Sun and Moon (a 'Pokemon X/Y' fic)
Disc.: I will never ever own a great series like this one, so for now I'll to settle on writing fics like this one.
A/N: I can't believe that people actually like this story, so for those who do I'll keep writing these chapters in the hopes that you'll continue liking this story of mine. This chapter will start off a little differently than the others before it, so please let me know how I did with it in the form of a review…now then, I won't keep you waiting anymore so here's the chapter!
Ch.8- Deaf Begging
Diana and Hope could safely say that things were moving along fairly smoothly, the two sisters managing to stay out of sight from humans; Diana was, at the moment, receiving another vision like she had many times before…only this time, the vision she saw was horrific and she could do nothing to stop what she saw in her mind.
(Diana's Vision)
The once beautiful Kalos Region had been turned into a lifeless wasteland, the many Pokemon either dead or gravely injured and then died…all the humans having been turned into stone statues with terrified expressions forever stuck on their immobile faces and unmoving figures…the King's Forest transformed into a war zone that had housed a horrific battle.
Xanthia could feel herself losing the life energy in her body, the Fairy Pokemon struggling to stand but after taking so many direct attacks from her opponent, she knew that the battle was lost as her opponent stood looking down at her with a triumphant smirk.
"W-Why…are you…doing this?!"
Her opponent, a Flying and Dark Type Pokemon with emotionless dark blue eyes and red sclera, said nothing as he smirked down at her before using his last attack and stealing her energy before blotting out the sun with his dark power…a screech of victory echoing loudly across the sky as Xanthia lowered her head in defeat and cried, her tear filled eyes falling on the petrified forms of Luca and Wallace holding each other in a shared embrace with their Pokemon trying to protect them standing there before her; they'd all been turned to stone after being hit with an attack that stole all their life energy from them and had thus died in a petrified state.
Xanthia herself soon turned to stone and her world went dark forever, the evil Pokemon roaring triumphantly as the whole world became as dark as his heart.
(Diana's Vision ends)
The Rock and Fairy Pokemon screamed in agony before crying loudly, Hope flying over to her distraught sister and wondering what could have made her break down like that.
"Diana, what's wrong? Did you have another vision?"
"Yes, Hope…this one, it was…"
"What did you see?" Hope said as she hovered in front of her sister, the Rock and Fairy Pokemon still shaken up by the images she saw before her vision ended.
"Kalos…it was turned into a battleground, I saw Xerneas die and thousands of lives were lost; humans and Pokemon both will be killed, among them…Luca and Wallace. They died in each other's arms, their Pokemon also dying with them! We have to do something, or all those lives will be gone forever!"
"Diana, calm down…if what you saw was going to happen, how long do we have until your vision comes to pass?"
"It will happen in 3 months' time, perhaps sooner than that…we'll need help from another Legendary or it won't be enough to stop this horrible vision from coming true."
"Well who should we ask?" Hope asked her sister, she knew that whenever Diancie experienced visions, it meant that events were coming to life that would be either good or bad for everyone…human and Pokemon.
"We must seek out Zygarde, he's the only one who can help us." Diana said with a serious look on her face, Hope nodding at her sister.
"Then that means we'll have to meet with the Swords of Justice, they're the only ones who know where he is."
Both sisters nodded at each other before Hope used one of her many rings to transport them to Unova, Diana hoping that Zygarde was in a listening mood.
(Unova Region, 12 hours later)
The two sisters found themselves in the Hieratic Forest, the tranquility of the whole place would normally be enjoyed by Diana and Hope but they had a job to do so they sought out the Swords of Justice and followed their energy signatures after a few minutes of trying to find them.
When they found them, Cobalion was overseeing a sparring match between Keldeo and Virizion while Terrakion was watching from the sidelines as a referee; Diana hopped up to the Leader of the Swords of Justice and asked to speak with him, the Steel and Fighting Pokemon nodding at the Diamond Princess.
"Diana, what brings you to Unova? Last I checked, you were overseeing things in Kalos…so why have you come here now of all times?"
"William…I had a vision, and it was far from pleasant."
"What did you see, Diana?"
Diana explained her vision to William down to the last detail, the Leader of the Swords of Justice joined by the other members upon hearing the conversation during their sparring match.
