I don't own Percy Jackson & the Olympians. I really, really wished I did, but I don't. Rick Riordan does, I am just borrowing his characters.

Okay so this is the second part ( there will be three parts) of the musical story, that I could only write because marooo helped me. She alsways helps me with my stories and I was kind of stuck with this one until she came with some great ideas:) Thanks marooo, I just hope you will like the way it turned out!

I also have some other ideas for this story and I wanted to ask everyone who is still reading this if you would it if I did the same thing again with different ideas. So that I have an idea and I don't just write one chapter about it, but two or three. Please tell me if you would like it or not, I just want to know before I start writing my other ideas. Enjoy!

Athena almost dropped her tray with nektar, ambrosia and the special treats her owl Blythe liked so much when she walked into her workplace and saw who exactly was in there, stroking Blythe's feathers. The last man she had anticipated to see in her workplace, her rival Poseidon.

Blythe had her eyes closed and hooted softly in understanding while Poseidon talked softly to her. He was smiling faintly while he stroked her, looking at ease like Athena rarely saw him and definitely didn't imagine seeing him like in her workplace.

Athena was surprised Blythe even allowed Poseidon to touch her and wasn't chasing him around the room, ready to kill him for intruding in her mistress' house. She normally would have done that, especially since she knew Athena didn't like Poseidon.

Blyhte was her most loyal and intelligent owl and fiercely protective. She never liked anyone until her mistress had improved of that person and even then she often didn't like a person, seeing as she believed a person should possess a number of qualities that almost no one possessed before she liked them.

She only liked people who were intelligent, kind, creative, artistic, handsome ( Blythe loved looking at beautiful things, often giving pieces of art and others a thorough examination before showing a number of toes that would be the grade of that piece of art) and humble. Which was why Athena was stunned to see her behave towards Poseidon like this.

There was a possibility Poseidon was artistic- Athena had seen him paint a few times, but he had quickly covered his paintings when he noticed she was looking. It had been one of the only times she had seen him blush and look uncomfortable- as well as creative- he certainly knew how to tell stories.

She also would admit to herself, if someone tortured her for years and made her lose most of her sanity- that he was indeed handsome, very much even. His black hair, green eyes and musculiar body were things women were attracted to.

Kind was debatable; she had seen him use females, flirt with them before bringing them into trouble and never even consider helping him, but she had also seen him help people and had seen the love in his eyes when he had looked at Sally. No one who was able to express such powerful and indescribable love with just couldn't not have a spark of kindness in him.

So he probably was atistic, creative, handsome and kind, but she would never use the words intelligent or humble to describe him. He wasn't exactly gullible, but he certainly had a limited vocubulary and the habit to use strength rather brains.

And he barely knew the definition of the word humble, much less to possess the character trait, if you asked her. Athena had known him for millenia and she knew he was proud and arrogant, not humble.

He wasn't extremely arrogant and didn't always act arrogant, but she didn't believe he was capable of humbleness. Not much of the gods were and he, one of the big three, even less. It just wasn't in his nature to be humble.

He doesn't possess the character traits or talents that would usually make Blyhte tolerate him. So why on earth does Blythe enjoy listening to the cretin's inane blabbering?

Athena walked over towards her treacherous bird and lifelong opponent, still holding on to her tray and careful to keep her expression aloof and apathetic. She didn't want the asinine arrogant fool to be aware he had startled her.

She had to resist both the urge to roll her eyes and smile when she heard him talk in a soft, awed voice. What he said was why she wanted to roll her eyes, the way he talked was why she wanted to smile. Who knew the imposing god of the sea could talk in a way that was so endearing, polite and friendly?

" So my pretty phoenix, do tell me; when does your mistress return? Because honestly, I don't like waiting in a room filled with things made by the woman who hates me" he said while stroking Blythe, which made her make a sound of appreciation.

" She is an owl, not a phoenix Poseidon. Is your intelligence really so limited that you are unable to tell the divergence between a intelligent, impressive bird species and a mythological creature that ignites itself?".

Poseidon didn't stop stroking Blythe's feathers or look at her; the only sign he had heard her, was how he suddenly tensed the slightest bit and his tone was cold instead of warm when he spoke again.

" It is a nickname Athena. I know she is an owl".

