Chapter 17: Public Announcement
Knock! Knock!
"Erza the door...kindly get it please..." Lucy uttered sleepily as she covered herself more with the blanket.
Knock! Knock!
"Erza~..." Lucy finally sat up in her bed to see herself being alone in the room. "Erza?"
Knock! Knock!
"Alright! Alright! I'm coming!" And with that Lucy stepped down from her bed and grabbed her pink rob to walked on towards the door.
As she stood behind the door, she swung open the door to see no one standing. She leaned towards the door to check the halls for anyone standing or running but found it empty. "Oh-kay...that's weird..." When she leaned back, she suddenly noticed a yellow object at the floor. She looked down to see a long stemmed sunflower in the floor with a yellow post it note. She bent down and held the flower in her right hand while her left hand held the note.
Good morning beauty!

Once Lucy finished reading the note she began to blush as she thought of who might anonymous would be. She then stepped back inside and closed the door.
"Who ever this anonymous would be, is definitely sweet. He knows how to make my day."
She laid down back to her bed and brought the flower close to her face as she stared at it with a big smile placed on her face, "If this is you Natsu...You are definitely doing a good job to make me fall for you."
That morning, Lucy woke up being alone in the room but once she received a sunflower in her door step, Erza has finally arrived after having her morning jog with Jellal.
Erza has mentioned to the blonde that the group would be having breakfast at the roof top and that she would be going ahead first to help fix the tables and food. So Lucy decided to take a bath after the scarlet haired girl and come after.
Lucy has finally finished dressing herself up wearing a white shear sleeveless top with a yellow skater skirt, under her clothes were a yellow two piece bikini. And one last look in her human sized mirror she smiled, "I look good..."
She then walked towards the door and opened it to be surprised once again this morning, "W-what is this?"
A bouquet of yellow dandelion lays down in the door step once again with other yellow petals scattered in the hallway leading somewhere. Lucy picked up the bouquet and closed the door behind her and stared at the scattered petals. She then noticed a note again,
hey beauty!
Another flower for you.
See you at the top and with that bright smile of yours

Despite shocked with what she is seeing and reading, she can't control herself to smile wide as she followed the pathway the petals did. The pathway lead up to the rooftop and ended at the closed door to the roof top. With a shaking hands, she turned the knob and sunlight met her eyes. Once the door opened wide, she sees the man who have been making her smile all morning.
"Morning Luce..." Natsu then stepped forward and extended his hand for her to hold on. Lucy warmly accepted his hand while her face began to color red.
"You're blushing...is it because of me?" Natsu teased as he pulled Lucy in in the rooftop. With his comment, Lucy shyly hit his arm which made Natsu pretended he was hurt.
"It's your fault making me all flustered..."
"That's part of making you mine" Natsu then smiled wide as he stood in front of her.
Before Lucy could answer back to the pink head, Levy began to call her, "Lu-chan!"
Lucy stepped back and peeked at the side of Natsu to wave hello to her friend, "Hey Levy-chan! Morning!" Levy then pulled the blonde and walked towards a table. But once Lucy walked ahead the blue haired walked back to Natsu and whispered, "You'll get your chance of lone time with her later...Bye!"
Nutsu chortled at her comment before he turned himself and walked towards his friends.
After having breakfast, the group decided to take a swim in the pool located inside the hotel. The guys were trailing their girlfriends as they carried their bags. "I didn't signed up to be a boyfriend who carries a girlfriends bag!" Gajeel grumbled as he walked behind the petit blue haired beauty.
Levy glared at him as she looked at her back, "We can break up if you want!"
"No! I was just kidding!" Gajeel then ran next to her and wrapped his arm to her shoulder.
Everyone giggled at the two as they watched them argue like a married couple. Lucy and Natsu on the other hand was at the back of the group as they talked as if they had their own world.
"So...you are anonymous right?"
"What are you talking about?" Natsu looked away as he tried to hid his face from the blond
"The flowers, the notes, the petals...Its you" Lucy stated as she leans to peek at Natsu's face
"No its not me..." Natsu glanced at her face which only made him smile, "Why someone gave you flowers?"
Lucy pouted as she moved back and crossed her arm, "Liar..."
"Well,so what if someone gave me flowers, he is a sweetheart! Not like you!" Lucy continued
"Hey! I'm a sweetheart too!" Lucy and Natsu then stood close as they stared at each other. Lucy had to look up as she glared at the pink head while Natsu had to look down to stare at the shorter girl.
