Embarrassed at the gathering!
Today is the day of the conference. I'm not nervous because it really is nothing much I have to do. Just follow Sera-tans orders, that's it. I can do that pretty easily. But, we will still be performing that song. But I don't care about that right now. I'm just in my bed with my King who I love tremendously. I always sleep on her breast. It is the best pillow! Sometimes she sleeps on my chest, but it is usually me who sleeps on her breast. I just love it! Sera-tan really spoils me like this.
"Hmmmmm...Ma-tan..."
"Y-Yes, Sera-tan? Is something wrong?"
I ask hesitantly as she opens her eyes. She looks in my direction and smiles sweetly.
"Nothing my cutest Queen. I'm, just so happy right now! Have you ever had the feeling where for an instant your life is completely perfect."
"Well...when I'm with you, its pretty perfect. Ehehe, that might sound a little corny but that's how I feel."

Uu, I was afraid of that. She really intends to embarrass me greatly. She says its for my benefit, but I don't know how exactly it will benefit me.

That's emotional blackmail! She always does it to me! Blackmailing me like this! But, I will swallow what's in my throat and sing with her because I love her. You can't fight against people you love, and I wouldn't want to fight against Sera-tan. For one, she could kill me instantly, for two, I don't want to upset or disappoint her.

As she is musing to herself, I place my head on her breast again. My favourite pillow~ I'm never taking my head off this pillow!

She shakes her head at me. I raise an eyebrow at the head shake.

"Lets spend five more minutes together. I don't want to leave this bed with my cutest Queen. Today is going to be a little hectic anyway. Lets just enjoy our time together. We need more time together Ma-tan. Me, busy with Maou duties, and you busy with school and other crap. We need to go on a proper date!"
A-A date with Sera-tan!? W-We are dating, but a date with her? I wonder what that would be like...

"Yes, a date. Because next week we are getting married."
"W-We really are!? I-I mean, what?"
I sounded too happy then. But, she said married next week? Is that a joke I don't get? She tells lots of jokes I don't understand.
"Yes, married next week. You was calling me your wife last night. So, I decided we are getting married next week."
I'm pretty sure she's telling a joke. She always jokes around with me. Even with serious stuff sometimes. But that's why I love her so much!

...We arrived at the gathering. We saved ourselves the hassle of screaming fans and went by magic circle. And my King Serafall-sama is sat next to Sirzechs-sama. And the other Maou-sama's. This is strange. I'm a Queen of the Maou, yet I feel so small right now. Compared to these great powers, I feel really small right now. Other people from the Devils world are here, they seem to be important. The young Devils haven't arrived yet in this room. It seems some other Devils are getting things ready.
"Uu...nervous my cutest Queen?"
"Y-Yes. Serafall-sama...I'm really nervous. Lots of people are here. I feel like I will die if everyone watches us dance around and sing like children."
"Hey now, don't say that. It isn't like we are children."

Uu, I feel uneasy about this whole day. Today started out pretty well, but now I feel like everything is going to go wrong.

Sirzechs-sama just spoke my name! I turn to him and bow respectfully.

"Would it be alright if you get the young Devils?"

