Naruto was a child that was hated in his village and all he wanted was a better life and family to love. Well what if a certain Bijuu in his gut was listening and wanted to help a poor child? Naruto is taken to a new world were devil powers came from fruit by storm. because of unforseen circumstances updating will be put in haitus [temporary]

2. Chapter 2

Hey everyone thanks for your support and reviews I really appreciate it and I know that I made a few mistakes and while I can't take the time to fix it mostly because I'm too lazy to do it, BUT I HAVE BEEN TOLD OF WERE TO LOOK FOR INFO ON IT. So as not to waste time here is the second chapter so please enjoy

A young man was laid back on a small boat letting them take him were ever they wished. The male was about 18 years of age with sun-kissed hair with red streaks tide up into a pony tail, slightly tan skin with whisker marks adorning his high cheekbones that had no hint of fat. He was wearing a simple black shirt with a fox in the front underneath a black cape with the kanji for fox and nine red tails surrounding it. He had white dress pants and steel toed dress shoes and a ninjatō strapped to waist by a black belt along with flintlock pistol, his gaze was fixed on the sky.

'Luffy I wonder if you will truly die for your dream.'

He was broken from his thoughts by the sound of fighting, and turning to his right he saw a no name pirate crew fighting a medium sized marine vessel trying to make a name for themselves. The sight brought out Naruto's bloodlust and a sadistic smile adorned his face.

'It looks like I get to have some fun finally!' he thought. 'I'm so glad to be rid of that hellhole and out here now let's see if any of them can give me a good fight!'

Naruto turned the boat and started to row towards the ships.

~Konoha~

Tsunade could feel a dreadful migraine coming to. She cursed her sensei to the grave for having settled her with such an annoying job, she could still remember the day she arrived to the village on command or be put in the bingo books as an s-class traitor.

~Flashback~

"SENSEI WHAT THE HELL IS-" Tsunade was interrupted by a glare from the Third.

"Sit down we have much to discuss child" now she knew it was serious because he never called her that in her life so she decided to listen for once.

"Now Jiraiya already knows this because he arrived sooner than you did, but we are in a tight spot. Surely you noticed that all the destruction and root ninja all around." He waited at her nod. "Well you see not long ago there was a bombing by an unknown individual that placed explosive notes in certain points around the village. I don't know how but the Anbu headquarters was one, so were the houses of the civilian council and the elders, the worst of all was-" he was interrupted by a ninja coming in with a few papers when he revised them Tsunade could see fury and another emotion she could not place before her teacher blanked out his face.

"As I was saying the other key point was the Kyuubi Jinchuuriki's home"

It hit her like a great punch delivered by her 'No it can't be!' she faced the old man, "Is he dead?" he showed sadness but one with great skill could tell it was fake unfortunately the woman was too far into her depression to notice. "Unfortunately the report that just arrived was a medical test from the blood found in the left over from his apartment, so yes Tsunade Naruto is…dead"

The woman couldn't take it anymore and once again since the death of her brother and lover she cried.

~Flashback End~

A few months after, when all looked fine and there was a low chance that rival villages would attack while down Tsunade was elected the new Hokage, she did not want the job but if she did not take it then the other Hidden villages would attack and her home would be destroyed.

Now it was time of the Chūnin exams and the final rounds had commenced, Jiraiya was forced to improve his information network now that he could not get out of the Leaf and did not have a worthy successor, if his information was correct than that ugly snake-faced ex-teammate of theirs was next to her in the Kage box.

"Hmmmm, quite interesting matches don't you think Hokage-dono?" came the raspy voice of the Kazekage. "Yes you are right Kazekage-dono" she said in her teacher's voice under her henge. Apparently Orochimaru had not found out about the old man's death and this was the perfect way to get rid of the village traitor.

"Oh, but the best fight has just begun between my son and your Uchiha prodigy."

Indeed those two were about to fight, but about the little Uchiha runt the word prodigy was way to high class for someone like him.

When the Uchiha was about to be killed by the Jinchuuriki black feathers fell from the sky and put all the civillians and genin.

The Kage box exploded and a giant barrier was put up encasing Tsunade the hidden Jiraiya and Orochimaru who decided that his disguise had long since stopped being of use.

"OROCHIMARU YOU ARE DEAD WE KNEW OF THE INVASION WITH THE SAND" bellowed Tsunade, she was expecting many things from the slimy snake but she would never fathom that he would laugh at the face of death since he went to great measures to avoid it.

