Asia-chan and I have been practicing for the three-legged race today since being told about it by Aniki. Raynare-san is also helping us out. Lately we have been practicing every morning. We are practicing behind the gymnasium. Compared to the time before we began practicing for it, we have gotten much better at it! But there's also...

Iri-chan and Xenovia-senpai are running at the grounds. Even though we aren't in the class, Asia-chan and I was asked to do the three legged race with the second years also. Well, that's also fine, since we are both known to be athletically, crap. Everyone thought that we should do it because we are cute. Yes, that's the reason Aniki told me anyway. We will...draw in a crowd with our cuteness, but I'm fine with that, if I can help out. But they haven't seen me over summer. Yes, before summer my athletic skills where horrid but now, they aren't that bad, I think anyway. I believe that I have gotten better. I was able to keep up with Yumi-chan when we trained together the other day so, I think that we are good.

Asia-chan saved a wounded Devil when she belonged to the Church. Because of that she was treated as a heretic and lost her place, and then she experienced painful memories. The Devil whom she saved is none other than Diodora. I don't know why he was there and met Asia-chan but I can make a guess based on what I have heard from various sources. But the reason Asia-chan saved him is because she is a kind girl. I won't blame her for doing that. There is no way I can. Asia-chan is a kind girl after all.
Asia-chan's life did take a 180-degree turn for saving Diodora, but it's certain that she is having a good life with us here. But I do think about it. Would Asia-chan have had a better life if she was still a holy maiden? Is she having a better time with us than the time when she was a holy maiden? Does she...like being here with me...with us? These thoughts sometime enter my mind, and I want to hope that she does have a good life with us.
"...Makoto-san?"
Asia-chan looked in my face after lifting her head off my shoulder.
"You had a very serious expression just now. …You also looked sad…"
"…Hey, Asia-chan. If you were able to get your old lifestyle back, what would you do?"

Asia-chan gets shocked and opens her eyes wide. I didn't know how to say it so I said it bluntly and honestly. I don't want Asia-chan to go away. We became friends and...we became more than that. I don't know what our relationship is right now, but I want to believe that it is something akin to lovers.
My hand became a little shaky, wondering what will happen. Will she say "I want to go back to my old lifestyle!" or something like that. If she did, then I don't know what I would think. I guess, I would respect her decision, if it was possible. If she wanted it then I would help her do it somehow...
"I won't go back."
She had a smile. She didn't even have any hesitation. At that time, Raynare-san came over and sat down as well but she didn't say anything. She listened to the conversation that we had.
"I have asked Makoto-san once before. I asked you "Can I stay by Makoto-san's side forever?". Makoto-san, you said "Yes", to me. I became happy when you said that."
I remember her saying that. Yes, it was before the fight against Raiser. If only I could've been apart of that then Aniki wouldn't of had to give up his arm to Ddraig so it wouldn't have to be a Dragon arm...
"I like this place. I also like Kuoh Academy and the Occult Research Club. I also like Buchou-san, Akeno-san, Sensei, Serafall-sama, Gabriel-sama, Kiba-san, Xenovia-san, Koneko-chan, Gasper-chan, Irina-san, Ise-san, Chelia-san and Kiryuu-san. I also love …Makoto-san and his parents. The new life I started in this city is something very important, and something I greatly love which makes it so wonderful."
"Yeah, Asia-chan and I will always be together! I also won't allow you to get married! Asia-chan, don't think too much about Diodora. No matter what happens, you know that you can say no if you don't like it?"
Asia-chan looks in puzzlement, but then shows her smile immediately.
"Yes."
Raynare-san then says with an apologetic expression.
"…Asia. I want to apologise to you once again. The first time I met you, I said harsh things to you and I even plotted to take your Sacred Gear away. I still regret it even now. …Asia, you treat me kindly. You said I'm your f-f-friend…."
Oh, Raynare-san has a red face that you don't see often. Asia-chan takes Raynare-sans hand and says with a big smile.
"Yes. Raynare-san and I are friends."
They were straightforward words said face to face with complete honesty. Raynare-sans eyes became moist.
"Thank you. Thank you, Asia."

I heard a cry during this emotional scene. When I looked in the direction I heard the voice, I saw Iri-chan. Has she finished competing with Xenovia-senpai?
"Iri-chan? Have you finished with your run?"
"Uuu, yes. When I finished my run, I saw that Ma-chan and Asia-san were getting closer with one another so I came to investigate."
That just sounds like she is being nosy to me but I don't mind if she does or not. I'm just glad she is here. I, missed her tremendously.

I'm sorry Iri-chan but that sounds like a very crap business plan, even if it very sweet and encouraging to some. And I don't know who is going to go and get help from this club. Does she even know how to give love advice?

