A/N: I had the urge to write at midnight last night and figured I'd make it into a Teen Titans poem. Starfire is the speaker, and it's kind of a strange look at the RobStar relationship, I guess.
Devoted
Whether we are together or we are apart
I always end up with a broken heart
And yet my affection for you never ceases
Though my heart may be shattered, I love you with the pieces
You cause me much heartache; I shall not try to coat it
And yet to you I am hopelessly devoted
For the words that pass your lips are not your own
But the remains of thoughts a Bat has sown
Many would believe me insane
To allow myself to endure emotional pain
But I see you are a hazard to your own health
And I know you need someone to save you from yourself
I shall never leave you behind
Fated to meet, our destinies are intertwined
You need me just as I need you
Imperfect as it is, what we have is true
I will not abandon you, though times may be bad
They are balanced by the good times that we have had
When life seems difficult, and often it does
I will be strong for both of us
I will not stand in front of you, nor stand behind
But forever I will remain at your side
When you descend from your flight, fear nothing at all
For, my dear Robin, I will not let you fall