I bow again and jump off the high balcony I am on. Since my Master is a Maou, I have to be by her side, and I am her Queen so...I get to the ground floor and head in the direction of the young Devils. The Devils that are going to be there are Buchou, Sona-san and four other young Devils. I've been told that it is six Devils altogether.
I make it to the door I need to go through. I open the door...and all eyes turn to me. Uwah, I don't like eyes like this on me. It feels very strange.
"S-Sorry for the wait. Everyone is waiting. Please follow me."
The people I don't know give me a questioning look. But, everyone here starts following me back to the area Serafall-sama and the others are.
"Hey, bro."
"H-Hello...Aniki. How are you?"
Aniki spoke to me so I spoke back to him.
"Aah...this is nerve racking. But, I'm dealing, you?"
"I feel like I'm about to die...Serafall-sama is making me dance and sing in front of everyone else again. And it isn't just Raiser and your groups this time. It is in front of the Maou-sama's and the other important people. So, it would help me if you didn't laugh at me."
"You have my word. I know Serafall-sama is...very eccentric when it comes to making you do things so..."
"Exactly. And after this, I have to do missions involving the Khaos Brigade and taking down bases and babysitting and tea with Ravel-san and other things. I'm really stressed right now."
I mock cry to myself as we enter the room.
"Good luck Buchou, Sona-san."
I say to them as I go and join my King who has already gotten the stage ready as it were. I don't want to do this and she knows how shy I am. Good thing I just have to make weird sounds when she asks what I say.
Standing next to my King, she hands me a microphone.
"Get your Youkai form out my cutest Queen."
I nod and get them out. People start blushing at me. Like Sona-san, and other people. Everyone's eyes are on me. Serafall-sama...a songs backing beat comes on.
"Good day everyone! Myself, and my cutest Queen Ma-tan are putting on a performance to welcome the young Devils! Please be nice as my cutest Queen is very shy, aren't you my cutest Queen?"
"Y-Yes Serafall-sama."
"Now, we are going to sing, please enjoy."
Serafall-sama takes a deep breath and starts singing!

A horse illusion then appears and Serafall-sama points to the horse while looking at me.

Everything went black when Serafall-sama asked that. The last thing I saw was Serafall-sama's face smiling at me.
...Mmmmm, w-what's...ooh, I embarrassed myself for my King...my eyes are closed...I open my closed eyes and see...Sera-tan smiling at me...where are we?
"Finally awake, my cutest Queen?"
I nod and look around...ooh! This is the gathering! Oops, I fainted at the gathering! I'm sitting...on Serafall-sama's lap! Ooh crap! When I tried to move, she kept a tight hold of me! She wont let me leave!

Uwah! Even in situations like this! I just comply and stay seated. Even though I should be standing behind her, she wont let me stand up! An elderly Devil guy then speaks up.
"Good, you have gathered. In order to check the faces of you all, who will carry the burden of the next generation, you have been gathered here. This is also a meeting that is performed over a regular cycle, so that we can ascertain the young Devils."
"They seem to have fought right away, though…"
This time a full moustached male Devil spoke out sarcastically.
"You six are all Devils of the next generation that have pedigree and true ability that no objection can be raised against. That's why, I want you to compete together before your debuts and increase your power in this way."
Sirzechs-sama said this from his seat on the topmost level that I'm sat on. This place is for important people, yet I'm here sat down leisurely on my Kings lap. Uu, this isn't the time to be doing such things.
"Will we also eventually be sent out in the battle against the Khaos Brigade?"
I know I will be. But...that guy is...
"That is Sairaorg Bael-chan, Ma-tan."
Serafall-sama whispers to me. I nod in thanks. If I remember correctly, I think Sairaorg Bael-san is the cousin of Buchou, on her mothers side. So, he's the heir to the Bael clan then.
"I don't know. However, I don't want to send out young Devils if possible."
Sirzechs-sama answered as such. Sairaorg-san raised his eyebrows in seeming incomprehension at that answer.
"Why? Even if we're young, we carry part of the responsibility of Devils. If we just receive kindness from our predecessors even at this age and nothing further is done..."
"Sairaorg, I acknowledge your bravery. However, you're reckless. Above all, I'd like to avoid sending you all, who are still in the midst of growing, to the battlefield. Besides, it would be too great a loss if we lost the Devils of the next generation. I want you to understand. You are all more of a treasure to us than you think. That's why I want you to experience important things step by step and grow."
Sairaorg-san said "I understand" to Sirzechs-sama's words, and seemed to consent to his words. But, his expression seemed dissatisfied. I know I have to do things related to the Khaos Brigade. I guess they don't care if I go and risk my life! Sirzechs-sama then got into a long talk about the Underworld and such.
"Now then, I apologise for keeping you with this long talk. Well, we all see our dreams and hopes in you young ones. I want you to understand at least that. You are the treasures of the Underworld."
Ooh! Sona-san is going to say her dream soon! I hope she projects what she wants with a strong voice and a clear mind. If any doubt is in her voice, then the higher-ups will just laugh at it.
"To finish things, will you now let us hear your respective future goals?"
The first to respond to Sirzechs-sama's request was Sairaorg-san.
"My dream is to become Maou."
He wants to become a Maou? Hmmmm, I guess that is a worthwhile goal, isn't it? Becoming a Maou is a worthwhile goal! However...