"It's still only me! Thanks to that it is only thought of as an association of like-minded people, so there are restrictions on the activities and funds given. I will have to start by convincing Sona-Kaichou first."
That will be hard Iri-chan. I've been wanting to start up a club as well, well I did before I became a Devil. Now, it doesn't really seem that important. But I just hope that she doesn't come to anything that could lead to me...
"So it's decided that I will be put in the Occult Research Club for now."
That basically means that she is a member of the Occult Research Club! No, I shouldn't point that out. Iri-chan then gains a knowing face...eh? W-Why is she making such a face?
"Ma-chan! I just thought of something! You and Kaichou are like dating or something, right!?"
I smiled weakly and nodded with that same weakness. I didn't think she knew that. How did she find out? E-Either way, she knows now and I'm sure she is going to use that to her advantage.
"Y-Yes...erm...yes."
She claps her hands together...is that a light bulb over her head!? Its flashing! Its shining! How the hell is she doing that!? Its even twitching! Is this the Angel power she has received!? I-I can't take my eyes away from it!
"Then Ma-chan can help me convince Kaichou to let me start my club! I'm sure that she'll listen to her boyfriend! Even if she's a strict person, she must listen to you! So, please come and help me convince Kaichou that my club is necessary for the school!"
I can't convince her of that! How is it necessary!? I looked at her face, only to be met with such determination...I can't say no to her!
"Erm...I-I don't..."
She raised a hand to her face, and made teary eyes! S-Shit! Too cute! Too powerful! I-I can't think like this! What am I supposed to do with this kind of thing!? Asia-chan then urged me to help her.
"Makoto-san, Irina-san seems really determined. I think the only honourable thing to do is help Irina-san in making her club into reality. I-I think Makoto-san is a very kind person so helping Irina-san with her club wouldn't be so bad, right?"
This is not fair! I-I can't keep cuteness like theirs away from me! I am attracted to cute things! I then turned to Raynare-san for help, but she just smirked at me sultry. D-Don't you think that you should help me!? I-I treat you kindly! I-I even said you don't have to be my servant anymore! I-I want someone to help me!
"...Fine."
"Yay! Lets go Ma-chan!"
She grabbed my hand, and pulled me to my feet.
"Don't worry about the ropes and stuff Makoto-san. I will put them away."
"I'll help her Master. But come by when you're finished with her dream of being in love with a club."
I nodded and I was dragged away by Iri-chan. Uwah. But what Raynare-san didn't really sound good. Being in love with a club. I don't think that's what the club is for, right?
I was dragged all the way to the tents. I think its the medical tents. I sense that Sona-chan is in this direction. But I'm not that confident about this. I can't ask Sona-chan for something like this. It would be like using our relationship to do something for someone other than us.
"Ah, Makoto-kun, Irina-san. What a surprise. Is there something I can help you with?"
I was met with Sona-chan, Shinra-senpai and some of the other members of the student council. I waved at Reya-senpai who waved back happily. We are still friends after all, even if she doesn't do those selfies anymore. I think Sona-chan had something to do with that.
"Well, Kaichou. I want you to let me form my love club, if you will?"
"Irina-san, we've been over this..."
When Sona-chan spoke, Iri-chan pushed me forward and patted my shoulders strongly. O-Ow, that kind of hurt. Must be because she has recently turned into an Angel. I knew awhile ago, as we had a mission together. At first it was kind of upsetting, but now I think its good for her. It means, we can be together, if she wants to be together that is.
"Yes, we have. But Kaichou, I thought that if you heard the advantages of the club from your own boyfriend, then you would see sense. If Michael-sama's Ace can't convince you, then shouldn't your own Onee-sama's Queen be able to convince you?"
Sona-chan shifted her gaze from Iri-chan to me. I put on a complicated expression and mouthed 'Please go along with it'. It took her a few seconds to register what I mouthed, but being as smart as she is, she seemed to get it and blinked her eyes for exactly two seconds. Yes, that's a signal for us when we want to be discreet about things. We just know one another very well indeed!
"Okay, I understand the situation. Please, Makoto-kun. Tell me how this club will benefit the school."
"Great! Thank you Kaichou! Now Ma-chan! Tell her the advantages of the club my second in command!"
I'm her second in command now!? Since when did that happen!?
"S-Sure."
I then face Sona-chan and just spoke from the heart.
"W-Well, this club could be useful by making the schools moral increase overall. It could lead to a raise in grades if the students are more happy with school life than they are now. It could also lead to a raise in schools attendance. Because, if they are loved up, for a lack of better term, then they would want to experience a school life with their partners, right?"
Sona-chan's lips rose beautifully at my words.
"Of course there are some downsides to things like that. And it could be more than just love that we could help find. Maybe even just a club that helps students with their problems when they don't think they have anyone to turn to. But, overall, I think that if Iri-chan...and probably myself..."
Iri-chan nodded her head at me being apart of the club.
"...where able to help the students find love, then it would be positive for the entire school. Well, that's what I believe anyway, so what do you think Sona-chan?"
I think that's what her club should be like anyway. I don't really know what her plan was for the club, but I think this is the way to go if she is that determined to do something like this.
"Wow, looking at it from that angle, it doesn't sound like such a bad idea. If it was able to increase the overall happiness of the students, and in turn that makes them work harder for the school then yes..."
I didn't think Sona-chan would go for it! But, does that mean I have good persuasive abilities? Maybe I'm learning after my King, the foreign affairs Maou. Sona-chan nodded her head in approval.