" I have never quite comprehended the purpose of using a different appellation than the one you receive at birth".

" And I have never understood why you always have to be so strict and serious".

" Because I, unlike you, am fully aware I am a grown woman and behave accordingly".

" Just because you're an adult, doesn't mean you aren't allowed to have fun. Besides, you behaved like this from the moment you were first born".

" I hardly think you can call the way I came into existence birth".

" True, but I will".

" Do as you please, I couldn't care less".

" I will".

They both didn't say anything for a few minutes, Poseidon stroking Blythe's feathers and staring off into space and Athena drinking her nektar and feeding Blythe. They both were very aware of the other's presence, even if they didn't show it.

The tense silence was broken when Blythe looked at the two of them, ruffled her feathers and flew away after giving Athena a disappointed and reprimanding glare.

Athena sighed, knowing the stubborn ways of her bird and her habit of leaving when she believed Athena had done something wrong. Athena often disagreed with her, convinced she didn't make mistakes or at least almost never made mistakes. It meant Blythe sometimes was gone for months before Athena craved.

Poseidon watched Blythe until she had flown out of the window with a curious expression. He actually looked disappointed she had left, which surprised Athena. He barely knew Blythe.

" What have I done?" he asked, looking at Athena for answers.

She didn't want to tell him she didn't have any for once. Even she didn't always comprehend Blythe; she was a very complicated creature.

She did know however, that Blythe was mad at her and not Poseidon. She had hooted a soft goodbye at her new friend and glared at Athena, so it probably was her who had done something wrong. She didn't want to tell Poseidon this though.

" Who knows? Blythe is a very proud and stubborn bird. She often gets mad without any plausible reason and only leaves to only return when you have done exactly what she desires you to do".

" Aha. And what does she wants this time?".

" I don't know. It could be anything really. Blythe assumes we are intelligent enough to discover the solution by ourselves. Obviously, she is lacking in the skill of deciphering people or she wouldn't have expected you to be attainable to this".

" Athena... could you not insult me for a few minutes? I really am not in the mood".

" I wasn't offending you, I was merely telling the truth. But if you desire me to tell blatant lies, so be it".

" You know I am not really stupid, so quit behaving like I am already".

" Oh I don't believe you are really gullible, but you most certainly aren't the brighest bulb as to speak".

" Just quit it already, you don't hear me insulting your intelligence, do you?".

" That is because I actually possess intelligence while I have long suspected you don't".

" You just admitted I do, so quit it Athena".

" I have- Blythe!"

Athena gave a startled scream when Blythe suddenly returned and used her very sharp claws to pull on Athena's hair. Athena was actually raised a few metres in the air before she managed to make Blythe let her go.

Athena turned, but before she could do anything Blythe was behind her and bit her. So hard that she drawing ichor.

Athena cursed and reached for Blythe, but she was too fast. Every time Athena tried to hit Blythe with something or threw something at her, she dodged it and attacked from the other side.

Blythe was a true genius and had known Athena for a very long time, so strategical moves didn't work either. She knew Athena too well to fall for that., she would immediately notice what Athena's plans were.

Blythe only ceased her attacks when Poseidon yelled she should stop. Blythe immediately turned towards him and started circling around him, going so fast you could only see a blur of colors.

Poseidon looked slightly weary, but Blythe just studied him for some time before humming something and sitting down on his shoulder, touching his cheek in a way that resembled a kiss.

Athena stared at her like she had suddenly changed into Typhon. Since when was her own owl conspiring against her with her nemesis?

" Blythe! Get away from that man immediately" Athena snapped, resisting the growing urge to strangle her own bird. She really didn't appreciate the fact that her own bird had just attacked her while getting all cozy with her rival.

Brythe rolled her eyes before shaking her head and giving Poseidon another 'kiss'. She obviously was very pleased with her current place, because she started hooting softly and happily.

Athena narrowed her eyes when she realized the song was; I won't say in love from Disney's Hercules. Blythe knew very well that she despised that cheap pretend of a good movie!

" Desist singing that cheap pretend of a song Blythe! You know I despise it!".

"Athena-".

She turned towards Poseidon and glared at him with so much annoyance and anger that her control wavered for a second and she accidently singed his T-shirt. She barely noticed.

