He woke up to the sound of rain and the rumble of thunder in the distance. What time was it? He had a feeling that Sebastian had allowed him to sleep in.

As he shifted to check the clock on his bedside table, he caught sight of the figure standing in front of his bed. He almost yelled out in panic, but stopped himself when he realized who it was.

"Come here," he said, pulling the covers back slightly as an invitation. He was a little surprised by how she complied without any resistance, slipping into bed with him without uttering a word.

Her hair was slightly damp, but he didn't mind. He breathed in her scent; Sheena always smelled like flowers. Today, it mingled with the scent of the rain.

"Good morning, princess."

The only response he received was muffled grumbling into his shirt. "What was that?" he murmured into her ear. "I didn't quite catch it."

She pulled away from him slightly to answer, "I said, 'Why are you still in bed?'"

"Dunno," he said, reaching up to untie the ribbon around Sheena's hair. "But you're giving me pretty good incentive to stay in it for a while longer."

"Shut up," she growled, but her irritation didn't deter her from nestling her head under his chin and slipping an arm around his waist.

They lay together in silence for a while, the only sound coming from the rain pattering against the window.

"Zelos?"

"Hmm?" He was getting drowsy again. "What is it, my dear?"

"I love you," she whispered, barely loud enough for him to hear.

"I love you too," he responded, his eyelids getting increasingly heavy. He managed to utter, "I always have," as he succumbed to sleep again.

"Idiot."

Sel Says: Sorry for not updating in such a long time. School got really busy hahahahhahaha. C:

"Sel, you haven't updated this fic since the end of high school. What is wrong with you? That is an awful joke," you must be all saying. And yes, all of those things are true and it is an awful joke, but I'm not lying when I say that things were busy.

But after careful consideration and debating with myself for a while, I decided that I do want to give this collection a proper ending. Of course, it's not going to be the one thousand story long monstrosity I over-optimistically aimed for when I was younger, I do want to properly write the last piece that has been living in my head from the moment I started writing this series. Basically, what this means is that I'll be uploading some older things that I've written and haven't properly uploaded to this site (this particular oneshot is a little over a year old), as well as a few new ones and then the BIG FINALE that some of you may have been waiting for.
