WHAT IS WITH ME AND NOT BEING ABLE TO STAY FOCUSED ON A SINGLE STORY

Seriously though, I'm supposed to be writing two other stories right now. They're just sitting in docs, waiting for me to get internet access so I can upload them to fanfic. I decided to upload this one on account of it being my favorite so far, but I have no schedule yet for it.

Anyway, let's begin!

This story is rated M for frequent sexual references, violence, gore, and a few more bad things. No lemons.

2 quadraped Pokemon walked through a decently populated town. The dirt road was packed down from years of Pokemon traversing it, which many were doing right now. The male of the two quadrapeds had a leaf on his head, with another leaf for a tail. His name was Aloe. His companion was an Espeon, her fur mostly straight, with a few patches sticking out, in heavy contrast to his, which stuck out everywhere, the leaves on his chest slightly brown. The Espeon's name was Azura. The only signifying detail that would show they travelled together, was a small silver band on their legs. Azura had hers on her right foreleg, Aloe had his on his left. Both of their paws were dirty from working an entire day, the mud caked on them. Aloe lifted his head from the ground, staring around at the wooden structures around them. He dodged a mud hole, accidentally bumping into his partner.

"Watch where your going, Aloe. I don't need you knocking me over. This days already been bad enough." She hissed at him, her voice light and feminine, if a little scratchy.

"What's got you down? It hasn't been so bad." The Leafeon shrugged, still walking beside his mate.

"Really? How could you not know? You were there!" She raised her voice, stopping her walk and glared at Aloe.

Aloe flinched, muttering something unheard to Azura. "You lost this week's paycheck! All because you just had to see what the new berries taste like!" She began to shout.

Aloe pulled back, lowering his head and muttering something again. The two worked on a farm nearby, which grew berries. Aloe's job was to stimulate the plants to grow faster, which made him walk for hours around the entire field they grew in. Azura's was using her Psychic to pluck the berries, till the soil, and to transport the berries to a storage. They weren't the only workers there, but she was the only Psychic. The two were a major part of the farm, yet were payed the least. They had an idea as to why, but the owner simply shrugged it off.

"I'm sorry…" He muttered.

She sighed, looking at the Leafeon. She immediately regretted shouting at him, seeing his head lowered. It hurt her heart seeing him sad, but her short temper caused him emotional pain that she didn't mean to cause.

"It's fine. Want a drink? I still got my pay. It won't cost much." She used her Psychic to unbuckle a bag she had at her side, and floated a smaller bag containing a decent amount of small coins.

He perked up and quickly nodded, beginning to smile. She couldn't help but grin, and began leading him to one of the buildings. It's large wooden porch smelled of woodrot, as most of the town did, being built in a damp region. The summers were hot, the air barely breathable after a hard day of work, while the winters were dangerous and cold. Azura once knew an Eevee who evolved during winter into a Glaceon, only to die from a heat stroke a week after spring started. The town had horrid living conditions, but luckily, the two had saved up enough over time to get out. This week, they planned on leaving. Aloe's paycheck was going to be used for food ice they arrived, but they could go without it for a week or two. They soon entered the building, which reeked of alcohol, woodrot, and the tiniest hint of bodily fluids. It was a tavern. The only one in town that was functional enough to not kill from improperly made alcohol. It wasn't very cheap, the owner knew his was the best in town, so he kept the prices high. The two Eeveelutions made their way to the bar, ignoring any of the other Pokemon sitting at tables and playing card games, drinking, and talking loudly. Azura hopped up onto one of the stools, sat down and waited. Aloe did the same, hopping up. They looked at a mirror that sat in front of them, a bit aways from the bar.

"I look like shit." Azura sighed.

Indeed she did. It looked as if she had tread through miles of it, but luckily it was only dirt.

"Don't say that. You're the best looking girl in town." Aloe responded.

