HAHAAAAAAA!*flies out window*

~~Aurea's Dream~~

A golden haired woman sat atop a sunset pink cloud as her pale body was clad in a pure-white dress that hung loosely around her. Her knees were hidden in the fold of her dress and two white wings rested on her back. Her golden, tinged with pale pink and blue, eyes drifted to the side, catching onto a small pile of deep, grey clouds, as if she was waiting for something to happen to them. When nothing occurred, her eyes drifted back towards the cloud she held in her lap. The cloud was a paler shade of grey than the pile, and it seemed to move around on its own, as if it was deciding whether to stay in this child's lap or dash away. The woman's hands that wrapped themselves around the small cloud, and the grey seemed to fade and turn into a bright white, with a tint of gold. The girl smiled as the change occurred, and her eyes glistened in anticipation as they waited to see the outcome. Then, just as it started, the cloud stopped changing, and was replaced with a deeper red color and dissipated from her hands. She gave a gasp of shock, which soon turned into a cry of disappointment as the colors faded away. She looked back to the pile of dark clouds with a look of sadness, but her expression turned to content as many of the clouds turned golden and floated into the air, causing the pile to greatly diminish in size. Her eyes drifted back to her now empty hands, and smiled at her palms, remembering the lowly cloud.

"Thank you for all the hard work you've given. You truly helped all of the people around you." she whispered to the cloud's memory.

The girl than stood up and started to walk towards the pile of dark clouds, seemingly tired, and reached out to pick one up. Though, before she could do anything, a light flashed behind her, stopping her in her tracks. She smiled widely before turning on her heel and facing the figure that had just emerged from the shining light.

"Hello Leo, it's nice to see you again." the woman said, smiling.

"It's been a while." the celestial spirit replied.

The woman nodded, "So, what brings you here?"

"Come with me, I need to show you something." Leo replied, causing the woman to nod and follow him through a golden portal.

Deep purple mist then clouded the area and a different scene appeared. All that could be seen was two arms, one clad in a white sleeve, the other in a pure black fabric that wrapped around its arm like a snake. The hands at each of the ends neared each other, as if they were about to clasp together.

"For the good of this unfortunate world, I will not hesitate." two voices rang out, one being the voice of the woman seen before.

The hands that clasped together, and all that could be seen was white. Then the center of the white partially cleared, and all that could be seen was the head of a white dragon, with a beautiful meadow in the background. The golden eyes on the dragon seemed to hold kindness and care. A small hand, one of a young babe, reached out towards the dragon, as if it was trying to take hold of the lingering image. The dragon's eyes softened as it brought its head forward and brushed against the hand softly. A soft voice than rang out, ass if the dragon was speaking to the child, but its mouth never moved.

"Stay pure, my precious child." the motherly voice rang out, and the world faded from view.

Aurea shot up as she awoke from her sleep. Her arm shot out in front of her, as if she was grasping for that lingering image of the pure-white dragon.

"Don't go…" she whispered, her eyes clouded over in a trance.

She quickly shook her head, causing her eyes to return to their normal gleam, but a lingering sadness was now apparent in them. Questions ran through her mind, but the first thing she did was look at her reflection in the window, focusing on that small patch of hair that had turned pale blonde, like the woman's in her dream. Her mind drifted to the dragon she had seen in the end of her dream, and her eyes were pricked by small tears, but she didn't know why. She swiftly brushed the tears away from her face and grasped the necklace that still hung around her neck. She brought it up and peered at the golden base, which was slightly glowing and very warm at the moment. She held it close to her chest and it brought up the image of the dragon once more, but the image was fading.

Quickly, Aurea leapt up and ran over to Lucy's supplies, grabbing a piece of paper and a pencil, the then closed her eyes and let the pencil run across the paper, her mind drawing the picture for her. The pencil soon slowed and stopped, signaling the picture was complete. Aurea opened her eyes and gazed down at the image she was so desperate not to forget. It was almost the exact same, but something was different, wrong. With closer inspection on the picture, Aurea saw that the background had changed; it was no longer a beautiful meadow, but raging fire and smoke that rose into the air, but the dragon was in the same position. Though, Aurea could see a slight tinge of sadness, and regret in the creature's eyes. She looked at the picture a moment more, before folding it up and placing it in one of the pockets of her shorts.