The higher-ups also let out breaths of wonder at Sairaorg-sans goal, which he had declared upfront without hesitation.
"Its unprecedented for a Devil from the Great King family to leave it."
A male Devil higher-up said this.
"When the people of the Underworld feel that there's no choice but for me to become Maou, I will become one."
He declared even further! He really is amazing, this person! You tell them Sairaorg-san! If you want to become a Maou, then become one! I don't personally know his past but, he sounds determined to become a Maou! I wonder which Maou he wants to become? But then Buchou steps forwards.
"My goal for the near future is to live as the next Gremory head, and to win in each Rating Game battle."
Is that Buchou's dream? I suppose it is worthwhile also. I don't have any right to judge her dream. Others then started telling their dreams. The one I want to hear the most is Sona-sans dream. Then finally it is Sona-sans turn. She speaks strongly!
"I wish to build a school for the Rating Games in the Underworld."
Well done Sona-san! I believe that was spoken greatly! However, the higher-ups scrunched up their eyebrows as I see Serafall-sama narrow her eyes slightly.
"If its learning about Rating Games, isn't there already one for that?"
"That is just a school where only high class Devils and Devils of privileged rank are accepted. The school that I want to build is one where low class Devils and reincarnated Devils can also attend without any distinction."
That's the dream I'm proud of. And I know Serafall-sama thinks the same however...

The laughter of the higher-ups ruled over the assembly hall! How dare they laugh at Sona-san!? I have half a mind to attack them all for laughing at Sona-san! I hear Serafall-sama growl at the higher-ups in rage. However I calm her rage by taking her hands softly and giving them a gentle squeeze.
"Believe in Sona-san, Serafall-sama. She is a strong person. She wont back down ever."
"...I know you're right Ma-tan...its just, laughing at her lovely dreams...it annoys me greatly."
Before I could speak again, the bastard higher-ups start speaking in a mocking tone towards Sona-san.
"That's impossible!"

"It's good to be young! However, for the next head of the Sitri family to state such a dream, I have to say thank goodness that it was here at this place of introduction before your debut."
Pathetic shit's. They really are stuck in the past. They need people like Sona-san in the future of the Underworld. However, Sona-san speaks in a serious tone.

Serafall-sama whispers to herself softly. I smile in her direction which makes her smile also.
A higher-up spoke with cool headed words.
"Sona Sitri-dono. Low class Devils and reincarnated Devils merely work for their high class Devil Masters and are only selected for their talent. Wouldn't building such a training institution make the old families, who value tradition and pride, lose face? No matter how much people say that the world of Devils has entered a period of change, change can be both good and bad. Something like teaching mere low class Devils really is nothing of your concern…"
"That's enough! How dare you look down on Sona-san...sama's goal like that!? You really are stuck in the past if you don't see how this will benefit the Underworld! Even low class Devils have potential if someone teaches them properly! You shouldn't write anyone off because they don't show their talents immediately! People who think they are better than others really are the worst!"
I then cover my mouth! Oops! I didn't mean to do that! No, I don't regret it at all. Sona-sans dream isn't going to be laughed at and she isn't going to get mocked by these people anymore! I send an apologetic look to Sona-san. I didn't mean to be so forward like that, yet when I mouthed 'Sorry' she mouthed 'Thank you' back to me. She thanked me for my outburst? Why thank me? I've caused trouble again I'm sure. I always seem to cause trouble, even when I try my best not to.
"Be careful how you talk, young reincarnated Devil. Even if you are a Maous Queen, you aren't at liberty to speak here. Serafall-dono, your servant hasn't been properly trained."