Azura shrugged and stared into her own tired, purple eyes. Her companions eyes seemed just as tired. The sun hadn't come out once that day, the clouds blocking it. It was as if the gods made it purposely so he couldn't photosynthesize. Sure, he didn't necessarily need it, but if he wanted to stay sharp and energized, he required the rays of the sun. A Heliolisk behind the bar noticed them and walked towards them, leaning on the bar.

"What can I getcha?" The bartender asked.

Azura waved a paw dismissively. "Same as always."

The Heliolisk nodded, and reached under the counter, pulling out two bowls and setting them down. He reached under once more, pulling out a glistening purple bottle. He popped the top off, and poured the clear contents into both bowls. He corked it back on, set the bottle down, and walked back to where he was previously, talking to a barely conscious Absol.

"The classic stress remedy. That, and another thing." Aloe mused to himself, sliding one bowl towards himself.

Azura grinned, bringing the remaining bowl to her using Psychic. She brought her face towards it, inhaling the scent of the drink. She shivered a bit, before lapping up the liquid. The sting of the alcohol slipping down her throat faded after a few seconds. The fruity flavoring was nice to her taste buds, after the initial sting faded, but the buzz she got after a few bowls was what she really cared for. She pulled her head back, the drink dripping from her chin as she inhaled a large gulp of air. She looked to her partner, who seemed as if he didn't need to breath at all. He was quickly lapping down the drink, not coming up for air once. She assumed it was his leaves. She stared at the crinkled, slightly offcolor appendages. She always adored teasing him about them, but stopped after he took a joke to seriously once. She didn't realize she stared so long, and when Aloe pulled his head back and inhaled lightly, he turned and stared back at her, grinning.

"See something you like?" He teased her.

Azura snapped out of her trance, which was about his leaves, and stared up into his eyes.

"Yes, you. If I didn't like you, why would I marry you?" She responded, turning back to her drink.

He sighed, watching her continue drinking. "Probably because I'm insanely rich."

She stopped drinking and looked at him. "Don't we both wish."

He chuckled, as she continued to finish her drink, before digging into her bag with Psychic and pulling a few coins out. She placed a few in her bowl, then some in his. The two hopped down, Aloe already swaying a bit. The duo started out, leaving the tavern and walking back into the street. The dark clouds overhead signalled the downpour that was going to happen eventually. And unluckily for those two, eventually was now. The sky fell out quickly, the road almost instantly turning into mud. Azura sighed, her eyes glowing blue as an invisible shield appeared over the two Eeveelutions. They stepped off of the porch, the rain not touching them as the two started down the path once more. Aloe nuzzled Azura's side, causing her to smile. The shield faultered for a split second, and the rain tore it down as If it was a paper towel under a faucet. They were drenched in seconds, making Azura sigh. A sweet smell filled the air, eminating from the Leafeon, somehow ignoring the rain. She knew the ability very well. He would use it to calm her down when she went too far off on one of her random temper spikes. She disliked the idea of her emotions being controlled so easily, but couldn't find it in herself to make him stop. But, she wasn't angry right now. She had a very good idea as to why he was releasing the smell at that moment.

"Love, you know that doesn't work anymore. Maybe the first few times, but the side effect doesn't work." She grinned at him.

He pouted. "But… I earned it, didn't I?" His speech was slow, beginning to slur a bit.

She shrugged. "You really can't handle your drink. Whatever, let's get home before Jacky starts to worry."

He sighed, nodding. The two drenched Pokemon continued walking, the rain pelting them hard. They began speeding up, the mud beginning to fling behind them and they ran. The storm was getting bad. Very bad. They could see the fields outside of town flooding, Azura internally groaning at the thought of all her work being for naught. They flew into a slightly better looking porch, before tumbling into the building, the door flying open. Aloe giggled a bit as the two rolled, and when they came to a stop, they were in a… compromising position. Aloe grinned down at Azura, his eyes scanning down her body.

