CIAO MY FRIENDS!...any of you guys still here?

*notices I'm in the middle of a barren desert*

Hello?

Angele's eyes widened a bit and she opened her mouth to say something, only to be interrupted by Kai.

"Heh, you probably woke up once without us noticing, saw Miss Angele, and thought she was a dream!" he inferred.

"Oh, alright. I guess that makes sense." Aurea replied, but didn't believe a word of it. But, instead of saying that and persisting, she decided to ask about it later when she wouldn't be bothering anyone.

"Well, now that we've got that settled, I'm hungry! Let's go eat!" Natsu exclaimed, running down the hallway, the rest of the team following close behind.

Angele and Aurea were about to follow too, but Aurea stopped and turned to the other girl, looking her in the eyes with a small smile.

"Um, excuse me, Miss, but may I please speak to you about it sometime later? I don't think it was just some coincidence that I saw you, and a lot of weird things have been happening lately…but you don't have to, if you don't want." Aurea asked, trying to be as polite as possible.

Angele nodded, "I can arrange that. Now, go and eat something, you need to get your strength back. Your magic level seems pretty low right now, so don't try to do any large spells until tomorrow, okay?"

"Yes ma'am!" Aurea replied cheerfully, "But, wait, how did you know about my magic levels?"

"I saw it in your eyes."

Aurea swallowed a bit, looking at her eyes in the mirror once more. "You know, my eyes weren't always like this… they only turned two different colors today, or at least a week before…"

"Oh? I'm surprised your friends didn't notice." Angele remarked, her muscles beginning to relax around the happy girl.

"Yeah, they tend to be a bit oblivious." Aurea replied, giggling a bit, "Well, I should probably go join them, are you coming?"

Angele shook her head, her dark hair flowing with her movements, "No, I have something to do first."

"Alright then, oh, and thank you for taking care of me and my friends!" she said, running off to find her family.

Her bare feet silently as she followed the noise that was coming from the room down the hall. When she walked through the doorway, she saw Erza and Lucy speaking with each other, Gray and Natsu at each other's throats, and Kai scarfing down a bowl of colorful cereal. Seeing Aurea, Lucy waved her over, once she got to Lucy's side, she looked up at the blonde with her multi-colored eyes and opened her mouth to speak, only to be interrupted by one of Lucy's squeals.

"Aurea! What happened to your eye!?" she exclaimed, causing all eyes to turn to Aurea.

"Lucy, what's wrong?" Erza asked, looking over at the multi-color eyed girl. "W-what happened!?" she gasped, moving Aurea's bangs even more out of the way.

"What's all the commotion about?" Gray asked, as the commotion had ended his and Natsu's fight.

Soon enough, everyone had crowded around the small girl, all staring at the red eye that had appeared on her face. Well, all except for Happy, who was flying around with a shocked face, frantically calling out for a doctor. Every person in the room was frantically worrying about Aurea, except for Aurea herself who was just trying to get a word in from inside all of the commotion. It wasn't until she was smacked in the head by one of Happy's legs that she spoke up.

"Hey, listen!" she exclaimed like a little fairy (Navi anyone?), "Guys, I'm fine! It doesn't hurt or anything, so it's alright." She said, once everyone was silent.

"But, how do you know? It could be dangerous!" Lucy exclaimed, sounding a bit paranoid.

"Well, this type of thing has happened to me before, and I don't think this time will be all that different. It hasn't done anything to me, and it feels fine." Aurea argued, holding out the strands of pale, blonde hair that sat on the side of her head.

"But—" Lucy tried to reason, but was interrupted by a certain red-haired, armor-wearing, mage.

"We shouldn't worry. Aurea probably knows what she's talking about, and it's not causing any problems right now, so we shouldn't worry. But, if anything happens, then we'll worry, yes?" she said.

Aurea smiled and nodded, and after a few seconds everyone went back to what they were doing. Lucy gestured for the small girl to sit on her lap, and after doing so, brushed her fingers through Aurea's hair. She pulled it back into its usual ponytail and tied it neatly, exposing the red eye that sparkled on the light mage's face. Natsu and Gray were still arguing, with Kai and Happy staring at them as if they were watching a television show. The insults were the same as always, with things such as Flame Brain, Ice Princess, Stripper, Pyro, and such shooting out of the men's mouths.

