An Unexpected Teacher
"YOU WANT ME TO WHAT!?" Meta Knight screamed
King Dedede was very surprised Meta never raises his voice. And for the stoic knight to raise his voice at HIM of all people was very surprising. Yes King Dedede asked him for something very weird and unlike him but he didn't expect him to scream in his face.
As King Dedede paced through the throne room wondering if he made the right decision. He had decided to bring back Dedede Academy just for Tiff's sake. She really wanted some sort of school in Cappy town. But she had made it very clear that she wanted a Cappy run place that had NOTHING to do with killing Kirby. So for his sanity he decided to bring it back but he needed teachers. His first idea was to make Tiff one of the teachers but she was a kid, then he decided to use the cappies but he was one short of a full staff. That's when he turned to one of if not THE smartest person in all of Cappy Town and maybe even Dreamland. Sir Meta Knight.
Meta Knight was stomping down the corridors mumbling to himself. He had no choice in the situation. He was pretty much forced to do this. If not for his sake for the sake of the children. They needed to learn somehow and it seemed that he would be the one to do the teaching. He knew that they would ask stuff about him and he just didn't know what to say to them.
The day had come. All of the teachers had their rooms decorated and the kids were outside waiting for the principal to make his announcement. The kids were chatting and the parents were conversing. Escargoon stepped up to the podium and started talking.
"All right you brats shut up and listen to your king." Escargoon said handing the microphone to the penguin
"Hello you lazy subjects I am your king and principle so you betta listen to meh. I have decided to make anotha school for ya brats. You betta behave or i'll give ya detention ya got it." Dedede said
All of the kids nodded except for Tiff who only glared at the fat bird. AFter the speech was finished and all of the kids said bye to their parents Escargoon gave them all their schedules.
"Ok now that you have your schedules go find your classes." Escargoon said dismissing the kids
Each Cappie had their own subject and their own classroom. They had spent at least a month buying and decorating the room. Professor Curio teached history, Buttercup teached math, Chief Bookum teached P.E, Mable teached science, and last but not least Sir Meta Knight teached ELA.
All of the kid Cappies were in the same class (Because there were so few of them) so the teachers that were currently not teaching got a chance to start their slideshow of who they are, what they like, and where they came from and lesson plans. Now I bet that you can expect that Meta didn't like creating that slide show but he had to so…he did.
Tiff was excited for her "first day of school" . Yes she had gone to school before but all of those times were Dedede trying to kill Kirby. Now they had a school just to have a school and educate kids. She was also excited to see who would be her teachers. Dedede thought it would be best for the kids not to know who their teachers would be. Their first class. History.
It was not a surprise for them to know that Professor Curio teaches history. It was expected. I mean who else would they choose? He was one of the only people in town who knew the history and cared about it.
Prof. Curio showed the mantotry slideshow and explained and answered a few questions about him. He also assigned an "About my family" poster for them to make throughout the week. The next class. Math.
Some were surprised when they saw that Buttercup teached math but some that knew her better weren't. They didn't really do much in that class except Mrs. Buttercup showed her slideshow and she assigned a math themed slideshow…Tiff expected that they would get a lot of those.
And they did, as the day went on they saw more and more slideshows and got assigned more and more slideshows. But they weren't overwhelmed with them because they had lots of time to work on them. During lunch Tiff sat with Kirby as Tuff wanted to sit with his other friends. While Kirby was attempting to explain something Tiff was sure she saw a familiar blue knight walk into the kitchen in the cafeteria.
"Was that…" Tiff muttered
"Poyo?" Kirby asked confused
"I think…I saw…Sir Meta Knight. But that's impossible! Sir Meta Knight would NEVER willingly teach kids let alone Cappy kids!" Tiff almost screamed
That's when she saw that same blue knight walk out of the kitchen and out into the hallway. Tiff got up to run after him but was stopped by a Waddle Dee janitor who gestured for her to sit back down. 'I guess I'll have to wait' she thought.
Two specials and 1 class later and They finally had ELAR. As they walked into the class they didn't see desks. They saw tables with comfy chairs and the room was dark with navy blue walls. On one of the walls there were "christmas lights" that were colored a pale yellow and on the rest of the walls there were posters with some inspirational quotes. The smart board was turned off and the teachers desk was organized and neat with the papers stacked, the pictures framed and the pens and pencils in different holders. The kids sat down in the chairs of their choosing and waited for the teacher to come into the room.
Tiff looked around the room in wonder. 'Who would decorate their room like this? I don't think any of the Cappies would…' In all honesty she liked the way the room looked. It gave off a comforting vibe and she enjoyed it. About five minutes later the teacher came in. And. It. Shocked. Everyone.
"SIR META KNIGHT?!" They all screamed
"Yes, that's my name…I'm glad you all know it." Meta Knight said sarcastically
"I'm not trying to offend you but why?" Tiff asked
"The king practically begged me." Meta Knight replied
"Oh…" Tiff said understanding
Meta Knight set his stuff down and took a few seconds to compose himself. Once he was calm he got ready to start his presentation.
"Ok, class please calm down and turn your attention towards me." He waited for the chatter to die down "Thank you, now as most of you know I will be presenting a slideshow about me. Know that I didn't want to do this so the presentation is not one of my best." Meta Knight said, the classes interest on the presentation
The slides consisted of information on the knight. Stuff like how old he is, where he was born, stuff about his life in the GSA and things about life there. He had all of the students' attention. There were minimal pictures and most of the pictures were when he was in the GSA. He also answered questions that the students had.
Once he was done he told the class that they didn't have a slideshow and that he just wanted a simple list of things they liked and things they wanted him to know and that the list was due at the end of class. Once he
was done with that he sat at his desk and opened a book. Tiff could tell. She was going to like having him as a teacher.
AN: So...umm. I had an idea and this is the productof it. I might continue it I have no idea though. I need ideas! So please review if you have any. Thanks! Also chapter4 of Aftermath is in the works!