"YOU STUPID OLD HAG! YOU THINK I DIDN'T KNOW THAT?! I MADE HIM AWARE OF MY PLANS THOUGH THE INFORMATION WAS A LITTLE OFF"

Though she was furious at the jab at her age she was more confused at what he meant, he seemed to notice her look and told her to look at the village. What she saw made her pale considerably and curse him to hell.

"Though I was hoping to kill the old man you two will be good replacements!"

So the last battle of Konoha started and though victory would be nice the reinforcements from earth country was more than enough to bring it to the ground.

'Naruto I-I-I-I wish to see you again, I'm sorry to have never been there for you'

Was the last though of the fifth and last Hokage before everything was buried in rocks and sand.

~back with Naruto~

Naruto felt a shiver go down his spine like someone was trying to contact him beyond the grave.

He ignored the feeling and went back to what he was doing, he had received news that his adoptive little brother Luffy had taken out Arlong and his crew with the help of people he got to join. He was happy and heading in the direction where he promised they would meet once again to see how far he had gone from a weak boy to a pirate captain.

'Wait for me little brother I will see you soon. And hopefully knowing you I will get into many fights with strong opponents' he thought adding the last part with a dark sadistic smile.

~Straw-hats~

"WHAT? You have got to be kidding me the prices to this are getting ridiculous!" yelled name the navigator for the Straw-hat pirates. Nami is a young, normal-sized and slim girl, with orange hair and light brown eyes. She wore a plain navy blue, short-sleeved shirt, a dark blue mini-skirt with white rings on the sides, and navy blue high-heeled sandals. She joined after Luffy helped her.

Though annoyed with the price she paid and started to read the article until she noticed an odd poster. When she got a closer look at it she saw that I was a picture of her captain with a ridiculous grin on his face when looking at the camera.

"Guys come quick Luffy got a bounty!" that got everyone's attention even the normally sleeping Zoro.

Luffy seemed happy with it which earned him Nami's fury when she yelled at him that the marines would now come after them more.

Zoro and the crew chef looked at the poster and were impressed at the high bounty that was given to their idiot leader. Soon they began arguing and fighting which got them a bump in the head to each from irritated navigator.

Not long after Sanji-the chef- spotted an island.

"Oh, that is Loguetown, it's the last stop in east blue before heading in to the grandline"

When she said that no one missed the way Luffy's eyes shine with excitement.

"Luffy what's wrong?" asked Usopp, a guy with a weak looking body and a long nose.

"That is where my big brother promised to meet me" answered Luffy.

"YOU HAVE A BROTHER?" they all screamed.

"I didn't tell you guys?" Luffy asked with a sheepish smile on his face.

"NO YOU DIDN'T YOU BAKA!" releasing their frustration on their captain having to deal with his stupidity at times really needed a way out and what better way than the reason in the first place?

After calming down a bit Usopp asked the important question "so what does your brother look like?"

Getting into a thinking pose he began to describe Naruto "Well he is tall, has blond hair with red streaks, he's slightly tan and muscular always wears a black cape and his pistol"

Nami thought that he sounded cute but ever since Luffy helped her get her town back she had a crush on the rubber idiot.

Sanji didn't care and kept servicing Nami with a heart visible in his only uncovered eye while dancing like a love noodle dance.

Usopp was curious and tried to picture him and Luffy as brothers.

Zoro was intrigued and decided to ask a question.

"Luffy is your brother strong?"

That took in everyone's attention, Luffy on the other hand was thinking back to all the spars and training he did with the blonde and started to shake like a leaf.

"H-he's the strongest between me, Ace and him"

That started all new feelings between the crew not being able to imagine someone that could be stronger than their monster of a captain.

"Wait who's Ace?" asked Nami

"Oh my other brother"

Again they got mad at him for not telling him about his brothers.

When they got to Loguetown they each separated to do their own thing. Luffy wanted to see where Gold Roger was executed, Nami wanted to buy clothes, Sanji wanted to re-supply because of Luffy's nightly raids of the ship, and Usopp wanted new sniper goggles.

On his way to his destination Luffy had gotten himself lost several times before finally asking for directions never noticing the figure that was stalking him from the rooftops.

"Finally! I founded so this is where Gold Roger was executed" Luffy said to no one in particular as he made his way to the top.

When he did reach the top he heard someone yelling "HEY YOU GET DOWN FROM THERE"

"WHY?"

"BECAUSE THAT IS A HISTORICAL LANDMARK PROTECTED BY THE WORLD GOVERNMENT"

"Oh, please don't be so rude" said a woman that proceed to hit the marine over the head with a giant mace.

When marines came to arrest her she charmed them stopping any further advancement on her, then when part of the fountain in the town square breaks off and hits her, the debris just slides right off her. She then reveals herself to be Alvida, Luffy was confused because the only Alvida she knows was fat had freckles and was ugly but the woman that said knew him was not.

