Author note: I found this unfinished chapter on the computer! So I thought I might aswell finish it although I cant promise to continue the story much further :/ Especially since I have other stories in focus at the moment. But I hope you guys like this chapter though enjoy!

The silence was the only thing that seemed to consume the minimized room. Shadow almost slipped down by surprise of this confession. He could understand why the hero risked to say it now out of all places. Sonic was known to be a prankster as well but to go this far for a joke? That didn't add up to the ultimate life form. He had to test him.

"Why?" Shadow growled feeling pretty much forced to ask whenever he liked it or not. The silence had to end anyhow. Plus if he didn't speak up then Sonic would.

"Your personality attracts me is the easiest way to say it…" Sonic admitted but was pretty sure it was a bit too simple for Shadows taste. And the hero was not good with words in general which he was sure his rival was aware of.

"Then take it the hard way before I slit your throat open." The agent growled not enjoying this weird awkward moment he had no choice but to participate. Sonic gulped knowing this was clearly a one sided love so to speak.

"You are calm..like I could relax anywhere in your company even if the world was about to blow…." Shadow snorted in disbelief since that had almost occurred and Sonic was anything but calm back then.

"Finee…not when walls is going to crush us together that's…..well not the way to go." Sonic laughed trying his hard to find the best way to convince the dark hog that he felt was real.

"You are awful at this aren't you?" Shadow frowned although he was amused by this pathetic attempt.

"Yeah..But it's not like I get feelings for just anyone..heck I think you are the only one to begin with!" Sonic defended and leaned back to the wall and crossed his arms. He just couldn't find the right way to explain it could he? The ultimate life form sighed in disbelief that this was even happening.

"Give up." Shadow said harshly causing the other to flinch in surprise.

"I am Sonic the hedgehog, I never give up." The ultimate life form growled loudly, he didn't want a love sick hedgehog on his heels. The hero expected that answer so it didn't affect him the slightest.

"Are your brain cells dead faker?" Shadow glared daggers below but knew his rival couldn't see it. If they just weren't stuck in such tight place…

"Calm down Shads, it's not like its harming you." Sonic chuckled finally finding comfortable with the situation a bit better. But Shadow sadly couldn't say the same. In fact it just got worse, he had to get out of there!

"Tsk." He snorted hoping his rival would shut up already and search for a way out. But that didn't seem to be in Sonic's head at the moment! Shadow tried to ignore the other as he traced his fingers on the small slit that allowed oxygen for them. It was a cold breeze that just teased his mind reminding him of their captivity.

Eggman really did it this time! He clenched his fists in anger. Crushed by the walls might have been a more merciful fate, this was just torture. Sonic on the other hand was content. But thankfully let Shadow be for now. Sonic sent the message and it was received in the way he expected it.

The hero sighed lowly before he sat down on the chilly floor. He brings up his knees to his muzzle and buries between them.

Time passed and not a sign from his brother or anyone else for that matter. It was quiet and getting very cold. He rubbed his fingers through his cobalt fur trying to gain some warmth. The temperature just kept on dropping didn't Shadow notice it? The emerald eyes tried to locate his dark rival but failed miserly.

"Shadow…its getting very cold."

"Yes Faker I noticed." The ultimate life form snorted, this was nothing compared to the freezing pod. So from his part had nothing to worry about, or that's what he thought. Sonic swear he couldn't feel his ears or toes at this point. Stuck in one place unable to move didn't help either.

"Please Shadow I am going to freeze to death." The hedgehog below begged, Shadow sighed and let his hands lit up with chaos fire.

"Thanks, oh and you should probably come down." Sonic added and looked up to Shadow with hungry eyes.

"Why would I do that?" He replied with a growl while the other rolled his eyes.

"Unless you wish to display, of course." Shadow felt his muzzle heat up and realized his mistake. He dropped down to the floor instantly and pressed his legs tightly together. Sonic grinned at the reaction that could also be described as "cute." But pointing it out would probably be his death.

"Happy?" The agent growled with a death glare and held up his blazing hands.

"Not quite." Sonic smirked and moved up quickly to grab Shadows wrist and pull him down. His ruby eyes widened in surprise and extinguish the fire quickly before it could burn the other. The tan muzzle lands straight on the peach chest in protest.

"What the hell!?" Shadow growls and tries to push away only to feel arms wrap around his form and press him down. It was a tight grip but didn't concern the ultimate life form. He could come up with tons of different ways to escape.

"Very funny Faker, let me go now and I will brush this off as nothing. Perhaps even share my chaos fire." Shadow chuckled as he put his hands on each side of his rival but still buried in the chest. The scent of the other was almost addicting even for him. But it was just one of his blasted instincts talking.

