Hello, readers! I'm so sorry for the really long hiatus! I had to finish up City of Arcane including the sequel but I'm now updating this story! I don't know how long each chapter would be but please bear with me! I'm trying to make this plot as interesting as possible!

Brick: Will Hector lead us to our mates!?

Boomer: Will we be able to find their hideout!?

Butch: If they lay a finger on my cupcake, I swear I will-

Me: Boys, calm down! And Butch, don't even think about finishing that sentence!

Butch: Whatever! *grumbles*

Momoko: Those shackles can hurt!

Kaoru: Same with being chained to the wall!

Miyako: I want the boys to come save us! I want my Boomer-kun! *sniffs*

Hector: Bark! Bark! Bark!

Jack: Hector is getting close to the scent!

Me: Lets not spoil anything! Okay, I only own the plot and the characters belong to their respective owners. Enjoy the story!

Ch. 19

Kaoru's p.o.v.

My eyes fluttered open as I heard someone banging against the door. I let out a huge yawn and groggily got up from the bed. Hold on. I woke up from the bed? I looked down to see that I was laying down on a huge bed with black velvet sheets and many white pillows.

I let out a small yelp as I realized that I was wearing a girly outfit. But not only that, I was wearing a skirt. A skirt! Don't those people know that I hate skirts!? The outfit consisted of an off-the-shoulder jade green top that reaches above my belly button so my stomach and shoulders are exposed. The skirt was also jade green and was mid-thigh, but it had slits on either side and a pair of shorts underneath them so you could see them from the slits.

A pair of light green ballet flats were put on my feet and they were pretty much comfortable. Hold on, I never remembered on wearing this outfit. Who put this on me!? And more importantly, where am I and where are my friends!? If those Voltiacs did this, they'll be facing my anger!

I looked around and realized that I was in a dark room with candles lit up to light up the place. Some light was streaming from the windows but they were covered by the curtains. They must prefer the dark more than the light. That would explain why they wore those cloaks as well.

Since I'm in a different room, where are Momoko and Miyako? Were they also taken to another room like this one? And are their outfits different like mine? I hope they're alright. I don't know why we're separated but it looks like the Voltiacs are up to something. I don't know what it is but I really hope it isn't bad at all.

The sound of the door opening made me look over to see who it was. A tall woman wearing a robe just like the Voltiacs appeared at the doorway with a small smile on her face. Her wavy white hair cascaded down to her elbows and it looked like her hair was glowing the room since it was white as snow. Her eyes were a piercing gray that looked like it could be silver eyes.

Her face was shaped like a heart including her lips that were painted red. Her skin is pale like the moon and it matches well with her hair and eyes. I have no idea whether that woman is really part of the Voltiacs or an angel. Though I don't even know if she has wings on her back or what.

"Are you done staring at me?" her honey-like voice filled the room.

I felt my cheeks heating up from her statement and quickly shook my head to make the blush go away. I did not stare at her like some sort of creep. I just studied her appearance. Yeah, thats a better statement. I studied her appearance so I could keep that memory of her in my head in case I forget about her or figure out if I met her before. I have to memorize which ones are the members of the Voltiacs and which ones aren't.

"W-Who are you?" I cursed at my stuttering.

"I am known as Tenshi, sweetheart," she giggled at me. "I am a healer to the Voltiacs."

"Healer? You mean a doctor?"

"Correct. If any of my members are injured, I heal them with my powers."

"What type of creature are you?"

"I'm a seraph."

"A seraph?"

"I'm part of the highest orders of the celestial hierarchy. We are known to be the most pure and ardor."

"So like an angel?"

"You could say that."

"But whats a pure angel like you doing with the Voltiacs. Don't you all hate violence?"

She let out a small, sad sigh and gave me a sad smile. "I owe them a huge debt for saving my life."

"Saving your life?" I asked her.

"A long time ago, my home village was burnt to the ground by an arsonist and my people perished into ashes from the flames. I'm the only survivor since I was away during that time. But after coming back, my family was gone including my friends. I was alone and I had no choice but to wander around in order to find a new home.

During that time, I couldn't activate my wings yet. When I was traveling at nighttime, I ran into some demons who were exiled from their home. Angels and demons still have trouble getting along so it was a bad situation. They surrounded me and were talking about selling me for some money since I'm a seraph.

When I wasn't looking, one of them tried to attack me but something blocked them from doing that. When I looked over, I saw a member of the Voltiacs knocking out the demon who tried to attack me. I don't know how it happened but the member knocked them all out in a huge flash.

After I was taken out of there and into another area, I thanked the member who saved me and the hood was off to reveal a man's face. I learned that he was the leader of the Voltiacs and he knew from my appearance that I was a seraph. He offered to let me live in his castle with the other members and be a healer for them since all angels know a lot of plants that are great for medicine.

I owed him my life so I accepted his position and became part of the Voltiacs and managed to fit right in. I became a healer for them and tend to their wounds or injuries whenever they come back from battle. Plus sometimes, I would be the peace maker for them or make them food since they have no idea how to cook well. From then on, I vowed to not leave the leader's side for all eternity."

"I'm sorry to hear about what happened to your home," I replied.

"Its alright. I managed to learn to move on," she gave me a small smile. "But now, you're awake so thats good."

"Hold on, were you the one who changed me into this outfit?"

"Thats correct. Since I'm the only female member of the group, I was ordered to keep an eye on you girls. I changed you out of your human outfits and into these outfits to start the ritual."

"Hold on, what ritual!?"

"I must take you girls to the ritual room where you will summon the golden prophecies and play them. The master wants to see how strong you girls are with them."

