Chapter 18: Tricks

It was that afternoon when Natsu suddenly made an announcement in public asking Lucy if he could court her to be his girlfriend. The blonde said yes happily telling the pink head to make her fall for him even more. Hearing this from her, Natsu became more motivated to become her 'forever' boyfriend.

That night, the group celebrated the finally admitting couples. Each one of them held some alcoholic beverage as they all cheered for Lucy and Natsu. "Guys! This is for Natsu and Lucy and for their future relationship one day!" Loke shouted as he held his drink up making the others copy him.

"Cheers!" Everyone unison shouting

As the group celebrated, Natsu and Lucy were totally embarrassed as they watched them. From time to time, they would be glancing at each other making them even more flustered. From the start, Natsu sat at the end of the old tree trunk in the beach while Lucy sat at the middle of it. The two were the only sitters making them watch their friends. But unconsciously the two kept on moving closer until suddenly Natsu bumped Lucy which made her look at him.

"Sorry..." Natsu then looked away as he tried hiding his flushed face

Lucy just stared at the blushing guy next to her until she giggled finding his actions amusing, "You're sorry because you bumped me?"

"Huh?"

"But you're not sorry that you stole my first kiss before?" Lucy asked as she kept her smile to the hunk teen

"A-about that-"

"Its fine...I actually really hoped before that you would be my first kiss..." Lucy cuts off Natsu as she began to blush as well making him smile back at her and chuckle

"Good..." Natsu then kept his gaze at the blonde which made her uncomfortable a bit but then she returned the gesture as well.

As if the world stopped, the two just kept their gaze at each other as if no one was there except for them. As they continued their gaze, the group suddenly went silent as they observed the two who was in their own world. They held their breath as they watched them lean slowly, until...

KYAAAA!

Juvia suddenly screamed as a bug began crawling her legs. Everyone then looked at her and Gray then dusted off the bug from her leg. He chuckled at her girlfriend because she began to blush because of her childish action. When they got over it, they looked back at the future couple and found them staring back at them.

"Are you okay Juvia?" Lucy asked she questioned the blunette

"Huh..uh, yeah..sorry about that.." Juvia replied shyly as she moved closer to Gray. The male then wrapped his arm to her shoulder pulling the beauty closer to him.

Gray then cleared his throat," Yeah sorry 'bout that...you may continue what you were suppose to do.."

"What?!" The two shouted as they suddenly blushed making the whole gang to laugh at them.

As the two continued to look at their friends, the two only thought of one idea, this night wouldn't end without teasing us...

When the two thought that the night wouldn't end, they ended up to be wrong. After 2 more hours celebrating, the gang decided to sleep. Unfortunately they all slept with their partners making Natsu and Lucy have no choice but to sleep in the same room.

As they entered Lucy's room, Lucy puts down the card in the bowl in the table next to the door and dropped her sandals. As she walked inside, Natsu silently followed her after closing the door.

"Uh Luce..."

"I'm in the room...don't come in yet, I'm changing!" Lucy shouted

Natsu then nods to himself before he began walking around the place. He ended up in the sofa laying down because of exhaustion. Since he was only in his board shorts, he fell asleep half naked.

As Lucy finished changing, she went straight looking for Natsu. As she looked for him, she called out for him but he didn't answer until she passed by the living room, and there she saw the half naked teen asleep. She walked closer to him then kneeled down to watch his sleeping face down to his chest then back to his face.

Lucy then bits her lower lip as she gave one more glance at his perfect body, those hard chest, his well built biceps, his oh so yummy abs...wait what am I doing?!

Lucy shook her head then ended up looking at his face then sighed deeply, "Despite being loud, you have a peaceful face when you sleep."Lucy then yawns as she kept her gaze to him

Lucy then stood up but suddenly stopped midway because a hand griped her wrist. This made the blonde surprised so she looked down and saw Natsu holding her wrist.

"Natsu? Are you awake?" Nothing came but murmurs from the pink head so Lucy tried to pull her wrist but it won't budge. So she kneeled down again then whispered to the salmon haired teen, "Natsu...can you let go of my wrist now? Please?"

Lucy didn't get a good answer because all she heard was murmuring. She was really tired and she wanted to sleep already cause it was 3:20 am already so in desperation she flinched Natsu's forehead which woke him up.

"Ouch! Who the-!"

"Sorry..." Lucy suddenly apologized as she shyly watched at the woken pinkette. Natsu then glanced at the blonde below and gave a curious look, "wh-what are you doing down there?"

"Me? Oh uh...you wouldn't let go of my wrist when I was about to go to the room..but since you wouldn't wake up I had to flick your head..." Lucy then stood up before she dusted the invisible dust in her shorts.

"Alright...Good night Nat-"

"Wait!" Natsu then grabbed her hand and pulled her to stop.

Lucy then looked at him, "Yeah?"

"Can I sleep next to you?" Lucy suddenly blushed at the thought which made her speechless a bit but then tried to answer back, "u-uh...I-I don't kn-know...what i-if they s-s-see us to-together? They'd t-tease us..."

"So what? We always sleep next to each other..." Natsu then completely pulled Lucy making the blonde tumble and squeak. Lucy suddenly sat on his lap which she moved out fast but was stopped by the male teen.

"Please?" Natsu then smiled warmly as he plead the blonde

Lucy couldn't resist his cute face which she secretly admired suddenly nods at him, "fine! But FYI, you always sneak into my room."

"I know!" Natsu then snaked his arms under Lucy's knees and back then stood up and carried her bridal style.

"Kyaa! NATSU! Put me down!" Lucy then struggled in his arm which made Natsu have a hard time, "Luce! Stop resisting we're going to fall! Ahhhh!"

And with that the two suddenly fell into bed ending up in a weird position. Natsu was on top having his legs caging the blonde who was underneath him. His arms were supporting his weight as he was few inches away from Lucy's face.

"Uh, Luce don't move if you don't want to be kissed..." Natsu sees her slightly nod before he tried pushing himself up.

But the more he moved the more he was like leaning towards the beauty. So Lucy then tired to warn him," Natsu I don't thi-"

The moment she tried to warn him, his lips then lands at her lips making her stop from speaking. The two became wide eyed at what happened so Lucy suddenly pushed him in surprise making the hunk teen fall out of bed.

BOUG!

"Ow..." Lucy then sat up and looked down at the teen, "Sorry! I just-"

"I told you not to move if you-"

"I didn't move! I just-"

"Alright alright...help me up." Natsu then extends his hand which Lucy held to help him stand up but what she didn't expect was that Natsu would pull her down.

With that pull, the blonde then fell out of bed and once again fell into Natsu. This time, Lucy was on top sitting at his lap and was inches again from touching each other's lips. "Alright Natsu, enough tricks!" Lucy then leaned down and kissed him full with closed eyes.

Before Natsu could understand what's happening, Lucy pulled away and stood up. She then crawled to bed and went under the soft blanket. Natsu was left dumbfounded and stared at the sleeping figure.

"Are you coming to bed or what?" Lucy then called out as she glanced at her shoulder. Natsu still surprised finally stood up and crawled next to the blonde in bed.

He lied down next to Lucy and stared at her back. But soon enough Lucy rolled closer to him making her sleeping really close. And instantly, his arms wrapped around her waist and held her close, "good night Luce..."

"Night Natsu..."