"You're not Alvida" he stated.

She only smiled and said he was the only man to ever hit her gaining glares from everybody towards the boy.

"Who is the most beautiful woman on the ocean?"

"YOU ARE" all the men yelled and some women as well.

Luffy finally remembered "YOU ARE-"

"Who are you?" everyone face planted thinking he did remember though he did they didn't know that.

'Shishishishishi, Naruto-niichan was right it is fun to prank people'

He was interrupted from his little joke on everyone when Cabaji ambushes Luffy on the platform, and puts him in shackles. Buggy showed up and explained that it was his execution.

The whole commotion reached the other straw-hats and they showed up only to look in horror as the clown was about to make Luffy's head roll.

They figure tensed and watched carefully fully prepared to get there on time to get the young captain out of there.

Marine captain smoker was watching as well along with a girl wearing glasses with a sword at her side.

Meanwhile Luffy looked sad but not scared that he was about to die "Sorry Zoro, Nami, Sanji, Usopp I guess this is the end at least I fought for my dream…sorry Naruto" (I know this isn't how it happened but I wanted the crew to meet Naruto in town before getting on the ship and leaving)

When buggy's blade descended there was a lightning strike that hit the platform.

"Phew, LUCKY"

Everyone was shocked not because he survived but because as the blade came close the boy just smiled.

The figure came out of the darkness and stepped beside Luffy "Well Luffy I guess I will join your crew after all" he said.

"NARUTO"

That brought another round of disbelieving whispers but the now identified Naruto didn't care and just grabbed Luffy and dragged him towards the ship he knew to be from the Straw-hats.

The rest followed knowing by Nami's calculations that a big storm was coming soon.

They were soon met by Smoker whom tried to stop them, "I never let anyone escape me kid so just turn yourself in" Naruto knowing how strong a marine captain was specially a devil fruit user who he knew Smoker was told Sanji and Zoro to carry the other two to the ship.

"But-"

"No buts Luffy and I can handle it."

They still looked uncertain but conceded not wanting to waste precious time.

When they were out of sight he turned to Smoker "Why did you let them go?"

"Because I'm not stupid enough to leave my eyes off the Bloody fox"

Naruto Smirked "It is an honor to be known by such a high standing officer but you don't need to worry about me after all I won't be the one fighting you, Luffy on the other hand needs more experience before he heads into the grandline."

Smoker looked insulted "Are you serious kid well I guess I can take care of you after I turn in Straw-hat"

The fight began by Smoker dissolving into gracious form and trying to surround Luffy who by luck was able to escape and attempted to punch the marine.

"That ain't going to work kid I'm not some small fry"

Luffy quickly following his teachings from Naruto took some distance to think and analyze his opponent more closely.

'What do I do I can't touch him so what is there to do? What did Naruto say about Logia types?'

He remembered and tried to think of something that can go against smoke. The only thing he could think of was wind and fire but had no access to either. Smoker took Luffy's distraction and delivered a devastating punch to Luffy's gut, Luffy grabbed on quickly to a lamp post and rocked towards smoker with his hands spinning counter clockwise creaking a vent that took in Smoker's form and separated it. (Again not sure but imagination is a beauty don't you think?) It did not affect smoker the slightest but it did leave him with room to run now that he knew he was no match for the marine.

Naruto knowing what Luffy was doing followed suit and ran alongside Luffy towards the docks, when they were close Smoker tried to stop their escape but a mysterious figure helped them and they took off towards the ship that was already leaving. Luffy used his devil fruit powers to launch himself towards the mast while Naruto used his to create a black space in front of him in which he stepped in and was on board when stepping out from the other side effectively socking the crew into silence.

When Luffy gets there they let they storm guide them, while waiting for their destination Luffy came up with an idea.

"HEY GUYS COME HERE"

They came towards their captain that had a foot on a barrel.

"Let us put our feet here and Vow to our dreams as we head to the grandline!"

They thought it was a great idea and followed the Captain.

"To becoming Pirate king and find one piece"

"To Becoming the greatest Swordsman in the world"

"To make a map of the World"

"T-To become a brave Warrior of the seas"

"To Find All Blue"

They all turned to Naruto who hadn't spoken. Said blonde Smiled.

"To Getting the Best Adventure of a lifetime."

~Sometime Later~

"Yo Naruto I noticed that you carry a sword. Do you use it for decoration or do you have some skill?" asked Zoro.

"I can use it. You want to spar?" Naruto asked with a feral smile.