" And you! How DARE you offend me this much! Poisining my loyal confidant with your utter ridicule and conspiring against me with her! I knew you were a juvenile, vexing and gullible miscreant, but I hadn't anticipated you sink this low".

" I beg your pardon? I haven't done anything Athena. It seems to me that she is mad at you. Maybe she is fed up with your snobbish behavior and is just glad she finally found someone who actually appreciates her!".

" You jerk! How dare you accuse my of such behavior! You are the one who is a peremptory, vain, gullible, inane poorly excuse of a god!".

" How dare you! I have never behaved like that before and you might be intelligent, but there is no reason that you should act like that makes you superior to others who are less intelligent! It seems to me that you are the peremptory one Athena".

" You don't even comprehend the definition of peremptory!".

" Stop acting as though I am a complete fool, because I am not! I perfectly well now peremptory means imperiouis or bossy!".

" Only because I have explained what it means!".

" No, because I have BRAINS!".

" STOP YELLING AT ME, I AM NOT DEAF NOR DO I WANT TO BE!".

" YOU STOP, YOU COLD, UNCARING, CRUEL PERSON!".

" NO YOU STOP YOU INANE, DESPICABLE, CRETINOUS, HORMONE-CONTROLLED- AH!".

Both Poseidon and Athena were surprised when some contraption fell from one of the shelves, which would have crushed Athena had she not jumped away, and caused her to collide with Poseidon's chest. They stared at each other for a few seconds- his hands on her hips and their faces so close they could both smell and feel each other's breath.

The moment was over when something else fell and made them jump apart. It was only then they noticed what had happened during their argument.

They both looked nonplussed when they noticed what their anger and argument had led to. Athena's workplace was a mess, contraption laying everywhere but where they should be, tools melted or exploded and holes in the floor from the earthquakes that had been accidently caused by Poseidon.

Athena, no longer angry, waved her hand and the tools were restored, the floors normal again and the contraption restored and on the shelves again. Then she turned to Poseidon.

" We shouldn't have allowed ourselves to let go like that. We could have destroyed the entire place".

" You're right. Sorry that I screamed at you".

" Somehow I doubt you are actually sorry".

" I am. You might have deserved it, but that doesn't mean I is right or anything. Besides, I we scared Blythe away. I really didn't want that".

" She will return, she always does. Why were you here anyway?".

" I came to get you. Practise has already started".

" Practise? What- The musical!'".

"Exactly. You remember, miss know-it-all?".

"Shut up Poseidon, I don't want to make my own work place explode again. Let's just go all right?".

" Fine with me".

They walked in silence, both lost in their own thoughts. They would occasionally glance at the other, but look away when they discovered the other was looking as well.

Athena noticed Poseidon looked at her strangely again, but didn't say anything. She didn't want to start another argument and she doubted he would even admit he had been looking at her.

Athena only opened her mouth when she saw where they would have their practise. " You. Have. To. Be. Kidding"she slowly said when she looked at the perfect, magnified replica of the colosseum in Rome. The building was roughly ten times as big as the one in Rome, looked like it had just been built and was a blinding mix of red, light blue, green and black.

It also had paintings of all the different animals of the gods- eagle, horse, owl, peacock, dove etcetera- and Athena could hear a lot of loud voice coming from the building, as well as see bright light.

Poseidon grimaced, not looking only happier then her. They silently agreed this must be one of Zeus' more insane ideas. Only he could order something like this to be build so they could have a musical.

" Afraid not. Zeus thought it would be a brilliant building to hold a musical in. There is a stage and everything inside, as well rooms for the actors and rooms to eat and relax".

" And why exactly is building a gargantuan replica of the colosseum in Rome, so all the gods can play in a musical centured on Indian culture brilliant?".

"Indian culture?".

" I have done some research. Just because I have been urged to do this and would rather eat giant alive spiders than even spend a second in this garnish building, doesn't mean I ought to be clueless".

" Figures. Let's go inside, the others are probably getting impatient".

Athena sighed and after a mumbled " I just hope this won't trigger our Roman aspects, for I have no intention to be changed into a raving lunatic" that earned her a chuckle from Poseidon, went inside.

The inside was just as strange as the inside, although it held more resemblance to a theatre than the colosseum. The rows were just like the ones in the real colosseum , except that these looked brand new and had red, fluffy pillows with hearts on them. They needed a lot pillows for that.

