KEdakumi: Yeah the first few chapters were a bit rough the shards ended up back in her pocket I coulda sworn I wrote that out lol. Yep this little miko has some serious pent up sexual energy and sometimes it's hard to reset that when you find you have a connection with someone. Doesn't hurt that Yoko is sexy lol. Because I Was Bored Chapter Two Part Two
The group followed Jeido and Koga as they talked, Kuwabara couldn't keep his eyes off the female wolf. He smiled watching her hips sway opposite her long tail, it was nice to feel his heart skip a beat again. When Yukina the ice maiden he had fallen in love with decided to return to her homeland hoping to help the others rebuild he felt his heart shatter and was sure it would never go back together. He jogged forward stopping when he could see Jeido better but not close enough to alert the wolf, unintentionally he ended up next to Yusuke and the kit.
"I think Kuwabara might like JeiJei." Shippo whispered to Yusuke tapping his slicked back hair. Yusuke looked away from the night sky to watch his friend, realizing the kit was right he chuckled.
"Jump on over to the big guy's shoulder I've got an idea Shippo." Nodding the kit jumped to Kuwabara's shoulder making the man bark in shock.
"Don't worry big guy it's only me." The man sighed at the kit's whisper in his ear, Shippo patted the side of his head making Kuwabara smile at the soft touch. He wasn't a kitten but he might as well be with how cute the man thought the kit was. When he first saw the kit he had to fight the hardest he'd ever fought anything not to scoop the kit into his arms and squeal like a girl. "So you like Jeido huh?" Kuwabara scratched the back of his head laughing nervously.
"So Jeido, you got a boyfriend?" Kuwabara watched slack jawed at Yusuke's question though he knew the spirt detective had no interest in the wolf he couldn't help the pang of jealousy he felt. Koga was on the detective in an instant his growl echoing through the forest.
"Calm down KoKo, he only asked a simple question." Her eyes were sad as she placed her hand on her brother's shoulder making his body calm.
"But Jeido I know you don't like to talk about it. The pack says you were in a rage for months." Koga's voice was softer than the group had ever heard, even his confessions of love for Kagome were flamboyant.
"It's been one hundred and fifty years KoKo I've gotta talk about it sometime. Just a few more minutes and we'll be at the den I'll entertain our guests over some well-deserved food." The group walked in silence none more than Yusuke. His brown eyes watched his feet pad against the dirt. The full moon was high in the sky, as they crossed the threshold to the den their attitudes changed and the group smiled brightly at each other. They were first approached by the pups of the pack their toothy smiles hard to resist.
"Hello Princess JeiJei!" They said in unison their voices mashing together to creating a painful mismatch of sound.
"Hello to all of you as well!" The princess smiled back at the pups. "I want you all to welcome my friends. First this is sister Kagome!" The pups gasped sharing excited looks when they recognized the name as that of Koga's intended woman. "You've all heard of Inuyasha from brother Koga," Mimicking the look she gave the pups wrinkled their noses at the half demon. "Next I'm sure you'll recognize them as well are Miroku, Sango, Kirara, and Shippo, they've helped the wolf clans in the past be sure to treat them well." Sango waved at the pups getting shy responses Shippo jumped from his perch on Kuwabara to personally introduce himself. Jeido let them talk for a moment before continuing. "The little one over there with the black outfit and mean look that's Hiei." She stuck her tongue out at the hybrid when he glared. "Next is sister Kagome's cousin Yusuke." He nodded awkwardly the pups smiling greeting him as cousin Yusuke. "Last but not least is Kuwabara!" During the introductions she had moved around the group pointing to each team member but when she got to the tall man she placed her hand softly on his arm he coughed placing his other hand on his face trying to hide his blush. "Treat them as you would the rest of the pack they are friends of sister Kagome and are always welcome. Now go be good little gossips and spread the word."
"Mama, can I go with?" Shippo looked up with glittering green eyes at Kagome.
