AN:

For those who are wondering why Sander Cohen is alive, you can choose to kill him or spare his life back in the first Bioshock game so he is alive for plot purposes. Now that I cleared that up, stop asking why the crazy bastard's still alive. I'm getting real tired of explaining this already.

You probably already noticed it but Superboy is apparently a magnet for Big Sister crushes. The harem will just be for comic relief and it will not take a serious turn in the slightest so don't expect any drama among the Big Sisters.

Since I already made a story with both Evil and Good Eleanor, I decided to make a story about Neutral/Redeem Yourself Eleanor except this story won't happen in the Young Justice universe. Instead, it going to be a crossover with the Spectacular Spider-man cartoon. Why, you ask? Because Spider-man is my favorite Marvel superhero and the Spectacular Spider-man was one of my favorite cartoons. So expect to see the first chapter for it sometime in the future but I will be focused more on this story to update it so I won't be updating the other stories anytime soon.

P.S.

This is my longest chapter yet. :)

Chapter 20

Zeta groaned as she felt another searing pain in her head. It felt like an entire army of monsters had repeatedly hit her head with sledgehammers and then danced on it for good measu- Wait a minute… This all seemed very familiar to her.

Then it hit her, not literally of course. Monsters that she had never seen before had ambushed her and took her Sister away from the Family. She went off to confront them, ready to make them pay. But instead she found her.

Zeta immediately jumped to her feet; the urge to rip the traitor apart was stronger than ever. Fire began to pour out of her fingertips as her eyes landed on the hooded Sister.

Now that she thought about it, she noticed that the traitor wasn't wearing the standard Big Sister armor. Instead, she wore a black trench coat that reached down her knees. The sleeves of the coat were white in its place of black. She also had a grey scarf with four long grey strips trailing behind her and a white hood that covered her face in shadows. The only things that looked like it came from a Big Sister suit were the gloves and boots.

The female Protector brushed aside this detail. This Sister betrayed the Family so she doesn't deserve to wear the custom made armor and her attire was just another display of her treachery to them.

She was just about ready to lunge at the traitor with reckless abandon but something prevented her from doing this.

{Stop!} A firm and powerful voice full of authority echoed within the confines of her mind. It was so strong that it took all of Zeta's willpower to not fall to her knees but they still quivered from the effort. Her body wasn't responding to her command so she was now completely at the mercy of the treacherous Big Sister.

The traitor merely watched her from under her hood, not revealing her surprise to the Big Sister.

After it looked like Zeta wasn't capable of doing anything, the traitor hesitantly took the off her hood and showing her youthful face.

Zeta reeled back in shock at the face of her enemy. She knew the owner of the face very well despite not meeting her personally until now. Standing before her was Mother Lamb's daughter, the messiah of the Family.

Her body began to tremble in fear at the punishment for attacking the Family's savior. The reason for why the Savior was allied with the new monsters didn't matter anymore. It was suspicious though but who was she to judge the one who will bring salvation to the Family.

"Settle down, will you? I'm not going to kill you," the Savior's accented voice rebounded across the empty room.

She's not?

Siren sighed at the fearful yet confused look that the Big Sister was directing towards her. This was a delicate situation that should be handled with utmost care over her next course of actions. One small misstep could convince the Big Sister to resume their unfinished duel to the death. Then she would have to resort to use her newfound control over the Sister, which was something that she didn't wish call upon.

Taking a person's free will away from them and making them do whatever you want was what her mother would have done. That was what Mother did to father when he first died.

The pain of seeing her father forcefully die at his own hands was still fresh in the back of her mind even after all these years.

But back to the matter at hand, it seemed that this Sister was unaware of most of the Rapture Family being wiped out by her and Father thus still believed Eleanor to be their messiah. She could use this to her advantage to persuade the Sister that what she was doing was for the good of the Rapture Family and join her in her quest. But that would be underhanded and manipulative, which Siren was clearly not.

"How should I approach this matter?" she asked her Big Daddy.

Hoping to hear some advice from him, she was slightly dismayed to learn that he had none for being diplomatic was not his forte.