Athena didn't know how many people could sit here, but it could easily fit all the gods, goddesses and demi-gods that existed. The gods would even be able to sit here when they had their godly height. It was gargantuan.

In the middle of the colosseum, was a wooden stage- no doubt build by Hepheastus- with red curtains that were open and revealed various people walking around on the big stage, building things, making clothes or talking to each other. Hovering above the stage was a row of heavy lights that were changing color every few seconds, making Athena's eyes hurt slightly. She could hear Apollo's and Artemis' arguing about the lights from here.

" Apollo! Cease changing those bright lights to even brighter lights. It's annoying!".

"You're not the boss of me, little sis".

" Stop calling me little sis and I technically I am your boss, because dad told me I could make the decisions".

" Liar! You aren't atantable-like Athena would say - for that task".

" Attainable you cretin!".

" What on earth is a cretin? Can you eat it, because I aaaam hungry".

" Argh! Stop singing at random moments, it is making my ears bleed. Oh god, your singing is almost as horrible as your haiku's are".

" My little sis,

has no taste whatsoever,

and is boring".

Athena rolled her eyes and focused on the other gods in the colosseum when Artemis started cursing in Greek, calling Apollo every name she could come up with and - that was what it sounded like at least- and hitting him with music box. Apollo kept screaming and complaining about her anger issues and how she was abusing a poor music box while he ran away from her.

Ignoring the outraged Artemis and Apollo's pleas for mercy and/or help, Athena looked around. Maybe that would distract her from the slight uncomfortable feeling she had now she would have to act like she was in love with Poseidon for a few hours.

Her father and Hera were walking around, holding hands, and would occasionally stop to give someone advice or a compliment. Athena almost groaned when she saw Hera was blushing and giggling again and felt her stomach twist when Zeus and Hera shared a passionate kiss.

She quickly averted her eyes before she was forced to empty her stomach and looked at the other gods.

Ares was practising cutting people in half by swining a Sirohi ( a sword) at robots made by Hepheastus. Athena wasn't surprised to see he looked like he was having the time of his life, grinning insanely every time he cut another robot in half.

Apart from the Sirohi, he also wore a Pata ( another sword), two shields Athena recognized as the Chirwah and Tilwah and a mobile gun that he carried on his shoulder.

He was also wearing armour called silah, along with a khud ( steel headpiece) silken trousers and a pair of kashmri shawls round the waist. Most of it was in gold and it didn't only seem strong, but also expensive and like it was mde by a very talented man. Athena guessed Hephaestus had made it, for only he could make something both so beautiful and lethal.

Athena couldn't look through layers of clothing - and even if she could, didn't want to-, but she was convinced Ares wore several layers of clothing. He was covered in sweat and his movements were slightly slower and seemed to require more energy.

Athena rolled her eyes at the various battle cries coming from Ares - seriously, why was he making such ridiculous sounds- and focused on the rest of the gods. Ares was quite boring to look at, the man made rocks seem smart and they weren't even alive.

Dionysos was drinking a lot of wine, pausing every now and then to sing a few lines. Aphrodite was listening to his singing and politely declining the wine he kept offering. She actually seemed to be enjoying herself.

Athena flinced a little at his use of language, but had to admit he was a fairly good singer. Even, or especially, when drunk.

Hepheastus was working on armour- for humans, horses and elephants ( I have done some research and Akbar used elephants in his army) and weapons- swords, canons, maces ( short-handled clubs with three large round balls at the end), battle-axes, spears, bows ( especially a big, silver masterpiece was very impressive), missiles, pistoles and some other, smaller weapons. He already had a small pile of weapons laying next to him.

Demeter, Hestia and Hades were writing the script and songs, making little had to do most work. Athena felt sorry for her since Demeter and Hades kept arguing.

" Demeter, why on earth do you want to neuter prince Salim before making him swallow a strong poison that will make his death slow and painful? He isn't supposed to die!".

" He abducted that poor girl! He deserves to die, the bastard".

" He didn't abduct her! They were in love, haven't you been listening woman? And even if he had abducted her, Zeus wants everything to be as real as possible and I doubt Poseidon will be happy if we neuter him- Athena had to stiffle a laugh when Poseidon paled and took a step back- , no matter how funny that might be".