"Calm down." Sonic said gently and moved his hands to caress the back quills lightly. Shadow tensed up surprised of the sudden affection. He should have expected such and tensed up the quills on purpose to hurt the other. But he didn't hear the yelp of pain he wanted instead there was a loud chuckle.

"Nice try Shadow." Sonic moved his fingers forcefully past the dangerous ones skillfully. He got passed the quills and felt his fingertips touch the now unprotected fur. Shadow gasped as it sends a pleasant sensation through his body. Instead of thinking rational he tries to throw himself backwards. That just result with further pressure on the spot that zapped through his senses. What is that!? It wasn't bad in fact it was very enjoyable. Shadow grits his teeth together and tries to focus.

"I remember when Rouge told me you were a hybrid alien hedgehog." Sonic started while his fingers stimulate the spot. Heat spread through Shadows body especially to his muzzle mostly embarrassed that he wished it to continue.

"I suspected that you didn't own these weak spots being ultimate all. But I guess I was wrong." Sonic chuckled and could only imagine Shadows expression right now.

"Not that it's bad." Sonic added quickly before his rival could share his thoughts. Shadow growled threatening but didn't make a move. The hero smirked victorious aware how pleased Shadow felt. The agent had his chance to escape and it's his own downfall for not taking it.

Sonic loosen his grip although he kept his fingertips firm on the spots. As expected Shadow leaned in to his neck by choice making himself comfortable. Perhaps it was cruel to use this card to get physical contact, but it's not like he did something bad. This was more considered a massage really, and Shadow clearly was new to it.

"What are you doing?!" Shadow hissed although he didn't act upon it instead shivered in appreciation. Sonic chuckled amused at his cluelessness and went from one spot to another. The hero knew exactly where to press the buttons and perked his ears as a low purr escaped his rival.

"It's almost like massage, well a bit different since this only works on hedgehogs. It's nice isn't it? Plus your warmth is pleasant, I do rather have this than that fire of yours. So it's a win win."

Shadow gritted his teeth as the low purr refused to obey him. He didn't want to like it, and by Sonic of all people.

"I find this highly intrusive Sonic." Shadow muttered even using his rival real name to sound more serious.

"You want me to stop?" Silence couldn't have been a better answer from someone like Shadow. Sonic smiled and continued what he was doing enjoying the small content sigh from the other.

"This changes NOTHING." Shadow growled with a mix of purr. Sonic shrugged it off since a small feeling of success from his part was growing. The agent on the other hand was gritting his teeth in frustration. He will show Sonic his wrath when they have escaped this room. Nobody mess with the ultimate life form and gets away, not even Sonic.

Shadow relaxed content with his thoughts and tried to keep down the shivering when it was the most pleasant. Shadow didn't wish to encourage his rival to do this stunt again by showing to much enjoyment.

But what took him by surprise was when one hand trailed off course while the other pressures the spots.

"Sonic!" Shadow growled threatening as the hand traced his spine gently, this however he disagreed on!

"Chill Shads I just-"Sonic started but was interrupted by a head-butt causing his skull to hit the wall. Curse this attraction, he should have expected that one. Shadow pulled away as he got loose from the grip and quickly backed off. Reality strikes him as he had actually allowed his rival to touch him in such discourteous way. He felt tricked.

Sonic groaned as everything was spinning, it would take a while to recover the hit. Sonic put his palm on the forehead in attempt to stabilize the dizziness without success. Well it was worth it.

"Don't ever do that AGAIN…!" Shadow got up on his feet getting as far away from Sonic as possible. Debating whenever or not to climb up again, he would rather stand though but Sonic was making everything difficult.

"We are stuck in this gawd forsaken place! So you better behave Faker! Because I am soon about to snap your neck." His ebony quills stood up furiously that went unseen to the other. Sonic finally recovered and had to admit he was playing dirty. Using the hedgehog pressure spots to make Shadow submit wasn't quite fair.

"I thought you didn't wish to kill me." Sonic chuckled amused while his head ached in complain.

"I am weighting my options." The hero paled for a bit but shake his head, there is no way Shadow would do that….or would he? Sonic bury his muzzle in his knees again before he sigh, yeah he probably went too far.

"Well thanks anyways." Shadow perked his ears in confusion forgetting completely how he ended up such situation to begin with.

"What?"

"I am not cold anymore thanks to you." Sonic smiled happily as he could feel his toes again. Shadow had been like a hot blanket over him. Sure the hero was content now but what about later? It wasn't like it would last that long. But he bet Shadow wouldn't be too keen to help him again.

Shadow however was in absolute shock staring at Sonic. Nobody showed gratitude towards him that was completely foreign. Let alone for something so simple even though the hero took advantage of it. A smile forced its way on his lips.

"You welcome."
