In an effort to give her parents a chance to feel young and energized again. Lisa gives Lynn Sr, and Rita a dose of a new vitamin she created. However, the pills have an unexpected side effect on the two parents which takes them all the way back to their childhood.

1. Chapter 1

Chapter 1

Youth...we can sometimes forget how precious it is as the years go by and we get older. But what, if we could live our childhoods a second time around? Impossible, right? Well, let's find out, shall we? As we begin our story in the bedroom of Rita and Lynn Loud Sr., waking up from a...

Lynn Sr. (Gets up): "Yawn!"

Augh! Sorry...I guess Lynn had a rough night, as we see his hair is all messed up, needs a major shave, and has bags under his guys. Rita is not doing so well either, as she gets up and we see she's in a similar state.

Rita: "Lynn...Yawn...what time is it?"

Lynn Sr. (Looks at his alarm clock): "Well it's...10:00 am?!"

Rita: "What?!"

As fast as they can, the two parents got out of bed and started to get ready for the day.

Rita: "I can't bevile we overslept!"

Lynn Sr.: "You're telling me! We promised the kids we go on a picnic in the park today! And we're not even ready!"

Rita: "The kids are going to be so mad at us!"

But when Rita and Lynn go through their bedroom door, they are shocked to see...

The Loud Kids (All dressed and ready to go): "Good morning!"

Rita (Not sure what to say): "Umm...morning kids!" (With a nervous smile): "I see you're all ready for our picnic today."

Lola (With a big toothy grin): "That's right!"

Lynn Sr.: "Well, just give us some time to get everything pac..."

Lincoln (Walks up with a picnic basket): "Don't worry Dad." (Hands it over): I already made our lunch and packed the basket for you."

Lynn Sr.: "Gee..." (Takes the basket): "Thanks son." (Opens it up and takes out a sandwich): "Wow, cucumber sandwiches?!" (Whispers to his wife): "I was just going to make PB and j."

Lincoln: "It was Luan's idea."

Luan: "I would've helped him." (Takes out a camera): "But I was busy looking for my old camera to take pictures with." (Puts it up to her face): "Say cheese!"

Leni: "Wait..." (Takes out a pocket mirror): "I need to check my makeup."

Lynn (With a bag over her shoulder): "And I packed some killer games we can play!"

Lori (Holding the car keys): "And I'll be driving."

Rita: "Oh, that's okay sweetie, I'll drive."

Lori: "But you just woke up."

Rita (Walks up and takes the keys): "It will be fine."

But it was easier said than done, as most of the Loud siblings were fighting in the back of the van, a bit of traffic getting in their way, and some fog covering the street signs making it difficult for the mother of eleven to find her way. Eventually, the Loud family made it to the park, and we see now that Rita and Lynn are sitting down on the picnic blanket, setting up, while the kids are playing around the park.

Lynn Sr. (With a smile): "Man, our kids sure have a lot of energy!"

Rita (Develops a nostalgic smile): "Kind of reminds me of when I was a kid. Running around the house, my dad trying to catch me…"

Lynn Sr.: "Making a mess out the kitchen, while trying to make my first dish."

Rita: "What was your dish?"

Lynn Sr.: "Pretzel surprise!"

Rita and Lynn Sr.: "Hahaha!"

Rita: "Oh man…remember the movies that came out when we were teens."

Lynn Sr.: "You mean like: "Back to the Past"?"

Rita: "Or Freddy Meany's Day In?"

Luan (Runs up with her camera): "Mom, Dad!" (Puts it up to her face): "Say Cheese!"

Lynn Sr. and Rita (Cuddling up together): "Cheese!"

But when Luan pushes the button, water squirted out of the lens, getting the two parents wet.

Luan: "Hahaha! Gotcha!"

Rita (Gets up angrily): "Luan Loud!"

Luan (Turns away): "Hey guys, Mom's going to join our…"

All the other Loud kids (Popping out of hiding places, while holding water balloons): "Water War!"

Rita (Develops a devious smile as she takes out her own water balloon): "Oh, its own!"

After a heartfelt battle and some lunch, the Louds decide to have a rousing game of kickball with Lynn Sr. pitching and Lynn Jr. at the plate.

Lynn Sr.: "Remember what I taught you LJ!"

Lynn (With a smirk): "You want your team to lose that badly huh Dad?"

Lynn Sr.: "We'll see who wins when I serve you my…" (Prepare to roll the ball, but…): "Hmmm…" (Drops the ball and starts to hold his back in pain): "Augh!"

Luna (Runs up to her father along with her brother): "Pop-Star!"

Lincoln: "You okay?"

Lynn Sr. "I think I threw my back out."

Pretty soon, the Loud family arrived home with the kids going off to do their own things, while Lynn Sr. and Rita are in the Kitchen sitting at the table. Rita is on the verge of passing out and Lynn Sr. holding a bag of ice to his back.

Rita: "You know what Lynn? Being old bites."

Lynn Sr.: "I can live without the back pains, that's for sure."

Rita: "Would it be nice to be young again?"

Lynn Sr.: "Or at least have the same energy as our kids."

But unknowing to the two, they're second to the youngest daughter, Lisa is by the door listening in to what they're saying.

Lisa (Scratching her chin): "Hmmm…"

In the scientific and research lab of Lisa Loud, we see the young Guinness putting different ingredients and chemicals in what looks like a witch's cauldron. Some of the ingredients are…

Lisa (Interrupting the Narrator): "Do you mind?"

