AN: Hello, my readers. Here I bring you my first crossover with one of my favorite shonen/isekai anime, Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken.
So, if I make any mistakes, let me know.
It's set after the second season of Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken.
I don't own anything.
Canterlot High.
A place where students could be in harmony with each other, no matter how different they were, they were all friends.
However, there was a special group of friends known as the Mane 7.
Said group was strolling through the streets of the city as they chatted with each other.
"And then, just the match was close, I managed to steal the ball from them and scored the winning goal." said Rainbow Dash talking about the last match she played.
"We know. We were there." said Applejack rolling her eyes.
"In fact, you did it while I was performing a reverse triple somersault over that three-story pyramid." said Pinkie Pie.
"Normally I'd question the mathematical workings of that, but after everything I've seen you do, I'd rather not talk about it." said Twilight.
"Yeah, you get used to it eventually." said Sunset.
"What do we do now, girls?" asked Spike.
"We could go to the mall. I heard about a 20% off sale in the clothing section and I can't wait to see what they're offering." said Rarity.
"Yuck. Shopping? No thanks. I don't plan on dying of boredom." said Rainbow Dash.
"Well, whatever we do, I hope we all do it together so we can enjoy this beautiful day." said Fluttershy.
"She's right. No weird things have been happening lately and we should enjoy this day." said Sunset.
"Or as the title of this chapter says, just an ordinary day." said Pinkie Pie.
"What?" asked Sunset.
"Never mind." said Pinkie Pie.
"Okay, we could go to the mall. Maybe, if we're lucky, there will be discounts in the sportswear section too." said Rainbow Dash.
"Good call, pal." said Applejack.
Just as the group was about to cross a corner, Sunset noticed something out of the corner of her eye.
"Wait." said Sunset stopping the girls and hiding around the corner.
"What is it, Sunset?" asked Twilight.
"Look over there." said Sunset pointing straight ahead as she peeked around the corner.
The others peeked around the corner and followed her gaze to see something that startled them.
Half a distance away, a certain trio of girls could be seen.
Those girls were the Dazzlings, a trio of mermaids from Equestria who were banished to that world by Starswirl, but some time ago, they used their magic to bring discord to Canterlot High and become very powerful, but the Mane 7, with the help of Princess Twilight Sparkle, stopped them and destroyed their pendants, the source of their powers.
Now, the three of them were walking cautiously as they looked around to check if anyone was watching them.
"Aren't those the Dazzlings?" asked Spike.
"What are they doing here?" asked Applejack.
"Maybe they've come to try the cakes from that bakery." said Pinkie Pie.
"So, what's that they're carrying in there?" asked Applejack noticing that Adagio, the leader of the group, was carrying a medium sized, wrapped object in her arms.
"Something tells me that's not a take-out order." said Rainbow Dash.
"She's right. They act like they don't want anyone to catch them." said Twilight.
"Do you think they're planning something?" asked Fluttershy.
"I don't. After the battle of the bands, they lost their magic powers." said Sunset.
"So what should we do?" asked Spike.
"I say we follow them and find out." said Rainbow Dash.
"Girls, aren't we jumping the gun? Maybe they're just trying to get ahead in life like certain people we know." said Applejack remembering that two of her friends committed evil acts but were now good people.
"Maybe you're right, but it doesn't hurt to make sure." said Sunset.
"Exactly. If they're doing something bad, we'll stop them and if not, we'll just walk away and ignore the situation." said Twilight.
"It's a win-win." said Rarity.
"Or lose for us, since they are moving away." said Pinkie Pie pointing to the front, where the Dazzlings could be seen speeding away.
"Okay girls, let's follow them." said Sunset before the group set off.
Mane 7 followed the Dazzlings for a while from a safe distance so as not to alert them.
Although Applejack might be right and it wasn't a bad thing, Sunset couldn't help but feel something coming from the object she was carrying with them.
In fact, the sensation felt vaguely familiar.
It was then that they noticed something.
"Girls, doesn't this road look familiar?" asked Fluttershy.
"Yes, they're going straight to Canterlot High." said Twilight.
"That confirms it. Surely that object is some kind of weapon to destroy the high school." said Rainbow Dash.
"In that case, we should stop them right away." said Applejack.
"Not yet. We don't know what exactly they plan to do with it. For now, let's keep following them until we find out their intentions." said Sunset.
"I just hope that object isn't something dangerous." said Rarity.
"Nonsense. It's not like it's a zanpakuto or a magic-canceling sword." said Pinkie Pie.
"What of what?" asked Spike.
"Whoops. Sorry. We haven't gotten to those stories yet." said Pinkie Pie.
Finally, they arrived at their destination, Canterlot High.
Mane 7 remained hidden as they continued to watch the Dazzlings standing in front of the horse statue platform that was secretly a portal connecting to the world of Equestria, the home of origin of Sunset and the mermaids.
"All right, girls, you know what to do." said Adagio.
"Uh… What was it we were supposed to do?" asked Sonata in confusion.
Aria patted her head as she groaned in frustration.
