Chapter 20: Good night

"Go Natsu-nii! Faster!"

Asuka Connell, child of Lucy's and Natsu's professor in Fairy High, came to the beach and greeted the two. As the child said that she was to play with her onii-chan, she declared Natsu had to be the big brother that morning.

Asuka was taken care of Lucy and Natsu along with the rest but Natsu was the one being 'bothered' (according to Natsu) by Asuka. Afternoon came; Asuka won in a mini game with the pinkette and caused him to do everything the little girl asked.

And for that afternoon, Asuka is riding Natsu's back and forcing him to run as fast as he could in the beach as if he was a horse. "Run Natsu-nii! Go! Go! Go!"

"I can't run any faster! It's hard here in the sand!" Natsu ranted as he kept running back and forth in the beach

"No! Faster! You said you'd do everything!" Asuka shouted back as she tapped his back to make him faster

"But I can't-"

"Go Natsu! Ganbatte!" Lucy cheered as she saw him giving up but because of her cheer Natsu brightened up and shouted back, "I'm all fired up! Let's go!"

Natsu began to speed up which made Asuka cheer delightfully, "Natsu-nii! Natsu-nii! Go! Go! Go!"

The sun was about to set and the dragon slayers who spent the whole afternoon playing with Asuka is all wasted and tired. The girls made sure the little girl had food to eat and pampered while all the guys had to be a fun ride for the little child.

As they all gathered in one place to rest, a green haired beautiful woman along with an ink black haired man walked towards the group. "I see you're all tired…"

Everyone suddenly shifted their attention to the new voice and their eyes grew big seeing their professor in front of them, "Mrs. Connell!" Levy shouted as she finally snap out of her surprise

"Hello teens, I see you all with my daughter" Alzack replied as he smiled merrily at everyone then ended to Asuka.

"Papa! Mama!" Asuka stood up quickly and ran up to her parents then was carried by her dad

"Well to give thanks to you all for taking care of our daughter, how about we treat you all dinner?" Bisca replied as she held her daughters hand

"Cool! Food!" Natsu suddenly cheered as he began pulling Lucy up which made everyone chuckle, "But we're too many…and many of the guys eat a lot!" Lucy warned the couple

"We know…But who cares? It's summer!" Bisca then cheered as she began pulling Levy and Erza to stand up

"Alright don't say no to grace! Come on guys!" Erza then commanded everybody to stand up which they all complied with no fear.

As soon as everyone was on their feet, the couple then walked back to their hotel along with the gang who were all happily excited to eat and hang out with their professors.

"So how long will you all are staying here in Bassia town?" Bisca asked as she fed her daughter who gleefully ate it

"We planned to stay here for the whole summer." Gray replied

"Whole summer? How about your families?" Alzack asked back as he looked at the teen

"Well my parents are going to come here because basically they own the hotels…" Gray said back before looking at his friends to see them shrug off the news

"Well Juvia's parents are visiting Fiore-which basically here in Bassia since they came from France." Juvia countered as she looked at her boyfriend who got surprised for the idea of meeting her parents finally.

"Well looks like Gray will be meeting the parents already!" Bisca merrily stated as she looked at everyone which made everyone giggle seeing Gray turn a little pale

"Gray's in big trouble! Meeting the parents coming from France!?" Loke teased as he earned laughs

"Hey you sound like I did something wrong with Juvia!" Gray retorted to Loke

Juvia then giggles at her boyfriend as she stared at his pale face. She then embraces his arm then leaned to his shoulder, "Well you did Gray-sama…"

"What?! What did I do?!"

"Oh no Juvia! Are you pregnant?! You're-" Lissana suddenly yelped as she thought of something but was cut off by Bisca

"Fullbuster what have you done?!"

"W-wait!" Juvia suddenly tried to stop everybody from ranting nonsense

"Okay everybody settle down…Ms. Lockser is going to say something." Alzack then holds Bisca's hand to calm her down

"J-Juvia? A-are y-you-"

"Baka! Of course not! We didn't do anything…You just made me fall in love with you so hard…" Juvia then smiles at him then to everyone in the table who all had a snooping look at her

"That's it?" Erza asked shuddering

"Yeah…You all just made some conclusion without even asking." Juvia then smiled slyly

"Well what a big misunderstanding…next time let's know it first before making some conclusions…" Lucy said before she began to laugh at their stupidity.

Everyone started to laugh as well until they heard the pinkette to speak up, "Whar wher wyall shokiing abwout?"

"What?! Don't talk when you're mouth is full idiot!" Gajeel snapped as he stared quizzically at the teen

"Whar whayu coyed me?!" Natsu answered back

"I said-!" Gajeel shouted but was cut off when Lucy slammed Natsu's back real hard

"Ohh! What was that for?!" Natsu then looked at Lucy who only gave a death glare

"You should have not talked with your mouth when it was full…" Levy commented as she continued to eat her food

"Okay…but I said a while ago, what were you all talking about?—OWW!"Natsu suddenly shouted in pain as Lucy hit him in the head

"what was that for?!"

"Natsu-san was not listening to the conversation after all..." Aries then giggled at the pathetic look of the pinkette. Soon Sting also commented before everyone laughed along with him, "Natsu's too busy eating awhile ago!"

"Well that's Natsu…" Jellal added while laughing

Everyone then continued their dinner with full of laughs and smiles. The dinner ended when finally little Asuka has fallen asleep in Alzack's arms. Both professors bid their good night and left to go back to their rooms.

The gang then decided to head back in their hotel room to rest already because tomorrow would be another fun day for them. All couples then gave good night kisses to their partners in the lips then to their friends before they went off to their rooms.

Lucy and Natsu were the last two left in the hall as they said their good night with a hug. As Natsu turned his back and so as Lucy, the blonde suddenly called the pink head again, "Natsu!"

"Yeah?"

"Uhh…I know that we should have spent the day together but I really had fun playing with you and Asuka." Lucy then stepped closer to Natsu

"Well even if I was 'tortured' by that little girl, I had fun too." Natsu then smiled warmly as he stepped closer as well

Lucy then giggled before looking up at his eyes with a smile in her face, "Good night…"

"Good night…"

The two just stayed in their position staring at each others' eyes as if reading who will do a move first but it seemed no one dared to move.

But to Natsu's surprise, Lucy then leaned sideways and kissed his cheek then stared at his face, "Good night" Then Lucy turned her heel to walk towards her door.

As soon as she opened her door, she heard a sound of falling down on their butt.

"Ow…"

"Erza? What are you doing by the door?" Lucy suddenly asked as she extended her hand to help her up

"Uh…eavesdropping, I guess." Erza replied shyly which made Lucy giggle quietly then pulled her friend to their room

"Alright…let's just sleep."

Meanwhile, as Lucy entered her room, Natsu stood still with a slight blush on his face. After a few minutes of standing there, he cleared his throat then turned his heel and unlocked his door. But before entering his room he stated loudly, "The show is over! Get your asses to sleep!"

And with that everyone was tuck in their beds with smiles on their faces.