Wait; there was a better way to persuade the Big Sister like when she showed the Team and the two Justice League her memories.

So then began to show her memories to the Sister, not of Rapture but of the surface.

00000

After the Messiah had told Zeta that she wouldn't kill her, the Sister was relieved beyond compare. She was truly the Family's savior because of her mercy and she was just about ready to kneel down and kiss the Messiah's feet.

Then suddenly flashes of images flowed through her head. They were so many pictures to sort through for the Big Sister to make sense of it but one particular image stood out from all the rest.

It was an endless space of blue appeared before her. it wasn't the blue that she had come to recognized as the ocean. It was something else entirely and she couldn't help but lose herself to it.

There was also a giant yellow light that was somehow able to soothe her with its radiance. Though it did hurt her eyes a bit if she directly stared at it for too long.

Zeta watched as the giant light sank into the edge, disappearing from view. At first, she panicked that she would never feel the light's warmth again after seeing it vanish until the blue was replaced by darkness and exposed more lights.

These lights were tiny compared to the earlier light but they were a far greater number of them that she couldn't even begin to guess how many there were.

Both of these sights were even more beautiful than the dreamlike Rapture that she used to see when she was a Little Sister.

If what she was seeing a dream, then she didn't want it to end, however like every other dream, it soon came to a close.

No, she wanted it to last just a little longer. She shook her head and then wiped the tears that accumulated in her eyes as the scenery shifted back to the dilapidated city that they were in.

"It was breathtaking, wasn't it?" the Savior asked Zeta, snapping her out of her reverie.

The Big Sister energetically nodded her head, acting like the Little Sister that she used to be. Was what she seen a glimpse of heaven? If so, then Savior must have reached Ascension as Mother Lamb proclaimed it would be. Then that meant that the monsters that she was accompanying were not monsters at all but true Utopians for them to be graced in the holy presence of the Savior.

It did suit the mon-no, Utopian with black hair and blue eyes very well. When she remembered the handsome face of the Utopian, her face began to heat up as if it was on fire and her heart began to beat faster than ever.

At the start, she was confused as to why she was feeling these strange emotions. But after the Savior showed her visions of Heaven, it was most likely because it-he had reached Ascension just as the Savior did.

"I'm not here to lead the Rapture Family so they can take over the surface," the Savior said to her as she slowly shook her head.

But, why? Wasn't she their Messiah so why wasn't she going to lead them to raze the Sodom Above?

"The Rapture dream is over and now it's time for us to wake up."

Arcadia

Subject Sigma or preferably referred to as Charles Milton Porter shot a spear at the Houdini Splicer's head, effectively pinning his skull to the wall before it could throw a fireball at him. He walked up to the corpse to salvage anything useful along with his spear.

"Ooh, a Pep bar! Can I have it Daddy? Can I? Can I?" the Little Sister who was clinging to his shoulder eagerly asked him when she saw the chocolate-y goodie in the deceased Splicer's pockets.

Porter can't help but let out a Big Daddy's equivalent of a chuckle at the young girl. She was so innocent and full of energy so he found it difficult to deny her request. He wondered not for the first time if this was it's like to have a daughter.

At this thought, he strengthened his resolve. He was going to get this little girl out of this hell and bring her home even if it was the last thing he did. Cure be damned if otherwise.

He pulled the spear out of the wall. He then loaded his Spear Gun with the next spear in the magazine and shot at the three Leadhead Splicer who were lined up so the projectile impaled them all together. They were attempting to sneak up on Big Daddy, hoping that he would be distracted in searching the corpse.

Unfortunately for them, they were still alive but in intense pain. Hearing their cries of agony, Porter decided to put them out of their misery as flames began to pour out of his fingertips.

"Oh, marshmallows!" Actually, he was going for a Splicer-shish-ke-bob but hey, what the hell.

Now that mild obstruction was taken care of, it was time to meet up with the so-called "Justice League".

He snorted at the ridiculous name. It was kind of childish for grown men in brightly colored costumes to call themselves the Justice League. Were they perhaps related to the Justice Society of America? It's certainly a possibility.

