Technically takes place same day as the last chapter, but it focuses on the people we didn't see after Knives had his whole blood rage due to the death of Tukson. So I'm gonna go ahead and say that KnivesXRuby will become more of a reoccuring thing as his love is kind of un-requited but acknowledged and slowly the opinions shall change! Like I said, they will kiss before Season 2 is over! This I swear! If you don't get that reference I will cry...round 2...READ!

Season 2- Chapter 4

The Strength Within

You never know how Strong you are, until Being Strong is the Only Choice you have.

"And so then, Glynda bailed him out of jail." Luxus said as he pushed the 130 pound bar upward, "And so now he's moping around, while Deverou and Caradin are trying to cheer him. Knowing him though, he's going to get really drunk and either wander over to Ruby's room or wander over to Jaune's again by accident."

"Mmhmm," Newt said lazily as she watched him push that bar upward for the 25th time.

"Can we stop? This is seriously hurting." Luxus said.

"Until you can hit 150 reps of 200lbs. we're not stopping." She said fiercely.

He tried his hardest to push through it, but the bar fell on his chest and he began to gasp as it cut off his airway, and she lifted it off of him and set it back on the prongs as he rolled off the bench press stand coughing heavily. Rory and Bertilak walked in, just as he rose from the ground, "Woah, Luxus you okay?" Rory asked.

"I'm fine!" He barked back as he rose unsteadily before kicking the machine and using his semblance to lob the weights across the room.

"Luxus!" Newt cried as she ran over to him.

"Back off!" He cried, as he panted heavily, "I need to catch some air."

She stood there frustrated at her inability to help him, as Rory and Bertilak approached her as she was about to chase after him, "Leave him be," Bertilak said, "If he's like me, he's feeling powerless and the last thing he needs is the pity of someone stronger than him."

"But," She started, "he needs me!"

"No, what he needs is time to find his own strength. If you carry his weights for him, he will never grow." He said bluntly, "Your love will hinder him, and then it will kill him."

She gritted her teeth and kicked him as hard as she could center mass, and he flew to the ground as she ran off in a stream of tears, "Oi!" Rory cried as he got ready to run after her but instead helped his brother to his feet. "A little harsh don't you think?"

"Maybe a little too much." Bertilak said with a slight nervous chuckle, "She kicks like a Boarbatusk charges."

Rory chuckled, "Well if you want I can kick her ass."

"Fighting won't help the situation." Bertilak responded, "It's best to let them sort it out."

"You're always like that." Rory said angrily, "You wouldn't let me fight Grimm in the forest, so we found a way around them. You wouldn't let me fight Cardin so I teamed up with Knives and his crew, and you won't let me fight her. What is with you?"

"Maybe I'm afraid of letting you get hurt." Bertilak said.

"Well then maybe your love is going to get the both of us killed if you don't start getting a fire in your belly soon." Rory said as he left his brother in the trashed gym.

"Yeah, I know." Bertilak said with a heavy sigh.

In the End, some of your greatest Pain, becomes your greatest Strengths

"Put that damn rabbit down!" Edan yelled as he leapt across the room trying to pry the puppet from Sammy's hand as the other boy leapt into the air and flipped over him.

"Too slow, blue balls!" The rabbit mocked.

"Argh!" Edan roared, his anger causing his hair and eyes to glow a bright blue.

The rabbit got ready to tease him once more, before Mary snatched it off his hand and glared at him, "Talk shorty."

Sammy glared back with his glowing green eyes, and sighed planting himself on his bed, resting one of his legs on the other and propping his head up on his right arm, "Ask away."

Teena looked around the room at the tension mounting, "What is the Dust Infusion Program?"

Sammy sighed, "It was a research project pitched by Doctor Amadeus Cain, about infusing powerful individuals with Dust so that they could become living weapons to fight the Grimm, essentially putting Hunters out of commission. However the project had very," He thought for a while on the right word, "Unforeseen consequences."

"And those were?" Edan asked.

"How well do you think a body will be able to hold up to the direct integration of Dust into it? The subjects couldn't contain the energy for long and would just," He stopped once more, as if trying to block a memory from his mind, "Erupt."

"So people died trying to do this? And they were shut down?" Teena asked.

"Oh yeah, but that didn't stop them." Sammy continued, "Cain became obsessed with the idea that people with strong bloodlines would be the key to his operation. Originally he had planned to kidnap Killian Fey, and his brother Samuel, but instead Killian designed GH37 for him. A serum that was supposed to regenerate dead cells so that the Dust could be contained, and it was a roaring success with the regular people Cain had rounded up that he called Numbers. However, he wanted to test the process on people with rare bloodlines. When he found out my semblance from my parents, I along with Bloody Knives were brought in for testing. Ora Ngenge was supposed to be another, but Cain instead ended up doing the same thing he did to Edan."

