Hi, everyone. Here's the next chapter.

Now, a Guest reviewer has said something like, 'who died'. Now I'm very happy that you reviewed but to be honest, I have no idea what you're talking about man. The only one who died in this story is the girl who Sian Dent has found in Chapter: 11 or in Chapter: 9 according to Fanfiction chapter numbers. If that's not the one then I really don't know what you're talking about.

Again guys, if you don't remember much of the story, please go back and read the last four chapters first. Thank you.

Chapter: 14

His eyes found Agent Rhodes as he came in the room and he walked up to her.

"Ma'am?" She looked at him, silently asking what the matter was. "Miss Dent has asked if she can leave."

She nodded and thought something. "Yes. But don't let her leave alone. Go with her. Make sure she's inside her house. Understood?"

He nodded too. "Of course." He said politely. But inside he was dancing with absolute happiness and screaming 'yesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyes'.

He left without another word and went to find Sian Dent, who was sitting in a room alone. As he saw her, he again thought if she was appropriate for the work. Her achievements as a journalist were very good in such a young age. Then again, this was something entirely different. This was something more dangerous than anything she had ever done before.

Guess, I'm gonna have to find out myself.

So, he walked up to her, and as she looked up, offered her his hand with a smile.

"Miss Dent? Hello. I am agent Daniel Grey."

Before Agent Grey could escort her out of the hospital, she stopped and asked for Agent Rhodes. An alarm bell went off in his head immediately.

"May I ask why?"

"Yeah, um" She looked tired and frustrated as she spoke. "Before the girl, um, she died, she gave me something." She got something out from her bag and offered it to him. It was a roll of papers wrapped in a piece of transparent plastic. "I don't know what…."

Sian was cut off as he snatched it from her and tucked it inside his coat. "Come on. Let's get out of here."

"You know where I live." Sian said as Agent Grey drove the car. He simply nodded in reply.

"FBI has looked you up."

They were taking Grey's car instead of Sian's. FBI was being paranoid and wanted to make sure that she actually went home and that she had nothing in her car.

Of course not, she has it with her idiots! He thought cheerfully.

And by doing this, Agent Rhodes had actually given him an opportunity to have a face to face talk alone with Sian Dent.

"What are you going to do with…with her body?"

Sian's question snapped him out of thoughts.

"FBI's going to take custody of it." He said.

"Aren't you going to find her parents?" Her question threw him off a bit.

He sighed and asked, "Do you really think she had anyone in this world for her?"

Sian didn't answer. It was quiet for a few moments before she spoke again.

"It's going to take a really long time in this route you should turn right it will be….."

"Good, that's what we need. We need time." He thought about how to explain everything to her. "How's your work?"

Sian looked at him confusedly. "I'm sorry?"

"How's your work? Do you have anything big in your hands now?"

"Um…. No?"

Agent Grey nodded. "I've looked you up too. You did some very impressive jobs. Catching a whole mob of drug dealers….. It's good. You're good." I sound like an idiot.

Sian looked more confused. She opened her mouth once, then closed it, then opened it again. "If you don't mind me asking, why are we talking about my work?"

Grey took a deep breath. "I have a job for you."

"FBI has a job for me?"

"No, I have a job for you."

"What do you mean?"

"Have you ever heard of Itex?"

Sian shook her head. "No. What is it?"

Suddenly Agent Grey parked the car in front of a diner. He killed the engine and looked at her. "In papers, Itex is this wonderful organization doing all these good things for humanity. They have business and branches around the world. Also, some side businesses such as medicine companies."

"And in reality?"

"In reality, they are these bunches of scientists doing horrendous experiments using humans as guinea pigs."

"I…..what?" She looked more confused than ever. Well, guess he wasn't doing a very good job in explaining.

"All right, let's do it this way." He sighed. "Look, you've seen those sci-fi movies where evil scientists do experiments using humans? Like mixing animal and human DNA's? Or giving people inhuman powers for only experimentation? Powers like, telekinesis, mind reading, inhuman strength or speed…."

"Are you saying these people actually do this?"

"Yes! Yes!"

Sian stared at him like he was crazy. Well, that was natural.

"Is this some kind of joke?"

"Yep. And that girl that you found today, I gave her a personal make-over to just prove you an idiot."

