Me: Hey everyone! I'm back! And I have some big news! This chapter is gonna be the last chapter of this story! Its gonna be finished and it'll complete the series of both House of the Haunted and Creatures of the Night!

Kaoru: Will it reveal to me what happened to Hanako?

Me: It will!

Momoko: What about Yukina finding her brother and learning about Kaito?

Me: For them, she went with her brother to find Kaito again and possibly hurt him for calling her his lover

Miyako: And Takaaki and Ren?

Me: They'll both go back to their Wolf Clan and make sure their own packs are okay

Boomer: *blushing* So our surprise is the girls treating us like kings and feeding us chocolates?

Brick: *also blushing* While wearing gothic vampiress outfits in our favorite colors?

Me: You got it!

Butch: Best surprise ever! :D

Kaoru: *blushing a bit* I never wanted to wear the dress but I had to since the girls and I made a promise to you boys!

Me: And you can never break a promise to them at all

Mojo: I can't believe the story is gonna end!

Him: Agreed

Me: I promise you that this will be a good ending for all of you!

Ivy: It better be!

Ch. 23

Kaoru's p.o.v.

"Its official," I said to myself. "I clearly hate my life."

I heard Butch chuckle in the bathroom and I scowled at his super hearing. Seriously, couldn't he stop eavesdropping on what I say? I like my privacy, thank you very much. He's lucky that he doesn't need to feel any pain today. I still can't believe I have to do this.

Why did I agree on giving Butch his surprise? Oh right. We promised the boys if they let us help them defeat the Voltiacs and get the Golden Prophecies back. Which, by the way, are now in safe hands at their hidden locations where no one will find them.

I gotta say, I was pretty surprised to hear that the girls and me were the Goddesses of Light who can play the instruments. I guess its due to how we have the white lights within us and since we're also superheroes, thats why we were chosen to play the Golden Prophecies. We have good within us and so were the previous Goddesses of Light.

Now that we managed to save this world and possibly other worlds from being taken over, peace has finally been restored and we have nothing to worry about. Though I still wonder how Jack managed to elude the Voltiacs without getting caught and managing to find us without being followed. His monkey abilities probably helped him out. Must've used his monkey staff for quite a long time and got use to it.

"I'm done, Kaoru-chan."

I snapped out of my thoughts and looked over and quickly covered my eyes with my hands. What the heck is he doing!? Is he trying to make me go blind!? And here I thought he isn't that perverted but I guess I was wrong!

"Butch! Put some clothes on!"

"But I'm wearing a towel."

"That doesn't count!"

"You do like seeing my muscles, though."

"Seeing you wearing clothes is better!"

"Awww, you're so adorable!"

"Just put some clothes on!"

"Alright. Alright. But you're gonna miss this 6 pack."

"Butch!"

I continued to cover my eyes as I heard him open the closet and get his clothes out. I do not want to see him bare and if I did, I would most likely barf or die from it. I never want to see him bare at all.

"But you will see me bare on our honeymoon."

"Butch! Quit reading my mind!"

"I can't. You're so cute when you're flustered."

"And what do you mean honeymoon!?"

"Once we turn 18, we'll be properly married and have a honeymoon at a place you'll definitely love."

"Like what? Hawaii? Brazil? Anywhere?"

"Anywhere with a great view from our suite. Once we arrive there, we'll have a romantic night together and connect with each other before we go to sleep."

"I hope you mean talking."

"I meant a different type of connect. You know? Both of our bodies pressed against each other and-

"Okay! I get it! Just don't put that image in my mind!"

"I understand. You can remove your hands now. I'm now dressed."

"You better be!"

I removed my hands from my face and looked up to see that he was dressed up. However, he wore a baggy green tank-top that was loose so I could see his muscles and black pajama pants with green stripes on the sides. At least he's decent and not shirtless.

"What do you think of my new look?" he gave me a pose thats supposed to be sexy.

"You look the same," I bluntly replied.

"Aw, come on!" he pouted at me. I let out a small laugh and stuck my tongue out at him. "Like I said, you still look the same."

"Okay, now you're just teasing me!"

"How about you just sit on the bed next to me?"

"With pleasure!"

