After Muncy and Churlish told Abby, that the two Canadian guys, who assaulted her, are in custody, they headed to a local bar to get some drinks.

They talked about the case and work, but kept it mostly professional, not mentioning a lot of personal information. The whole time they were drinking, Muncy had this weird feeling, like someone was watching her, but she told herself she was just being paranoid and ignored the feeling. It got quite late so they decided it was time to head home.

'I'm home!' Muncy called out to Teddy.

'Hey!' Teddy called out to her from the living room.

She went to the fridge, grabbed a beer bottle, and sat next to her brother on the couch. He was watching a football game, but when she got on the couch he turned the volume down and he turned to her.

'So I was thinking, after this stressful day, maybe you could take a day off tomorrow and we could hang out.' Teddy suggested.

'That sounds great! Let me ask Benson if she's okay with that.' She replied to him with a smile on her face taking her phone out of her pocket and messaging Benson.

It didn't take long for Benson to reply. She told her that it wouldn't be a problem and to enjoy her day off.

By the time the game was over, Muncy was half asleep on the couch. She was so exhausted from that day, emotionally and physically, that she couldn't bother to get up. Teddy carried her into her bedroom, laying her on the bed and putting her favorite blanket on her.

'Goodnight Gracie.' He whispered to her before he left her bedroom.

The next morning Muncy woke up earlier than usual, she took a shower and then decided to make breakfast for her and Teddy. It wasn't just normal breakfast thought, it was their favorite breakfast, that their mom used to make for them when they were kids.

As she was setting the plates on the table Teddy walked into the kitchen. 'Wow, it smells so good in here!' He said while sitting down at the table.

Muncy just smiled at the comment.

'So what do you want to do today?' She asked him while making coffee for both of them.

'I was thinking, maybe we could go visit mom's grave and bring her some flowers and then we could go to the mall and do some shopping and watch a movie.' He replied.

'That sound's good!' She said as she handed him his coffee and sat down, ready to eat her breakfast.

"Mmmmm, it's amazing!' He noted making his sister smile again.

They finished eating breakfast talking about many topics including Muncy's partner, Velasco. Teddy couldn't help but tease her about him. While he was helping them on the case, he couldn't help but notice, the way they look at each other. She just blew him off saying he was imagining things. 'We're just partners.' She added.

They went to their rooms to get ready and soon after that, they left the house in Teddy's car. As Teddy suggested earlier, they followed his plan. They bought flowers for their mom and took them to her grave.

'We both miss you so much.' Muncy whispered while putting the flowers into a stone vase that was built into the grave. A few tears escaped her eyes.

'Come here.' Teddy said, opening his arm to give his big sister a hug.

'I love you... I was so scared I was gonna lose you.' She whispered into her brother's shoulder while he was hugging her.

'I love you too, Gracie. And I'm not going anywhere don't worry.' He reassured her squeezing her tighter. 'Let's go, so we'll have enough time for everything.' He added.

They had a lot of fun shopping and both of them bought some new pieces for their closeth.

'So what movie do you wanna watch?' Teddy asked her while they were looking at the options.

'I have no idea,' Muncy said as her phone started ringing, it was Velasco. 'You can pick something.' She said before she picked up the call.

'Hey, I was just wondering if everything's okay since you weren't at work today.' He sounded a bit worried.

'Yeah, everything's good. I just took a day off to spend some time with Teddy. I will be back at work tomorrow.' She replied.

'Okay, glad to hear that. Hope you enjoyed your day off.' He said.

'I did.' She said. 'I'm sorry but I have to go, I think the movie is starting.' She said and they both said their goodbyes.

When they got home it was pretty late, they were both full from all the popcorn they ate at the cinema so they decided to skip dinner and head to bed.

Muncy forgot to set her alarm and woke up quite late. She messaged Velasco that she overslept and that she'd be late to work and then she headed to the bathroom to get ready.

As she was about to leave the house she realized she left her car at work, so she had to take the metro, which she hated.

When she finally got to work, there was a donut and a coffee on her table. She smiled at the nice gesture and sat down.

'Hello, cowgirl." She heard from behind her.

'Morning, Velasco.' She smilled at him.

She took a bite of the donut and looked at Velasco, who was looking at her while sitting down at his table.

'Thank you.' She said pointing to the donut 'It's so yuuuumi.' She said while chewing the bite.

He couldn't help but giggle. She looked so funny eating the donut.

That day went pretty fast for them, there was no new case. They just did all their paperwork. And of course, it wouldn't be a normal day at SVU for Muncy if she wouldn't go visit her one and only vending machine. But while she was getting cashews, her hand got stuck in it. Velasco was there and he couldn't help but laugh about it.

'Wow, so funny." She said sarcastically.

'You don't even know how much.' He said still not being able to stop laughing.

'What's so funny?' Bruno asked walking into the breakroom.

'Nothing.' Muncy said, still trying to get her hand out not letting go of the cashews.

Before anyone else could say anything Muncy finally got her hand out.

'Finally!' She exclaimed, raising her hand with cashews above her head.

'Great job!' Velasco was now dying laughing from all of it.

Bruno was completely stunned by what he had just witnessed not being able to move or say anything.

After that, they did some more paperwork until the shift was over. Bruno asked Muncy, Velasco and Churlish if they wanted to join him and Fin and go to a bar with them.

'Yeah sure, why not.' said Muncy and velasco just noded in agreement.

'Sorry, I can't. Promised a friend to join them for a drink.' Churlish apologized.

At the bar, they had a lot of fun drinking, chatting and mostly laughing about everything. That night Muncy went to bed happy about the day she had, realizing how close she was starting to get with her new squad.
