Me: Give me a break, you guys! Anyways, I can still do some truth and dares but only a few now so people would focus more on the plot than the dares. I'll do the dare that ButterCupFlame reviewed for me!

Make Buttercup call Butch an asshole and WILL (say will really loudly like he is a person) pay. then punch him in the face.

Kaoru: Awesome! Hey Butch!

Butch: Yeah?

Kaoru: You're an asshole and you WILL pay! *punches his face*

Butch: OW! *clutches onto his bleeding nose*

Me: *gives him an icepack* Anyways, I only own the plot and the O.C.'s belong to their respective owners and the rest of the characters belong to the people who created them. Enjoy the chapter!

Ch. 16

Kaoru's p.o.v.

"Bark! Violin! Bark!"

"Yes, Hector. We all get it that Momoko here has the Phoenix Violin."

"Bark! Bark! Bark!"

"If that thing doesn't shut up, I'll send it all the way to space!" I growled viciously.

"G-Got it!" Jack nearly shivered as Hector stopped barking and quickly hid behind him. Finally, some peace and quiet.

"I can't believe this! Our girls are the Goddesses of Light!?" Butch grabbed his hair in frustration.

"Momoko has the Phoenix Violin, Miyako has the Dolphin Piano, and Kaoru has the Panther Flute," Brick replied. "Each of them has the same type of light that the previous users had in the past."

"This is bad! I don't want my mate to be involved in this dangerous situation where the Voltiacs are included!" Boomer exclaimed.

On second thought, never mind. I groaned and threw my head back as I took in a deep breath and released it to calm my nerves. We were still in the same area where we had to get some rest and when Brick and Momoko went to find some food for us, they came back a couple hours later but Brick was frantic. He told us everything on what happened from Momoko following a strange voice and coming across Rose, the Goddess of Fire who told her that she is the next wielder of the Phoenix Violin.

Now, our own mates are freaking out because we're the next Goddesses of Light and they're afraid that someone from the Voltiacs will know about us gaining the instruments and would try to destroy us including the instruments so we wouldn't play the instruments in order to defeat them. I swear, everyday has some weird things happening to us. First, being trapped in a haunted house filled with good ghosts and an evil ghost, and now, we're in a world where vampires and other mythical creatures actually exist. I definitely hate my life right now.

"Um boys?" Momoko asked them.

"We gotta find a way to save our world and keep our mates safe from any danger!" Brick ignored her.

"Boys?" Miyako piped up.

"But how are we gonna do that!? They need to play the instruments in order to defeat them and save our world!" Boomer also ignored her.

"Uh guys?" I said.

"There's got to be another way! There's no way I'm having my mate face against a Voltiac!" Butch nearly growled and didn't hear me.

I felt my patience limiting so I stood up and yelled in a really loud voice, "HEY, YOU MORONS! COULD YOU ALL JUST SHUT UP AND LISTEN!?"

A tick mark appeared on my head as I tried to control my rage and the boys quickly stopped talking and looked at me and nearly gulped. This is what they get for making me mad.

"Will you boys shut up and listen to us now?" I asked in a calm but threatening tone.

"H-Hai!" they replied in unison while shivering in fear. Thats right, embrace my inner wrath.

"Good!" I happily replied and sat back down on the log.

"Wow," Jack said in shock.

"Never make Kaoru mad or that will happen," Momoko told him.

"G-Got it," Jack gulped.

"Boys, please let us help you defeat the Voltiacs," Miyako said.

"W-What!?" Boomer nearly yelled but quickly covered his mouth so he wouldn't face my wrath.

"We're the only ones who can play the instruments and defeat the Voltiacs because of our rare powers," Momoko started to explain. "I know you boys are against this but we have no other choice. If the girls and I don't play the instruments, everyone will be in danger!"

"Plus, we have our belts in which we can transform incase we have to fight against a Voltiac or another enemy," I finished.

"So let us help you! We're a couple now and we all must fight whatever is coming to us! So please!" we pleaded to them.

"L-Let us think about it, girls," Brick nearly stuttered.

"Alright but please make the right decision," Momoko begged.

"Okay," he sighed and turned to his brothers to discuss with them.

"By the way, you girls have to play the instruments in the chamber rooms of the Voltiac's castle, right?" Jack asked.

"We do but we have no clue on where they're residing in now or which area they're at," I answered.

"And plus, we have to figure out where it could be and get in without letting them know that we're in their territory," Miyako finished my answer.

"But how?" Momoko asked. "Their territory could be anywhere!"

"This looks like a job for Hector!" Jack said with triumph.

"How can Hector find the territory?" I asked.

"Don't forget, he detects supernatural objects and the presence of people depending on the distance. He'll be able to figure out where their territory is if he gets a scent from one of them and track it down somewhere," he explained.

"I doubt that could happen since Brick and Momoko were the only ones who encountered one but didn't get a sample from that guy," I sighed.

"Maybe if we could find the previous area where they resided in centuries ago, we could find something there and possibly a scent that could help us track them down!" he suggested.

"Thats actually not a bad idea at all," I heard Butch say. They're done discussing with their answer already?