He went over to the bed and sat down on the spot next to me. I gulped a bit and brought out the box of chocolates from behind me and placed it on my lap. I removed the lid and picked up a small, chocolate rectangle with vanilla icing on it and put it in his mouth. He chewed on it and gulped it, licking his lips after that.

"That was yummy. Now I'm glad to know what the surprise was."

"But its only for today. For now, just be glad I'm feeding you chocolates and treating you like a king."

"If I'm gonna be treated like a king, shouldn't you be on my lap while feeding me?"

"Not gonna happen."

"Pretty please?"

"Oh fine! But only because you said the world 'please'."

I took some small breaths to calm myself down and moved over to sit on his lap. Even though this dress covers me well, it kinda shows off my shoulder and collarbone. A small amount of cleavage was also shown but it was invisible to the naked eye. But since he's closer, he's probably smirking in triumph and wanting to get a good view of it.

I picked up another piece of chocolate and fed him again. Since they all have random flavors in them like caramel, coconut, nuts, white chocolate, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, strawberry, orange, vanilla, cherry, peanut butter, and so many other flavors in each box of chocolates. Though each company makes really good chocolates and they're all in random shapes and sizes with different flavors in them.

After I finished feeding him all the chocolates, he put his arms around my waist and hugged me. I leaned my head against his chest and I could hear his heart beating from his ribcage. But aren't vampires dead and they don't have any heartbeat? How could I still hear his?

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot!" I heard him exclaim.

He took out something from the stand and put it on my lap. I looked down to see that it was a folded note so I unfolded it and read it. My eyes widened in shock a bit but after reading it again just to make sure, I realized that it was real and not a fake.

"Butch, how long did you had this note?" I ask him while maintaining my anger.

"I just received it an hour ago. While you and your friends were in the other room, a messenger bird came and gave me this note. I figured that I should go and give it to you but you came into my room so I thought here would be better," he explained to me. "Are you mad?"

"I'm not," I said. "I'm just relieved that she's alright."

"Thats good," he said and kissed my head.

The note was written in Hanako's handwriting and she even put down a lot of exclamation points. After she was bitten and passed out, Norio took her back to his home clan and patched her up so she wouldn't suffer from any blood loss. When she woke up, she was freaked out that he bit her and would try to find some things to throw at him and call him a creeper for taking her away from the castle.

She would threaten to rip his testicles off if he doesn't bring her back home but he would always refuse. But when the days pass by and he would tone it down on his perverted ways towards her, she learned that he's not that bad of a guy and kinda had some similarities with him. They both love green, they're tough in their own ways, and they're quite protective of their loved ones.

After they learned to get along with each other, she started to feel comfortable with him and is now in a relationship with him. They even did the mating ritual so they could be bonded as husband and wife. However, she decided to not be a werewolf and remain as an earth fairy. Norio understood but told her that their kids will be part wolf once they make love to each other. She said that she'll wait until they're old enough to have kids.

She even wrote down that she really wanted to hang out with me more and was glad to have met another tomboy like her. She says I should ask my mate, aka Butch, if I could go see her again where Norio's clan resides at. Or if she could come to see me again. She even wrote down some numbers that looked like it could be her phone number. I wonder if she does have a cellphone with her?

"Do you think I'll be able to visit her?" I looked up at Butch.

"As long as you're good and won't do anything to break the rules in this castle, I'll let you visit her," he answered me.

"Alright," I said.

"Good girl," he kissed my cheek, which made me blush a bit.

I hugged him again and let my head rest against the crook of his neck. He gave me a warm hug and I could hear him breathing from his nose. He then picked me up as he got up and laid me down on the bed. He then joined in and laid down next to me and hugged me so my head could rest against his chest.

"Hey Butch."

"Yes?"

I lifted my head up so he could see me and I gave him a small peck on the lips. "I love you, you perverted bad boy."

He was shocked for a minute but then gave out a small smirk and kissed my nose. "I love you too, my hot, sexy tomboy."

"You really are a pervert."

"But I'm your pervert."

"Oh Butch."

He chuckled and rested his chin on top of my head as I snuggled against him. Whoever thought that Buttercup of the PPGZ would fall for Butch of the RRBZ. After the events that happened in the haunted house and then learning to see that he vanished and became a vampire, I'm glad to actually be with him. He's not just my counterpart and soulmate, but he's also my other half. I guess love isn't all that bad.
