CH4

Naruto was better than expected. He seemed to see through every move kakashi tried to make. Now don't get me wrong. Kakashi was kicking his ass, but he had to put his book away and use his Sharingan to do it. But he was kicking his ass, and that's all that counts. If the emo and pinky knew about team work then kakashi would have to take the team but since they have not helped yet, there may be a way to train Naruto by himself kakashi thought. He would have to get the full backing of the hokage to even hope though. The council seems upset with him for being on the same team as the emo. That's when it hit him, a council man had just today said that 'if there a student which was… well better than the rest then I'm sure you will be able to take that one without the others.' This was the council's way of saying to train the emo and ditch the demon brat and then we can try and kill him again. Well kakashi was so happy that the council had worded how he did after all no need for them to know which student he would take on as one and not as a team. However something was still in the way, Naruto needed to know that the test was meant to be about teamwork.

Naruto spoke then as if he somehow read my mind, "Shall we stop now? We both know that that the three of us would never make a team."

"Then why bother fighting me?" I couldn't help but ask.

"Well if I'm going back to the Academy I thought I could have some fun while I can" he responded happily.

Well kakashi thought. Now all he needed is the hokage's support and he would have Naruto all to himself, (Not in an inappropriate way) and Kakashi was sure that with a little help Naruto could be a Jonin within the year.

"Go on and hide, I still have to at least test the other two" I said.

Naruto was gone in an instant. In pain from a good ass kicking but happy that he put up a decent fight, after all one couldn't expect a potentially-to-be Genin to beat an elite Jonin. As kakashi tested the other two Naruto when around the field keeping hidden looking for his master. Master was normally around at times like this to look out for him. Master however must have been busy. Naruto was of course upset but it wasn't like the world revolves around him and master did do a lot for him as it was.

Kakashi was at the Hokage tower with the other possible Senseis, so far only Kurenai Yuhi and Asuma Sarutobi, have passed their teams and kakashi was the last sensei so out of 15 team only two had made it. Sure if the Hokage didn't back him with his proposal concerning Naruto then it would be three teams but let's see.

"So Kakashi" said the third. he had a look in his eyes, a cross between 'I hope Naruto passed' and 'Naruto better have passed or you will be in some serious fucking pain Kakashi.' A very hard look to pull off but he did so flawlessly.

"Team 7 consisting of Sakura Haruno, Sasuke Uchiha and Naruto Uzumaki. Pass or no?" He asked as if he wasn't threatening pain if the answer was negative.

"If you would be so kind Hokage-sama I would ask to take one and only one as my student" Kakashi said with a serious tone.

"Why is this?" The third asked suspiciously.

"Because..." kakashi started but did not finish, someone however did finish it for him with "...he wants the Uchiha and to get rid of the… others." Kakashi was sure that the man was not going to say 'others' but what he was going to say would get you killed in an instant if said anywhere near the Hokage.

Kakashi interrupted before the poor bastard said something to get himself killed. "No, on the contrary he's the one I what to get rid of. He is arrogant and has some power but neither he, nor did picky get that the test was all about teamwork. However Naruto not only understood but when i was fighting him I was forced to use my Sharingan. It felt like I was fighting against a newly awakened Byakugan or Sharingan, maybe even both to some extent."

This got them listening. "What do you mean kakashi?" the third asked.

"Well he seemed to see me wherever I was, in front, behind, hiding in a tree, even being underground did not matter, he saw me and he knew what I was going to do and even managed to copy one of the lower Jutsu but on the other hand it look like it made him sick and disorientated." He explained further.

"Well it would seem that you have a team this time around Kakashi." The third said happily.

"So I take it that I have to take the other two then?" He couldn't help but ask sullenly.

"Yes, if not it will look like I am giving him special treatment or trying to turn him into a weapon." The third responded seriously.

"Alright." He said.

Hm teammates pretty much always become friends no matter how unlikely it may seem at first. Teams will become friends for life, kakashi thought that this was the real reason for the Hokage's decision. Naruto needed friends, so why take a chance of make new friends away. He thought this since the Hokage had always given Naruto special treatment, and by becoming a ninja he became a weapon by choice.

I was upset, well that is to say I was the epitome of misery. I had a perfect plan, an underwater base, one way in Tobi with 10 explosive tags, Akatsuki was dead. Plain and simple. What could go wrong? And yet here I am in a tea shop looking at 9 very wet but very much alive men wearing black cloaks with red cloud's on them. However I have a plan to cheer me up. It included, pain's face, me running and a fish. The waiter looked at me funny when I asked for a raw, complete fish but he still got it and I paid for it so… splat … hahahahahahahahahahahaha. 10 explosive tags £10, tea with cookies £5, one raw fish £10, the look on pain's face after I smacked him around with a fish was absolutely priceless.

"Tobi they are all alive" He couldn't help but say annoyed.

Tobi looked down before responding,"Sorry master Tobi did all you told Tobi to do but they found a hole to escape from."

"well that's ok, but what I do have a problem with is why didn't you tell Itachi to get out before blowing the base up?" He asked while trying not to smack Tobi.

"…was Tobi meant to tell Itachi? Oh Tobi didn't know that!" Tobi said happily.

"why do I bother?" He asked himself wearily.

Tobi responded in a tone that suggested the answer was obvious,"You love Tobi and Tobi loves you master."

"Oww get off of me Tobi! What are you doing?! GET OFF!" He ended up yelling while trying to get Tobi off.