Satisfied, she looked around the room, observing it fully for the first time that day. Kai was sprawled out on the couch, a blue blanket draped over his torso, his legs stretched out below it. One leg was half-way off of the cushions, whilst the other was in what seemed to be a very awkward position away from his body. One of his arms hung off of the couch and the other was placed on his eyes, so the only thing that could be seen was his messy hair and his mouth; which was half-open and slightly dripping with drool. Aurea tip-toed into Lucy's room, only to see she was still asleep as well, along with Natsu and Happy on the other side of the bed. She looked out the window to see that the sun hadn't even completely risen, and was displaying an array of golden colors across the horizon. This was obviously the reason no one was awake yet.

Not wanting to go back to sleep, Aurea walked into the kitchen to make breakfast for everyone. As she started to search the cabinets for more pancake batter, she was stopped by a knock on the door. Curious, Aurea stopped her venture and walked towards the apartment door, not knowing who was here. At her old village, she had never needed to know the rule of 'stranger danger', none of the citizens did. The place was far enough away that everyone knew each other, and treated each other like family. Remembering this, she grasped the doorknob, and slowly opened the door that Lucy had forgotten to lock that night. She looked up to see silver armor over a blue skirt with red hair draped over the shoulder-blades and dark brown eyes that held a great sense of authority. It was Erza, with a slightly surprised face when she saw who opened the door.

"Hi Erza!" Aurea exclaimed happily.

"Hello Aurea, where's Lucy?" Erza asked, wondering why a YOUNG CHILD was OPENING the DOOR.

"Oh, Lucy, Kai, Happy, and Natsu are all still asleep, but you can come on in because I was just about to make breakfast for everyone!" Aurea replied, grabbing onto Erza's wrist and pulling her inside to the kitchen before searching the cabinets once more for pancake mix.

Erza just watched as the girl grabbed the pancake mix from the drawer and started to create the fluffy delights. She wondered why Aurea was making breakfast, and more importantly why she mentioned Natsu, and even more importantly, why she was up this early. So, she asked the simplest questions first.

"Why are you up so early, and why are you making breakfast for everyone?" she questioned.

"Oh, I had this really weird dream, and I don't really want to go back to sleep. And I make breakfast for everyone because I can...!" she paused for a moment, remembering her last day at her village,[You can imagine the Black Butler sad-ish monologue music during this part...or not] "Plus, the only time I got to make stuff for everyone before, was on the last day I lived at my old home. My parents were a bit angry at first, but they looked really happy while they ate the food! I like seeing people happy… my mommy was crying right before my home got destroyed… I didn't like seeing her like that. I don't like seeing anyone like that…" she trailed off, concentrating on her pancakes so to not show any sign of sadness.

"Actually, Aurea, You wouldn't mind explaining what really happened… to your home… before you got to Fairy Tail, would you?" Erza asked carefully, knowing how hard it was to remember her own past at her mature age.

"Didn't Kai explain everything to you guys?" Aurea asked, confused.

Erza shook her head, "He only stated that both of your homes were destroyed, and your families were… dead, but nothing more."

"Oh," Aurea sighed, becoming more and more interested in her pancakes, "no… I guess I don't mind. You deserve to know anyway…"

And with that, she began to explain her story, from the breakfast she had that morning, to her first meeting with Kai. She was completely open with Erza, explaining everything that had happened. She concentrated on making the pancakes to prevent the tears that threatened to spill from her eyes. Soon enough, she had made enough to feed three elephants, or five people and one Natsu.

"… and then I woke up in Fairy Tail, and you know the rest." she finished, the kitchen now cleaned up from her creation of breakfast.

Erza just nodded, unsure of what to say, but just thinking over what had happened not too long ago, with a joyful light mage as the main character in the tragic tale.

Unknowing to them, three people and one cat was listening to the whole thing.