Edan grit his teeth and urged Sammy to continue.

"Knives and I were failures on the drug and so my parents designed GH40 with Killian and they used it on the second generation who turned out much better. They had numbers, but they also had four others who were designated Sins due to their specific bloodlines. I was given the designation Sloth, and Knives was the only subject to bear two designations. He was given the title Envy due to his weakness, but his other half, the one you haven't seen called Johann; he was Greed."

"Why Greed?" Mary asked.

"Because he has a much larger vision than what Cain intended." Sammy added frightfully, "He is insane."

Edan looked worriedly to Mary who turned back to Sammy, "Who are these Sins?"

"Sin of Gluttony, Ash Aquinas. Sin of Wrath, Scarlet Ares. Sin of Lust, Dandelion California. Sin of Pride, Jet Tepes. They are horrid individuals with immense power, and they serve Cain dutifully alongside their Queen, Lilith." Sammy said as his eyes grew wide and he began to shake uncontrollably.

"Lilith?" Teena asked.

"L-lilith Cain, she is his daughter. And the reason for Rory's missing arm." He said as he shook furiously, "Can I have my damn rabbit!?"

Mary looked at him pitifully and handed him the plush as he struggled to close his eyes once more and breathed heavily as Teena comforted him, "How do you want to handle this?" She asked Edan.

"We know a lot, but I would say we are still unprepared to attack him directly." Edan said furiously, "So now we wait."

"Should we tell this to anyone?" Mary asked.

"No, this is something we need to do on our own." Edan said as he gazed out over the dying lights of the city with anger in his eyes.

Mastering Others is Strength, Mastering Yourself is true Power

Brandon and Ryzia walked into the warehouse where the White Fang were furiously trying to move things out and into vehicles, "Keeping busy Roman?" Brandon asked the enigmatic thief.

"Well, if it isn't the cat burglar," He started, wheeling to face them as his expression sunk "And the cat, look I'm kinda busy so if you could scurry along that'd be great!"

Brandon held up the small zip drive he had with him, "Here's the latest analysis of the current strength Beacon possesses. I've updated it to point out prime targets." He smirked.

Roman attached it to a scroll and quickly opened the file, Ruby Rose being at the top of the list, "Ah, Red, perfect." He said as he rolled his eyes. "Oh? This guy wasn't in your report last time." He said holding it up to show Bloody Knives. "I used to hear stories here and there about this kid, came out of nowhere and blindsided the criminal community." He took a closer look, "Related to Cyan Silver!? Is this accurate!?" He asked frantically.

"Yes." Brandon said, "You know what they say about turning an enemy into a friend."

Roman smiled, "Oh you have brought me a gem."

"Do we get a raise?" Ryzia asked.

"As if," He started, "I'm calling the big lady and telling her the good news, if she can get close to this kid, we might be able to get his family in on our operation."

Ryzia scoffed, "You're welcome asshole."

Brandon turned on his heels, "Come on Ryz, we've got more important things to do. See you in a bit when I've got that next report." They walked out into the night, soon their plan would go into full swing.

Strength Shows, not only in the ability to Persist, but the Ability to Start Over

Glynda was working on paperwork when the knock came on her door. "Come in." She said quickly without even looking up from her desk as the student entered and slammed his hands down on her desk. She felt that anger rising that usually came from disrespect and looked up with a stern look, expecting either Edan, Cardin, or Rory to be before her, but instead she saw Luxus Rayfor von Wurfel. "Mr. Rayfor it is rude to come into someone's place of work and slam your hands on their desk."

He immediately retreated and composed himself, "My uh, apologies, Professor Goodwitch."

"What do you need?" She asked eyeing him skeptically.

"I need you to train me." He said, "You are exceptionally powerful and can control multiple objects with your Glyphs, and I need to learn how to do that with my Kinesis."

"So you want to train you mind rather than your body? You do realize both are required for a Huntsman." She said eyeing him still.

"Yes ma'am, but I need to become better with control and weapon skills before I can even hope to stand alongside my teammates." He said sternly with determination.

"I can train you, but it will be an extra-curricular on my schedule." She responded, "I will train you when I can and I will not be easy, you wish to learn so that's what you will do."

"And I will do as such." He responded immediately.

She smiled, "I will see you tomorrow, and I expect you to work harder than you ever have in your life."

He left her office with a sense of pride like no other; soon he wouldn't be a burden to his team.

Yeah backstory! And now Luxus will be taking on Goodwitch to get stronger? Heheh...heheheh...HAHAHAHAHAHA he's gonna die :3