"I'm intrigued by this idea. I don't think a club at this school like that exists so...yes. I think it is worth a try. Of course for this to work, you'll need a club advisor, more members and a base of operations."
"Well Kaichou! That shouldn't be a problem! I've already asked Serafall-sama and she seems to be excited about it! She said she would be the advisor! Although when I asked if Gabriel-sama could join, she said that Gabriel-sama can't join as she is too stupid. I thought it was a little bad but...I still got a club advisor!"
Of course she did. This is right down Sera-tans alley alright. Sona-chan's eyebrow twitched at this. Of course, its obvious. Sera-tan would just make Sona-chan do it anyway, even if she wasn't into the idea.
"And, a base of operations?"
Sona-chan questioned. Iri-chan seemed to have an answer for that as well. Just how far is this dream of hers...?
"Rias-san said that it there is a classroom in the old school building that isn't in use on the first floor, so we could use that! Of course, that means we would have to hide the symbols on the walls...but that should be easy enough to do! But of course that means we will have to recruit people who know about the supernatural...but that should be fine! Ma-chan and I will think of something!"
So I'm just in this club now? I never actually remember doing anything or saying that I'm in the club. Or even asking to join it. Sona-chan put on a happy face and looked at Shinra-senpai.
"Please take Irina-san to the student council and discuss this in finer detail then report back to me."
"Yes Kaichou. Irina-san, please follow me."
"Okay!"
Iri-chan then hugged me and whispered "Thank you Ma-chan. It means a lot to me." then she skipped off with Shinra-senpai. W-Well, senpai didn't skip, but she walked normally.
After confirming that she has left, Sona-chan smiled at me.
"You know, I was going to say no to her club. Because, the way she said it, didn't sound like it would benefit anyone. But the way you put it...well, it does actually sound like a good idea. And I'm sure you've tweaked it a little to match some of the criteria I would accept. So now that you're invested in it, I wish to see you putting in 100% into this."
"O-Okay! I shan't let you down!"
Sona-chan then took me by the shoulders, and pressed her lips to my own! I-I didn't think she would be so forward at school! I-I thought that we said that when we are at school, we would be discreet about our relationship. Of course, I don't have anything to be embarrassed about but for her to be with someone like me...no, Sera-tan told me not to think like that anymore...that girl is gone now...
Sona-chan released me from her lips and smiled.
"Sorry. I know what we said, but I couldn't contain my excitement at the prospect of the school becoming better thanks to you and Irina-sans little club. I care about this school very much, and when my boyfriend wants to help the school I love so much, I became happy and showed emotions such as this."
I took her hand and held it tightly.
"Well...this isn't the only school I will help, you know?"
"I-I know. I am counting on you for that as well."
"I wont let you down, Sona-chan."
We smiled and blushed at one another. Her school...I will make it happen also. Even if I have to convince everyone in the world, I will do it for her. Sona-chan then took her hand away from my own.
"I'm sorry, I need to return to the student council room in a minute, after checking everything out here."
"Y-Yeah, no problem. I also have to go and help Asia-chan with the ropes and such from our three-legged race."
"Then, I will see you later."
"Until then."
We split apart after saying our farewells. I walked towards the storage room, which is located in the gymnasium, in the corner of that. Since Raynare-san asked me to go, I thought I might as well go. But wouldn't they be done with the stuff by now?
While I was walking along, I noticed something out of the corner of my eye, so I looked and...Cao Cao-san is here! I-I didn't know she was here! I didn't even sense her presence! Its been awhile since then, and even then, Vali-san was there so we didn't get to talk. Although, I can't say anything about her to the others. She has the True Longinus, and I'm pretty sure that Vali-san said that she is apart of the Khaos Brigade. But so is Vali-san, so she can't really say anything.
I checked around to see if anyone was around...I don't see anyone. Okay, this should be fine. I spread out my Devil wings and flew over very fast towards a building that's located near the school.
I landed near her, and hugged her. She is still the same. The same black haired, ringlet pigtail hairstyle and the smallish body, and the same Japanese girls school uniform that's set for winter for some reason. She still looks good.
"Cao Cao-san! Its been awhile!"
"Heh, of course it has. I've been a little busy, and it seems you have gotten stronger as well."
"I have been! I've been getting stronger and stronger...but why are you here? Not that I mind, and happy about, I just wish to know what's wrong."
Cao Cao-san shakes her head.
"Nothing is wrong. Isn't it fine if I check up on you every now and again. Its, difficult for us to meet like this. Even then, I wished to see you...because truthfully, I missed you. Last time, that idiot Vali got involved and now..."
"I-I know Cao Cao-san. Its difficult to see you also. I mean right now, there's a Maou, Seraph and leader of the Fallen Angels inside the school. I just thought you should know that, incase you are planning to do something..."
She looked like I had betrayed her or something when I said that. I wasn't trying to be nasty or anything. Its just, lately people seem to be different to what I thought they were. When I first met Vali-san, she was sexually aggressive, but lately we've been developing a meaningful relationship. Even if she is apart of the Khaos Brigade. I still...love her...
And Cao Cao-san, Vali-san has repeatedly told me that I should be wary of her. Because Cao Cao-san is the leader of the...Hero's Faction, is that right? Even though I should tell Sera-tan about it, I just can't do it. Even if I'm blamed for withholding information one day, I just can't...hurt her. Vali-san and Cao Cao-san...damn it. I then faced Vali-san to ask her a question to break this awful tension.