"Did you boys made a decision?" Miyako asked them.

"We did," Boomer said. "We decided that as long as you girls stick close to us and not wander off, we'll let you help us fight off against the Voltiacs."

"And don't plan anything without letting us know about it or you'll get punished," Brick said in a serious tone.

"We get it, Brick-kun. We promise not to do anything rash," Momoko replied.

"Good!" he sighed.

"You boys are too overprotective," I sighed.

"We just wanna keep the girls we loved safe and sound," Butch hugged me from behind.

"I know but at least simmer down on the overprotecting."

"Its kinda hard to do that."

"Please, Butch."

"Call me Butch-koi~"

"Not gonna happen."

"Then Butch-kun."

"Oh fine! Please don't be too overprotective, Butch-kun."

"Thank you and alright, but only for you."

I blushed as he kissed my cheek and hugged me more. Even though he likes to make me blush all the time, I actually enjoy it since he's been proving to me how much he loves me.

"Awww, you're so swee- Ow!"

I elbowed his gut which made him let go of me and I turned to frown at him. "How many times have I told you to quit reading my thoughts!?"

"But I can't help it! I just wanna make sure that you're thinking good thoughts about me!" he rubbed his aching gut.

"The only bad thought that I would think about you is seeing you do something incredibly stupid that would make me laugh," I smirked.

"Hurtful!" he pouted.

"Don't know, don't care!" I stuck my tongue out at him playfully.

"Moving on, we should rest here for the night and leave once the sun rises up. So that way, we'll be able to travel faster and maintain a schedule here," Brick suggested.

"So our next destination would be to read to the ruins where the Voltiacs previously resided in?" Boomer asked.

"Bingo! Like Spicer said, we gotta see if we can find something that can lead us to them," Brick answered.

"The faster we can finish our travels, the better so I can get back home and work on my inventions," Jack sighed.

"Not without giving a goodbye kiss to your little girlfriend?" Butch snickered.

Jack blushed at his statement. "P-Princess is not my girlfriend!"

"I never said that it was Princess," he smirked at him.

I quietly laughed as Jack's face became so red that it matches his hair color. No way, he likes Princess! Looks like there is someone for Princess who's actually a good match for her. Hopefully, her attitude won't affect him that much but I'm pretty sure they'll get along well since Jack is an evil boy genius and Princess is a spoiled rich brat.

"You all suck," I heard him mutter.

"Lets just set up camp," Brick sighed as he sweat-dropped.

We brought out our gear and set up camp in the area around here. Hopefully, we won't have to worry about another instrument since we already got 3 and need to make sure that we're safe from being watched. However, I wonder what will happen now once we save the world and defeat the Voltiacs once and for all.

Yukina's p.o.v.

"Ani, I said I'm fine!" I sighed.

"Are you sure you're not mad anymore?" Natsuki asked me.

"I'm serious! I'm no longer mad so please stop asking me questions!"

"Okay, I believe you."

"Thank you!"

"And if you see Kaito, don't overdo the killing."

"I'll try not to."

"Good girl!"

"Why would you want to kill me?"

I turned my head to the sound of that voice and my eyes were wide as dinner plates as I saw someone coming out the window. His gray hair shone from the moonlight and his red eyes twinkled with gleam. No way, he's here!?

"Kaito!? How did you find us!?" Natsuki exclaimed in shock.

"Its a secret," he smirked and put a finger on his lips. "And the rumors are really true. You and Yukina are alive. Thats wonderful."

I stood up from the chair and slowly walked over to him. I put on a sweet smile just to confuse him so he won't notice how angry I am on the inside for calling me his lover and I noticed that Natsuki was slightly shivering from my smile. Looks like he caught on.

"Awww, did you miss me, Yukina-chan?" Kaito smirked and held his arms out. "Come over here and give me a hug, then."

I pretended to giggle and walked over to make it look like I'm accepting his hug. However, before he could put his arms around me, I lifted my knee and hit him in the crotch area really hard and I nearly smirked as I saw him have a pained expression on his face and he then fell to the floor clutching onto his family jewels.

"W-Why!?" he squeaked out in pain.

"Simple, YOU CALLED ME YOUR LOVER! HOW MANY TIMES DID I HAD TO TELL YOU TO NEVER CALL ME YOUR LOVER! WE'RE NOT EVEN DATING, YOU IDIOT!"

I brought my hand out to form a snowball and threw it at his face. Since I have ice powers, I have the ability to manipulate ice and snow. Natsuki has fire powers and since fire overpowers ice, he would melt at anything I would freeze at.

"Wasn't that too painful, Yukina?" I heard Natsuki say to me.

"He deserved it for calling me his lover even though I specifically told him that if he doesn't stop calling me that, he loses his jewels permanently," I shrugged and walked over back to my chair and sat back down on it.

"You are so gonna get it," Kaito winced as he struggled to stand up. "By the way, I'm pretty sure you discovered your brothers wings being white, right?"

"She did and I already told her the story," Natsuki replied.

"Did you tell her that the reason you have white wings is because you somehow got some angel blood in you that mixed with your demon blood?" Kaito asked.

"WHAT!?"