"Have you forgotten again? Really? We came here to use that Equestria artifact." said Aria.
"An Equestrian artifact?" asked Fluttershy.
"Did you know about it, Sunset?" asked Applejack.
"No. That's the first I've heard of it after a while." said Sunset.
"It was probably brought to this world a long time ago and the Dazzlings managed to find it." said Twilight.
"But what do they intend to do with it?" asked Rarity.
"Once we use it, not only will we get our magic back, but those Mane 7 fools will pay for what they've done to us." said Adagio removing the bandages from the object, revealing it to be a small staff with four tips twirled like claws.
"All right. Enough of this." said Rainbow Dash heading towards them.
"Wait, Rainbow Dash." said Sunset trying to stop her, but it was too late.
"Stop standing there!" said Rainbow Dash.
Sonata raised her arms in surrender, but Aria quickly pulled them down.
"Well, there goes the element of surprise." commented Spike as the rest of the Mane 7 stood in front of the Dazzlings.
"Well, well, well. Looks like some people have decided to sign up for this party without permission." said Adagio.
"That's a lie. When it's a party, you don't need permission." said Pinkie Pie.
"We don't care!" said Aria angrily.
"I don't know what you intend to do with that thing, but we're not going to allow it." said Sunset.
"Oh yeah? Well, let's see if you can say the same thing after... THIS." said Adagio pointing the object at her.
Suddenly, a magical beam shot out of the object and hit Sunset, causing her to groan in pain.
"Sunset!" shouted Twilight before using her powers to pull her away from the beam and draw it to her. "Are you okay?"
"Ugh. I feel… I feel weak." said Sunset.
"What did you do to her?" asked Applejack.
"Oh, nothing. I just absorbed some of her magic." said Adagio.
"A-Absorbed her magic?" asked Fluttershy.
"That's right. This artifact is unique in both this world and Equestria, for as I understand it, it has the ability to absorb people's magic and then add it to the wearer's magic." said Adagio.
"Which means that as soon as we absorb all of your powers, we'll get our magic back and then…" said Aria.
"We can go back to singing!" began Sonata getting a furious look from her sisters. "What? Wasn't that the plan?"
"Lucky for you, I only absorbed part of it before your friend interfered." began Adagio ignoring her sister. "Now I'll make sure I don't miss." said Adagio before pointing her staff and shooting another beam.
"Scatter!" exclaimed Applejack before everyone turned away from the beam.
"We have to take that staff away from her." said Rarity before she threw diamond discs at her while Pinkie Pie threw confetti bombs at her.
Unfortunately, Adagio was agile enough to dodge the attacks before trying to hit them with the magic beams from the staff, but they moved out of the way.
Rainbow Dash was about to use her enhanced speed to catch her off guard and take the staff from her, but Aria and Sonata quickly grabbed her to keep her from moving.
Adagio pointed her staff at Twilight, who was still guarding Sunset and shot another magic beam.
Twilight used her powers to stop the beam in mid-air, but due to the nature of the beam, she felt her powers slowly weakening as Adagio looked on with an evil grin.
Suddenly, Sunset appeared in front of her and pushed the staff away, causing the beam to melt away, much to the relief of Twilight who fell to her knees from exhaustion.
Sunset and Adagio began to wrestle for the staff, pulling back and forth with the intention of snatching it from the other.
"Give it up, Adagio!" said Sunset.
"Never! I won't stop until I make you pay for meddling with our plans!" said Adagio.
It was then that, during the struggle, they pointed the staff at the portal and shot a magic beam, but, unlike before, that beam was orange and impacted the portal.
That caused the portal to flicker in different colors before a vortex was generated from which a stream of air was blown inward like a vacuum, something that made them all stop their fighting.
"What have you done?" asked Sunset.
"That's a question I should ask you." said Adagio.
The next instant, the absorbing force increased tremendously.
"What's going on?" asked Spike before he was swept away by the wind, but Fluttershy grabbed him with her arms to keep him from flying away.
"Grab onto something!" said Applejack grabbing Rainbow Dash's hand as she held on to the ground.
Rarity created a diamond shield to protect herself while Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and Spike were behind them.
Sunset, seeing that her friends were in trouble, decided to leave Adagio and help Twilight, who was about to be swept away by the wind, but Sunset managed to grab her before that happened.
The Dazzlings tried to move away from the vortex, but the force of the absorbing wind was too much for them and they eventually ended up being swept into the vortex by the wind.
Mane 7 tried desperately to avoid being swept away by the wind, but then, Sunset lost ended up being swept away and since she had hold of Twilight, she was swept away too.
"Sunset!" shouted Applejack and Rainbow Dash.
"Twilight!" shouted Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and Spike.
Due to the shock of seeing her friends being pulled into the vortex, Applejack ended up losing her grip on the ground and she and Rainbow Dash ended up being blown away.
Rarity tried to keep her shield up, but the force of the wind became so strong that it ended up dragging the shield before dragging her and the others as well.
Mane 7 screamed in terror before they were swallowed by the vortex that disappeared shortly after, leaving the area completely empty of people.