"Sure sweetheart just be careful." She smiled and followed the princess when she gestured to continue. They passed old and young wolf demons as well as actual wolves, to Kagome and Inuyasha's surprise they passed a few half demons as well.
"Don't worry too much about Shippo sister Kagome, we've got a strong patrol around the den to prevent unwanted guests. Just through here is the dining hall you can bathe after we have some food." The smell hit the team like a brick wall starting the chorus of growling stomachs. "Seems like the hunters have already returned with their kill. Dinner should be soon." They busied themselves with small talk until a steady stream of wolves brought in plate after plate of cooked meat. Every three plates were filled with an assortment of fruits and vegetables. Koga followed his sister and they sat at the front of the room on the furs that were laid out in a rectangular pattern. The middle of the room was dug into a small steady pit filled with hot coals, a second line of wolves brought in metal stands wedging them into the coal the plates of meat were placed on the top to ensure it stayed warm.
"Listen up!" Koga yelled once the last plate was set in its proper place when all eyes were on them Jeido stood her dark eyes filled with love as she looked at her pack.
"We are celebrating tonight everyone! Sister Kagome has come for a visit along with her friends. Treat them well and eat to your hearts content!" Shouts rang out and the princess smiled waving being sure every wolf had something to eat before she sat and pulled a few pieces of the rawest meat she could find and began eating. When she was done chewing the first bite she began to address the group when a wolf tried to sneak under her elbow sniffing at the remaining meat she had placed on her knee. "Yon, you touch my meat and I swear I will wear your ass as a hat!" She growled at the wolf who whined as he ran away. "That's right you have your own damn food go eat that! Fuckin' why do they always want mine?" The princess looked up catching the flabbergasted eyes of Kagome's group and laughed running a clawed hand through her long hair whipping back. "Pardon my language after everything I've been through it's hard to care about the little things." Her fangs popped over her lip in a happy grin.
"Well I don't mind, Yusuke has a bad mouth too! Not that you've got a bad mouth…I think you've got a nice mouth…I mean…" Kuwabara trailed off when attention shifted to his ramblings, blushing he shoved an apple in his mouth.
"Thank you Kuwabara it's nice to be myself and liked by others." Only a few at the table noticed the blush spread across Jeido's face taking the silence as her que she began her story. "To begin you have to know a little about me and KoKo here. We have the same father but different mothers, I'm about forty years older than my little brother. Unlike Koga's mother mine was royalty from a small nearly unknown clan she was a beautiful snow color. That's what attracted him to her in the first place." Absentmindedly she drew her tail into her lap caressing the underside the group noticed was a striking white. "My mother passed when I was young and dad didn't have time for me and KoKo here so I took over control of my small pack. We didn't do very well at first trying to be what we were, demons. We were so disorganized our raids never went well and on one specific day when the weight of my packs hunger became too much I ran to the woods. Hungry and finally alone for the first time in many years I sank to my knees and cried. That is how Hiroto found me, silently he knelt beside me and wrapped his arms around me." Her eyes sad she wrapped her arms around herself remembering the touch. "Of course I growled and jumped away asking him what the hell he thought he was doing. He explained I looked far too sad for a beautiful girl and shocked by his indifference to what I was I explained. He was human by the way. He gave me some of his boar he'd just killed just so you know sharing food is a big thing for wolves so when he did this part of me became attached automatically. Here I was starving and this human was just giving away food. After that we began to meet frequently each time he brought me food even after I explained he was making his way into the heart of a demon. He just laughed and tossed more meat my way. I couldn't help it, even after all the things I'd been taught I fell in love with a human. Wolves mate for life but before we had a chance to make it official war broke out between the clans. I tried to keep my pack out of it but even though we are small we are talented and we had the love of the humans at the base of our territory. When another clan attacked us the humans sent their greatest warriors to come to our aid. I had always been under the impression that humans were weak worthless beings meant only for food but that day they fought harder than I'd ever seen a demon attempt. As we drove the