Chapter 1: Realization

It was a sunny morning in the midst of June, and many people were enjoying their time in the summer. Whether it was swimming, playing outside, or having a nice BBQ, you really couldn't have a better summer. Unless you were Lincoln Loud.

Being the only boy in a house full of 10 girls, it can get pretty hectic a lot. The bathroom would be occupied every hour or so, car rides would get annoying, and it would be pretty hard going to sleep every night. But Lincoln was used to it. A lot of the time, Lincoln would do something for one of his sisters or would help them out in anyway that he could. And that was because he was always used to it. He would get bullied or teased by his sisters sometimes, most notably when they found out he read Princess Pony and was the one who clogged the toilet. But it wouldn't get to him too much. And today was no exception.

Lincoln arose from his bed, as the sun shined through the window creating a brighter room in the process. Lincoln yawned and stretched, trying to get every inch of sleep out of his system when he noticed his clock. 12 PM??? I must of overslept. I hope noone will care that I slept in a bit late. There was a good reason why Lincoln overslept. You see, Lincoln wanted to do yet another ARRGH marathon, and thought he wouldn't be awake for too long. Come to find out, that he was awake until 5 AM. Lincoln pondered if his family would even care that he overslept. Knowing his family, he would sometimes overthink. And that would cause him to panic and freak out. Thankfully, the worst outcome never happened, and everyone would just go about their day. So Lincoln set this thoughts aside, and decided to head downstairs. He put on his classic orange polo, blue jeans, and red and white sneakers. He checked himself in the mirror, to make sure he looked good, and went downstairs. One of the first things he noticed walking down, was that all of his sisters were already on the couch, channel hopping in hopes of finding something good on TV. He decided to head to the kitchen first to make something to eat, while one of his sisters, Lynn, noticed him and decided to say something to him. "Hey Stinkcoln! What took you so long to wake up? Were you playing one of your nerd games again?" All of the sisters, including Lynn, laughed at this remark, much to Lincoln's dismay. "I just overslept. There's nothing else to it." Lincoln replied. "Linky..." Lola said, "That's not a good excuse! If you're gonna lie, at least don't be so obvious that you're lying. I can smell the lies from here. Or that might be your smell. Go take a shower!" "Guys, all I did was oversleep. Ok? If you're gonna bug me about it, at least be nicer with your insults." "Oh c'mon Lincoln..." Luan said, "If I was gonna say something nice, I would've slept over it! Hahaha, Get it?" Everyone groaned at Luan's joke, like they always do, and continued with what they were doing. All the sisters kept teasing Lincoln, but at this point, he just ignored them. After making some cereal, instead of heading to the living room to eat, he strangely went into his room to eat. Every sister looked at each other with confusion glued to their faces. Why would Lincoln all of a sudden eat in his room, instead of with his sisters. Something didn't feel right. And they were gonna find out.

Lincoln walked to his room and locked it. Just to make sure his sisters couldn't annoy him while he ate. All the while, Lincoln decided to call up his best friend, Clyde McBride. Clyde was an interesting kid to say the least. Not saying he's weird or anything, but he kinda has a crush on Lincoln's eldest sister, Lori. Back then, it was massive and Lincoln had to put up with it every time Clyde came over to Lincoln's house. But since then, it hasn't been much of a big deal lately and Lincoln was very grateful for that.

After a few rings, Clyde picked up. "Hey buddy!" Clyde exclaimed. "Hey..." Lincoln said nervously. "What's the matter? Why do you sound scared?" "It's not that, it's just..." Lincoln was trying to think on how to phrase what he was about to say. He didn't want to come off as rude or mean towards his sisters or Clyde. He loves his sisters, he really does but, what he was about to say could ultimately decide how Lincoln's relationship with his sisters could turn out, so he had to find his words.

