I'm sorry that I can't keep up with updating one time a week, but I'm really busy with the College. I have a different exam practically every day! I want vacations!
I've already written chapter 16, but I don't know if I'll be able to translate it and upload it next week, I need to hold on a little, because I have no time to write chapter 17! Let's hope I'll get some time next Friday or Saturday…

Chapter 15 – Hide and Seek
Rin woke up with the sunlight in her eyes. She looked around and remembered she was in Gumi's house. Since the girl lived in an apartment of only one room with her boyfriend Yuuma, Rin had to sleep in the couch, so she wouldn't disturb the couple.

"Rin, what are you doing here?" half yelled Gumi when she opened her front door and found her friend together with Rei.
"I ran away from that school," answered Rin, simply.
"This is our Rin!" said Gumi, smiling, "Get in." She took a step to the side, giving them space to walk in, "What are you guys doing here?"
"So, our Darling Rin here can't go back to her house and she needs a place to stay and I think you're the least obvious person for it..." responded Rei.
"Do you want me to let Rin stay here?"
"Basically, yes, that's it."
"For how long?"
"Do you believe I don't know? I think our little friend here hasn't thought of it when she decided to run away. So, Rin, how long do you intend to be missing?" Rei asked coldly to Rin.
"Well, time enough to scare my mother. To make her forget the idea of keeping me in the boarding school."
"And how much time do you think it will take?"
"Less than a week!"
"I doubt it!" said Gumi and Rei together.
"Ah, come on, my mother can't be that persistent!"
"It's fine, I just don't want to get in trouble for it," said Gumi, sighing.
"I won't get you in trouble, if this somehow happens; I go back to my house!"

Rin sighed and stood up from the ground; she was hungry. She hasn't eaten anything since she had escaped from the boarding school the night before. Her stomach was growling. What she saw when she entered the kitchen… She couldn't tell if it was pleasing to the eyes or not: Yuuma was naked, in front of the fridge drinking a glass of milk.
Rin's face turned a deep red and she didn't know what to do. Yuuma hasn't seen her yet, so she could just turn around and leave the kitchen without making any noise, to avoid turned that moment even more embarrassing.
Her try of a stealth exit turned to be a failure when she hit a shelf with many pans on it, which made a lot of noise. Rin flinched when she heard Yuuma exclaiming in surprise.
"Oh, Rin, I forgot you are here." but he made no effort to cover his nudity.
"Uhm… Hi, Yuuma… Beautiful morning, isn't it?" answered Rin, embarrassed.
"For sure and nothing better than to drink a glass of milk in a morning like that, do you want some?"
"N-no, thanks…"
"YUUMA! You're naked! In the kitchen! In front of Rin!" yelled Gumi, entering the kitchen.
"And what's with that?" said Yumma, nonchalantly.

Len was sitting in the couch while Lola was talking with the cops. Some officers had already talked with him, but he didn't know more than Lola had told them: Rin had fought with a girl called Aoki, had been suspended from her classes and now she was missing, that was all he knew. Meiko, who was listening together with an officer to what Lola was saying kept glancing at him, as if he would send some coded message to her, but he really knew nothing.
"I'm going to talk with the boy again," he heard her saying to Lola, who nodded.
"So, Len, are you sure you know nothing?" Len simply nodded, "Really nothing?"
"Yes."
"Do you at least know what made Rin send Aoki to the hospital?"
"No… But you know how Rin is, Meiko…"
"Yes," Meiko said sighing, "Do you know Rin's friends?"
"Well, I only know Miki, who goes to the same school as me and a guy called Rei and his girlfriend, Rui. But I think you know them too."
"Hmm… Then, I think I'll go pay a visit to Rei, Miki and… Ah, yes, Gumi…"
"Gumi?" Len asked.
"You don't know her? She had been arrested with Rin sometimes, I think you can call them friends too, I guess," Meiko answered, taking note of the names in her notepad.
When they finished everything they had to do there, the officers left, leaving only Meiko behind, she explained to Lola that the Saint Cecilia boarding school had called a search team, because of that the investigations were being divided in two groups, to increase the chances of finding the girl. When Meiko was about to leave the house, she was stopped by Len.
"Miki's family hates Rin, there's a way for you to talk with her away from them? At school, maybe? So you won't get the girl in much trouble," the boy asked.
"That's what I was intending. I have more chances to get the truth like that."

After talking with Miki at school in the other Day, Meiko sent two officers to Rei's house and sent some of them to ask people around in the streets if they had seen Rin. She decided to go alone to Gumi's home. After her conversation with Miki, she had great suspicions about the house of the girl with green hair; Miki was a bad liar after all.
"Meiko? What are you doing here?" asked Gumi when she opened the door,, trying to look calm.
"Where's Rin?" asked Meiko, pushing Gumi to enter the house.
"What are you talking about? She is in that school…"
"Don't lie, Gumi! I know she's hiding here; Miki told me so."
"Miki? That idiot!"
"Haha. In truth, she hasn't told me anything, you're the one who gave it."Gumi blushed at her silliness.
"Meiko?" Rin's voice was heard from the kitchen.
"Hey girl. You're giving people a lot of trouble, huh? What happened this time?"
"I ran away."
"And when do you intend to go back?"
"I don't know." Meiko sighed.
"Okay, Rin, I'll try to cover this childish play of yours for some time if you promise me to go back home in at least one week, is that fine? If I lose my job for that, I'm going to kick your ass!"
"Thank you, Meiko. You are better than my mother!"
"Tch. I'll be going now. I have to think of a lie to pretend that you weren't here when I came," Meiko said, leaving Gumi's house and entering her car.

It has been two days that Rin was in Gumi's home and the noises coming from her room at night was getting the blonde crazy. She couldn't stop thinking about Len. Was he worried about her? Did he really have a girlfriend, that girl with black hair from the other day? She needed to talk with him, but she couldn't let anyone find her now.
Taking advantage Gumi wasn't home, she took one of the girl's dresses, who was adept of the gothic Lolita style and made a very heavy makeup (what didn't turn out to be good, since Rin didn't know how to do makeup), she tied up her hair in a bun and put on a hat. She looked at the mirror. She was ridiculous, but at least no one would recognize her.
She left the house,, looking around to make sure no one was following her or if the house was being watched and looked for the closest payphone. She dialed her house number and waited silently for someone to answer it. Lucky as she was, it was Len who got it.
"Rin?"
"hey Len, how did you know it was me?" Rin asked smiling.
"Hope. Where are you?"
"I'm sorry, but I can't tell you, Len. I have to intend to go back home now, I want to stay away some more, so my mother will change her mind about the boarding school," Rin said serious. Len stayed silent, "Len?"
"... How are you?"
"I'm fine. I lost my eyes' virginity, but I'm fine."
"Okay… Wait. What?" Rin giggled.
"Don't worry about me Len. I'm fine, I'm hiding very well and accommodated."
"Just… Come back home soon, okay? I miss you."
