6 months later….

Bulma was seemingly getting bigger by the minute, which was something she didn't fondly remember from carrying Trunks. That and the appetite that came with carrying a demi saiyan!

Sitting in the kitchen she waited for her mom to make them a lunch of her favs: roast chicken pasta with garlic bread and dessert was strawberry shortcake! She was picking at the strawberries naturally(who could resist?) when vegeta walked in from, training.

"vegeta you reek!(gags) take a shower, NOW"

"woman I do not reek!" he sighed..'only 3 more months of hell left, at least I can train.' He left to shower to satiate Bulma so he could eat in peace. Though before he could shower he was stopped by a somewhat frazzled Trunks.

"Umm dad? Can I ask you something?"

"Hn"

"Can I stay at Goten's until after the baby? I mean mom burst into tears today when pickingme up at school saying hoe big and mature I am and not her liitle baby anymore. It was SO EMBARASSING!'

"The hell you will trunks, if I must deal with her so must you, there is the option of spending your free time training with me under my conditions, you've been slacking as for matters in public your on your own, I will not be doing those activities"

"uhh on the other hand dad I can manage for a few months, it will be better!" he quickly ran downstairs smelling his grandmother's food and getting distracted.

'Oh how wrong the boy is, its only the beginning, but I will save that knowledge to crush him when he is being a smart ass' Vegeta then goes to their room and takes a relaxing shower, while trying not to focus on the coming months.

8 months along…

Bulma was tired, sore, grumpy and in her opinion quite fat. She now could not leave the house except to go to the dr. Bed rest, this pregnancy was a lot harder on her than with Trunks, but there were two big positives- maybe three. Vegeta started training less and stuck around her more out of worry; he knew this one was harder on her and wanted to make sure she was okay. She almost was with her too much, she still needed her me time after all. Even Trunks was being helpful, though she knew this was due to him not wanting to cause a hormonal meltdown(there was a incident where she totally lost it when he got in trouble at school, her reaction was akin to one of her husband's, after that and bunny took on school duties). Then there is the fact that she was going to have a baby girl! Someone to share her knowledge with and do girly things like shopping and dressing up.

Vegeta on the other hand was not so sure about this whole having a girl idea, parenthood was not natural to him; he barely managed with Trunks(frankly he did not understand how the boy worshipped him, when in Vegeta`s mind he did not deserve it). In the end this was his second chance at this, and he decided he would not fail this child.

It was 2am, Trunks and Goten were passed out in his room aqfter a night of horror movies pizza and junk food. Vegeta had decided to continue his training in th GR when Bulma fell asleep.

Bulma got up to go to the bathroom when a crippling contraction hit her, naturally she screamed a agonized pained one. In a instant Vegeta was in their room, both hearing her scream and feeling a spike in her ki. He reacted so fast that he was still in his super saiyan state. His entrance startled Bulma.

'Vegeta! Sorry to scare you, but this contraction was wicked' about a minute later her water broke

"woman its too early! Stop it immediately!"

"umm vegeta this isn't exactly optional for me you know! Grab the bags and lets go to the hospital!"

So they flew to the hospital via vegeta and they got there within minutes which bulma was very thankful for.

When they landed

"vegeta I think you forgot something.."

"hn..what woman? The boy is being taken care of by your mother"

"No not trunks, vegeta, super saiyan"

"what about it woman?"

"your still one dweeb!"

Vegeta then powers down to normal state.

Then they were admitted to the labour and delivery unit

"Give me the damn meds NOW!"

Dr akira walked in again after a few hours to inform them of some bad news.

"mr & mrs brief im going to have to intervene with a emergency c-section as your labour is not progressing and there is fetal distress"

"Oh my kami, will she be ok dr?"

"yes bulma we will take care of you both"

They then quickly rushed her into the OR, while vegeta did something completely off character; he call his in laws to get them to bring the boys to the hospital.

Halfway through the dr came out to talk with vegeta.

"mr vegeta you have a healthy baby girl! But I need to ask you something serious ok?"

"hn"

"bulma has excessive bleeding and blood loss, do we have your permission to do a hysterectomy?"

"do what you must"

2hrs later, bulma was nestled with baby bulla in her arms, partially not completely understanding the events but she trusted vegeta.

Vegeta brought trunks into the room

"you ok mom?"

"yes sweetie, sorry I scared you" looking knowingly at vegeta.

"meet your baby sister bulla"
