Gobber reacted immediately, grabbing the gun from Stoick and breaking it open, emptying the bullets and the spent case on the deck. It wasn't hard to grab the gun from Stoick's grasp, whose trembling hands easily let go of the gun. The rest of the Berkian's were frozen, while Hicca's crew had quickly formed a defensive stance around her.

Sithera grabbed her blades, ready to throw them and embed them into a foe, Ray stood next to her with his rifle, ready to help Sith' with clearing the deck of the galleon. Brynn had turned to Hicca, helping her remove the shoulder pad and inspecting the wound. The wound wasn't fatal, but it was deadly. The long and relatively deep cut that it had left looked painful, and if it got infected it could kill her.

Ray shifted when he saw movement, and tensed even more when he saw it was Aster. He held a small box in his hand, bright red, with a large white cross on the middle of it. He held it with one hand and slowly kneeled down, putting it on the ground and shoving it their way. The box slid across the deck, being stopped by Sithera's foot, who gave it a quick glance before pushing it to their injured captain.

Brynn opened the first aid kit with a hurry, finding the materials to treat the wound. After making sure the wound was clean, and wouldn't get infected, she grabbed the bandages from the box and gently wrapped the wound. Hicca had a pained look on her face, but Brynn could also see that the usual fire that burned in her eyes was replaced with a raging inferno. As soon as she finished tying the bandages Hicca stood up. Brynn grabbed her shoulder, the one that wasn't shot.

"Don't." She said calmly, receiving a death glare from Hicca. "Just get back, calm down, and we'll sort this out."

"No." Hicca said, shaking herself loose from Brynn's grasp, and walking through the opening between her other crew mates. "I'm done."

Stoick looked at her with a puzzled and scared look, afraid that he had gone too far. "Hicca." He said carefully. "We can talk about this."

"For the last few years I have been hunted by you!" Hicca said with anger in her voice. "Like some sort of animal." She spat. "I always believed you were a hero, doing what was best for berk." Hicca ranted as she grabbed the birth certificate form the deck, which was dropped when she was shot. "But now I see, you don't do things if they are harmful for Berk. You kill anything that isn't helping it."

"Hicca don't." Gobber added when he saw her grab her sword, extending the flaming blade.

"I'm done." Hicca said as she held the paper close to the blade, the fabric catching fire in just a few seconds. "With all of you." She added as she dropped the quickly burning paper on the ground. The Berkian crew looked in horror as the flames ate through the paper, destroying the official document in a matter of seconds. Turning the old parchment into a small pile of ash, which was quickly taken away by a gust of wind.

She turned quickly, climbing on Toothless and letting the dragon jump to their own ship, gliding half of the way. The landing was not at all gentle, Hicca falling off Toothless and rolling a few meters across the deck. She regained herself slowly, changing her leg bag to walking and heading towards the helm.

Brynn quickly got to Shriek, also getting back to the 'Skywhale' the two remaining crewmembers also got to their dragons, quickly retreating to their own ship.

"Don't think about doing anything." Hicca warned from her ship. "They won't hesitate to bring you down, as will I!"

The engines roared to life, the ship slowly speeding up and turning away from them, slowly gaining distance. As the ship shrank to nothing but a speck on the horizon, the other crafts slowly left, the plane had already landed and was secured on the ship, after being lifted on there by a crane. The submarine crew left the gun position that stood on deck and the vessel slowly submerged. The destroyed also turned away from them, the ship rapidly gaining speed.

It didn't take long for the galleon to be the only vessel left, the hull gently moving on the winds. The crew standing idly in the breeze, not sure what to do. Gobber was the first to move, walking to the stern of the ship and turning up the engine power, which had been on idle the whole time.

Stoick snapped out of his trance, turning to his friend who was turning the ship. "What have I done?" He said softly.

"Shot your own daughter, which made her run." Gobber said calmly, a hint of irritation in his voice. "Caused her to never want to see you again."

Stoick looked at Gobber with a sad expression, he had definitely gone too far this time.

"What were you thinking anyway, trying to shoot the dragon?" Gobber said. "It didn't do anything."

"She couldn't come back to Berk with the dragon." Stoick said slowly.

"So what? You just shoot it?" The smith looked at his friend. "You just shoot a thing she's obviously very attacked to? Did you think that would change anything?"

"I was trying to get her back!" Stoick yelled. "What could I have done?"

"You could have talked with her!" Gobber yelled back, the teens on the ship calmly watching the discussion.

"Didn't I do that? Didn't I talk and talk and talk about her coming back?" Stoick asked.

"No you didn't." Gobber said with anger. "You taked to her, not with her."

Stoick froze, although they were simple, Gobber's words stung deeply. He though back about his daughter, and in the memories it became painfully clear how rarely he actually listened to her.

AN:

HELLLO!

First of all: Sorry for the late chapter, I think I left you guys waiting for a good 3 weeks, maybe even more. I'm not sure.

Truth is, I really didn't know what to do. I was struggling with the chapter and nothing seemed to work. This chapter is just to close this little turn of event and allow me to continue with the rest of it. I'm hoping to end it in the next couple months and start a new story. I'm not yet sure which one from the poll. The one about Hiccup starting his own tribe had been on there a long time, and had always come out on top of the polls, but I am really motivated about the one where the schoolkids are playing war games with real tanks and stuff.

Anyway, I started a blog, I have no idea how it works but I'll figure it out soon enough. You can find it at .com!

Also: I have a nice and interesting matter that I need to address for one of the stories:

How can I make it so, that two or three teams can fight each other. Teams consisting of WW2 Tanks, planes and infantry. I was thinking something along the lines of the tanks only firing at other armored vehicles with their main armament, and being forced to only use machine guns, which would be loaded with something like paintball bullets, against infantry.

Flak and bombs would be large canisters which would explode with paint, indicating that something has been hit by covering it with paint.

But I could also make it some kind of futuristic shit, that people would actually get shot and that blood would be visible but that they wouldn't die, that would be awesome. I don't want it to become a simulator though, and there are a few criteria that I really want to have.

A functioning, real, tank has to be able to be implemented. Not some artificial stuff, but an actual restored tank from the Second World War.

Infantry had to be able to fight alongside the Tanks and other vehicles.

Planes, just like the tanks, have to be available.

I really hope you can help me with this. :D

If you have answers, or would like to discuss this with me, please PM me. You could put it in the reviews, but if you don't have an account I can't reply on it.

I'm really interested in what you all come up with.

I hope to continue with the story with weekly updates again.

Take care!
