Harry and Hermione were at the Ministry's office, in their brown trench coat Auror uniforms, ready to see Shacklebolt.
"Harry, Hermione, thanks for coming on short notice." Kingsley sat down to begin the briefing.
"What's the mission?" Harry wanted to know what Kingsley had planned.
"The two of you are needed to go to New York City." Kingsley explained. "There you will meet with the headmaster of Livermony, a man known as Clifford Adler, who is a very talented wizard and will love you to keep him company."
"How will we get there?" Hermione wanted to know.
"Go to Grand Central Station and you will see the platforms 25 and 26." Kingsley explained. "Go through the platforms and you will get to Platform 25.5."
"Sounds easy enough." Harry agreed.
"You will be making trade relations with the American Ministry and the British Ministry." Kingsley continued. "The MACUSA President known as Mrs. Violet Everdeen will be there, so you best respect her lofty position, because she is a Tennessee native, and they don't screw around in Tennessee."
"We will be aware of that." Hermione nodded.
"With that being said, good luck." Kingsley led Harry and Hermione to a Thestral carriage that was parked in the Thestral stalls. Harry and Hermione boarded the carriage and flew off.
"This should be exciting!" Hermione was thrilled to go to New York. "Riding in style to go to the Big Apple!" The Thestrals galloped in the air, crossing the waters from England to New York. The Thestral carriage stopped at Grand Central Station and flew off after Harry and Hermione jumped out. Then they went to find Platform 25.5. The Grand Central Station was huge with its golden walls and beautiful night sky ceiling. It reminded Harry of the Great Hall in Hogwarts.
"Reminds me of the Great Hall back at Hogwarts." Harry remarked.
"This is no time to sightsee, we're here to go to Livermony!" It was the summer, so there were no students passing through the platforms to go to Livermony, but there were MACUSA members passing through. Harry and Hermione passed through the platforms and reached Platform 25.5. The Livermony Express was blue, red and black, contrasting the red, yellow and black of the Hogwarts Express.
"Let's go!" Harry and Hermione boarded the train and headed to Livermony.
When they got there, they rode on the Wind Horse drawn carriage that led to Livermony. When they arrived, a man in a grey suit and a green vest showed up.
"Welcome to Livermony, I am Henry Major, and what are you doing here?"
"We are Aurors from the British Ministry of Magic." Hermione explained. "We come to sit with the Headmaster of Livermony and the President of MACUSA."
"Well then." Henry agreed. "I will let you in shortly." He led Harry and Hermione down the Dining Hall of Livermony. The dining hall was different from Hogwarts's Great Hall. The walls were white in color, and there was a long red carpet in the middle of the hall that led to where the headmaster sat. Clifford sat in his chair. He was a man with black hair, a shaved mustache and beard, and wore a maroon three piece suit with a black bow tie and white shirt.
"You look dashing in that maroon suit!" Hermione complimented Clifford.
"Thanks!" Clifford winked. "This is the MACUSA president, Violet Everdeen, seen in her purple hat and dress suit as she always has." She still retained her Southern heritage even in the Wizarding World.
"Thank ya kindly." She took her lipstick from her purse and applied purple lipstick, ready to begin the meeting. "Let's get down to business, shall we? She went over the agenda of the day. "Let's get the elephant out of the way, which is the collapse of Voldemort."
"I defeated Voldemort in 1997." Harry mentioned.
"And now it's 2002, hun!" Violet mentioned. "My intelligence says that some planes flew into two towers, but Bush advised the Aurors not to get involved with the war in Afghanistan, because our power could cost too many innocent lives, and if the Taliban finds out the Wizarding World exists, they could breed their own wizards and that is bad news that speaks for itself."
"Besides, we have our hands full with our own terrorist organization." Clifford explained. "The organization is known as The Order of the Dragon led by Zariah."
"Who is Zariah?" Hermione asked.
"Zariah was a member of the Order of the Phoenix and a veteran of the Battle of Hogwarts. He was a Hufflepuff, loyal at heart. After Voldemort was defeated, the Order expanded and became bodyguards that served various magical governments."
"When did he become corrupt?" Harry wondered where this was going.
"He hated the direction where the Order of the Phoenix was going, so he formed his own society called the Order of the Dragon." Violet explained. "His mission is to force Muggles and wizards to live amongst each other, and that sounds good in theory, but in reality, it's terrifying."
"So he's trying to merge the Muggle and wizarding worlds together?" Harry raised some concern.
"Yes." Violet said calmly. He's an evil madman that is the only student that went bad that was a Hufflepuff."
Later that day, Zariah stood atop a building in some city area that surrounded Livermony. He was a man with a clean shaven head and wore a green robe. He carried a staff instead of a wand, as he was doing tricks with it.
"There has been an awakening in America." He spoke to himself. He watched the birds fly in the air and watched the Wind Horse drawn carriages go by on the streets below him.
"The Boy Who Lived has come." He pulled a canteen out from his robe, drinking from it. "Once the Muggle and Wizarding Worlds merge, his time will come, and I will be remembered as the one who makes real change." He used his staff as a glider to glide into town.