Sona-san and I share a look of embarrassment. She just called us those words.
"Anyway, If my Sona-chan wins magnificently in the games, you won't have any complaints, right? Since many things are granted by saving up good results in the games!"
She has a point at least. But, I just know Serafall-sama is going to embarrass Sona-san, and possibly myself just about now.
"Geez! You Oji-sama's are all joining forces to torment my Sona-chan and my Ma-tan! Even I have my limit of endurance! If you bully them that much, I'll torment you as well!"
Ooh crap! Everyone gains a shocked expression at that. Hehe, what should I do? Sona-san covers her mouth in embarrassment. Serafall-sama then just guides my head to her shoulder as they all just look at us.
"Very well. Then, let's play the games, between these young people."
Everyone paid attention to Sirzechs-sama's words.
"Ape...Rias..."
Everyone gasps at Sirzechs-sama. He just called Buchou an ape! He actually called Buchou an ape! Sona-san giggles a little as Buchou shoots her a sharp look. Buchou's eyes then get watery with fresh tears.
"Onii-sama!? I'm telling Doctor Penguin about this! He's going to tell you off Onii-sama for calling me an ape!"
""Don't mention your Doctor now ape.""
Sona-san and I say in unison. We look to one another before covering our mouths to control giggles. Rias-Buchou shoots us looks.
"You're both on my list! And you Onii-sama also! Ise! Tell them to stop hurting me!"
Aniki looks on with scared eyes as Buchou cries a little. Aniki was put in an awkward position. I feel for him, I really do feel for him.
"Ignoring that...Rias, Sona, would you not like to fight each other?"
They both look to one another...before smirking evilly.
"I've been waiting all my life to teach that bitch a lesson."
"I've been wanting to strike back against the ape for the longest of times now."
They seem...ready for it.
Without minding them, Sirzechs-sama continued.
"Originally, it was planned for Rias' game to take place in a few days. Azazel has gathered Rating Game fans from each of the powers, also under the pretext of watching the games of the young people before their debuts. That's why it's fine like this. Let's hold the game with Rias and Sona."
"It may not be an official one, but it feels like fate to me that you would be my first Rating Game opponent, ape."
"Now that we're competing with each other, I won't lose, whore."
"A match between Rias-chan and Sona-chan! Yes! It may fire things up!"
Serafall-sama also looked happy! Yay for Serafall-sama!
"The date of the competition is August 20th in human world time. You may each divide up your time as you like until then. The details will be sent again later."
So that's it huh. Sona-san vs Buchou. Hmmmm, if its brains then Sona-san is going to win. If its power, then its Buchou. Which one will win out in the end? I'm not certain but I guess we will have to wait and see.
After the gathering, I rushed to catch up with Sona-san, to apologize. I hope I didn't do anything wrong. I shouldn't of spoke, but I will never regret defending her. Catching up with her, I bow without speaking words.
"What are you doing?"
"Sona-san...I'm so sorry. I shouldn't of spoke out of term. And if I was a hindrance in anyway, please forgive me."
I asked for forgiveness but she waves me off. I feel relieved that she isn't angry at me. She has every right to be angry as I did speak up without permission. But like Serafall-sama said, they shouldn't bully Sona-san!
"No...don't apologize. I thought...it was really sweet that you defended my dream. But, I wish Onee-sama didn't say those embarrassing things."
"Hehe, that's Serafall-sama after all. So, a match against Buchou, are you nervous?"
Her eyes dart to the floor slightly, then she looks into my eyes with determination.
"Not nervous, excited is the word I would use. Makoto-kun, thank you for defending me. If it had been anyone else, then I would've been annoyed, but since it was you...I feel like we understand each other than I understand other people."
"I feel the same way Sona-san. I hope you do well in the match. Well, you already have an advantage over Buchou. I don't want to be mean, but you are more intelligent than she is. But she's got power on her side..."
"Makoto-kun, don't forget who you're talking to. Even weaker opponents can dominate stronger opponents, if they use their heads the right way and plan effective strategies."
I let out a chuckle at Sona-san. She's right of course.
"I shouldn't expect anything different from Sona-san. Well if its you, then I'm sure you already have several strategies going around in your head, am I wrong?"
"No, not wrong. I'm just glad you aren't on her team."
"Oh? What's that mean?"
She gives me a deadpan look.
"Because, you are smarter than her. My level of intelligence actually. So if you were on the apes team, then I would have to think about other strategies incase the ones I'm thinking about right now don't work against you. Hmmmm, I guess we should go..."
"Ma-taaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan! Sona-chaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan!"
Sera-tans scream! When I turned, she's coming in at the fastest pace ever!
"...And Onee-sama comes along."
I chuckle awkwardly at that. Sera-tan then hugs me from behind!
"Ma-tan, I'm getting the death penalty for what you did in there!"
"WHAT!? PLEASE SAY YOU ARE JOKING!"
"No, I'm not joking. Because of your violent and horrible outburst, I've been banished from the Underworld and if I ever step foot in the Underworld again, I will be finished off! I'm serious my cutest Queen! They are out for my blood!"
As I cry anime tears, Sona-san just sighs.
"Onee-sama, that's a horrible joke. You shouldn't say such things."
"Buzz-kill. Anyway, Ma-tan. I'm proud you stood up for Sona-chan! Now, its time for you two to share a kiss."
For Sona-san and I to share a kiss? W-What!? Both Sona-san and I do spit takes! She actually wants us to share a kiss!?

