Chapter Twenty-three: From terror to being treated like a Princess…-

Date: April 27th, 2012

Location: Celestial Amusement Park

Time: 9:10 AM

"Kyaaa, Mommy!" Shrieked Tamaki, running away from a hooded figure in the dark.

~'The Funhouse, Funhouse, Funhouse! Welcome to the Funhouse!'~

Asami shivered. The voice coming directly from the speakers was way too creepy. It had the effect of making her blood run cold. She felt lonely and scared. Ignoring the hooded figures, slowly she made her way through the dark, hoping to find an exit of the Funhouse maze.

"Won't you come play with me? Where are you my pretty?!"

Asami spun around. No one was behind her. Creepy. So god damn creepy. She quickened her pace only to bump into one of the hooded figures in the dark. The figure reached out to Asami.

"Lovely skin. I like pretty angels," Croaked the figure.

Holy. Shit. Asami screamed in fright. She took a few steps backwards only to fall back in a large coffin. The lid automatically swung shut on her. Asami banged her fists against the coffin lid. No use. The coffin was soundproof. She couldn't get out.

"Damn it…- I left my cell phone back at the cabin."

Minutes passed until a buzzing sound emitted somewhere within the coffin. The lid swung open, Asami blinked adjusting her eyes to the sunlight. She sat up in the coffin realizing she was out of the Funhouse. Kyoya stood in front of her. The demon lord had a satisfied smirk on his face. Asami spotted Tamaki crouching next to a concession stand…- growing mushrooms. The twins as usual were teasing Tamaki. Tourists passing by kept their distance from Tamaki's mushrooms.

"Was the Funhouse terrifying enough for you?" Asked Kyoya, helping Asami out of the coffin.

"I felt like I was a victim in a horror movie," Asami ran her fingers through a strand of the blue wig she was currently wearing, "But this Funhouse was a bit more thrilling than the one we went to in the United States."

Kyoya marked a red 'X' on his amusement park map. Three down, ten more attractions to experience. He quickly jotted down a few words in his black notebook, before following the others to the location where the 'Bumper Cars' were located. The crowd of tourists was increasing in the area.

Alexander, Masumi, and Tomochika quickly ran to a bench. Well...- only two ran while the other person slowly walked up to the bench. Ekstasis's Hypnos didn't bother in using his full energy. People walking by the three wondered as to why the group was dressed in white trench coats. Way too conspicuous, since the warm weather did not call for that kind of clothing. Tomochika peered through a pair of blue binoculars [borrowed from Chi], which she had pulled out of her bag. Masumi opened a package of yam bread before handing it Alexander. Oh. Dear. Hypnos was already asleep. A big snot-bubble had formed under Alexander's nostril. Masumi shrugged, he couldn't bother Alexander now.

"Everything looks good," Said Tomochika handing over the binoculars to Masumi.

"So it does. Tama-kun is pouting…- now he's growing mushrooms again," Masumi snickered, "Whoa, now he's back on his feet again. Uh oh, Asami appears to be a bit ticked off by Tamaki's skin ship… - ouch, that looks painful."

"What happened?!"

"Kyo-kun sent Tamaki flying into a game booth. Don't worry. The booth was full of plushies."

Tomochika sighed, "Sounds like the whole situation took a whole ninety degree turn."

Alexander's snot bubble popped, alerting the two that he was no longer asleep. Tomochika giggled, the plastic wrapper used to keep the yam bread fresh was already sticking to the side of Alexander's face. Masumi frowned at Alexander. Half of the yam bread was squished flat.

"I give up. At the pace we're going, its better for Chi to follow the group on her own time," Masumi raised his arms in excitement, "Let's go on a couple of rides! How about the rollercoaster?"

"No way. I should head back to the cabins, since I have an essay to finish. I'll see you guys later."

Tomochika took her leave, disappearing through the crowd of tourists. Masumi silently munched his yam bread ignoring Alexander, who already went back to sleep. Masumi peered through the binoculars spotting Asami wandering off to another area. The rest were in line for the 'Sky Drop.' Masumi wondered if Asami was going on another ride, or if she was sent off to buy the refreshments. So far none of the tourists had recognized the enchanting siren. Most of the tourists nearby didn't even bother the members of EKSTASIS…- probably because of their inconspicuous clothing style. Masumi tossed the wrapper into a trashcan before waking Alexander up.

"Anything interesting?" Asked Alexander rubbing his eyes.

"Noona is on the move."

"Oh…- let's go somewhere else. I'm sleepy," Alexander yawned.