" Oh right, Poseidon is Salim".

" Who did you think played Salim?".

" You!".

" Demeter...".

" Don't look at me like that Hades! I am your mother in law, have some respect!".

"You were planning to neuter me and I have to show some respect ? I wished you were Anarkali - ".

" Oh that's nice of you, that you want me to play one of the lead roles and-".

" So I could entomb you alive in a brick wall!".

" You. Are. AWFUL. Cereal hater!".

Athena rolled her eyes when Demeter started hitting Hades with a few books about Indian culture. She really felt sorry for Hestia. And those books.

Athena's examination was interrupted when Aphrodite noticed her and started shouting and waving at her. She glared at her- still annoyed they wouldn't do Romeo and Julia-, but started walking towards her. Aphrodite probably knew what she was supposed to do.

Poseidon walked with her, narrowing his eyes when he noticed the small smile playing around her lips. He didn't like the way that smile looked- so evil.

" You are thinking about what Hades was saying, aren't you?".

" What, about neutering you, you mean?".

" Yes! That is why you are smiling, because you would like that".

" Poseidon, whatever you do with that part of your body is -luckily- none of my business. I wouldn't let Hades do that however".

" You wouldn't?".

" No".

" Why? Because - Poseidon grinned- you actually would find it unfortunate if that disappeared?".

"No. Because I would want to do it myself".

"That is just mean! Evil woman".

" Don't be such a coward Poseidon, you might actually be a better person as eunuch".

" I think I would rather die".

" But you can't".

" Still, I would rather die than be a eunuch".

" Still, you can't die".

" Well, I- "

"Poseidon, Athena! Finally, you are here" Aphrodite interrupted, smiling brightly at them and ignoring Poseidon's annoyed, angry and slightly pouty expression and Athena's grin and gleaming eyes.

She grabbed their hands and pulled them towards the stage, only letting their hands go when they had arrived. She was surprisingly strong, her grip like iron and making it impossible to escape.

Athena felt slightly apprehensive when she turned and examined them, not liking the way her eyes started to shine with misschieviousness. She didn't say anything though, just crossed her arms and glared at Aphrodite- who was pointedly ignoring her angry looks.

" All right, let's start! I- ".

" Start what exactly?" Athena interrupted, biting back a smile when Aphrodite looked very annoyed. She wouldn't allow herself such immature behavior as annoying people on purpose and smiling about it.

" Well, as you can see, we are at a stage. You and Poseidon have gotten the roles of Salem and Anarkali, the two leads. Since you and Poseidon fight a lot and still have to play young people that are in love, you should practise being an item".

" A what?" a confused Poseidon asked.

" An item, it's-". " She means a couple. You know, when a man and a woman have a relationship?" Athena, bored by the conversation already, interrupted. She feared Aphrodite would start a lengthy explanation.

Both Aphrodite and Poseidon looked very surprised that she knew this.

" How do you know that?".

" I am the goddess of knowledge Poseidon, I know many things".

Before Poseidon could say anything, Aphrodite started talking in a rushed, enthusiastic voice. Athena had rarely seen her smile this broadly.

" All right, that is that. So like I was saying; you need to get used to being a couple - we aren't a couple! Poseidon and Athena said at the same time- , so you need to spend time after practise as well. Nothing extravagant, just drink something and talk. During practise, you just have to play the scenes and try not to kill each other. The script isn't done yet, but we already have some scenes for you two, because you have the lead roles. I have got them somewhere in my purse- I will get them in a moment- and I would advise to especially practise the kiss scene. You can just practise in your normal clothes, we will only wear our costumes during a few selected practises, not now yet. The songs aren't ready yet, but it might occur that I pop by and ask you to sing a few lines so you can practise your voice. Now, I will leave you alone to practise, but I will keep an eye on you, so you really have to practise".

Before Athena or Poseidon could say anything more, Aphrodite had pushed their lines in their hands and was gone. They looked at each other uncertainly before shrugging and starting their practise. They didn't doubt Aphrodite would make things really uncomfortable for them if they didn't practise.

Everything went fairly well until they came to the kiss scene. They just stared at each other for a few minutes before hesitantly taking a step forward.

