Sasuke didn't know how to feel. In fact, he could feel nothing at all. Being dead did that to you. It could be seen as both a blessing and a curse for him. His final moments weren't proud and were full of pain and a crushing sense of failure. But it was beginning to annoy him. He couldn't move, he couldn't see, none of his senses were responding. He was forced to rest in the confines of his mind, if you could call it that being intangib, and muddle over his failures.

As time passed Sasuke finally took the time to consider himself and his lack of surroundings. He honestly expected something more when the Shikigami claimed him. Even when he was dying during the Fourth Great Ninja War, he was able to do something. From what he heard from Kakashi, being dead wasn't the end of the road. There was purgatory where he had connected with his father. Then later when Obito manifested his chakra from beyond the grave led him to believe his sight the least that would remain.

Was this what the Sage of Six Paths felt for the thousands of years he waited for him and Naruto to connect to his plane? A newfound respect found its way into him for the old man. Being stuck like this for so long and still being sane enough to help save the world.

He wondered how Naruto and the rest of team seven would take his loss. Naruto would probably cry and call him a bastard. Kakashi would mourn, thinking he failed him. Sakura...she would blame herself for his death. Being unable to be there for him when he needed her. Even if it takes awhile, they'll get over his loss and move on. At the very least, they would be safe. Safe from the foe he took with him to death, and sage from him in case he lost his mind again.

Enough pondering. Focusing on where he imagined his chakra to be, he began on trying to get a reaction. If he was going to be stuck wherever he was then he wanted to have some semblance of control. It took awhile, but finally something shifted where his chakra should be. Suddenly barraging him like an explosion, he could feel again.

The wail of a baby sounded in a hospital. A new mother held her child in her arms as sighs of relif sounded through the room. It had taken hours before the head had finally poked out and the doctors were beginning to consider a C-section.

A beautiful woman with long, silky black hair and chocolate eyes wearily smiled at the bundle in her arms. Tears of happiness flowed from her eyes down her face.

Haya Arakawa was racing through emotions as her son cried in her arms. Gosh, son, she was actually a mother now. The reality of the situation was beginning to settle in as she thought back to the months leading up to this moment.

It had been hard. She had barley been in her twenties when she had met him. Haya had just finished her shift at work and was walking down the busy sidewalk when she bumped into someone.

She had looked up and met the most beautiful pair of electric blue eyes she had ever seen. The owner of those eyes was a handsome man with black hair and a short, neatly trimmed beard. She remembered being frozen in place as she stared at him, a blush creeping into her cheeks.

His gaze bore into her as he smiled, asking her if she was alright while introducing himself to her. Shaking out of her stupor, she had smiled back with a sorry for bumping him before saying her name. He greeted her then invited her to a local restaurant. She always had a weak spot for anyone tall dark and handsome so in the heat of the moment she agreed not knowing what she had just started.

After the initial meeting they had exchanged numbers and began meeting eachother more and more as time passed. With each encounter, her feeling grew. Until finally, nine months ago he revealed himself as the king of gods from Greek myths, Zeus, revealing to her a whole new world of supernatural. He warned her of the consequences of her love, and she met his eyes like their first meeting, and spoke.

"I love you, God or mortal, wether I will see you again or not, I will always love you." The love and admiration in his eyes was all she needed.

Back to the present. Her motherly instincts kicked into high gear as she wiped the tears from her eyes before whispering to her baby, a soft tone marred her lips. As if time had stopped, her baby boy quieted. Electric blue eyes curiously peered up at her.

'Beautiful,' she thought. His face was adorable and round. His eyes were the same as his fathers, but the rest of his feature resembled hers. Small tufts of silkly black hair on his head met smooth, milky pale skin. She could already tell he would be a looker as he grew up. A soft giggle left her mouth as she thought of that.

It was going to be hard raising a child as a single mother but she could do it. If Zeus could spend thousands of years working hard as a ruler, keeping her and keeping the world safe then this was the least she could do to repay him.

All that was left was to give her baby a name. She wasn't sure if it was going to be a boy or girl and she didn't want to pick a name prematurely. But, she agreed it needed to be noble, powerful. 'Like him.'

Then, it struck her, a powerful, noble name that pays homage to the sky and to her own culture. It was barley a wisper as the name left her lips but it was enough for a breeze to flow between her and her son.

"Indra. Thats your name, my lovely Indra Arakawa." Thunder rumbled outside, and she like a sixth sense, she knew it was approval and a warmth passed her heart.