"What? Go ahead Sona-chan, Ma-tan. Grab one another by the shoulders and smash your lips together!"
Is she actually serious right now? I can never tell with Sera-tan. But she doesn't seem to be lying at least.
"O-Onee-sama! That's highly inappropriate!"
"Why is it inappropriate? Ma-tan stood up for you, so he could get a kiss from you."
"No I didn't Sera-tan! I stood up for Sona-san because it was the right thing to do. If I hadn't of said it, then I'm sure someone else would've said it. I just don't want Sona-sans dream to be mocked by other people. Its a horrid feeling and they didn't have the right to laugh at her. Even if I'm punished as a result, I would gladly do it all over again, everyday until they see sense. And even if they don't see sense, I'm going to help Sona-san with her dream. I support it fully, even if that doesn't mean much..."

Sona-san whispered that out, I however caught it. It meant the world to her...really?

I really wish Sera-tan would stop right now. Sona-san is obviously uncomfortable with everything that's going on.

"Ugh...Sona-chan. You never get what you want in life if you don't go for it. Look, Ma-tan is right here. He isn't looking or thinking about anyone else right now, other than you, isn't that right Ma-tan?"
She is right I guess. Sona-san is the only person I am looking and thinking about right now.
"T-That is correct Sera-tan. I just want Sona-san to get her school built and realize her dreams because..."
Suddenly, I'm silenced by my lips getting overlapped by someone else's. But, this person I haven't ever kissed before...Sona-san! She is actually kissing me! I'm shocked that she would suddenly kiss me like this!
But, I-I am loving this kiss! It is different to Sera-tans kisses, but I love them both equally! I move my lips in rhythm with hers as I see a light from beside me go off. Sona-san notices it too and breaks the kiss with possibly the biggest blush I've ever seen before. I'm shocked she hasn't passed out. Even my own cheeks are burning from the kiss.
"Makoto-kun...that was my first..."
"Ehehe...I-I hope it was good at least..."
We scratch our cheeks in tandem, then I remembered that flash of light. When I looked to the source, it was Sera-tan with her phone while doing the peace sign to us! She took a picture, didn't she!? She actually took a picture of Sona-san and I kissing! Sona-san looks at Sera-tan with the look of mortification on her face. Her expression is cold and mortified at the same time.
"Onee-sama..."
"That was a picture perfect moment! It was really sweet!"
"DELETE THAT PHOTO ONEE-SAMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
Sera-tan giggled and shook her head childlike. Sona-san then went charging at Sera-tan who dodges effortlessly. They then run off with me following after them! Hehe, it seems my life will never be boring when I'm around the Sitri sisters!