Zoro mirrored him and got into his signature stance. "I guess it would be a good time to try out my new swords"

Naruto got into a stance with his diagonally and a loose but strong grip with feet spread apart and his free hand loose at his side. He called this the Kitsune no ken no sutairu (or the fox sword style) he had devised it from Kurama's Own fighting style but made it uniquely his though it was still incomplete and it was not like he planned to become a sword master.

The two prepared before they charged at each other their swords clashing making a powerful force that blew things out of place. The others that did not have anything to do decided to watch the fight. When they got in a lock the two looked each other in the eye.

"Your pretty good Zoro may be better than me in sword skills"

"Thanks"

They separated and ran at each other with greater speed and strength behind their strikes, there was no clear winner after thirty minutes of continuous clashing. While the swordsmen were having fun they knew that they had to end this so they went for a final clash. As they came close they stopped immediately when they heard that there was a person floating in the water.

"We will continue this later"

Zoro nodded and followed behind Naruto as they headed towards the commotion. As it turned out the person was but a young girl. She was wearing a long mustard yellow dress. The sleeves and the bottom of the dress are maroon with mustard colored circles. She has a dark maroon sash, and has the same colored undershirt. She had blonde hair tied back in a very thin braid, and fair skin. She also has a pointy hat, white in color, and wears red shoes.

When the girl awoke from the land of dreams she came to face with a worried Nami and a grinning Luffy. She eeeeped and hid behind the orange haired girl.

Naruto laughed heartily to the little chibi's reaction to seeing his kid brother. When they calmed down the girl she said her name was Apis and was running from the Marines, which confused everyone because who would go after such a cute little kid?

"Ah, chibi-chan why are there Marines after you?" asked Naruto. That seemed to hit a sore spot and she began to cry crocodile tears at the nickname. "I know I'm short but why are you so mean about it!?"

She yelled while hugging Nami tightly, that made everyone glare at Naruto especially Nami and Sanji, "you're a bastard" looks said. Naruto sweat dropped heavily before crouching down to the little girl's level and Mumbled and apology. That didn't work so Naruto decided to do a little trick to impress the kid.

"Kid look" Apis turned and was mesmerized by what the blonde was doing. Naruto had held up his hand in thin air and out of no were a crystal necklace with a dragon design came out. (Coincidence? And to be clear he used his powers over space to open a dimensional pocket where he keeps all his stuff he doesn't want to carry around.)

'You know for a ruthless fighter and killer you are pretty soft when it comes to children'

'I know and I think it is because of how hard my life was and I do not want to wish it upon any child no matter if it would have lift my burden, but not now Kurama go back to you naps and locate that fruit already.'

"Here this my apology so please stop crying" she brighten instantly and put it around her neck.

"Ano, who are you guys?" Luffy decided to answer with another toothy grin in place.

"Well that Usopp the one with the long nose (hey!), Money lover Nami (said person hit him), Our Love-cook Sanji (shitty rubber!), Sleeping guy is Zoro (snore sounds), the guy that made you cry is my brother Naruto (ill prank you for life!), and I'm Luffy the captain!"

"Captain?"

"That's right were pirates"

She instantly got scared but when she looked at them they didn't have an air of cruelty but fun loving happiness so she relaxed and remembered that they saved her and wanted to thank them. She asked Sanji if he could her find the kitchen to make food for them, the man instantly approved. (Pedo)

At lunch time everyone gathered as usual and waited for their meals, Sanji and Apis came in with plates of food and served everyone. When they took a bite expecting Sanji's five star cuisine they were met with a horrible taste that nearly killed-not including Naruto and Luffy- them when they were gonna asked Sanji about the food they noticed Apis had a look of anticipation on her face and forcefully swallowed the food.

Apis could see the pain in their eyes and though they didn't like her food told them that they could stop pretending. Sight of relief passed through everyone and they still heard the sound of their captain eating like the endless vacuum he was, but now he was joined by his brother who was eating as well but a sedate pace.

"You guys don't have to keep eating you know" stated Nami. The two brothers stopped and stared at Nami with blank expressions.

"What are you talking about?" they both asked at the same time.

"You will only hurt yourselves if you eat more"

The two only stared a bit longer before laughing throwing everyone through a loop.

"Nami this is pretty good" said Luffy.

"I actually had worse, this better that than ero-cooks wish it was ramen though." everything was too weird for anyone to process, not even Sanji reacted to the jabs directed at him.

After the weird episode Apis told her story while still leaving out the details about Ryu. The straw-hats decided to help her get home so they set route to Warship Island.

~time skip~

The ride there was uneventful, if you don't count meeting many seakings and almost getting eaten before the monster trio plus Naruto decided to attack one sending them off, they had made it to the island without spotting a single Marine.

