Hicca cursed her helmet on these moments, because right now she would love to rub her temples. In front of her stood her two loyal crewman, together with Aster Hofferson, the love of her life. Who laid on the floor moaning after he was pushed down by Ray. She turned to her crewmates. "Brynn, get Sith' and prepare for our leave. Ray, get what we came for." Her command was met with an 'Aye' and a 'Yes' as the two left. Closing the door behind them. She looked at Aster, who was slowly recovering from the fall. He was amazing, his messy blonde hair covered his head and he looked very well trained. "Are you going to get up or what?" She said in a stern voice, praying that he wouldn't recognise her voice through the mask.

Aster slowly arose from his position on the ground, looking down the entire time. He noticed how the captain had a fake leg, which looked very technical and complicated. His eyes slowly travelled upwards. Her armour was light but functional, the thicker parts of leather could probably stop shrapnel and bullets, if their velocity was low enough. Yet it was light and very manoeuvrable, and it certainly showed that she was proud to be a woman in the skies, something that was still quite rare. Sailors had a saying that a woman on board brought bad luck, and it had travelled towards the skies as well. As his eyes went even higher he noticed how she was pointing to another chair, which stood a few feet away from him. He got himself on his feet and walked towards the chair, before sitting down onto it with a loud thud.

He looked at the captain, hoping to find any facial features behind the helmet, but it was too dark in the room, the slits that made way for her eyes only showed a slight sparkle, indicating that there were indeed eyes behind those dark holes. But furthermore, nothing. The only thing he could see was the braid that laid in her neck, brown and auburn. His thought were interrupted when she cleared her throat. "I have a hard time convincing my crew not to kill you." Her voice was muffled by the helmet but he could hear that she was about her age. "You are not making it easier."

"My apologies milady." Aster began, hoping that he could at least get in her favour by showing respect. "But I am looking for someone, and I believe you might be able to give me information about her." "And who would this be?" She asked, knowing fully who he was talking about. "And what makes you think I have information about said person?" "Hicca Haddock." Aster began. "One of your crewmembers had been spotted with her many times."

"And what would be exchanged for this information?" Hicca asked. "I hope you have a fair deal to offer for such a price." She could see how flinched when she mentioned her as a price. Which made her heart flutter. "Name it," Aster said. "The governor of Berk is willing to pay grand for any information about his daughter."

"The bounty on her head needs to be dropped and the search had to be halted." Hicca stated. Leaving no room for arguing. "Only then can I grant you information." Aster looked at her confused. "Well, that would also render the information futile." He spoke. "It would mean that we are never able to find her." "And it would grand her the free life she deserves!" Hicca yelled, her voice dripping with anger as she stood up. "If you can't find her might not want to be found!" Aster was actually a bit scared at the sudden outburst of the girl.

He pressed himself further back into his chair, thinking about what may have caused the outburst, she seemed so calm before, even understanding. "I" He cleared his throat. "I just want to find her." She looked down at him. "I just want to talk to her." He said. "Maybe I can convince her to come home." He saw that the captain calmed down and she sat down again. "What is home to you?" She asked.

"Home is where you're loved, home is where you belong." He began, before raising his voice. "She belongs on Berk, with her family." "She belongs with her friends!" Hicca yelled. "With her crew!"

"Her crew?" Aster asked confused. "She had a crew?" Hicca decided it was time to stop beating around the bush and to scare them off for a while. "She had an army." She began. "That submarine that saved Ray? Hers." Aster looked at her confused. "That destroyer that picked those two from your isle? It's under her command." She added, spotting the amazement in Asters eyes. "She has planes, ships and very able crew." Aster's mind was putting the pieces together, it explained a lot. Each time the rescue was perfectly timed, and expertly executed. Hicca stood up. "You better back off Hofferson." She walked to the door. Aster quickly stood up and followed her. "How do you know my name?"

She turned around and grabbed a hilt of a weapon from her leg. She quickly pressed a button and from the hilt came a blade, which extended all the way until it almost reached his throat. He stopped in his tracks and looked at the now flaming blade in front of him, before looking at the captain. The dancing of the fire illuminated her mask, shining off the metal of her helmet. It reflected on the small bit of auburn hair on her side, and on the metal buckles of her armour. But what really caught Asters eyes was how the fire reflected in her now visible eyes. Green and wet, filled with fear, hate, sadness and pity. Asters mind was working over hours, adding the pieces of the puzzle together. Bloodbane, her crew, the submarine and the destroyer. They all flooded his mind at once, quickly being linked together. A large map was drawn in his head, containing the vessels and the crew, which only left one spot open. The spot was filled by an auburn haired girl, his age. She was confident and cunning, clever and smart and a born leader. But most of all, she had green eyes in which he could drown and never resurface.

