Prompt: Breakdown
Enma sat on top of Tsuna's desk with Tsuna leaned forward in his chair. His head was against Enma's chest and his arms wrapped around his waist.
"I'm sorry," Enma said, running a hand through the others hair.
"It's not your fault," Tsuna murmured. "I knew from the beginning that it was going to be like this. Clouds aren't meant to be tied down."
Enma just hummed.
They sat like that for a long while before Tsuna said, "Thank you for being here, Enma. I called you here for such a silly reason, but you made the trip anyway."
"It's not a big deal." He scratched his nails against Tsuna's scalp. "You're my best friend. I'll be here for you everytime your boyfriend decides to be an idiot."
Tsuna let out a puff of laughter. His hands tightened around Enma's waist. "You've got it worst then I do. Kyoya might travel too much, but at least he's willing to admit he loves me."
"Mmm, I've kinda stopped expecting anything from Xanxus." Enma sighed, letting his hands fall from Tsuna's hair. "This is getting depressing. We shouldn't let them get us so down."
Tsuna sighed before letting go of Enma and pushing himself up. "You're right. Lets go for cake. Byakuran showed me a good place last time he visited."
E/n: Kyoya and Tsuna are both the most and least functional relationship in all of my series. It just depends on where in the timeline I write them.
I also really love Enma and Tsuna's friendship. It's my favorite canon relationship tbh.