"And what if we refuse?"

"Then force would be used to bring you girls here."

"Will I see my friends there?"

"Of course."

"I guess I have no other choice."

I let out a small sigh and jumped off the bed. As I walked over to her, she gently grabbed my wrist and took me out of the room and into the hallway. It was long and narrow that kinda reminded me of the castle where Haru and the boys reside in. However, this one was a bit creepy.

We walked down the hall until we ended up at a door that was black with a skull carved onto the front. She pushed it open and took me inside where the room looked ancient. However, there were only 3 chairs placed in the middle in a circle and they were facing by the back.

A huge, white circle was drawn on the ground and it surrounded the chairs. The walls were a dull gray but some drawings were on them that represented symbols. A rainbow glass window stood near the high corner of the room and the light reflected it to make a rainbow light on the ground.

I looked around and my eyes met with Momoko and Miyako. Their outfits were similar like mine except Momoko's outfit was rose pink and Miyako's outfit was baby blue. They were near two hooded figures who were also Voltiacs and their hands grabbed their wrists. Hopefully, their grip is gentle like Tenshi's.

Then, they took us over to the chairs and had us sit on them. I sat on the green chair and the girls took the red and blue chair. As the Voltiacs backed up, the doors were opened loudly and a tall figure in a robe glided over to the room. After the doors were closed from behind, the figure walked over to another figure and whispered to it something in its ear.

The other figure nodded and uttered some words under its breath and the room began to light up a bit. I don't know whats happening but the girls and I held each other's hands from behind so we wouldn't be afraid. I don't know whats happening but it doesn't look too good.

Suddenly, our necklaces began to glow and out popped the golden instruments including the stands with the music sheets on them. They appeared in front of us glowing and shining that lit up the room due to their golden color. I don't know why or how but we all suddenly started playing the instruments.

Momoko played with the phoenix violin, Miyako played the dolphin piano, and I played the panther flute. The music let out a soothing melody and every music note came out of the instruments ranging in a rainbow color. All the members of the Voltiacs were almost in a trance from the music but the tall figure stood still like a statue. I wonder if he's in a trance or something.

Butch's p.o.v.

"This is the place!"

"Bark! Scent! Bark!"

The boys and I arrived at a castle that was almost big like ours but really dark and creepy looking. It looked medieval that dated back to the 17th century and the structure was dark colored and a bit of fog surrounded it. Some crows were flying around on top and the area felt really quiet.

"Is that the symbol of the Voltiacs?" Boomer pointed it out.

"Thats the one. I'm surprised no one has discovered this plate yet," Brick replied.

"They probably did something to keep this place hidden like magic or anything else," I said.

"So should we go in now?" Jack asked us.

"Not yet," Brick answered him. "We need to think of a way to sneak in and rescue the girls. If we're detected, its game over for us. And I doubt you have any ancient artifact that could help us."

"Sadly, I don't. I only brought my monkey staff," Jack sheepishly answered.

"Maybe his monkey staff could actually work! Jack can become a monkey when he uses it, right?" Boomer asked.

"Yeah he does," I raised my eyebrow at Boomer.

"If Jack becomes a monkey, he could use his skills to easily sneak in through the castle, give us an opening on whether or not the coast is clear, knock some guards out if there are any, and we could easily sneak inside without being detected!"

"Thats… actually not a bad idea at all," Brick replied. "But lets hope Jack can remain silent as a monkey while he does that."

"Of course I can!" Jack replied as he put Hector back in the back and brings his staff out and transforms into a monkey. "Nothing can stop Jack Spicer from achieving his goals!"

He let out a small monkey noise and began the process. We saw him manage to quietly sneak in but we have no idea what he did inside. But a few minutes later, he opened the gate and ushered us to follow him. We did that and quickly went inside with our speed. We used our heads to hear the thoughts of our girls or talk to them but we had no such luck. Damn it. We can't hear them at all!

Luckily, our noses could work since we memorized their scents. I let out a sniff and the scent of green apples overwhelmed my nostrils. I smirked and looked at my brothers who also smirked. Our girls are here. Hopefully, they aren't too far.

"You know whats weird? There were only two people here. I don't hear or sense anyone else in the castle at all besides the girls," Jack replied.

"We'll figure it out later. Right now, lets go to our girls," Brick said.

We followed their scents all over the castle and managed to track it down to a black door with a skull on the front. Boomer kicked the door open and we went in and the sight of what we saw made us gasp.

"Girls!" we all yelled and quickly went over to them.

Their bodies were on the ground and it looked like they weren't moving at all. We rested our heads on their chests and sighed in relief to hear them breathing. We gently shook them to wake them up but they weren't showing any signs of awakening at all. What did those Voltiacs do to them!?

"Um, where are their necklaces and whats with the new outfits?" Jack pointed out.

I noticed that Kaoru had a different outfit on and it made her look beautiful but now is not the time. I scanned her neck and frowned to see that the necklace wasn't around her neck. Did those Voltiacs took it? Or did they managed to get them after the Golden Prophecies were released from them? And if that happened, where are they?

"Lets take them back home now!" Brick exclaimed, standing up while holding Momoko bridal style.

"Right!" Boomer and I replied in unison and also stood up holding Miyako and Kaoru in our arms.

We ran out of the castle and all the way back home with Spicer following behind us in his monkey form. We better get there quick and not be too late. Those Voltiacs will pay for taking away our girls. But most importantly, they will not get away with the Golden Prophecies. We gotta figure out where they went with them. If they're destroyed, we're all doomed.