"Uh oh, Daddy. Big Sister's here and she doesn't want you playing with me," his young charge warned. At the mere mention of his female counterpart, he tensed and prepared for a tough battle even though he didn't cure the girl yet.

"Why is the Big Sister here already? She only shows up after I rescued all of the Little Sisters in the area," he thought to himself.

The Protector was snapped out of his musings when a unidentified figure burst out of the trees and ran past him. He caught a glimpse of a black but what really caught his eye was that he couldn't see any deformation caused by ADAM. Even though he saw the figure only for a brief second, it was always easy to identify the signs of ADAM deformities. Honestly, there weren't very hard to miss.

Curiosity getting the better of him, the Big Daddy followed the trail left behind by the mysterious figure. If he didn't know any better, he could have sworn that it was another Big Daddy on a rampage from the way the tracks looked like.

He arrived to a clearing to find a boy crouching over something and carefully examining it. The boy's back was facing him but Porter could tell that the boy was aware of him from the tenseness of his muscles.

The boy turned to face him as his stance became one ready for battle. He looked to be around sixteen to seventeen but he had a rather muscular physique than most boys his age. He also had black hair and a Caucasian skin tone. His fists curled up as piercing blue eyes glared at him like he thought he could take on a Big Daddy with his bare hands.

If that boy really did think that he could face a Big Daddy unarmed then he's in for a rude awakening.

In fact, the only reason why Porter drew out his Ion Laser was the unconscious Big Sister that was lying down behind the boy. He motioned to the boy to step away from the Sister after he wordlessly told the Little Sister with him to hide at least for the time being.

The boy was most likely another un-spliced survivor that Porter would occasionally find during his exploration for supplies and Little Sisters. The Big Daddy would have to escort him to the safehouse where Tenenbaum, the former Little Sisters, and the few survivors were located after he kill this Big Sister and then meet up with the Justice League.

The boy apparently didn't understand what he was trying to convey and had a look of confusion on his face. He couldn't really fault the boy for this though since it was probably his first time encountering a Big Daddy that was attempting to communicate with him.

He pointed at the boy with his gun. Next he pointed at the Big Sister with it. Then he made a gesture with his gun to move away from her.

Before the boy could comply, the Big Sister began to stir. There wasn't enough time for the Ion Laser to be properly effective on the Sister so he quickly swapped it out with his shotgun. He then roughly pushed the boy aside so he wouldn't be caught in the crossfire. He aimed the double barrel at the porthole of the Big Sister as she was slowly rising up.

The Sister froze at the sight of the twin barrel aimed directly at her face, not believing that what she was seeing was true at first. Porter was confident that not even a Big Sister could survive a shotgun to the head at the point blank range but he loaded the gun with Solid Slugs, the strongest ammo for shotguns to be on the safe side.

"No!" the boy exclaimed. He then ran up to the Big Daddy and punched him with strength rivaling a Brute Splicer's. The blow would have sent Porter flying through the trees if he was an ordinary man but it still knocked the air out of him.

The boy must have spliced himself and quite recently at that. It was the only explanation that Porter could think of which explained the boy's surprisingly superhuman strength and unblemished features.

He didn't want to kill the apparently Splicer boy but he didn't leave him with any other options if he would willingly defend a Big Sister. With that in mind, Porter aimed his shotgun at him instead and fired the armor piercing slugs at him, making quick work of him. The blast was strong enough to knock the boy off his feet and the Big Daddy thought that was that. But he was wrong.

The boy simply stood back up like something that could effectively kill other Big Daddies and Big Sisters didn't hit him. The only evidence of him being shot was the scrap of black fabric that was previously his shirt.

Porter stared in shock at the boy's clearly durable skin, wondering where on Rapture did this boy get such a Gene Tonic to become like this in the first place.

He quickly recomposed himself and shot the boy with Winter Blast to immobilize him. The boy was immediately encased in ice. A few moments later, the ice began to crack before shattering apart.

