Hey guys! A lot of stuff has been happening in my life as of late so it's fair to say that I've been very busy. But I haven't forgotten about you guys at all no worries! Michael was sitting on the couch located in Lester's living room. After he left the parking lot, he texted Lester saying he needed to talk. Lester, being paranoid and over cautious as usual, told him to come over and talk in person. And here he is. "Find anything yet?"
"Don't you think I would have told you if I found anything, Michael?" Lester answered with a question of his own.
"Well you've been at it for this last hour, I would at least think you'd be somewhere with this, Les."
"Would you like to do this?" Lester stopped typing and turned to his middle aged friend on his couch.
"No, but-"
"Didn't you want my help?"
"Well, yeah but-" Michael tried again.
"So please relax so I can concentrate."
"Alright, I'm sorry. I'm just... I'm just worried, that's all." Michael sank in his seat and sighed. About thirty seconds after that confrontation, Lester's computer screen lit up. "Got something, Les?"
"Yeah." Lester tapped away at keyboard. "You were right. There is little to no information on what David said. I'm hacked into their top secret files of the IAA." Michael walked up to Lester's shoulder to peak at the screen.
"Well, what can you find?"
"The only thing I can tell you for sure, according to this file, they're sending two hitmen after you three, specifically."
"Shit."
Lester typed away at the keyboard. "I can't find out their names thought."
"Damn. Well it's better than nothing."
"Although..."
"What is it?"
"This other file is giving me a weird chill. There's no picture of the guys, just two names." He stopped typing. "Niko Bellic and Jacob Hughes."
"Do you think those names have anything to do with us?"
"Possibly. But I'm not sure. These files are locked up tight. Do those names have any meaning to you?"
"I think McReary did a job with Niko back in Liberty City. That's all I've got, though." Michael grabbed his Jacket off of the couch and threw i over his shoulder.
"Where are you going?" Lester turned to Michael who was heading towards the exit of his house.
"I have to take Amanda on a date." Michael opened the front door. "It's our anniversary.
"Well, I'll keep you posted." Lester turned back to his computer and Michael closed the door behind him.
Franklin pulled up to Lamar's house and cut off the engine of his Coquette. He climbed out of the sports car, took out his cell phone, and punched in his childhood friend's number.
"Yo." Lamar's voice came on the line.
"Aye, nigga. I'm outside yo crib."
"Word?" Lamar's voice became distant. "My boy's outside!" There was another voice that Franklin didn't recognize. "A'ight bro. We be outside in a minute." Lamar hung up his phone and after a couple of minutes, his front door opened and Chop came running out of the house and straight to Franklin rather excitingly.
"Hey Chop Chop!" Franklin kneeled down to pet the muscular dog. "You miss me, boy?" Chop let out a bark and licked the young millionaire's face. "I missed you too, boy."
"In that case, do you want to take him back for a bit?" Lamar came to Franklin's side. To be honest, before all the events of the past year and a half or so, he would have said no in an instant, but Chop has been a great help along the way to becoming a successful robber and Franklin's become quite attached to the dog. Plus, he did a better job at raising the dog then Lamar.
"Sure man." Franklin rose to his feet and fist bumped Lamar. "So anyway, what's going on? Why'd you want to see me so soon?" As he asked that, a black male with dread and a white male with a 5 o'clock shadow walked out of the front door. "I suppose these are your new friends?" Lamar turned around and began his introductions.
"This is Little Jacob." He pointed to the dread.
"Wagwan?" Jacob said.
"Wassup, man?" Franklin nodded. Jamaican were sort of a rarity around these parts of the states. He got a strange feeling from him, but he brushed it off.
"And this is Niko." Lamar said.
"Frank." He extended his hand. Niko took his hand firmly and shook it.
"It's nice to meet you." Niko responded.
Franklin looked him over one last time. This man is dangerous. He couldn't figure him out anything past that really. He always considered Trevor to be the most dangerous man he knew and not because of his powerful friends or because of the people he commands, but because he's a psychopath. A psychopath with military training who regularly does meth and cocaine which makes him unpredictable and pretty damn bipolar. This Niko guy though... He's a murderer. A calculated, cold blooded murderer. Franklin may not be able to read him well, but he did see that this man is a different breed of criminal compared to the people that are from his home state.
"Yo, dawg. You good?" Lamar waved his hand in front of Franklin's face.
"Huh? Yeah yeah, I'm good." Franklin shook his head.
"A'ight cool. Now back to what I was saying. I need to buy this product off of these italians."
"Italians?" Franklin questioned. "What kinda product?"
"Cocaine, I'm guessing." Niko spoke up.
"And a hell of a lot of weed. I ain't too interested in the coke. Maybe sell that to ya boy or something, but the weed? Yeah, I'll take that." Lamar then threw 4 bags on the hood of Franklin's car and opened one. "1.8 million."