She looked like she was trying to find her voice, when she spoke again, it was hoarse. "That girl was an experiment?" He nodded. "But isn't this kind of stuff illegal? Using humans to experiment?"

"It is. It is illegal. But these people have been doing this for years. They have links everywhere. Even in the law enforcements."

"Well, why aren't you stopping them?"

"Because I don't have enough proof. To actually stop them I need something big."

Sian rested her head and looked ahead of her. All of these were just too much to take in. then she realized something else. "Wait, where do they get men? Because I'm sure that nobody just walks in there willingly so that they can turn him into an animal."

"No. Nobody does that." Here comes the second part. "They kidnap newborn babies," Grey felt his throat closing up, but forced himself to calm down. "Sometimes someone volunteers and gives them egg to...you know… make taste-tube babies."

Sian slumped back again and took a deep breath. "This is horrible. How many babies are out there that they're experimenting on?"

"Hundreds, probably thousands." He sighed. "I only know about one place where they're doing these stuff, there's probably more."

"Why are you telling me this?"

He looked her straight in the eyes. "Because right about now, you're the only hope I have. I don't have clearance to look into it, and there're moles in the FBI."

"Why not go to Agent Rhodes?"

"When I say moles it includes Agent Rhodes."

"She's working for them?" He shrugged. "So you want me to look it up? Why me?"

"I told you. You have a good background."

She rubbed her eyes tiredly. "I never caught that drug dealer mob. I only gathered evidence and published it in my newspaper."

"And that's what you will do now; just gather the proofs, enough proofs so we can stop them." Grey started the car, and then he took something out from inside his coat. It was the roll of papers.

"Miss Dent, I know this is a lot for you to take in right now. So how about you go home, have a good night's sleep and decide in the morning what you want to do." He gave her the papers. "Take this. If your answer is 'yes' open it and see what's in here. And if your answer is 'no'," He nodded towards the diner, "I'll be waiting for you here. Come and give it back to me."

Chapter: 15

Sian couldn't remember when the last time she had hard night like this was. She was tired and just wanted to go home. But when she got home, instead of going to bed she went to find her father. Mr. Dent was working late that night. He heard the door slam shut.

"Sian, are you home?"

Sian came in the kitchen and sat in front him after finishing off a bottle of water. In a word, she looked horrible.

"So, how was the night?" He asked calmly, knowing that she would answer his question if she wanted to.

"Can I talk to you?" She asked in a shaky voice.

And what she said was unbelievable. He tried to keep up with her, but she was talking so fast that it was hard to understand everything. After she was done, they sat there silently for a few minutes.

"So," He said at last. "Are you taking the job?"

"I don't know dad." She said desperately. "I don't know what to do anymore."

"Honey," He took her hands in his, she was shaking. "What you're saying, if it's true, and if you take this job, these people will do everything, everything, to stop you. This is a very dangerous job."

"So you think I shouldn't do it?"

"I'm just calculating the facts. They will do everything to stop you. Every minute of your life you will be in danger." He stopped her as she tried to talk again. "But if you do this, you will have the chance to save thousands of lives. You can put a stop to this. But most importantly, that girl in her dying state had looked up to you. She begged you to stop them, to save kids like her who God knows what are going through.

"So you think I should do it."

He smiled. "I think you should do what you want to do. You should do what you think is right for you to do."

So Sian stayed up half the night. Thinking what she should do. Agent Grey had told her that he'd be in the diner till 10 a.m. And she made her decision at 3 in the morning and went to sleep peacefully.

Agent Grey stared at his coffee. He had 8 more minutes till it was 10. He didn't know if she would take it or not. He was obviously hoping that she did. 6 more minutes to go. If she doesn't come, he thought, I'm throwing a party tonight.

Then all his hopes went poof when he saw her walking in with a smile. She looked fresh and happy, he felt tired and doomed.

She sat in front of him and smiled. "hey." Then she took out the roll of papers and sat it on the table. "I thought we should open it together."

He felt his heart drop. "You...you're taking it."

"Yes. I am." This time, she grinned. "But in one condition. The moment this gets ugly, Grey, I'm out."

Okay, if this chapter was confusing I'm sorry. I really don't do well with explaining things. Please tell me how it was.