Another one, the King category, also appears. Maybe it's the quality as a King. Buchou, Sona-chan and the girl from the house of Agares are fairly high. At the current point, Sona-chan is higher than Buchou. Sairaorg-san on the other hand is considerably high. The idiot Zephyrdol is the lowest. Makes sense since he is a jerk. And Sona-chan is a very good King also so, go Sona-chan!
"Sairaorg didn't even fight seriously in the one on one battle against Zephyrdol."
Sensei says that. Yes, I felt like he was holding back his power. I estimate that he didn't even fight to 50 percent of his true power. If that's the case then...gulp. I'm going to have to reach Balance Breaker if I want to keep up with everyone else. But there must be some kind of reason, right? I can't remember if I was ever told why he does what he does. I know that he wants to be strong but the reason is...ooh, sensei seems ready to tell a little story.

"I will tell you guys before hand, but after your fight with Diodora, your next opponent is Sairaorg."
So, after Diodora they have to face a monster like Sairaorg-san? That's...really insane. Buchou then asked.
"Is it not a bit too early? I thought we would fight Glasya-Labolas before him."

Buchou and everyone else put on a doubtful expression at sensei's word.

But Diodora asks normally. T-This bastard! She said no, so just give up and leave! Buchou then gives the best answer to him.
"Both. I think of her as my little sister."
"Buchou-san!"
Asia-chan puts her hand to her mouth, and her green eyes get teary. I think she became really happy that Buchou said she is like her little sister.
"She doesn't love Ise. That's a plus for me. Having my affections deepen and not wanting to let go of her won't be a good reason? I think that is a good enough reason. I can't understand you for trying to get Asia through me with such a method, Diodora. Do you understand the meaning of a proposal?"
Buchou says that with a smile filled with intensity in it. She says it in the most appropriate way she can, but anyone can tell she is pissed!
Diodora still has a smile. That instead makes it creepy.
"I understand. I will return for today, but I will not give up."
Diodora got up and walked towards us...towards Asia-chan. He stood in front of Asia-chan who seemed troubled. He got on his knee and tried to take her hand.
"Asia. I love you. It's okay, destiny won't betray us. Even if everything in this world rejects us, I will overcome them no matter what."
He tried to give Asia-chan's hand a kiss, but I immediately grabbed his hand and forced it away from her. She clearly didn't want him to touch her, so I stopped it.
"Can you let go of me? I feel a bit sickened to be touched by a filthy Youkai."
SLAP!
Asia-chan's slap smacked onto Diodora's cheek. Asia-chan hugs onto me and says it with a shout.
"Please do not say that!"
… I never thought Asia-chan would have slapped him. But I feel relieved! Diodora's cheek became red because of the slap. Even so, he won't stop his smile. I would like to wipe that smile off his face.
"I see. I understand. Then how about this. If I defeat this Hyoudou Makoto in a fight, then I would like it if you answered my love..."
"I wouldn't lose to someone like you. Come at me, and I will put you in the ground."
I threatened with an intense aura. We both glared at one another with intensity. If he wants to fight, then I will fight and kill him. I've heard dodgy things about him, and I will make sure that his crimes, wont go unpunished! Then, sensei's mobile phone rang.
"Rias. Diodora. Good timing. The date for the game has been decided. It's in five days."
The day finished there, and Diodora went home. If only I was in that game...then I would kill him...why am I thinking like this? Sure, he's a bastard but...I shouldn't be thinking about killing someone...what's wrong with me?