"So for the past few weeks or so, my sisters have been nothing but complete jerks when it comes to teasing me. Sometimes I even think that they're bullying me. It gets on my nerves. A lot. One time I was heading to use the bathroom, when all of a sudden I tripped on some wire. I turned to see Luan laughing out loud, but when I got to my feet and turned back around I got hit in the head by a bucket that was swinging in my direction. And let's not forget what happened last night. Lynn thought it would be funny if she tricked me by saying my family died and that I was the cause of it. I cried really hard that night Clyde. I-I-I..."

Lincoln started to cry. He usually had a good reason to cry. Whether it was a bad day or his sisters messed with him again. But this time, it was different. Lincoln wasn't crying because it was his fault or something. No. He knew exactly what it was. It was his sister's fault.

Clyde was gonna say something, but Lincoln interjected. "Sorry Clyde, I don't feel like talking right now. You understand right?" "Of course I do. Take all the time you need. Bye!" And with that, Lincoln was left with his thoughts.

He didn't know what he was gonna do now, considering what has happened for the past few weeks. That's when he heard a knock on the door. Lincoln was so deep into his thoughts he didn't hear a single thing. There was repeated banging on the door, but Lincoln still didn't notice it. He could hear the faint sounds of his sisters yelling his name, but it worked to not avail. After a few minutes of this, something happened that for sure made Lincoln snap back to reality. With a few good kicks by Lynn, the door swung open at full speed. Once every sister was crowded into Lincoln's small bedroom, they took notice of the scene that was in front of them.

Lincoln was lying flat on his back, with dried tears plastered on his face. It looked like he had been crying for 10 minutes straight. He laid in silence for another minute until he saw all 10 of his sisters staring back at him with confused eyes. Lincoln at first was a little surprised that his sisters were able to get inside his room, considering all odds. But he took notice of the door. The door looked dented with a few pieces of wood coming out of the door. The hinges also looked worn and shattered, like someone got a sledgehammer and beat the hinges to death. Lincoln took all of this in and soon realized what he was feeling. At first he thought he was feeling sadness, considering what he had been doing for the past 10 minutes. But he knew now what he had been feeling. It took a long time but it finally caught up to him. Lincoln was not at all sad. Not even depressed. He had one. One feeling in his body. And that, was anger. Lincoln was more than mad, he was pissed.

Gathering all his thoughts, everything that had led up to this moment, it all was all because of his sisters. And he wasn't ready for what he was about to say next.

"I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS! FIRST ME? NOW THE DOOR? I'M SICK AND TIRED OF EVERYONE IN THIS FAMILY TREATING MY LIKE UTTER TRASH. I THOUGHT YOU GUYS WERE MY SISTERS, NOT JERKS. I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU ALL HAVE TO SAY, I'M NOT GONNA LISTEN TO YOU. AND AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED, NONE OF YOU ARE MY SISTERS!"

And with that, Lincoln packed up his things and went to leave the house. All of his sisters were either pleading, crying, begging, and apologizing for their actions. But Lincoln didn't want none of it. He was tired of his sisters, he was tired of his parents. He just wanted to live a normal life, but apparently the world hates Lincoln so now Lincoln Is finally doing something about it.

"Tell mom and dad that I won't be returning, oh and if you even THINK about calling the cops, then it'll just make me hate you even more. If that's even possible. Goodbye sisters, and goodbye house. I hope you can all rejoice knowing that I won't be apart of you lives ever again."

And with that, the door slammed shut causing the entire house to shake a little in the process.

Well, they did it. They actually did it. All of the sisters didn't think that it would come to it. They've seen Lincoln grow up as years went by, and now, it was like it was all taken away in an instant. The Loud sisters just did something that they didn't think for a second another family would do. They drove their only brother to leave his own house. Every sister felt shame. They knew exactly what they did. All of them. Despite the house being silent as all can be, they could still hear their thoughts. And all of them were sharing the same one. They lost their only brother.

[A/N: So I hope you all enjoyed the first chapter of my first fanfiction. I've seen a lot of fanfiction but never decided to make one myself. Until today. I love The Loud House and I loved making this first chapter. And if anyone wants a Chapter 2 then let me know, because I would really love to get back to work again. But that's all I have for today! Take care and have a safe rest of your day everyone!