"Hey love birds! Are you coming or what?!" Gray suddenly shouted as the group looked back and glanced at the two.
Natsu and Lucy then turned their gaze to their friends and shouted together, "We are not love birds!"
"Yeah yeah whatever...Come on!" Gray retorted as he turned around and pulled Juvia to walk again. And soon the group continued to walk towards the pool.
"We are not love birds..." Lucy said again as she stared back at Natsu who only gave a cheeky smile, "Well...not yet, but soon" and with that Natsu walked ahead while he brushed his hand to her arm to grab her wrist.
The group has spent the day in the pool and the beach. From time to time, the group met new people and made new friends. Some girls were somehow flirting the dragonslayers while some guys flirted with the girlfriends of the dragonslayers.
But a certain pink head was so free in flirting with single ladies, "You look good in that pink two piece of yours."
"Really? How about none?" a brown haired girl flirted as she run downs her finger to Natsu's bare chest
"That... would look better..." Natsu said back as he stared back at the brown haired girl
"Let's go to-"
"How bout I take my friend and leave you alone?" Lucy suddenly butted in as she pointed at the girl
"Excuse me?" The girl then steps back crossed her arm with a curious look to the blonde
"Yeah you heard me right...My goodness Natsu, I can't believe your flirting with her."
"Why? I'm single..." Natsu then turned to her and stepped closer
Lucy was taken a back before she stood straight and gave a confident look, "Alright...Then I'm single too to entertain men...bye~." And with that Lucy turned her back and waved bye to her friend.
With that Natsu ended up to be the surprised one. Being too shocked he almost forgot he was with a girl, "Natsu-bear, lets go to my room."
"Wh-what?" Natsu asked back as he turned to look at her
"I said lets go to my room and have-"
"No. I was just making her jealous. Thanks by the way" Natsu cuts her off before he turned and tried to walk towards Lucy. And for the girl, she was left gasping.
As soon as Natsu saw Lucy, he rushed a little bit faster and saw Lucy chatting with a good looking guy."Luce!"
Lucy then shifted her gaze and saw Natsu running towards her, "Oh Matt this is Natsu, my friend" finally Natsu stood next to her and stared at the man in front of them who extended his hand to him.
"Sup man" the man named Matt said as he smirk at the pink head
"Cool. Now can I talk to her in private?" Natsu said back without even shaikng Matt's hand
"Why? I'm still talking to her."
"Yeah Natsu...wants got in to you?" Lucy asked as she gave a wicked look at the pink head
"We need to talk seriously." Natsu then faced her with a serious look
"No man, I got her first!"
"Shut up!I'm not talking to you!" Natsu shouted back which made Lucy surprised
"Hey look-!"
"Back off! Before I kick your sorry ass!"
"Okay just stop you two!" Lucy finally stood in between as she glanced at them both."Matt, see you next time, I just need to talk to him."
And with that Matt left giving a dark glare to Natsu.
"Okay Natsu what was that all about?!"
"You making me freaking jealous, alright! You win! I'm mad because I'm jealous!"
"What? You're jealous? With Matt?" Lucy asked beginning to smile at him
"Well who else?! I hate it Luce! I hate it when other guys begin to show they like you and that you like them back!" Natsu ranted as he stared at the blonde girl in front of him.
"Well its your fault you didn't ask me out..." Lucy stated as she crossed her arms under her chest. Instead earning a response from the hunk teen, she was pulled in the middle of the crowd, "Natsu! Where are we going?"
"EVERYBODY LISTEN UP!" Natsu shouted
"Natsu!" Lucy whispered at the same time shouted
"I HAVE SOMETHING TO TELL TO THIS GIRL!"Natsu then pointed Lucy which made her blush
"AND I WANT EVERYBODY TO KNOW!"
Soon enough everyone in the beach looked and stared at the two. The dragon slayers pushed through the crowds to see what Natsu was up to.
"Lucy..."
"Natsu...what are you-"
"I want to formally ask you..." Everyone started cooing and making comments how sweet was things happening.
"If I can court you like in the old days...bring flowers, chocolates, leave notes in your door-"
"So you are anonymous!" Lucy leaped in joy as she was becoming overwhelmed with what was happening
"Yes. Yes I am. Now will you allow me to court you to be my girlfriend?" Natsu then knelt down and stared at the shocked blonde.
"Y-yes..." Lucy then smiled as she waited for Natsu to stand up. And once he did, she jumped to hug him tight and whispered in his ear, "Make me fall inlove with you more..."
