Hey everyone! Two things:

1) I'm sorry about the late updates. I don't know what's wrong with me. Hahaha. I literally write the next chapter maybe two or three days after I post the update. I just never bust out the computer and type it up.

2) I'm going to do a little translation for Jacob because I realize that most of my readers aren't Jamaican and can't understand the typing the way I can. haha.

Anyway, don't unfollow me! I'll try and get better! :) So, on to business! I DO NOT OWN any of the following fictional characters or places in this story.

Chapter 4

It's been three days since Niko and Jacob arrived in Los Santos. Finding the apartment was easy enough because the address was already programed into the Buffalo's navigation system. The two 'tourist' were instructed to go straight to the apartment and to stay there until instructed otherwise. The first day was simple because all they did was sleep. The second day wasn't too bad because the bit of weed that Jacob had somehow snuck on and off the plane was still enough to get him high. The third day, however, was a different story. It was now friday and even Niko was getting antsy in the small, cramped apartment so naturally, Jacob had finally had enough.

"Aye Niko." Jacob called from the kitchen.

"What is it, Jacob?" Niko answered sitting on the couch.

"Wagwan? (What's going on?)"

"Nothing." He changed the channel. "Just watching the same reruns that have been on since we first got here." He turned off the television. "I must have lost count of how many times I've watched this episode of Republican Space Rangers."

"Come mek we go ah road." Jacob said whilst throwing his friend the Buffalo car keys. Niko and him knew very well that they weren't supposed to leave but by the looks of it, Jacob wasn't going to take no for an answer, not that Niko planned to stop him. Niko caught the keys and stood to his feet.

"What could possibly go wrong?" Niko said to himself.

"Huh?"

"Nothing. Where are we going anyway?"

"Me nuh know (I don't know) Jacob opened the front door of the apartment with Niko in tow. "But I an I run outta ganja. (But I ran out of weed)" Niko just laughed and closed the door behind them. The two walked out of the building, making their way through the parking garage to the borrowed Buffalo.

"So do you know where we should look?"

"Don' know." Jacob opened the passenger side door. "Me figa we drive toward the south. (I figure...)"

"South end of Los Santos?"

"Yeah."

"Why there?" Niko slowly pulled out of the parking garage and onto the road. He put his foot down and the got a feel of the cars acceleration. It didn't pull as hard as his Sultan RS back at home did, but the Buffalo was no slouch.

"A ghetto ova ina the south side. (The hood is in the south.)"

"And of course anywhere there is a hood, there are bound to be drugs." The traffic in Los Santos was bad, but it didn't compare to the shit he drove through back home in Liberty City. The drive was quiet for the most part besides small comments between the two ad the radio. They drove from the small Apartment in Vespucci beach to lower downtown. With no luck there, they made their way to South LS.

"I need gas. Looks like we're here anyway." Niko pulled into a gas station. "This could be a good area to look." He stepped out of the car to pump the gas.

"Me need fi go to the atm to get a likkle money. (I need to make a withdrawl)" The Jamaican walked into the convenient store.

"Gas isn't cheap over here..." Niko finished filling up the car and he stood there looking at his new iFruit phone he recently picked. "This thing is just a hand held computer."

"That's right." A voice coming from behind spoke followed by the familiar sound of a handgun being cocked. "Now I'ma take dat and yo whip. Put all ya shit on top of the car!" Niko sighed and began to place his belongings on the car. He glanced inside the store and saw Jacob reacting to the situation. 'Good' He thought to himself.

"Man, just shoot dis nigga!" A second voice spoke up.

"What da fuck fo'? All we want is his shit, not his life." The first thug responded.

"What if he snitch, doe?" The second thug argued.

"Then we gon' find his has and cap 'em ourselves. We got dis nigga's info already of his wallet and shit, so if he don't want a bullet in his dome, he won't say shit after we take our leave, feel me?" Thug One said. Niko had originally planned to buy time so Jacob could get ready, but the arguing between the two was giving him plenty of time. Niko noticed his partner was in close enough range to take a shot. "Aye man, you deaf or somethin'? I said put yo fucking stuff on the car befo' I really gotta kill you, muhfucka!" Thug One pressed the gun against the back of Niko's head. Niko looked over toward Jacob's hiding spot who he assumed was waiting for some type of signal.

"No, I can hear loud and clear." Niko said loud enough for Jacob to hear. The Jamaican popped out of his hiding spot and fired a single shot from his pistol into Thug Two's chest who immediately fell to the floor.

"Wha-" Before Thug One could react to the situation, Niko turned and grabbed his arm. In a panic, the thug fired the gun but Niko over powered him, forcing the thug to turn the gun on himself.

"You want to fire the gun one more time?" Niko dared. Thug One looked him in the eye before completely releasing control of the gun to the European. He shook his head and raised both hands in surrender.

"Nah man." Thug One quietly said. Upon actually getting a chance to look at the guys, both men were dressed in mostly purple attire. "Be cool, dawg."

"Oh, don't worry. I'm cool, dawg." Niko said. Thug Two took this opportunity to try and reach for his own fire arm in his jacket. Niko didn't even react. Jacob was already standing over him with his own gun pointed at Thug Two's head.

"Don' move." Jacob commanded. The thug complied and spread his hands on the pavement so they could be seen. The Jamaican reached in the thug's jacket and pulled out another handgun, wallet, and a small knife. Niko took Thug One's belongings as well.

"You two aren't the smartest thugs around, huh?" Niko checked the thug's wallet. "Probably shouldn't walk with your I.D. card if you were planning to rob someone."

"Just let us go, dawg." Thug One pleaded. "My homie's hurtin'!" Niko glanced at the injured Thug Two. "I gotta get him to a doctor or somethin', man." Thug One said in a panic. Niko glanced around and saw that earlier gun shots drew a lot of attention to the group.

"Oi, Niko." Jacob said looking at his friend. Niko looked at Jacob and nodded, lowering his gun in the process with Jacob following suit.

"Beat it, before I change my mind." The Two thugs didn't hesitate to stumble away. Niko and Jacob didn't put their fire arms away until they were completely out of sight. "Let's go." The two were getting ready to get in the car to leave. "Hey, how'd you know when to take the shot, Jacob?"

Me neva know." He said. "Just a feeling." Niko froze for a second but then just laughed. The 'feeling' that Jacob got never failed him before.

"Aye, y'all ain't from around here, huh?"

Niko and Jacob had their guns out and pointed at the new voice before the sentence was even finished. There was a deep, loud bark from a very large and intimidating dog next to the face. "Man, chill! I'm friendly! I'm friendly!" The owner of the voice was a tall, skinny black man dressed in mostly green this time. The dog was still barking ferociously but hasn't made a move yet. "Calm down, Chop." The dog immediately be quiet and sat next the man. "See? We're friendly." Niko wouldn't put his gun down, but Jacob nudged him with his elbow.

"Chill out, Niko." Jacob put his gun away. "The bwoy (boy) alright."

"How can you tell...?" Niko was hesitant to put his gun away.

"Just a feeling."

Niko looked at him and sighed. "Alright." He put his gun away as well and the young man dressed in green relaxed.

"You haffi forgive me bruddah. Him ave' a habit a mekkin' enemy a anyone him nuh trust, seen? (You have to forgive my friend. He has a habit of making enemies with anyone he doesn't trust, understand?)"

"... Huh?"

"Don't worry about it." Niko said. "But, who are you?"

"Name's Lamar, man."