When one of the elephants suddenly went wild because a mouse ran over its feet, they were slightly relieved but also surprised. When they were interrupted a second time- because someone accidently shot an arrow towards them-, they were the slightest bit suspicious. Where had that mouse come from?

When they were interrupted again- this time because you could suddenly hear the song 'we will rock you' really loud-, they looked around to see if someone was trying to stop them. Both of them wouldn't put it pass Zeus to do that. Or Artemis, who had been glaring at Poseidon now she was calm -more or less- again.

When they didn't see the culprit, they shrugged and leant towards each other again. They came closer and closer, their lips almost touching, their hearts beating eratically, their warm breath mixing... and then you could hear a loud CRACK and the ground beneath them disappeared.

Athena gasped in slight pain and shock when she landed hard on Poseidon, the fall knocking the air out of her grunted when she basically crushed him, landing hard on him and making him feel like someone had hit him in his stomach.

They lay like that for a few minutes; not talking, not moving while they gathered their thoughts and tried to breathe normally again. They only moved when they could breathe again.

Athena turned her head to ask Poseidon was all right and promptly felt the air leave her lungs again. She swallowed nervously, her stomach twisting again but for a different reason when she looked into those beautiful green eyes. She hadn't realized how close they were.

Poseidon had a similiar reaction when he lifted his head slightly and suddenly was inches of a very flustered and breathless Athena. He froze, much like she had, when he realized they were on top of each other, their lips touching slightly and their somewhat ragged breathing mixed, so he didn't only taste his own lunch but hers as well.

They lay for that for a few minutes; neither daring to move or speak, unsure what they were feeling and what the other was feeling, before one of them - it could be Poseidon, it could be Athena- pressed his/hers lips more firmly against the other pair and they shared a sweet, light kiss.

Athena sighed softly, relaxing, and was about to deepen the kiss when a strange sound made her seperate their lips and look up. She knew someone was after them when she saw what caused it.

They moved just in time to avoid getting pulverized by a projecter that had been secured and safe just a moment ago. It landed with a loud BANG and made a small hole on the place they had just been.

They rolled over the ground for a moment before finally laying still again, Poseidon this time on top of Athena. She winced slightly when his body landed on hers and he pushed himself up, hovering above her.

" Are you all-" he interrupted himself, his expression blank when he stared down at him. It might be the first time since she had known him that Athena couldn't read his expression.

She was covered in dust, had just barely avoided being crushed by a very heavy projector and had had another body falling on top of her, but that wasn't why she felt like she couldn't breathe and why her heart almost jumped out of her chest. She had just.. never ... been this close to him before.

She had never realized how his eyes were the best shade of green, the shade of the sea, and reflected his every thought and emotion. She had never realized how his breath didn't smell like fish- like she had told him- but like a heavengly mix of nektar and ambrosia, with only the slightest trace of fish. And she had never ever realized how amazing, dizzying and irresistable his salty, slightly spicy scent was. How could she have missed that? She had sit next to him on occasion, so how couldn't she had noticed?

Athena just studied him for a few heartbeats, noticing all the things she had never before and using them to create a new image of him before breaking the silence that was starting to make her feel uncomfortable.

" Your breath.. - she paused to lick her lips and felt the last bit of air leave her lungs when his eyes focused on her lips- doesn't smell like fish".

He looked confused for a moment before smiling brightly and looking at her with wonder and amusement. She could read him again.

" I know " he simply said before leaning down and capturing her lips in his, words no longer needed as first lips, then tongues met and he showed her just how good a simply kiss could make her feel.

Athena ignored her protesting lugs -she was a goddess, she could survive a little oxygen deprivation- and eagerly kissed him back, revelling in the wonderful sensations this brought her.

For possibly the first time in her existence her head was completely devoid of any thought as she and Poseidon shared a sweet, wonderful, passionate kiss.

She didn't care she was kissing her enemy, didn't care she was doing something she had sworn not to, didn't care how much trouble this would get them in if he would just continue kissing her and making her moan softly, making her want more, making her... embarressed when they suddenly heard a lot of whistling and laughter.

Reluctantly, they broke the kiss and Athena truly wanted to die when she looked up and saw Aphrodite, Apollo and Hermes looking down at them with huge grins on their faces. Especially Aphrodite was grinning brightly; her mouth was pulled in such a big grin that Athena was surprised her face didn't break or something.