It seemed that the boy had used his superhuman strength to break free from the ice. It made Porter wonder just how strong the young man really was.

The boy lunged at the Big Daddy with both arms raised to smash down on the tin man. The Big Daddy merely shot him in mid-air with his shotgun before he could hit him. It may not do much on him but it still prevented him from successfully attacking the Big Daddy and making him land on his back.

He lined up another shot at the boy that knocked him back as if he was punched. He then lined up another. As he was about to let loose another round on the boy, the boy grabbed the twin barrels, bending the metal barrels shut so the gun blew up in the Protector's hand. Disconcerted from the destruction of his weapon, Porter couldn't dodge his enemy's fist in time as it collided with his helmet, leaving an impression of his fist on it. Porter bludgeoned the boy with what was left of his shotgun in retaliation, fully reducing the remains to scrap.

Porter swiftly equipped his drill over his right hand and then he slammed the powerful melee weapon on his adversary's face. The Splicer boy staggered for a while before paying him back with a punch of his own that left another dent on the armor of the Big Daddy.

Porter realized that a hand-to-hand combat would not work against him so he reached out with his telekinesis and then threw whatever was in his telekinetic grip at the boy. A tree trunk crashed into the back of the black haired youth and made him fall face down on the ground.

Not giving the boy a chance to get back to his feet, Porter shot a continuous electrical arc at him. This proved to be more efficient than his other attempts if the screams of pain were anything to go by so he persisted the surge of lightning from his fingertips until he either ran out of EVE or the boy was unconscious.

Because he had placed all of his attention on the enemy that was lying in pain, he had forgotten about the Big Sister and was only reminded when two metal boots collided with the left side of his head. He stumbled back but managed to stay on his feet to face the irate Big Sister with her porthole emitting a blood-red light.

The Sister then turned to help the strange Splicer boy up, using her own body as support for him. As she glanced at the boy in her arms, the light that was emitted from her porthole suddenly changed to…pink?

If green meant friendly, yellow meant neutral, and red meant hostile, then what the blazes does pink mean?!

The unknown mood that the Sister had lasted only for a few moments before she turned her head to face him, returning to her hostile state. She then let an ungodly wail that her kind was known for.

Electricity danced around his fingers as he readied his drill. He then let loose a mighty bellow from his gullet in return to her screech.

The boy was the only one who didn't scream but he entered a somewhat unsteady fighting stance. It seemed that he was still dazed from being shocked by God knows how many volts of electricity. In spite of this, he still looked like he's capable of fighting.

Not only does he have to fight a Big Sister unprepared, he also has to fight a boy with incredible strength and endurance. Calling this a tough battle would be an understatement. There was a high chance that he was going to get killed.

Normally, dying was merely a minor diversion thanks to the Vita-chambers but ever since Porter killed Reed Wahl, the machines had started to shut down one by one, thwarting the Big Daddy from being resurrected by them. It was later revealed to them by the Thinker that Wahl had developed a countermeasure for Porter's evident immortality but it was activated too late. Well, too late for the man since Porter killed him before it fully triggered.

So if he dies now, he will stay dead.

"DADDY!"

The cry of the Little Sister that Porter was currently paired with echoed across the artificial garden. The three combatants turned to where the girl's screams originated from and without a moment to lose, they all dashed off to where she was to find a Thuggish Splicer manhandling the girl.

"Stop squirming you little brat!" the ADAM addict yelled at the still struggling Gatherer in his arm.

The boy hesitated because it looked like he didn't want the girl to get hurt but the same could not be said for the Protectors as they both charged at the Splicer, briefly forgetting that they were trying to kill each other.

The poor bastard never stood a chance against the combined might of an enraged Big Daddy and murderous Big Sister.

Siren and Zeta

Well, Siren had just crushed the hopes and dreams of her fellow Sister but luckily she replaced them with the promise of bringing her and their Sisters with them to the surface. So they eventually came to a mutual agreement or at least Siren thought that they had reached a consensus since the Big Sister abruptly became very eager to follow her around like a loyal Big Daddy.

