Yup it's been a while but I'm in college and finals are killer! I'll be on spring break next week so I'll update regularly when that comes. I know this chapter is short so I'll make the next one extra long!

Sora skipped behind Hisagi and hummed a tune while they made their way to the 9th division. Hisagi peeked behind him and couldn't help but still be perplexed by the small child. Is she really that strong? He and the other captains noticed that all of the mysterious group's reiatsu was suppressed. But Sora's was almost nonexistent, so how come she was with that group?
"Whatcha you doin'?" He jumped and noticed that he was staring at her and not moving. "Mom said it's rude when people stare. But you're not rude so what are you doing?"
Hisagi got slightly flustered for being caught and didn't know what to say, I was staring though. He coughed in his hand, "It's nothing."
Sora tilted her head cutely and blinked at him for a few seconds then smiled, "Okay!"
Hisagi continued leading them to the 9th division and soon saw the entrance, and many people waiting for him. He sighed, how did word spread so fast? When everyone saw him he was bombarded with questions.
"Is it true Lieutenant?"
"Is this person important?"
"Is it a girl?"
"Are they cute?"
"Are we getting a really strong person in our division?"
He sighed and put his hand up silencing everyone, "Yes, yes, yes, I guess you could say that, and I'm not entirely sure. Now are you all done?" everyone nodded eagerly.
"Everyone this is…" but he trailed off when he didn't see her right behind him but behind the gate that led to the division.
"Sora? What are you doing?" he asked slightly perplexed. "It's ok no one's gonna hurt you." He held out his hand for her feeling a little weird since he's never done anything like this before.
She stared at his hand for a little then took his hand and slowly walked out so everyone could see her. They all looked shocked and while everyone stared at her Hisagi spoke, "This is Sora Fukui the Head Captain has asked for us to take care of her so make her feel welcome."
Everyone was still staring at Sora and she fidgeted a little under everyone's stares and looked down with a blush, "H-hello." And that's when everyone lost it.
The woman all squealed with delight yelling "Sooo cute!" and the men were all muttering the same thing but a little less excited than the woman. Soon the woman all surrounded him and Sora all complementing her making her giggle.
"Ok, ok you guys it's getting late I have to show her to her room." Hisagi said tiredly.
"Wait you're gonna let a little girl sleep by herself in a new place?"
"How cruel!"
"She could room with me."
"No me!"
Hisagi slowly grew more irritated and without thinking he blurted out, "If she's gonna room with anyone it's gonna be me."
Everyone went quiet after that and he noticed his statement and felt the color drowned out of his face. What did I just say?!
"Ok!" everyone turned to Sora and saw her smiling at Hisagi. "I'm ok with it! Besides Hisagi's nice. But isn't it bad for a boy and girl to room together?"
The girls giggled at Sora and one of them said, "It's ok because you're only a kid."
Sora looked confused and said, "I'm not a kid."
Everyone chuckled a little and one of the girls spoke, "Of course you're not sweetie."
Hisagi looked down at Sora and saw her looking down with a sad look on her face, "Ok I think it's time for bed." He pulled Sora along away from everyone's chuckles. While leading her to his room he said, "Sorry about them."
"About what?" Sora said curiously.
"They called you a kid and you obviously don't like that." Hisagi said without looking at her. If he did he would have seen her give him a soft smile.
"Ok this is my room, well I guess our room now." He said opening the door.
She stepped in and smiled broadly, "I love it!"
Hisagi pulled out an extra futon for her while she went to the bathroom to change, she must really think she's a grown woman.
Sora emerged from the bathroom and jumped on her futon and giggled. Hisagi smiled at her antics and thought of something, "How bout I put up a changing screen for you tomorrow?"
Sora looked shocked at his statement, "Why?"
"Well wouldn't want a girl to change in front of a boy right?" Hisagi looked slightly flustered from his statement.
Soon he felt a body fly into him making him fall on his futon, "Thank you thank you thank you! You're the best Hisagi!" Sora said with a bright smile.
"No problem, I am a gentleman." He said smirking slightly.
