Okay, so it didn't take too long to write cause I was in the zone, but I'm wondering right now where and how RWBY season 1 will end...as previously stated one more chapter based on the episodes, then an epilogue and I will go on hiatus till December. This has been really fun, and I thank you all for your support all the way.

The Festival

Knives walked around the city beaming with pride. The Festival was the one time that everyone in Vale came together to make the city a jewel to the world. It was one of the few times that everyone had a bed in 103. He would have to visit there later on today to see Cyan and Caden to see how they were doing. Luxus, Deverou, and Caradin were right behind it was one of the few times Caradin didn't have his coffin with him. "So, Weiss and the others were supposed to be down here right? I don't want to wander around for hours trying to find them." Caradin inquired.

"She said they would be at the docks…I wonder where they could…" As Deverou said this, a monkey Faunus jumped the fence next to them and took off past them.

"Holy crap that guy can run!" Caradin said.

"Stop him!" yelled a detective as he finally got himself over the fence.

His partner hopped the fence much faster and took off after the Faunus as his partner caught his breath and started running. "What was that all about?" Luxus asked.

"I'm gonna guess he broke the law." Knives added.

"Well that was rather obvious…I guess we should go find Weiss and the others."

It didn't take long to locate Weiss' shrill voice as she was ranting again, this time at Blake. "Deverou, defuse." Caradin muttered.

He walked up to her, "Lady Weiss…"

"WHAT!?" She yelled wheeling around her face redder than Ruby's cloak.

He was taken aback as was everyone else, and before Deverou could say anything Blake interjected, "See there you go again, getting mad at all the wrong people."

"What, you are defending the White Fang, Deverou just…caught me at the wrong time."

"And what if he happened to think the White Fang is just misunderstood or that they have a reason for doing what they do."

Weiss wheeled on Deverou, "Well? What is it?"

"Um…I believe…" He looked at his group for support.

"That we shouldn't be fighting like this, Knives had an idea that we should all go somewhere isn't that right Knives?" Luxus added looking to him.

He had to think about it so he looked at Ruby and Yang with the strange newcomer by their side. "I was thinking we'd go get some Ice cream and then head to the Industrial Sector's District 103…I think it would be good to show our friend there Vale's industrious spirit."

"Oh yes quite!" She exclaimed, "I have heard that you make some very unique weapons here in Vale and that the Industrial Sector is quite vast…why 103?"

"Yes why?" Weiss added, "District 103 is known as one of the most vile nesting grounds for criminals…I wouldn't be surprised if we run into the Faunus from before hiding out there."

"There you go again," Blake yelled, "What gives you the right to judge people like that."

"Hey, it's alright," Knives added, "We can go to a different area…I just had some friends I wanted to check up on."

"Friends!? Why would you have friends in that destitute place?" Weiss asked.

"Oh, that's because Knives grew up there." Ruby added.

In that instance, Knives felt his inside become heavy and cold as he regretted ever telling Ruby about himself as the look Weiss gave him was one of pure hatred; before composing herself. "I see…Ice cream will be fine, and then we will go our separate ways."

They found a nice place to eat and did so in moderate silence. Blake and Weiss refused to speak, and Knives remained silent out of fear. Luxus talked to the new girl, Caradin showed off for all the girls, and Deverou engaged her in discussing the customs of where she was from. Afterwards they split up, with Penny as she was called, joining them to head to the district.

It was getting late and they would have to make it quick, so Knives showed them to the one factory he knew about where they were still making things this late. The hiss of stream and pounding of hammers and machines as white hot pieces of metal were fashioned into anything from household pieces to much more…festive pieces. She beamed at the whole process and Caradin volunteered to find her a place to stay while the others went back to Beacon, hoping the situation had defused. Caradin arrived shortly after them with a bottle of sparkling grape juice. He grinned, "They didn't seem like drinkers so I got something lightweight."

Deverou sighed, "Let's just hope it does indeed defuse Lady Weiss."

Luxus nodded in agreement and they headed out to their room only to see the door burst open and Blake take off running. They walked up slowly and saw the situation had most definitely escalated. "Um…Lady Weiss?" He said gesturing to the grape juice in his hand.

She huffed and motioned for him to pour everyone a glass. "Shouldn't we go get Blake to come back so she can have some too?" Knives asked.

"Why? That dog of the White Fang would just poison mine anyway! That's how they wage their war against us…they won't stop till we're all dead."