Strange, the Sister was ready for another bout against her just moments ago but now she's like a personal bodyguard.

Eleanor supposed it did have its benefits though. They could explore the ruined city of Rapture at a leisurely pace for no Splicers had dared to attack the two Big Sisters.

Fighting a Big Sister was practically requesting a suicide by harvester to the skull and that was the case with just one Big Sister. Not even the most suicidal of Splicers would even risk crossing the incredibly deadly pair.

Eleanor had already tried experimenting with the mental connection that she shared with Big Daddies and Big Sisters and she discovered that it had a limited range, the Big Sister with her being the only one that she could reach.

That wasn't surprising really. Her control over the Little Sisters populace could only reach a certain distance before it extended to all of Rapture. So she could probably do the same with the Protectors. She just needed a bit more ADAM for her ability to evolve any further.

"Maybe Dr. Tenenbaum would have some ADAM for me," Siren though as she raised her hood to conceal her face, "The evacuation would go a lot quicker with the help of the Big Daddies and Big Sisters."

She noticed that the Big Sister was looking at her uniform with a curious expression on her face.

"Ooh?" The Sister was probably wondering why she was wearing different clothes from a Big Sister.

"The armor was pretty much a constant reminder of Rapture and I'm determined to leave it behind because of that. There are too many things here that I rather forget. I'm sure you could understand that, right?" she finished her explanation with a question directed to her companion who gave a sad nod in reply.

"That and it itches in various uncomfortable places."

The Sister couldn't help but groan in sympathy at that statement as she pulled on the cuff of her armor to lessen how unpleasantly irritated her skin was. Sure their armor represented that they're the next generation of Protectors but the Family could at least make it comfier for them to wear. Sheesh.

There was more to Siren's clothes though. There were ordinary clothes before she modified it to be extremely durable. They were completely fireproof and had a resistance to bullets of low caliber. It may not be as tough as a Big Sister's armor but it was a lot lighter, giving her more mobility. That was probably one of the reasons why her uniform wasn't as damaged as the Big Sister's since she was able to avoid most of the Big Sister's assaults.

"Oh yes, I almost forgot," Siren said as she turned to look at the Big Sister, "What should I call you? You already know who I am so it's only proper that I should know how to address you."

The English girl knew that the Sister most likely doesn't remember her own name. She herself didn't know it either until her mother told it to her.

The armored girl raised her left hand with the back of it facing her. There was a white 'Z' engraved on the metal. Eleanor instantly recognized it as the Greek letter Zeta for she was quite familiar with the Greek Alphabet with her father bearing the name "Delta".

"Alright Zeta, there's something that I want to test," Siren announced as she extended a hand towards Zeta, "Take my hand and on the count of three, teleport to this location."

She showed her a mental image of the safehouse, their current destination as Zeta took her hand. They then performed a unified teleportation.

Their aim that they both had in mind had to be exactly the same for it to work. If one of their thoughts wandered of from the other, then their bodies will be torn apart by temporal displacement or fused together into some convoluted mutation. None of these possible outcomes were pleasant to either of them so Siren had no choice but to command Zeta to think of the safehouse and only the safehouse.

The world around them vanished for a moment for it to be replaced by the place right in front of the ticket booth that was now used as a safehouse.

00000

Brigid Tenenbaum couldn't help but smile at their sudden change in fortune. At the start, they were barely scrapping by as it became harder and harder to find food and other necessities. The amount of supplies that they required increased every time Herr Porter brought back a cured Little Sister or an un-spliced survivor. So the old woman was greatly relieved to find the message that Samantha, a recent addition to the rescued Little Sisters, claimed was from Eleanor.

"I told you so," the Thinker said to her in what sounded like a smug manner. Tenenbaum rolled her eyes at the AI. For a highly advanced supercomputer with processing systems that greatly surpass practically all of the other known mainframes, it can act like a child at times. She blamed it on the personality program that Herr Porter gave to it.

"Eleanor's back!" she heard one of the girls say, barely containing her excitement over meeting their benevolent big sister figure. The girl's announcement was then followed by terrified gasps.