Sora giggled then got off Hisagi, "Thank you again Hisagi. Oh! I mean Lieutenant."
Hisagi waved it off, "Don't worry about it you can call me Hisagi."
She nodded and laid down in her futon. Hisagi blew out the candle and heard Sora say, "Goodnight Hisagi!"
He chuckled a little, "Goodnight." And soon he was fast asleep.
Sora shuffled a little and looked over at Hisagi in the darkness. She got up and walked over to him and leaned down to kiss him on the cheek. "Thank you, for everything." If anyone were to see her they would see an expression much too mature for a child, but the face of a woman.
Hana walked behind Komamura's towering form and couldn't help but feel a little anxious. What if everyone makes fun of my ears and tail? What if they think I'm a freak? She was so caught up in her negative thoughts that she didn't notice Komamura stop in front of the 7th division gates. Hana ran into him and fell to the ground. Wow smooth Hana.
She saw Komamura hold out his hand for her, "Are you alright?" he asked with slight concern.
Hana took her small into his large one, "Yes thank you. I'm just worried is all."
"What are you worried about?"
Hana looked away from his concerned stare, "I-its just what if everyone in your division thinks I'm a freak? I know it's an irrational thought but…"
"It's not irrational." She looked up at him as he cut her off. "I felt the same way when everyone find out about me recently. But I assure you that my division will treat you with respect."
Hana looked at him for a moment than smiled softly, "Thank you Captain Komamura."
He nodded at her and turned to lead them both into the division. Many people were gathered in the courtyard chattering while waiting for them both to arrive. When they both saw Hana and Komamura they quieted. Many people stared at Hana but not out of disdain but curiosity.
"Everyone this is Hana Hayashi and she'll be staying with us per the Head Captain's orders. Treat her with respect." Komamura said with authority and everyone just nodded.
He saw Hana move in his peripheral and addressed his squad, "Thank you for having me and I hope we all get along!" She bowed deeply to them and gave them a bright smile.
Everyone slowly made their way over to Hana and asked her all kinds of questions. But nothing came up of her ears and tail and for that she was grateful. She looked up toward Komamura and smiled softly at him in thanks.
Komamura turned his head slightly away from Hana's gaze after she looked away from him. What is this feeling?
"I think that would be love Captain." Komamura looked to his side in surprise and saw Iba smirking at him a little.
Komamura coughed a little in his hand in embarrassment, "I don't know what you mean."
Before Iba could continue Hana walked over to them and she noticed Iba's Lieutenant Badge. She bowed to him, "You must be Lieutenant Iba, it's an honor to meet you."
Iba bowed to her also, "No the honor is all mine. If you ever need anything just let me know like if you're lost or need a sparring partner."
She looked at him quickly startling them both. They saw a mischievous look in her eyes, "Oh really? Hm I suppose you could provide a bit of a challenge but I'm determined to win."
Iba backed away slowly from her as he saw a fire in her eyes. What have I gotten myself into?
Komamura looked at her curiously, so she has a mischievous side? I suppose that comes from being part wolf. He approached her to calm her down, "How about you think of sparring tomorrow? You should get some rest first."
Hana looked at him in confusion at first then seemed to have a realization, "Of course! If I'm properly rested then it's more likely that I will beat Lieutenant Iba! Alright off to bed then! And you too Lieutenant!" Iba froze from trying to escape and looked back at her and saw her give him a toothy grin, showing her fangs, "Get a good nights sleep, I won't go easy on you."
Iba paled a little and promptly ran away, while the division just sweat dropped at their antics. Hana turned to Komamura and gave him a smile and seemed to be calmed down a bit. She followed him as he showed her to her room since his Lieutenant was hiding at the moment. They both said good night to each other and Komamura couldn't help but think how things will start to definitely change around here.
Got to see a little of Hana's mischievous side and what does Sora mean when she's not a kid? Hmmm well I'm sure most of you have figured it out but the question is why? Muhahaha! Anyway, next chapter is about Maharet and Akira. Toodles!