"Hey! Not again!" A voice shouted.

Azura snapped her head towards a desk, where an elderly Vaporeon sat, angrily staring at the two.

"I dont need you two makin' another runt in my lobby again!" The Pokemon said.

Azura blushed a bit, kicking Aloe in the stomach, making him roll off of her.

"Sorry, Ma'am. He's a bit tipsy, and we slipped." Azura apologized, as the Leafeon began wretching loudly, because of the kick to his stomach.

The Vaporeon mumbled something, before sighing. "You were both drunk last time. And now you leave your little Giratina running around here for me to take care of."

"He can't be that bad, can he?" Azura prodded.

Aloe stopped his wretching, wobbily standing up. "I… don't need… to drink."

He fell over, fainting. Azura sighed, as the Vaporeon grinned. "Nah, he's fine. Just a bit annoying. Now HIM." she pointed at Aloe. "He's the worst of our species I've ever met. I mean, grass types are known for their horrible alcohol immunity, but damn! Every day you two get a drink, he's always drunk."

Azura shrugged. "Eh, he's fine. Thanks for watching Jacky all these years. We'll be out of your fur tommorow, so don't worry anymore."

The old Vaporeon seemed shocked for a second. Her playful smile fell, and she looked sad. "Really? Where are you going?"

Azura looked at her mate on the floor. He passed out drunk from a single bowl. She grinned, knowing she could probably beat anyone in the entire town in a contest without getting drunk. She was about to respond when the door opened, and an Umbreon walked in. His tired eyes scanned over the room, before he walked around the 3 other Eeveelutions, heading up a set of stairs to the left. Azura looked back to the Vaporeon, who grinned a bit at the sight of the Umbreon.

"We're moving to Fenz City. We've collected enough for one of the apartments. By the way, who was that Umbreon?" Azura asked.

The Vaporeon began grinning madly. "He's the love of my life. Moved in a few months ago, and squeezed his way into my heart last month."

She looked around quickly, before leaning forward. "Just wish he'd actually sleep with me, instead of sleep with me. If you get what I mean."

Azura made a disgusted face and fell backwards. "I didn't need to know that last bit. But, he seems a little young for you."

The Vaporeon shrugged. "Hey, I'm only 109! I basically just passed the prime of my life!"

Azura nearly choked on air. "109!? Kalia, How long do Vaporeon's live!?"

Kalia, the Vaporeon, shrugged. "Don't know. Im the only one I know."

Azura sighed. "And how hold is he?"

"Uhh… I think he's 39?"

Azurs shook her head, looking over to her mate. "Well, anyway, good night Kalia. I don't know if you'll be here in the morning to see us off, so I'll say goodbye right now."

Kalia smiled, nodding. "I'll make sure to get up early. Your family is like an adoptive one to me. I might be an ass sometimes, or the grumpy old lady, but I'll still miss you guys."

Azura smiled, and without another word, walked over to her mate. She lifted him up with her Psychic, and dropped him into her back. She started up the stairs slowly, slightly annoyed at the Leafeon on her back. Each breath he took sent a shiver down her spine, but she ignored it and made it up to the next floor. She started down the hall, opening a door easily, and entering then shutting it. She walked to the bed and dropped him down in it. The Espeon looked around the room, searching for a certain brown fluffball. Her search was rewarded when she spotted the small Eevee, soundly asleep on the floor. His face was straight on the ground, as if he fell asleep sitting up, and then fell. She grinned, before floating the Eevee onto the bed. She dropped him on the pillow, before climbing into the bed. She snuggled close to her mate, his leaves shivering in response. She closed her eyes, beginning to drift off to sleep.

Ok, these chapters probably won't have a definite length. Just up to certain points, like an event happening or something. My others (that I haven't posted yet) have 3k or so for each chapter, but this one I don't want to get bored of cause of the length. Review if you want to, anything helps! (As long as it isn't something random)