When they got there Apis introduced them to her grandfather Bokuden. Bokuden is an old man with gray hair and a beard. He is often seen leaning on his cane, and wears a brown tunic over a blue shirt and tan pants. He wears a pointed hat that is similar to Apis's.

He was so happy that they brought his granddaughter back that he invited them in to his house.

During the celebrity the old man told stories which put everyone but Naruto to sleep, the old man shed anime tears that someone actually put attention to his tales.

Meanwhile when everyone was distracted Apis sneaked off to the cooking food and swiped it not knowing that she was followed by a hungry Luffy and a shadow clone that Naruto sent. The girl trekked quietly until she heard some grumbling from behind her, careful not to rise suspicion she hid and waited to be followed into a clearing were she saw a person coming and nailed it with a big stump knocking the person unconscious, when she got a closer look she noticed it was the kind boy that ate her food and gave him a piece of meat before continuing on her journey never the wiser of the other person not to long behind.

Not too much later she came forward to a big old and weakened dragon, she fed him what she took and talked to the ancient being. Naruto-clone decided that it was a good time to dispel sending his memories to his creator.

When Naruto got the memories he left the others and headed to where the girl and the giant lizard were.

"So this is where you went off to" Apis was startled by the voice and turned to see Naruto casually leaning on a tree. Fearing for her friend she tried to plead for him to leave and forget that the encounter never happened.

"Hold it there I wanna help and I bet Luffy too, right little bro?"

"YEA, THIS IS SO COOL A DRAGON!"

Apis cried in happiness that someone would help her out. She told them her story and that her goal and dream was to help her friend reach home.

Luffy and Naruto shared a look.

"We'll help you take the old dragon/grandpa Ryu home" they said.

It was joyous but they had a small problem with the marines and of not knowing were the island was.

"We'll get the others they will help us"

When they others found out about the millennium dragon to say there were shocked was an understatement.

"WHERE THE HELL THIS HE COME FROM?"

"Guys were you not paying attention" asked Luffy.

"THAT'S NOT THE POINT!" they yelled back.

"Well we need to get him off the island first and to do that we will need a raft strong enough to hold him." Said Nami after getting over her shock.

The four monsters of the crew smirked and left the cave that hid the old dragon.

Naruto came forth first and attacked the trees "Fokkusu no surasshu" in a single swipe of the sword 5 trees fell.

Luffy used his gum-gum Gatling to break the trees, Sanji used kicks to break them, and Zoro used his speed and strength to cut them down all soon getting a lot of lumber to use.

They made the raft and sent Zoro and Usopp to bring the ship over. Before the others could get there, the marines that had noticed them tried to ambush them with their rifles aiming to kill the sentient being.

There were no much to handle until a man came forth with an air of arrogance "hand over the dragon and I will give you a swift death." He threaten thinking that they wouldn't be a challenge.

Naruto cleaned out his ears " So who are you weakling?"

The man did not look happy "YOU LITTLE BRAT MY NAME IS ERIC!"

"but then again what use is a name to a dead man?" he said after taking a calming breath only to turn purple with anger when he noticed that they were ignoring him.

"TAKE THIS SICKLE-SICKLE WIRLWIND" sharp wind slices raced towards them and cut Luffy and Sanji while not bothering.

"See my cutting power? With my powers I can create wind as sharp as- WAIT WHY AREN YOU HURT!?"

Everyone else seem just as shocked except Luffy who knew that Naruto was scary strong.

"Oh that? Thank you that was a nice breeze"

Everyone face planted except Luffy who was laughing his ass off and Eric who looked like a nuclear bomb ready to explode.

Nami recovered and noticed that the ship was in position "Guys get back here it's time!"

"Hai Nami-Chan!" yelled Sanji with a heart in his visible eye. "Luffy I wanted to ask. Do you like Nami?"

Luffy blushed deep red making Naruto Laugh at his find and new teasing material.

Sanji kicked and the raft when down the hill at a fast pace.

Apis was screaming all the way downhill while everyone was calmer

"NOT SO FAST YOU WILL PAY FOR EMBARRASING ME!"

Came the voice of Eric that appeared in front of them.

"Moron" mumbled Naruto before making a black hole that swallowed the attack sent at them and Luffy punched him out of the way.

The raft flew through the air and crashed into the marine mast breaking it and stopping it from moving. Zoro and Usopp couldn't believe that it worked and had their mouths below sea level.

They tied the raft to the Going Merry, "Okay now we sail to Lost Island!" exclaimed Luffy. Naruto bopped him in the head "You moron we don't know where that is" Luffy nursed his wound before saying "We'll figure it out"
