Story is continued in Gumball vs Freddy.
Also, the story of Sora meets the PPGs takes place in the first game of Kingdom Hearts.
So basically, Professor opens a portal which he thinks will bring Sora back to his world, but it actually goes to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.
Everyone except Professor gets sucked into the portal.
