Chapter Nineteen: ~ Just Relax

Date: April 24th, 2012

Location: The 'Red Dahlia' Spa

Time: 11:37 AM

"Ah…- so relaxing. Jeez from all that dancing my feet are still sore," Asami thought while soaking in a large Jacuzzi, "Yuudai was right in choosing this resort."

Asami sat with her back against the white marble wall. She closed her eyes, ignoring the other individuals who were soaking in the same Jacuzzi. Everyone was of the same gender. When Yuudai had booked a reservation [a week ago] for Asami, he made sure that she would have some privacy. Spa's were meant for a place of relaxation, not as a place for "oh look at that celebrity who just passed us!", or "I know you! Can I have your autograph?!" Having soaked long enough, Asami stood up wrapping a towel around her bikini-clad figure, before stepping out of the Jacuzzi. It wasn't a good idea to stay in any longer; the heat was making her feel a bit dizzy. She entered the change room, discarding the towel; she slipped into a cozy white yukata, which had the logo of the 'Red Dahlia' spa embroidered on the back. Asami slightly yawned before twisting her damp hair into a topknot, securing it with a silk black ribbon. Poor Siren, she only had two hours of sleep.

"Hmm… I wonder if the café serves chrysanthemum tea?" Asami thought to herself as she entered the spa's elaborate café, which was half crowded with other clients.

Asami took a seat by an open window, which gave her a breathtaking view of an ancient temple that was located a few distances away from the spa.

"Hello madam. Can I take your order?" Asked a waiter, dressed in a red long sleeved shirt and black pants.

"Oh…-umm. Do you serve any chrysanthemum tea?"

"We do. Is there anything else you would like?"

"Oh, no I'll just have tea for now."

The waiter smiled before leaving momentarily. Asami leaned back in her chair, raising the front legs off the red marble tiling a few inches. A habit of hers clearly signaling she was daydreaming about something. But this time a voice spoke out from behind her.

"Any further and you might break that pretty neck of yours," Kyoya had his hands on the back of the chair, "Hmm…-scarlet hair, is this a new fashion statement?"

"O-of course not," Asami blushed slightly from Kyoya startling her so suddenly, "What brings you here anyways?"

Kyoya smirked, taking a seat across from her, "A festival in honor of Lestia will be held tomorrow at the Central Plaza in the evening. I would like you to be there with me."

EKSTASIS ~ EKSTASIS ~ EKSTASIS ~ EKSTASIS

Location: 'Oasis' shop

Time: 1:00 PM

"…-even though you are only temporarily assigned as Asami's manager, I would advise you to not let your guard down when you are attending events with her. When there are dedicated fans in sight, someone might get injured," Said Yuudai while browsing through a catalog illustrating lavish kimonos and yukata's for sale.

"I'll try n-not to let my g-guard down. I'll d-do my best," Nanami stuttered, trying on a pair of white platform heels that a saleswoman picked out from the front display of the store. Other shoeboxes were stacked high next to her on a leather stool.

"I hope that you do. So far you have made excellent progress," Yuudai processed a nameless black credit card from his travel pouch, handing it to the same saleswomen from before, "Be sure to remember that purchasing fashionable footwear and clothing is most important for your career."

Nanami nodded, understanding in what Yuudai was telling her. In the end, Yuudai had purchased ten dresses, fourteen pairs of heels, five kimonos, and five yukata's for her. Money well spent in Yuudai's perspective, even though Nanami didn't want a whole new lavish wardrobe. But in a way the Chinese scion was actually spoiling the young composer.

"An individual needs to blend in with the crowd rather than sticking out like a sore thumb," Thought Yuudai, placing the receipt in his travel pouch.

Location: Celestial Marketplace

Time: 5:20 PM

Among the crowd of foreign tourists, Ren managed to cut through, away from a group of older females who were practically clinging to him. He would have to find another route back to his cabin without being spotted by the group. But since he was at the marketplace, taking a look around the area didn't seem like a bad idea. He did have time to kill…as always. Ren noticed that there were a lot of couples walking around purchasing trinkets and sharing delicious food. What a night to feel left out. He blushed slightly when the thought of Asami dressed in an elaborate yukata came to his mind. Too bad, the enchanting was back at the hotel with that onyx-eyed devil. Ren quickly stepped to the side, almost bumping into a group of children.

"Energetic little youngsters," He thought to himself before continuing down the path.