Oh, sorry…

Lisa: "Now then…" (Pouring out of cans): "Different various flavors of Lynn's favorite energy drinks." (Pours powder): "Lori's protein powder for extra strength." (Dumps a basket's contents): "Fresh eggs and raw meat from Liam's farm to back it up."

Lily (From her crib): "Eww!"

Lisa (Pouring liquids from bikers): "And the chemicals that are known to be found in energizing pills." (Taps her chin): "Hmmm…the last ingredient requires to be both youthful and juvenile." (Looks around the room, and spots something by her sister's crib): "Bingo! Lily's baby formula and food."

After putting those ingredients in, the young scientist flips a switch.

Lisa: "Now, to let the cauldronintron mix all the components up. And solidify the mixture into individual capsule forms."

Pretty soon, the noise from the machine grabbed the attention of the Loud Parents as they make their way upstairs.

Rita (Walks into the room with her husband right behind): "Lisa, sweetie, what's going on in here?"

Lisa (Smiles as she turns her machine off): "Ah, Mother and Father. Just the two human beings I want to see."

Lynn Sr. (A bit nervous): "Why do you always have to talk like a mad scientist?"

Lisa: "Well Father, first I'm not mad. And second, I am a scientist."

Lynn Sr.: "That's a fair point."

Lisa: "Anyway, I came up with a solution to your problem of old age."

Rita: "Lisa!"

Lisa: "Apologies Mother. But I overheard you and Father's desire to feel young again. So, I created these…"

Lisa puts her hand into the cauldronintron and pull out what looks like two small pills bearing the colors pink and blue, while also having green letter Ls on both sides.

Lisa: "Behold! The world's first-ever made fountain of youth tablets. Guaranteed to make those who consume these pills not only feel energized but felt like they were never aged in the first place."

Lynn Sr.: "Wait…Did you say…" (Develops an exciting smile): "…youth?!"

Rita: "And…energized?!"

Lisa: "Indeed I did!"

Lynn Sr. (Takes the pills from his daughter): "Count me in."

Rita (A bit worried): "I don't know honey. This could be dangerous."

Lynn Sr.: "Come on Honey!" (Hands his wife a pill): "Don't you want to be energized?" (Getting all flirty): "And young."

Rita (Thinks about it): "We could keep up with our kids."

Lynn Sr.: "We can spend more time with them!"

Rita: "And…do things we couldn't do in years!"

Without further hesitation, the two parents popped the pills into their mouths and swallowed them like they were candy.

Lynn Sr: "Hmmm…had a carrot taste to it."

Rita: "And…milk!"

Lisa: "Oh my…"

Like they're on a sugar rush, Rita and Lynn Sr. are jittering up and down like crazy!

Rita: "I don't know about you Lynn, but I feel like I can do anything right now!"

Lynn Sr.: "I know right?! On your mark get set…GO!"

As fast as they can, the duo leaves the room, leaving a trail of dust behind. We soon start a montage of the two doing things with their kids…such as Rita helping Lori and Leni go through their clothes….

Rita (Throwing clothes from the closet into two different piles): "Keep… Don't keep… Keep…"

Lori (Picking up some clothes): "Wow mom! Now, I know which clothes still fit me and clothes that don't!"

Leni (Hugging a dress tightly): "And which clothes I can keep for myself!"

Lynn Sr. is a one-man band to help Luna practice her music…

Luna (Playing her drums): "Gee Pop-Star! I didn't know you can play all those instruments."

Lynn Sr.: "One can do a lot when they are energized Lunes!"

Rita taking Lynn Jr. on a run around town…

Rita (Running super-fast, while pulling her daughter along by the arm): "No pain, no game Lynn!"

Lynn (Exhausted, while being dragged along): "Puff! Puff! I can't believe I'm saying this. But I rather have no game than pain!"

Lynn Sr. having a pie-throwing match in the kitchen with Luan…

Luan: "You think you can…" (Picks up a beat): "…BEAT me, Dad?! Hahaha!"

Lynn Sr. (Picks up a can of sweet potatoes): "I sure…CAN…SWEETIE!"

Lynn Sr. and Luan (Both laughing, while they continue to throw pies): "Hahaha!"

Rita writing poetry with Lucy, but...

Lucy (Shielding herself from flying paper): "Mom! You are writing too fast! I can't even get to my poetry journal!"

Rita (Writing on paper after paper): "Shh! Mommas on a roll!"

Lynn Sr. throwing Lana up into the air and catching her over and over…

Lana: "Wee!"

Lynn Sr.: "Up you go!"

Rita giving Lola a makeover…

Rita (With a makeup brush): "Oh, my little Lola. You all look all grown up now."

Lola (Looking in a hand mirror): "Ahh! Mom, you made me look like you!"

Lynn Sr. digging up a hole in the backyard with Lisa and Lily…

Lynn Sr. (Stops digging): "Wait…why are we digging?"

Lisa: "It's for the new bunker I'm constructing. And Lily wanted to make a castle out of the dirt."

Lily (Filling up a beach pail): "Lily is a construction worker!"

Last, but not least Rita is…reading a comic book to Lincoln?!

Rita: "And David Steel lived happily ever after. The end!" (Tucks her son in bed): "Goodnight Lincoln." (Plants a kiss on his forehead before leaving): "Sweet dreams!"

Lincoln (Not sure what to say as he looks over to the readers): "Ummm…"

The montage ends with Rita and Lynn Sr. going to bed that night. Waiting for another energized day to come. But unknowing to anyone this is the start of a huge problem.