"What!?" Deverou said turning towards the door to pursue her before Caradin planted a hand on his chest.

"I don't think so…she is your teammate…no matter how stuck up you may be I don't think she'd murder you…she may have been in the White Fang but she doesn't seem like that kind of girl."

"That's who they ARE!? They are murderers, liars, and thieves!"

"That's overly critical don't you think?" Knives asked.

"And who are you to judge!?" Weiss snapped, "I heard what Ruby call you earlier…Knives…not Alex, not Alexander, Knives…I thought I had heard that name somewhere before…Bloody Knives…the assassin…so tell me, what is a murderer like you doing defending a radical like her?"

"Look, it's in the past, I came to Beacon to become better…it was either here or jail and at the time I took my chances here…I wasn't allowed to enroll because I didn't fit the age requirements and I was…different…so I trained here and then I enrolled same time as the rest of you. I was bitter at first, but now…I'm better…not as angry and brash."

"But a murderer is still a murderer. Did you ever think about those people you killed? The people whose families you left all alone. You will never understand their sorrow!"

Everyone looked at him in a mixture of pity and fear as Weiss glared at him in anger. He just smiled, holding back the tears, "No I guess I didn't…but I would be lying if I said I didn't regret it all…if you'll excuse me…" He turned to leave and what Weiss said next was the last straw.

"You should be locked up for what you've done…or at least sent off to fight the Grim until either you die or they do."

He remembered Cain, "You will be conditioned…trained and augmented all for the sake of fighting Grim…you will be the ultimate weapon when I am done with you…just don't break before we're done…I would hate to have to throw you aside like the others."

That was it, "Who the HELL are you to judge me!? You think you're so perfect and special because you haven't had to wallow in filth? You think that since daddy didn't love you or because he yelled that you can be stuck up and rotten? PEOPLE DIE PRINCESS! Ask your bodyguard…your father is not a victim and neither are you…for there to be war there have to be two sides fighting…the Schnee's lapdogs have been wiping people out. The Tenebrous are no better than I am…they're assassins too…and don't think for a second we are different. You all have no idea what I lived through…boohoo, daddy's mean to me, TOUGH SHIT! I didn't get that luxury…my father was gone before I was born and my mother, the few times she was sober, was all I had. You don't get to complain…none of you! Living your lives of privilege…I did what I had to in order to survive. So forgive me if I made the wrong choice, but don't EVER think that privilege gives you the right to judge. You don't know me…none of you know me…so FUCK YOU WEISS!" He said as he gave her the middle finger and stormed off.

Weiss stood there at a loss for words as Ruby shrunk away in fear. Yang sighed in exasperation with Caradin while Deverou shook silently with rage. Luxus surveyed the room and just didn't know what to do…so he left.

Luxus walked down to the docks where this all started and just sighed, slumping to the ground. He heard a small yelp and a fruit rolled over to him. He picked it up and turned around to see someone carrying a crate, "Sorry about that…too many in the box…"

His face was a mask of shock and awe. Before him she stood; her tanned skin from work in the sun, her worn face and hands from a life of labor and worry, her flowing silvery hair and light purple eyes. He began to cry silently and she cocked her head. "Are…are you okay?

"Lilith?"

"Um…how do you know my name?"

"Lilith…it's me…" He stood and removed his hat, his hair flowing out; she looked into his purple eyes and dropped the crate raising her hand to her mouth.

"Luxus…big brother?"

He dove at her and hugged her tightly the tears flowing freely. "I looked…for so long…dad said…he…"

She hiccupped and smiled, "He's an asshole…how are you?"

"Ok…I've…I've missed you both so much…where is mother, is she okay?"

"She's fine…she's working in a Dust Shop stocking shelves…but with the latest attacks she's on paid vacation…"

"That's…that's great to hear…can…can I see her?"

"Yeah…let's go…"

*Knives*

Knives stormed off towards 103 angrily, he had one goal in mind and one goal only…find Cyan. It didn't take long as he was still in his shack of a house despite the others leaving to go to the shelters. "Well, well…woah…"

Knives fixed him with the look of deepest rage and Cyan smiled, "You've found it…that inner fight that you've been denying…so…what can I help you with?"

"I want to fight…fists only, no aura…I want to get stronger…"

"Alright then" He dropped into a stance. "Come then."
