A/N: Okie dokie I hope you guys are enjoying it so far :D I know you guys aren't fooled about Yoko's death at least any of you who watched/read Yu Yu Hakusho which I'm doing again for the umpteenth time. I still have to get the rest of the books though. Good god this fanfiction has made it to fifty-one pages in my word document I'm so happy! Well on with the story!

Kimmico: I am a functional drunk lol though I end up falling asleep after half a bottle of vodka. I'm glad you liked my last chapter and I hope you like this one too! Hee hee as for Naraku just read this chapter ;) It's all been leading to this end point the meat of the story. I'm not a huge fan of reader parings either when they put in Y/N or (Your name) it brings you out of the story. I will write that for you after or during this one if I get writers block :D

Because I Was Bored Chapter Five

Kagome barely registered the trip back to Kaede's village her legs moving automatically, her lover's blood still staining her white blouse. Her hands rubbed absentmindedly at her stomach it seemed impossible she would be having a child so soon and after only her first time too. When they entered the village the small blur of orange bounded into her arms chattering excitedly until the smell reached his nose and he found the group was missing a member.

"No…Mama…" He sobbed into her chest his cries echoing though the village.

"We can't just leave them like that guys we have to tell them!" Yusuke whispered roughly to his comrades.

"You know we cannot, Kurama gave us strict instruction." Hiei crossed his arms he would never reveal to the detective how his heart clenched in pain for the miko.

"Well I guess it's time we go back…We've got the jewel and the last piece is in my dresser at home." Kagome spoke softly looking around at her friends Inuyasha whined Sango began crying and swiftly pulled the girl into a hug.

"Will you be able to return?" The demon slayer asked though sobs.

"I don't know…" Kagome scanned the group fresh tears falling from her red eyes. "Yusuke you guys go on ahead…I'll catch up." Her cousin nodded making his way to the well Hiei following. Kuwabara sniffled looking at the wolf princess he pulled her along with him away from the newly widowed miko. They came to the well and by then he was crying freely.

"I don't want to leave!" He yelled pulling her into his arms she smiled softly snuggling into his chest inhaling his scent.

"You have to Kazuma, you have family who care about you. I would kill Koga if he went off somewhere and never returned. Plus I will find you, it's only five-hundred years." She smiled at his wide eyed look.

"But that's so long!"

"For you dear it'll only be a few seconds." She giggled pushing him towards the well.

"But five-hundred years how do I know you won't find someone else?" She smiled and crooked her finger at him, he bowed down his nose nearly touching hers. He yelped when her fangs bit into the soft skin connecting his shoulder and neck. Keeping him in place with strong arms she licked at the blood until the wounds closed being replaced with the dull glow of a blood red moon.

"Because dear wolves mate for life." She whispered into his skin kissing the new mark softly making him shudder his mind torturing him with the past half a year they'd spent together.

"I love you." He whispered picking her up into a tight hug she squeaked making them both laugh. "I'll see you soon." He kissed her softly and with her smile etched into his mind he hopped over the well letting the blue light surround him.

"I love you too big guy I just hope you don't freak out when you meet the pups." Jeido smiled knowingly down at her stomach and with a happy sigh she walked back to the crying group.

"Alright Shippo are you ready?" Kagome asked softly.

"What do you mean?" He asked looking up at her streaks of tears still on his cheeks.

"Did you think I was going to leave my little kit behind? If Koenma doesn't let you through I'll just beat him until he gets you back to me." Kagome nuzzled his hair as he whooped his tears falling out of happiness. "I'm sorry I can't bring you guys too." She looked to her other friends her heart thumping painfully. "I can't change history like that. Out of curiosity I looked you up in my time and I found your family records." She smiled knowingly at the demon slayer and monk. "You have lots of children!" The miko laughed at the perverted glint in the monk's eye and the blush on Sango's face.

"You guys have been dancing around this for years just get on with it!" Inuyasha yelled from his spot against the wall. Kagome stood with Shippo in her arms and nodded her head for the half demon to follow her with a grunt he did.

"We love you Kagome." Sango called after her making the miko choke on a sob.

"I love you guys too. If I can find a way back here I will." She smiled brightly then ducked out of the hut.

"So what do you want?" Inuyasha asked gruffly the bone eaters well a few steps away.

"I wanted to say goodbye…and tell you to be happy Inuyasha." He gave the girl a small smile nodding his head.

"Thank you Kagome I-" The blood hit her face before she could comprehend what was happening. Her mind catching up to her eyes she screamed. Inuyasha stood before her a large tentacle pierced through the half demon's chest. "Run!" He barked but before she could take a step a cold hand picked her up by the neck.

"Hello Kagome." The deep voice whispered in her ear making her stomach clench in fear.

"Naraku." She choked out. "But how?" He laughed tearing the nearly complete jewel from her neck.

"Well I realized somehow you continued to beat me in these pointless battles and I came up with a plan." He paused to squeeze her small neck loving the way she whimpered in pain. "I needed to lure you and your group into a false sense of security…but the only way I could think to do it is die. That would be quite a dent in my plans."

"But what I killed it…wasn't a puppet."

"Quite ingenious wasn't it? You've met my other children, he was one of them." He chuckled at the glare the miko gave him. "Poor little miko, thought your mate died an honorable death?" He laughed again and threw her to the ground. "I think I will let you live, you know how much I enjoy the torture of your little group." Kagome coughed holding her bruising throat, with a sick crunch of bone the tentacle removed itself from the half demons chest and just like that Naraku was gone.

"Inuyasha!" Kagome rasped her vision blurring.

"Don't worry about me Kagome, I've been through worse. Plus Kikyo is coming." His ears perked at the sound of her soul stealers. "Go home Kagome, be with your family. We can take care of this from here." The dead miko brushed past her reincarnation giving a curt nod to the girl. Fresh tears falling she grabbed her kit and jumped into the well praying to every god she knew of that the kit would make the trip. She sat at the bottom of the well and cried for her lost friends, her lost mate, her futile quest, and she cried with relief.

"Mama?" Shippo asked patting her wet cheeks with small clawed hands.

"I'm alright baby, I'm alright." She sniffled wiping away the tears with the back of her hand. Kagome looked down worried when her kit's body stiffened. "What is it Shippo?" She pulled him closer to her chest heart racing with fear.

"Papa…" He whispered.