" Well done dear uncle, kissing our Athena" Apollo screamed, doubling over with laughter. His black eye and torn clothes didn't seem to bother him much, just like Athena's glare didn't seem to bother him. Hermes and Aphrodite didn't say anything, but they were grinning and the look in Hermes' eyes made Athena slightly disappointed they couldn't die. She couldn't kill him to avoid anymore embarressment.

Hermes and Apollo helped them to their feet and out of the hole they had fallen in, to bring them to Aphrodite and the two culprits; a guilty looking Annabeth and Percy.

" Annabeth?".

" Percy?".

" What are you doing here?" Poseidon and Athena said at the same moment, ignoring this entirely. Percy and Annabeth looked even guiltier when they saw their parent's annoyed and slightly angry expressions. They obviously didn't like the 'surprise'.

Annabeth sighed, glaring at Percy in a way that made it clear he shouldn't say anything and ruin it even more, before starting to explain.

" Well, lord Zeus visited camp yesterday to inform us all that you would have a musical and we were all invited to watch in a few weeks. We didn't think much of it until we heard what the story was and who exactly had gotten the lead roles".

"Yeah we didn't want you to be an item" Percy cut in,earning him another glare from Annabeth.

" Anyway, like I was saying before Percy interrupted, we decided we couldn't allow the two of you to kiss, so we came here and tried to stop the kiss. Which worked until you both - she glared at Percy who smiled sheepishly- fell instead of one of you and landed on top of each other".

Athena and Poseidon shared a few looks, both thinking along the same lines. Firstly, they were very annoyed their kiss had been interrupted. Secondly; they were very glad their kiss had been interrupted, because that led to a real, passionate kiss. And thirdly; their children didn't make any sense.

Athena stepped forward- glaring at Poseidon in much the same way Annabeth had at Percy, and arched one of her eyebrows.

"Let me get this straight. You two came to Olympus, frightened an elephant that could have pulverized someone, shot an arrow at us that could have hit us and almost pulverized us with a projector just because you thought we would become a couple if we had to share one little, lousy kiss".

" Hey! My kisses aren't lousy".

"Poseidon...".

" Really, I didn't hear you complain just minutes ago".

" That might be because your tongue prevented me from doing so".

" Athena...".

" Relax already, I didn't mean your kisses are lousy, I just meant we wouldn't have shared a real kiss if they hadn't made us fall, literally".

" And why not?".

" Because we would have reluctantly shared a perk on the lips and pulled back immediately if everyone could see us".

" You might have a point".

" I know. Now what are we going to do with our disobedient children?".

" Let us go, because we have already been scarred for life after seeing you two kiss like that?" Percy suggested, making Annabeth glare at him again. She obviously though that was a very stupid suggestion.

" I don't think it was that bad" Poseidon said, grinning. Percy and Annabeth looked both like they disagreed very much with him.

Athena didn't say anything for a short time, just thinking, before her eye fell on Hera and Zeus and she remembered their passionate kiss. She hadn't liked that.

" Actually.." she started, making Percy look faintly hopeful, Poseidon surprised and Annabeth weary. " it was that bad".

"Why do you think so?"Poseidon asked. He looked slightly offended, which made her have to stiffle a giggle. He actually looked cute.

She pointed at Hera and Zeus who were sitting close together and feeding each other ambrosia. She didn't know whether she felt freaked out, nauseous or just afraid by their behavior. She settled for mainly being disgusted and annoyed.

Poseidon understood immediately though. With a slight shudder, he looked away from his brother and nodded at her.

" I see what you mean. So we let them go?".

" We let them go".

Athena did reprimand Annabeth, saying she shouldn't use invisibility potions to spy on her mother and try to pulverise said mother to avoid her kissing someone- even when she was immortal- , but let her go after that.

Poseidon said he didn't appreciate Percy spying on them ,but that he could hardly be mad, because they probably hadn't intended any harm. He also asked him to interrupted Zeus' kiss the next time, jokingly saying that was really repulsive.

Athena and Poseidon got along famously during the next practises. It had been a bit uncomfortable at first, but they had quickly decided Aphrodite might have had a point when she had insisted their arguing was just their repressed feelings for each other and started dating. Playing a couple in love was suddenly a lot easier, although there were a few complaints when they kissed when they shouldn't.