He let his eyes scan her body again, taking in every detail of how she had changed. She was taller, stood more confident, although she was leaning a bit on her good leg. Her leg, she had lost it, all he could do was hope that it was quick and painless for her. He slowly let his eyes raise again, she was beautiful. She stood tall and proud, and he knew that talking wasn't going to convince her to return to Berk. He looked back at her eyes, so green and beautiful. He remembered how empty and sad they had looked the months before her leave. Now they were bright and alive, carrying a fire that overpowered the burning sword in front of him.

He tried to say her name, but he didn't produce a sound. His mouth following the way of the letter but his vocal chords refusing to work. She say it though and knew it direct. The blade retracted back into the hilt, but she kept her posture. Ready to use it again. He felt relieve, she would listen him out, he would convince her to return to Berk and it all would be good. He felt like he was dreaming, and wanted someone to pinch him to check that. He started into the fierce eyes in front of him, now illuminated by the light of the hallway. He tried to say her name again, but his voice was still missing. Probably drowned into her eyes.

But his dream turned to sheer horror as Hicca twisted the handle in her hand around, before slamming it against the back of his head. Knocking him unconscious.

Hicca had ran as vast as she could. Knocking some unconscious had many advantages, but it was unreliable, if someone found him he would be up in a few seconds, but if not, he could be out for the night. She hurried down the stairs that lead to the docks, hoping that her crew had already assembled. This proved to be true when she spotted Ray carefully walking down the steps with a cart with a large metal contraption on it. "Hurry up!" She yells as she sees him carefully lowering the machine over another step. "We need to leave now!" "It's delicate machinery Hicca." Ray responds as the wheels hit the ground again. "If it breaks we can't use it." "If it breaks we can fix it." She responds as she pushed the cart to speed up their pace. Hicca keeping it from tumbling down the steps as Ray lifts it over the steps. They reach their dock quickly.

Brynn had started the engine, warming them up for flight while Sithera was on lookout. "There they are." Sith said as the two rounded the corner. "What's the hurry?" "Berk!" Hicca responds as she pushed the cart up the loading ramp. "Sith', get the master." Sithera quickly hurries off to find the dock master. They would need him to release the large iron stamps that kept the hull in place. "Brynn, help Ray get the radio on board." Hicca barked out orders like they were food at a kitchen, but her crew obliged willingly. The radio was a large heavy piece of machinery, capable of reaching long distanced, tapping off other frequencies and reaching a bit under water. They were installing one on every vessel in their fleet, allowing better communication during cooperative battles and during their time apart.

Ray and Brynn had it on the ship in no-time, struggling a bit when the gangplank ended but otherwise okay. Sithera came back quickly with the Master, who agreed to release the ship. He walked over to the control panel and slid his key in the lock. Twisting it before the mechanical system would be operational. He pulled one of the levers and the metal stamps slowly retracted from the hull, retreating back into the docks walls. "Be sure to visit again!" The master yelled over the sound of the engines. "It's always good to have some free folk around."

With Hicca at the wheel the ship sailed backwards out of the dock and into the dark night sky. Her crew hung lifelessly over the railing, still exhausted from being awoken in the middle of the night to perform heavy labour, but didn't whine. She sailed off into the darkness of the night, letting the clouds wrap around the ship. And it was out of sight in a matter of minutes.

"Their gone." Fishlegs said as he lowered his spyglass. "Probably boosting their engines and far away by the time we get our ship." Gobber sighed as he saw the vessel leave. They had planned on talking to Brynn Bloodbane, but if she was on that ship, that plan would be impossible.

"Did you see Bloodbane on it?" He asked Fishlegs. "Was she on the ship?" "I saw a brown haired girl who fits her description but I can't confirm it's her." Fishlegs said. "But I can't confirm it."

Gobber sighed again, if Bloodbane was on that ship they couldn't pursue, it was against the deal. A deal that would be completed in a matter of weeks, and which he wouldn't want to screw up now. "Gather the rest." He said with sad tone. "We're heading back again."