"Your always sleepy," Masumi pulled Alexander by the belt of his trench coat, "We can kill time. Our photo shoot doesn't start till the afternoon."

"Hnn…- fine."

"What is your name?"

"How old are you?"

"Are you staying at a hotel nearby?"

"You're cute. Do you have a girlfriend?"

"Are you single by any chance?"

Questions. Dear. God. So many questions, this was one of the disadvantages when visiting a zoo in an amusement park, without another person to divert attention elsewhere. Masato had hoped to visit the zoo and take in the sights, but once he had entered the souvenir shop a group of females ambushed him. Now they were practically clinging to him. Masato sweat dropped, trying to think of a way to politely tell them off.

"I'm sorry…- but…"

"He's with me," Asami interrupted popping up from behind a shelf full of panda plushies. She had a panda toque on top of her head.

"Who the hell are you?!" One of the females snapped, quite rudely.

"As if you didn't know in the first place," Asami placed a matching toque on Masato's head, before turning her attention back to the rude female, "You shouldn't flirt openly with someone else's boyfriend."

"Asami?" Asked Masato even though there was a shade of crimson already dusting his cheeks. In response, the enchanting siren gave a wink, "Sorry darling, that I took so long in deciding what to buy."

Masato slightly smiled getting the hint, "It's…- okay."

The females left quickly, disappointed that Masato was already taken. Asami sighed in relief, thankful that she didn't have to play victim in a catfight.

"Strange," Masato said while browsing through a selection of key chains.

"Um…- are you talking about those females from before or these panda toques?" Asami asked, taking her own toque off before running her fingers through the bangs of the blue wig.

"No. Your new appearance is strange. I'm n-not saying it as an insult. I don't…-"

"Masato, don't even bother. I can't even tell who I am."

"I doubt that. Truthfully speaking, Asami underneath that disguise of yours, your natural beauty is quite attractive."

Oh. Boy. Asami could feel her heart exclaim 'Doki-Doki!' towards Masato's words. She didn't know what to say to him. Dear. God. Ren's play boyish charms were probably rubbing off on him. Masato paid for his purchases at the counter. One panda toque and a panda keychain. Asami left the shop quickly once she paid for her own purchases. Even though Masato had offered to pay for her purchases, she refused without any hesitation in her words. Too bad he couldn't ask her if she was feeling all right. After all, she appeared to be a bit feverish.

[Asami's P.O.V]

"What in the world are you mixing?" I asked Kaoru, while relaxing on a leather sofa on my back. Hikaru was kneeling by my side painting the nails on my right hand a red velvet color.

"Shredded herbs and veggies for your facial mask," Kaoru replied.

"You guys don't need to do this," I said making a move to sit up only Kaoru had stopped me from doing so, smearing the cold mixture across my forehead.

"Stop moving around! This facial treatment will do you a lot of good for your skin."

Hikaru smirked, "Relax Asami."

"Ok, ok. But the massage oil…- cancel it."

"Oh dear. Hikaru did you hear that?! Our princess doesn't want the 'special treatment'."

"I did. My brother, it seems that our princess is still shy of us."

Ugh…- too much brotherly love and teasing. My face was already feeling cold from the organic mixture. Kaoru had managed to tie my hair up into a bun, before continuing to smear the mixture on the front of my neck. I felt a bit cold even though I was comfortably wearing one of the hotel robes. Oh for sure, that cold mixture was working.

"I'm not shy. I'd just rather stick to this facial treatment."

"Your shy darling. There's no point in denying it," Hikaru smirked, "Even though you're a beautiful princess in our eyes, to others you're a forbidden flower."

Gah…- those two are such a tease! I averted my eyes away from Hikaru. Staring at the ceiling seems more interesting. If Kyo-kun and Tama-kun hadn't gone with Masumi and Alexander to their photo shoot, I wouldn't be here with the twins. How did watching a movie with the twins turn into being treated like a princess?!

"Excellent. My princess, what do you think?" Asked Hikaru, before setting the tweezers down on a coffee table beside his large manicure set.

"You've practically outdone yourself," I replied taking in the view of my manicured nails.

Amazing. Hikaru definitely has the talent to be a professional nail artist. Chi is probably going to spazz over the sight of my nails. Rich velvet color. Elaborate rainbow rhinestones in the center on each nail. Lovely mix of colors. It gives off an oriental theme. Bleh…- the mixture is starting to feel a bit stiff. Hikaru smirked, poking my right cheek.

"Mochi."

What. The. Hell?!