enemy back their leader saw an opportunity to strike at my heart. In celebration of our victory I failed to notice his sword aimed at me, Hiroto did not. Jumping in front of me the sword plunged through him stabbing his heart. The leader was killed in seconds but that's all it took for Hiroto to die. I was only a few steps away but he died alone his grey eyes still watching me a proud smile on his face." A singe tear fell from her dark eyes and she quickly wiped it away. "I hardly remember my vision bleeding red as I killed every last one of his wolves. After that I hunted down every leader and loyalist of theirs, never resting my vision never clearing until I came across KoKo. Though my heart was broken I could not kill one of my own, my pack. As the red drained from my vision my tired body collapsed, I woke the next week KoKo still sitting by my side growling at any wolf who dare approach. By that time he had the jewel shards and after my spree no one wanted to mess with Koga." She smacked her brother in the face at his cocky grin. She began pointing out the largest scars she had explaining where they came from. Two large claw marks ran down the left side of her face she touched them lightly with her fingers explaining it was her first wound from the same leader who had killed her would be mate. The second she showed disappeared beneath her armor but she explained it was a large cross shape caused by the swords of twin wolves she told of how she decapitated the first and ripped out the heart of the second. Bringing her leg up she showed the deep teeth marks that covered it. "These I got from a very angry dog demon who got in my way and has come to learn a little respect for me, you might know him mutt you've got the same relationship with him I have with KoKo here" She winked at Inuyasha who looked at her with his mouth wide open.
"You know Sesshomaru?" The detective and his friends watched lost when she nodded as Kagome and her friends questioned her in unison. She nodded laughing, before she could continue explaining her scars the wolves around the table began singing.
"Oh I think you guys will like this, Koga I'm sure hasn't shared much of our culture with you guys so let me explain." Their song was haunting a beautiful melody of howling and words the group could not understand.
"They are singing to our ancestors asking for protection for our guests and prosperity for the pack," Koga smiled explaining to the group after his sister had joined the howling her eyes closed. Shippo had joined them during the distraction and recognizing the language as one close to what his parents had taught him he sang along his little yips and whines taking place of the howls. When the song was done Jeido and Koga showed them to where they would be sleeping, the women and men were placed in small caves opposite each other.
"Alright girls, why don't we go take a bath. I know it's something that's been on sister Kagome's mind all day." Jeido laughed at the miko's protests insisting she would be fine and they didn't have to come. "Nonsense I had a good sweat running after KoKo so I could use a bath!" Taking the miko and demon slayer by the hands she ran off laughing at the girls as they squealed. The wolf princess was the first in the hot spring ripping her clothes off and jumping into the water. The other girls laughed as they carefully stripped placing their clothes in neat piles away from the water. "Ahh it's so nice to just relax." Jeido stood hip deep in the water her tail swishing beneath making bubbles, she moved her hair over one shoulder.
"Where did you get those scars, if you do not mind me asking Princess," Sango motioned to Jeido's back where four long claw marks extended from her right shoulder to her left hip.
"Oh this?" She reached over her shoulder to touch the top of the scar. "That one is from KoKo! Like I said I owe allot to sister Kagome." Seeing their questioning looks she continued. "You all met Koga before he refused to eat humans. Long story short he didn't agree with my love of a human, even after he was gone. But after he met you sister he came to me tears in his eyes and begged me to forgive him for chasing me away from his den when he found out why I killed our kin." She smiled at the girls and they finished their bath in silence. A goodnight shared between the groups they separated to their respective rooms.
Silently Jeido made her way through the halls of her den her leg muscles tight as she tried to make little noise. The snoring of the men could be heard from her room making it easy to know they would not wake. A single eye watched her as she entered the cave the spirit detective and his friends were in, she made a face at Hiei and his eye closed satisfied there was no threat. She made her way to Kuwabara and silently lowered herself beside him snuggling her face into his chest giggling as he let out a large snort. Her tail wrapping around his waist she drifted to sleep.
