Chapter Six
The war between Punk and Nash grew intense. Both men raged and duked it out in the ring. Mike didn't get a chance to spend time with the older man and he wanted to get to know him, but he didn't know what to do. Every time they were on the road, Nash's time was taken up by either cussing out Punk or talking to Sean. Mike began to believe that maybe the older man didn't want to be with him, that maybe Nash just wanted a one night stand.
"What's wrong with you?" Alex asked one day.
"Nash," was all Mike said.
"What about him?"
Mike looked to him. "I really like him and I'm starting to think that maybe he really just wanted is just a one night stand."
Alex stared at his friend. "What makes you think that?"
"Well, he hasn't called me nor text. He's been busy with Punk and talking to his ex, Sean."
"There you go. He's busy."
"Even if you're busy, you'd would still try to get to know someone you like. I mean look at Cena."
Alex nodded.
"How's that going by the way?"
"It's going. Jack and him don't get along and I really don't care for the both of them."
Mike tilted his head to the side. "I thought you were gay."
"I am. John and Jack don't...really set it off for me."
"Who does?"
Alex smiled and shook his head. "Never mind me, let's deal with your shit first."
"I would rather deal with yours. It seems easier."
Both men laughed and went about their day. Alex was plagued on how to help his friend and he didn't want to drop it for later. He had to deal with it now. His first course of action was to go to Hunter. He found the older man working out in a gym. He was more watching people than exercising.
"Hunter, can we talk?" Alex asked.
He looked up at the blond. "I can't help you with Cena nor Jack."
"It's not about that."
The older man wiped his face down. "All right. Go."
"Is Nash seeing anyone?"
Hunter snapped his head to Alex.
"Mike really likes him and Nash has been scarce lately. Mike thinks that Nash just wanted a one-night stand and that was it."
Hunter chuckled. "Nash isn't dating anyone. He's single."
"Mike thinks he might be dating Sean again."
"As in Waltman?"
Alex nodded.
"No. Never again. Nash has been there and done that. He likes Sean better as a friend and not as a lover."
Alex smiled. "Really?"
"Yeah. I hope that helps."
"It does." He hugged the older man. "I'm gonna help Mike as best as I can."
Hunter shrugged his shoulders and went back to people watching when Alex left.
"Why did Alex hug you?" Cena asked as he walked over.
The older man looked over at him. "What?"
"Why did Alex hug you?"
The Game stared at the Champ for awhile before he smirked. "That is none of your business, boy."
John clenched his jaw and turned to walk away. Hunter shook his head. He began to chuckle.
"Boy's got it bad," Glenn said.
"That he does," Hunter replied.
"So do you. Word is you're trying to get to Punk."
Hunter stared at the tall man.
"But I know the truth and I don't care. So why did Alex hug you?"
"He's trying to help Mike with Nash."
"Kevin Nash?"
Hunter nodded.
"Mike likes Nash?"
"Yeah."
"Really?"
Hunter shrugged his shoulders.
"To each their own I guess."
Hunter nodded as he watched Punk and Kofi as they worked out.
