Chapter Thirty: This is how you make me feel…-

Word did get around quickly. Tomochika had told Haruka about the 'mark' on Asami's collarbone. Haruka then told Chi who in turn told the rest of EKSTASIS through text messages. Asami knew beforehand that this would happen. Ren was already receiving the 'cold shoulder' treatment by the twins in class. Oh. Boy. Since he was partnered with the three for a class project, communicating with the twins wasn't going so well.
"Now, now. All because I teased your leader a little," Ren slightly chuckled, "You two are already casting my ideas aside."
"A little?!" Questioned Yoshio, his dark purple eyes glinted, "You've clearly crossed the line!"
"Oh ~ are you jealous?" Ren smirked.
"How about I give you a knuckle sandwich?!" Threatened Yoshio, only to have Yoshi place a hand upon his shoulder, telling him to not start a scene in front of the other students in the classroom.
"Stop bickering!" Asami snapped, clearly annoyed towards the two, "For God sake, we're not getting anywhere with our assignment!"
"Asami, how can you sit beside that pervert?!" Yoshio pointed at Ren, "He's clearly got his mind in the sewer."
"Jeez…- your so immature," Asami scoffed, before leaving the classroom.
"Asami, wait a…-" Ren quickly trailed after the young siren.
"Well, you've clearly set off a landmine," Said Yoshi flipping through his booklet.
"Shut up!" Snarled Yoshio.

Close to the lake, Alexander sat down upon the green grass, looking up at the sky. He had some time to relax, including the fact that he wanted to get away from the tension between Ren and the Watanabe twins. Over imaginative fan members. Most of the females from Ren's fan club already had caught word of the situation between Asami and Ren. The two were already dealing with 'squeals of joy' and a lot of 'teasing' from other students. Alexander sighed. Perfect timing. The flirtatious saxophonist had chosen to show up, sitting beside Alexander, before handing him a can of warm coffee.
"What a surprise," Alexander placed the coffee can by his feet, "No fan girls in sight."
Ren sweat dropped, "Oh. Dear. Are you turning against me too?"
"Not really," Alexander slightly smiled, "None of my business to what occurred yesterday."
Ren chuckled, "Nice to know that you're on my side."
"I take no one's side," Alexander pulled the tab on the coffee can, "Anyways…- is Asami already avoiding you?"
"Ouch. You have a way with words," Frowned Ren, "No. She went elsewhere to have some peace and quiet."

Asami stopped writing, the lyrics that she had written in her notebook so far, truly expressed her current feelings for a certain blue haired pianist. She tapped the paper with her finger before she capped her pen. What a surprise. There were no expressions of angst and terror in the lyrics this time around. Such a big change compared to her other songs from her recent mini album. Notebook in hand, she sat back in the sofa, which rested against the wall of the recording room. Asami started to hum an improved tune, hoping to blend it well with the lyrics. She needed it to be catchy. Genre already in mind; J-pop with a splash of techno. The humming came to a complete halt when there was a knock on the door before Masato entered the recording room. Asami quickly closed her notebook, slipping it back into her shoulder bag.
"Oh…- sorry. I'll come back later."
"Ah, Masato wait! It's alright…- um…- I was just finishing a few notes."
Pathetic. White. Lie. Masato instantly reached out at the black mini silk scarf wrapped around Asami's neck, tugging gently only to unravel it. Oh. Damn. Asami didn't know what to do once Masato saw the 'mark.' She slightly trembled, feeling cornered from the dark expression in Masato's eyes.
"It's true then. Jinguji and you…- are together!?" Masato gripped the scarf tightly.
"No!" Asami exclaimed, "Masato…- it's not what you think! He didn't mean to…-"
Too. Late. The scarf dropped to the floor. In a flash, Asami's back was against the wall, her eyes wide in surprise once Masato had his lips upon hers. At first she struggled but soon she succumbed to the fiery sensation. Talk about sexual tension hanging in the air. Damn. Hormones. Fucking. Jealousy. Who was to blame? A flirtatious skirt-chasing roommate of course.

Even though Masato couldn't hear my thoughts, my heart reacted, pounding ever – so – crazily to his feisty kiss. I failed in pushing him away from doing so I've been hypnotized. The hunger and thirst for more. I was becoming greedy. Damn. Hormones. Mind. Hazy. It could've been minutes before he broke off the kiss. We both were slightly panting from our lack of oxygen. I blushed, realizing at how close his face was to mine, his eyes gazing deep into mine.
"Asami," He whispered, "You tempt me. Mentally. Physically. I wish you could understand. The confusion…- I feel along with the emotions deep within my chest."
"Masato," I ran my fingers through a strand of his hair, "There's no need to explain what you're trying to tell me. It's too late to turn back since we've broken the rule of the academy."
"I apologize," He said, gently wrapping his arms around my waist, "I acted too foolish. Even at a time like this when you're injured. Truthfully, I didn't want to lose you…- to Jinguji."
"Stop blaming yourself," I smiled, "Lucky that I have certain…- feelings for you."
He blushed, quickly averting his eyes, "Then does that mean…- you're willing to be…- my girlfriend?"
"Silly Masato," I blushed, "Of course. After all you are the one who I gave my first kiss to a long time ago."

"I told you that I'd be rooting for you," Masumi handed Masato an ornamental vase, "So have you scheduled a date?"
"D-date?!" Masato questioned, almost dropping the vase.
Masumi chuckled, "Yeah. You know. A man takes a lady on a date where they have some fun together."
"N-no. I haven't asked her out on a date," Masato set the vase on a table.
"Step up to the plate man!" Masumi shouted, slapping Masato on the back startling him.
"Masumi, I don't quite understand what you mean by…-"
"Dude. It's slang," Masumi sighed, "Listen. All I'm trying to say is that you should be bold and brave. Build up your courage and ask the enchanting siren out on a date!"
Masato sweat dropped. Damn. It. If Masumi hadn't conversed with the ladies, he wouldn't have Ekstasis's Mercury giving him advice on how to charm the young siren. Hopeless. Masato couldn't drink his matcha tea in peace. The peaceful atmosphere in the tearoom was long gone.
"I would. But I don't know where to take Asami," Masato sighed, unwrapping a box of ceremonial tea bowls, which was ordered a day ago.
"Oh dude, you really don't know how to treat the enchanting siren," Masumi brought out a green manual handing it over to Masato, "Read this. It should be of some aid."

"My, my, my. Since when did you start taking a interest in this, Hijirikawa?" Asked Ren before taking the open manual from Masato. The two sat across from each other in their living room dorm.
"Jinguji!" Masato snapped, snatching the manual back from Ren, "It's none of your business!"
"~Waaaa~ scary. I see that I'm still not forgiven," Ren snickered, reclining back in a sofa, "Temper, temper. I was only curious."
"Jinguji," Masato sighed, "Stop bothering me."
"So mean. I only wanted to chat. Ah…- that manual," Ren smirked, "Are you hoping that you might find help, revolving around the sweet rose?"
"Jinguji!" Masato flexed his hand, before standing up.
"Wait a second. I was only…- H-Hijirikawa that fist…- aaahhh!"