"Where the fuck?" Franklin was quite surprised that Lamar was able to pull together all this money. It was almost uncharacteristic.
"I've been very busy while you were, uh, away."
"So," Niko moved in closer and interrupted the two. "You want Jacob and I to watch over the meeting?"
"That's where I was going with this." Lamar closed the bag and proceeded to throwing two of the bags into the trunk of Franklin's car. "So, you in?"
"How you know we aren't cops?"
"I saw the way you handled that gas station incident. Lets be real here; you mothafuckas ain't cops." Niko looked at Jacob who simply nodded.
"Alright, we're in."
"Good." Lamar made his way to Niko's trunk. "Wanna pop your trunk?"
"Wait. What are you doing?" Franklin asked.
"What's it look like? Imma put half of the money in they car." Niko opened the trunk and Lamar put the bags in the trunk.
"Nine hundred grand in the back of a strangers car?"
"How imma trust 'em to watch our backs if I can't even trust 'em with a lil money. Feel me?"
"A true ting dat." Jacob said. Franklin thought for a minute but eventually gave in.
"Fine, you're right."
"Plus, yo lil ass trunk can't fit 1.8 mill."
"Whatever. So what's the deal here. You don't trust these fools to make a clean deal or something?" Franklin asked.
"Hell nah! You could neva trust shit like this to go cleanly. Not with this much money anyway." Lamar walked over to Chop who was laying down next to Franklin and told him to go inside.
"Alright, so you got a plan?"
"Yeah nigga. Check it out." Lamar pulled out his phone and pulled up the map app. "There's an eight story building that has a clear overlook of the meeting place. I want Jacob up there with a sniper. As for us three, we'll be on the ground for the deal."
"Simple enough, but do you have an escape plan incase things don't go as planned." Niko asked.
"Nope." Lamar said. Franklin looked at him in disbelief. "But Frank will. I heard from Jacob that you're a hell of a driver, Niko."
"I'm not bad."
"Good, because Frank's got lead driver if shit don't go right. He's the best driver in San Andreas." Lamar patted Franklin's shoulder. "You're gonna need to be a hell of a driver to keep up so we can get away with all four of our lives and the drugs."
"I'll get the job done."
"Counting on it." Lamar concluded.
"So, that's all?" Franklin asked.
"Yup. After I get the guns from inside, we're all set." Lamar looked at his watch. "We got half an hour to get to downtown. Lets get moving."
Five minutes later, they were on the road. Lamar rode in Franklin's car while Jacob was in the Buffalo with Niko. The ride for either pair was relatively quiet. Before they left, Lamar gave them ear pieces so it was easier to communicate through distance. It took about twenty minutes to get to the meeting spot. Jacob was let out down the block at the building while Niko and Franklin parked at a street corner waiting for the Jamaican's signal. Franklin finally broke the silence between him and Lamar. "You ready, man?"
"Fuck yeah. Lets get this shit done." They fist bumped each other for good luck and about thirty seconds later, they heard Jacob's voice over the ear piece.
"Testing. One. Two. Tree. (three)."
"Loud and clear." Franklin responded
"Roger." Niko responded.
"I hear ya, man." Lamar responded
Franklin waved Niko to go ahead. As the all black Buffalo passed the Metallic Silver Coquette, Franklin gave Niko a nod who immediately returned it along with a confident smirk. The two cars pulled into the open alley and were greeted by two sedans and an S.U.V. with a couple of men standing near the vehicles. "How many do you see, Jacob?" Niko asked through the ear piece.
"Me spot four a dem pon de ground and one a dem pon de fira escape to ya right with a rifle."
"That's five bodies. Let us know if anything else comes up." Franklin said.
"Aye."
Franklin walked to the back of his car and grabbed the duffle bags. Niko did the same and handed it to Lamar. Jacob was patiently scoping out the area to make sure there were no surprises waiting for the trio on the ground, Niko stood back by the cars, and Lamar and Franklin walked the four bags of money to the middle and two of the italians walked a single metal briefcase each to the middle.
"Show us." One of the italians commanded. Franklin and Lamar both complied and opened all four bags. "Alright, good."
"Yeah." Franklin said closing the bag. "Show us the stuff." The two italians opened the briefcases and revealed one full of cocaine and the other filled with Marijuana. "A'ight, cool." The four men then traded bags. "Pleasure doing business with you." The Franklin said as he and Lamar turned away to return to the cars and leave with the drugs in hand.
"No, no." One of the dealers said. Franklin's heart beat rose. The two italian deals pulled out guns. "The pleasure was all ours."
"Shit!" Franklin ducked his head and reached for his own hand gun but knew it would be too late so he braced for the bullet that was going to pierce his skin. He heard three gun shots though, as two bullets pierced the heads of the dealers and a third bullet coming from Niko's gun hit the man on the fire escape. "Holy shit..."
"Nice shot, Jacob." Franklin heard Niko's voice over the earpiece.