"Dr. Tenenbaum," a young man of Middle Eastern descent ran up to her, voice filled with urgency.

"What is it, Amir?"

"Eleanor is…she's…and," the teenager tried to explain but was unsure how, "I think you should go see for yourself doctor."

Wanting to what was all the fuss about, she went to see for herself what was wrong. When she saw what the others were worried about, she found their reactions quite understandable.

"Oh, you need to use the loo?" Tenenbaum heard a familiar feminine voice with a British ask.

"Uh."

"Then just go already. You don't need my permission to take a tinkle."

"Uh."

"You mean that you needed to ask permission from Mother to use the loo whenever you're in her presence."

"Uh."

"Wow. I knew that Mother loathed the concept of self but I kind of find that particular bit somewhat ridiculous."

"Uh."

Tenenbaum could only watch Eleanor and a helmetless Big Sister chat amongst themselves like they were the best of friends. Though, Eleanor was the one who was doing most of the talking while the Big Sister that she was with just grunted. The young Lamb somehow understood her companion.

"Oh, Dr. Tenenbaum," the British girl finally noticed the older woman as did the Big Sister (Tenenbaum tensed nervously at the vicious glare that the adolescent Sister was giving her), "I was hoping that we would find you here."

"Eleanor, would you please explain what is she doing here?" the doctor asked, referring to the Big Sister who looked like she was ready to incinerate the old woman.

"Eleanor, you're alright!" she heard Grace Holloway exclaimed as Eleanor opened her mouth to say something. Tenenbaum turned to look at the former lieutenant of Sofia Lamb. The dark-skinned either ignored the Big Sister or was too concentrated at seeing her godchild alive and well again. Considering that a Big Sister was extremely difficult to ignore, Tenenbaum opted for the latter possibility.

The woman ran to the girl so that she may embrace her. But Grace had dropped her walking cane as she ran up to meet Eleanor so she stumbled over, her old legs unable to carry her body from the sudden exertion.

Eleanor and Holloway would have both fallen over each other if the younger of the two didn't catch her godmother.

"Yes, I'm back," Eleanor said as they held each other with tears of joy pouring out from their eyes. It was truly a touching scene as the two were reunited.

"I just knew that the Tin Man would rescue you," Holloway said as she reluctantly ended their hug but still placed her hands on Eleanor's shoulder, clearly indicating to Subject Delta, "Where is the man anyway?"

"He…didn't make it…"

00000

Superboy watched as the Big Daddy and the Big Sister effortlessly ripped the poor Splicer apart. He may have wanted to stop them from killing the mutant but it would be suicidal to even try to get in between a Big Daddy and a Big Sister.

Now that distraction was taken care of, the two Protectors faced each other with portholes glowing red that reasonably radiated a promise for violence. Well at least their attention wasn't on the Kryptonian anymore so they were just going to kill each other instead.

Connor would have to intervene their battle of course. It's part of the job description of being a hero.

As he was about to jump in between them, a dark shadow beat him to it. The shadow revealed to be Batman who shot an electric cable at the Big Sister. The wails of agony filled the area as the female Protector was electrocuted with what Superboy assumed to be enough volts to take down Superman. The adolescent Sister fell to her knees after the modified Taser did its job.

The Sister struggled to get back up with the electricity taking its toll on her but Wonder Woman flew in and used both legs to kick her back down, promptly rendering her unconscious.

Well that took care of the first problem and now it's time to take care of the Big Daddy.

The young Kryptonian charged at the last Protector still standing but he was stopped by the Dark Knight's infamous glare. Even the Big Daddy seemed to pause when he took one look of it.

"Superboy, stand down," the Caped Crusader ordered him. Connor reluctantly obeyed, not really wanting to test the man's patience at the moment.

Batman then turned his unflinching scowl at the Big Daddy who regarded him with suspicion.

"Charles Milton Porter." It was more like a statement than a question but the metal giant nodded in confirmation.

"We're the Justice League and I believe that Dr. Tenenbaum informed you of us."