"Hm, why do they insult each other like that?" Aurea asked, looking back at the women behind her as she rested her head on Lucy's chest, "I mean, if you think about it, some of those insults could be really nice compliments. Like, 'Flame Brain', well, Natsu is a fire mage, right? That means he SHOULD know a lot about fire, so isn't Gray just commenting on his magical knowledge? And the way he says it, it seems like he's saying that fire is the ONLY thing on his mind, but fire has a lot of components to it, and it's full of energy. So, all he's saying is that Natsu's brain is filled with energy, and that's a good thing…I guess. And, um, what's a 'stripper'?"

Lucy and Erza froze at the question, and Erza tried to answer her in the most innocent way possible. "Well, a stripper, is…someone that people like to look at, when they're wearing, um, a limited amount of clothing." She explained.

"Ohhh," Aurea sighed in understanding, "Well, if Natsu calls Gray a stripper, that means people like to look at him…which means he's handsome, right?" she theorized before giggling a bit, "People make up the weirdest insults!"

The two women laughed at her innocence, before sitting in silence a bit. Unfortunately, there wasn't really any silence since the two 'men' in the room were screaming their heads off. The only other disturbance was the slight laughing from Kai, who was truly enjoying the show. In a few moments, Angele walked into the room, a small smile on her face as her deep blue eyes landed on the bickering two.

"So, they're at it again, huh?" she sighed, shaking her head.

"Again? How much did they fight while I was out?" Aurea asked, looking up at the fair-skinned female.

"Only about every thirty seconds." Lucy answered, a sweat drop slipping down her face.

"All their bickering is giving me a headache." Erza growled, pinching the bridge of her nose in annoyance.

"Oh, here, I'll deal with them!" Aurea exclaimed, jumping off of Lucy's lap and stretching a bit. "Sorry, Kai, Happy, but the show has to end sometime, right?" she said, gaining Kai's attention.

"Aye." Happy sighed.

"Aw, okay." Kai pouted, causing Aurea to laugh at his actions and a small blush rise to his cheeks.

Aurea cracked her fingers with a smile on her face and clapped her hands together. She had done this spell many times while 'training' with Kai, and it was harmless, well, mostly harmless, and took little to no energy. Her hands separated slowly, and a ball of light grew in the center of her palms, growing bigger as her hands separated more and more. When she was satisfied with the size, which was about the size of her head, she smiled and held it in her right hand. She then hit it with her left hand to make it spin, before throwing it in between the fighting mages. Seeing the ball, they stopped and looked at the light in confusion, before it 'exploded' and filled the area between them to fill with blinding light, literally. They both darted away from each other, covering their eyes and crying out.

"AH MY EYES!" Gray exclaimed.

"AUREA, WHAT THE HELL!?" Natsu exclaimed, rolling on the ground frantically.

"You were giving Erza a headache, I had to do something." Aurea replied, kneeling down beside him. "Besides, that wasn't a lot of light, you'll be fine!" she said, a large smile on her face.

"Aurea! I told you not to do any big spells until tomorrow!" Angele exclaimed, running over to the girl and slapping her lightly on the back of the head.

"Ooww!" Aurea exclaimed, clutching the red bump that now appeared on the back of her head, "Miss Angele, it wasn't a big spell at all! It was barely anything, I promise!" she pouted.

"What? That was pretty big to just be a weak spell…" Angele argued, but was cut off by Kai's laughter.

"Don't worry Miss Angele, Aurea has done way bigger spells than that, that one was really minor." He explained.

"Oh, well I'm sorry for hitting you then…" Angele said, rubbing the back of her head, "But that was still a stretch, just live without magic for one day, will ya?"

"I'll try," Aurea giggled, "But no promises!" she exclaimed, causing Angele to lightly chuckle.

"What a strange girl." She said under her breath.
