I'm in the middle of listening to Quinn tell me about her latest date with Chad when I hear little feet scurrying into the room.

"Ma. Can. Can!" I look over to the couch to see Ava pushing a pack of starburst into Santana's hand. "Open." Ava demands. Santana bits her lips in hesitation.

Things with Santana and I have been wonderful for a while now. It's almost as if our separations never even happen. I would say our relationship is even stronger than ever. I don't know if it's because we share this little precious life between us or because every day we fight against her addiction together. I don't know…maybe it's both. But whatever it is has strengthened our relationship. The only arguments we have recently are about the two year old that is currently trying to get Santana to give her candy.

Ava is a smart little girl. (As if there is any doubt that she would be anything but) And she knows it. That's how she knows to go to Santana if she wants a certain yes when she asks for something she knows she shouldn't have. And that's the problem we've been trying to work through.

I feel like we've been playing good cop and bad cop the past few months. I'm the one always telling her no and making sure she keeps up on things we are trying to teach her. Like manners. Santana, the good cop, has no problem saying yes or letting Ava get away with attitude. Yes for a two year old she can get a little attitude when she doesn't get her way. So of course Santana and I clash about it. Santana is a wonderful mother and I like spoiling my little princess just as much but we need to be on the same page when it comes to how we want to raise our daughter.

"Peas." Ava's little voice breaks me out of my thoughts.

"Santana." I shake my head when I see Santana start to open the package. Santana pauses and look over at me. I can see she's struggling with what to do. She shouldn't be. Ugh. "Dinner will be ready soon." I say with finality in my voice.

Santana sighs and puts the starburst in her pocket. "You can have a few after dinner, princess." Santana runs her hands through the pouting child hair.

"No!" Ava steps back. She doesn't say too many words clearly but "no" is the main one she has down packed.

"Okay…" Santana starts crossing her arms. "Then you want get any tonight."

Ava's lips starts quivering. "No." She says quietly.

"No?" Santana pulls her into her arms. "You're not being very good right now, Ava. I don't think you deserve candy."

"I sorry." She cries little crocodile tears.

"I know, babe." Santana kisses her forehead. "Maybe if you be good the rest of the night I'll give you some candy."

I roll my eyes and turn my attention back to Quinn who was also watching the scene. "She is such a sucker."

"Totally." Quinn agrees. "Ava is going to run both of you." Quinn burst out laughing.

"Did you give her the whole pack?" I inquire when Santana comes into our bedroom after putting Ava to bed.

"Haha." Santana starts to undress. "I only gave her two. Her favorite."

"Pink and Orange." We both say at the same time and share a smile.

"You have to stop spoiling her, San."

"I know, babe." She sighs and walks into our bathroom.

I'm halfway asleep when she comes back from the bathroom. Santana climbs into the bed, cuddling me from behind. "You sleep?"

I roll my eyes. "I'm trying to be."

"Okay…" She pulls on me until I turn onto my back. "Pause that for a second."

"What?" I laugh.

"Stay awake for a minute." Santana leans down and presses her lips to mines. The kiss is slow and gentle. The kind that makes me melt. "I just want a minute with you. Just us."

So we stay up laughing and joking around….making out like teenagers.

Fifteen years of love. I love it.

"Water." I laugh when Quinn comes huffing off the track. "Stop staring bitch and toss me my water."

I roll my eyes and walk over to her with a bottle of cold water. "Keep talking to me like that and I'll revoke your membership."

Quinn shrugs. "I haven't actually checked in at the desk in a few months. I don't know where my card is."

I shake my head. "Don't tell San that Tony is just been letting you in."

All the gym employees know who Quinn and I are but Santana has strict rules that she tries to apply. Even though our memberships are free, San still likes for everyone to sign in so in case of an emergency there would be a count of how many people are in the building.

"And get him to re-issue you a card." I instruct.

"Whatever." Quinn and I walk over to a bench. "So you're sure dinner went good?"

I roll my eyes. "Are we really going to talk about this again?"

Quinn finally, after a year, brought Chad over to the house to meet my dad's. Santana, Matt, Emily and I had met Chad and hung out a few times through the year. But Quinn didn't invite him to dinner until now. Quinn basically sees my parents as hers. My dad's feel the same way. Quinn is their daughter too. For Quinn, bringing Chad to dinner, to meet her parents is a big deal. Quinn didn't have a stable childhood. Her parents weren't supportive and Quinn never felt like she belonged. It took her eyes to come into herself. So she's very selective about who she lets into her life.

"Chad loved your dads." She grins over at us.

"I'm glad he loved our dads." I grin back. "He's a good guy and daddy is glad that one of us finally brought someone home that he can play Chess with." We both share a laugh.

"Hey ladies!" We both look up to find Alexis and a couple of other women walking onto the track.

We both wave before Quinn turns to me in say. "It's so weird that you are friends with her. She wanted to fuck your wife."

"Shut up!" I push Quinn's shoulder. "And we aren't friends." I continue. "We are just friendly. She's nice and I haven't caught her eye fucking my wife since we met."

"Mmmm…whatever you say." Quinn teases.

"Anyway…Santana wants to have another baby."

"Oh and like that's a surprise?" Quinn chuckles. "I thought you wanted more kids too."

"Its not and I do, but…" I trail off, trying to think of how I want to explain how I feel. "She also wants me to be a stay at home mom."

"And you don't want that?" We stand up to do some stretches.

"I don't know. I mean we can afford it and I would love to stay home with our babies but…I just don't know."

Quinn stops stretching to look at me. "It is a lot to consider."

I nod. "It is."

"You have time. Just relax and keep talking to Santana and I'm sure you guys will figure it out. Now come on."Quinn starts making her way back over to the track.

I nod and follow. "Maybe we can join Alexis and her posse." Quinn teases.

"Keep playing and I'll let Santana tell Chad about the time you and Matt got drunk and locked yourself outside of your hotel room naked."

"Or maybe we can let the ladies be."

"Again why were you naked?"

"Dude. Let it go."