"Are you guys looking for Zygarde? I can take you to him." Virizion said, her expression serious as she regarded the sisters and the reason they were here.
"Thanks, Flora…will Shane and Miles be alright by themselves?" Hope asked Virizion and Cobalion, both of them reassuring her that they'd be fine as the two sisters followed after Flora and William.
(Terra Cave)
Hope and Diana were floating through the maze-like cave, both sisters managing to avoid the many wild Pokemon living in the cave…both of them reaching a huge hole that looked like it was made by erosion so it was smoothed out and perfectly carved. As the sisters floated through the hole in the wall, Hope looked up and saw that there was a hole in the roof of the cave to allow sunlight to filter through and make it seem not as dark as the rest of the cave. When they got into the room, both sisters saw a huge green and black Pokemon with rupee shaped green scales covering its' face where eyes should've been… those same green scales covering the underside of its' stomach and serpent-like body, black scales covering the top and back of the huge Pokemon with 5 black scale covered bone-like structures sticking out of the back of its' neck. The massive Pokemon could feel Hope and Diana in the room and shifted so that it could speak to them, its' voice echoing around the whole room and reaching the sisters' ears.
"Diancie and Hoopa…what brings you both to my lair?"
"Zygarde…please, we need your help…the Kalos Region will become a battlefield, Xerneas and Yveltal will destroy everything in their clash…will you lend us your strength?"
"I have been through many battles in my lifetime, seen the chaos that follows and has been born of fighting…whether it be caused by Humans or Pokemon, they still fight and war and slaughter each other every day; your reasoning means naught to me, Diancie. I have decided to stay out of the fighting, to let these squabbles work themselves out…you have wasted your time and mine by coming here, just for me to tell you that I refuse to stand between two Pokemon who are more than willing to solve a petty squabble on their own."
"But…so many lives will be lost, innocent lives that have no part in this fight that will come within 3 months' time…does this mean that you'll forsake the lives of so many just because you're tired of fighting?"
"I have made my decision…now, away with you little Princess…I am losing valuable time that I could be spending sleeping, and your presence is a distraction."
"Zygarde, please-"
"I said my choice has been made! Now leave, before I bring down this whole cave down on top of the both of you!"
Diana knew by his tone that Zygarde was no longer in a talking mood, so she turned away crying…Hope becoming angered by the other Legendary Pokemon's outburst; if there was one thing she hated, it was someone making her sister cry. The smaller Legendary Pokemon started to float back over to Zygarde, fury radiating from her as black energy started covering her body.
"You…fucking prick! How dare you make my sister cry, you son of a bitch! She came all the way from Kalos to ask you personally for your help, and you just turn her away?! You don't deserve to be a Legendary Pokemon, hell you don't deserve to be any kind of Pokemon if you're gonna turn your back on all of Pokemon kind…just because you're tired of fighting, that doesn't give you the right to act like a fucking saint! I hope that when our region is destroyed, you'll be the first in this one to die…when you're ready to reconsider your loyalties, you know where to find us you damned fucking asshole son of a bitch prick!"
Diana was shocked at her sister's rather colorful language, she knew that when Hope got angry she got vulgar…but she never thought that she'd get this vulgar as they both left the cave, Hope throwing up one of her Teleportation Hoops and both sisters going back to Kalos to prepare for the upcoming battle that would ravage their home Region and destroy the lives of many.
After the sisters had left, Zygarde was contemplating what Hope had screamed at him that wasn't blocked out by obscenities…perhaps he'd been too harsh in turning them away, but he wasn't going to give them the satisfaction of knowing that they'd broken him as he sighed depressedly at the thought of the many lives lost…he could sense that Diana had experienced a truly horrific vision, and had seen the smallest threads of it when she was speaking to him.
For all intents and purposes, Zygarde knew that he could perhaps pull out one last bit of battle ready energy as he shuddered before using Dig to tunnel his way out of the cave and heading to Kalos via an underground passage that he'd used before.
The Dragon and Ground Pokemon could only pray that he was in time to not only help stop a terrible conflict, but also apologize to the sisters.

T.B.C.- So, I can't believe that I made Hoopa really mouthy but it was so much fun that I couldn't resist! In the next chapter, Ash will become possessed by Yveltal during a picnic with his friends…how will this affect the rest of his journey through Kalos?
