They all stared at Pit.
"Can you explain to us?" Zelda broke the silence.
Samus scrunched up her fists and had a guilty, almost sympathetic look while Pit tried to cover his wings.
"C-Come on now guys! Don't push all the pressure onto them!" Red said. They all turned to stare at Red.
"Red, did you...?" Marth had a bit of suspicion on Red. "... yeah, I guess I sort of... half knew this?" Red scratched behind his head, "well I only knew about the eyes, so..."
The oven rang. "Oh, the tea is done!" Peach got up to get the tea.
"Then, can you at least answer our questions?" Zelda asked as she took a deep breath.
"But-!" "It's all right." Samus looked over to Pit. "They've pretty much known what's going on."
"Background." Zelda simply said, "what happened during the past."
"We used to be living with our family. We were happy but then wings came, when the wings came, Palutena came. During that age I found out that they found me as a baby at their doorsteps and that I could grant wishes. Each feather on my wings, as long as I'm living and a feather in their hand, counts as a wish. Palutena came to take me back to Angel Land, she said if I stayed there I might end up in the hands of evil. I stayed in her castle, seperated from onee-chan and my parents. She decided to split me up, that way my power was half as powerful. Me, having blue eyes, and the other, having red. One day, an army from the under world took my other half and myself. We were trapped in a dark room for being 'too dangerous', but, the queen of the under world, Medusa, decided to use my other half and almost took over Earth. Soon, my half grew darker, his hair was darker, his clothing were darker, and his wings too. They turned from white to black, his wings would grant the opposite of the person's wish. At one point, he grew tired of doing Medusa's every command, so, he broke me out of the room, we defeated Medusa, and we escaped back to Angel Land," Pit took a breath.
"Palutena brought us back as one whole, but, because my other half changed so much in appearance, it affected our appearance once we were whole. She brought us back to Earth and our family was reunited again. She believed that back at Earth, Medusa couldn't track me down as long as I keep a low profile. Next thing I knew, Medusa was able to track me down, and killed our parents, she was able to do so because my red eye wasn't covered. Onee-chan and I fled here."
"You poor things," Peach said, as she sat down with tea, pouring a cup for each of us.
"I understand you're back story now, but, how come you didn't let me, or other, help you?" Red asked.
"We've already tried, they were all close friends, and now they're dead," Samus said.
Everybody stopped and widened their eyes. "Then...?!" Marth asked but Samus looked away.
"Medusa gave up on taking Pit by force since Pit has already defeated her many times, so, she thought, that by killing innocent people and/or the people closest to Pit that it would force him to go back, that way nobody else dies," Samus looked at Red, "they've tried killing you so many times already, you oblivious idiot, but they always mistook Pit for you because you two look alike, that's how he keeps getting wounds!"
Red was speechless. "You're saying, now that we pretty much know everything, we have a higher possibility of getting killed?" Marth asked silently.
"Yes..." Pit put his head down, "sorry..." "No, we should be sorry, we were the ones getting nosy," Zelda said.
"Can you explain the whole plan, like, you said kill, but these pass few days, only one died," Ike said, a bit confused about Medusa's plan.
"If I'm correct, the 1st stage of their plan is find someone who socializes with Pit, other than Samus, and try to kill him, in that case, you, Red. 2nd, injure someone badly for the next 2 days. 3rd, try to kill a group. 4th, actually kill someone." Zelda said.
"That's correct," Samus said.
"But, what happens afterwards?" Zelda asked.
"... massacre, the 5th stage is massacre, it happened back at the city we used to live in," Pit said.
"But that's just cruel!" Peach yelled.
"It is, but they'll try anything to get me to go back there, which is the 6th stage. Final stage, take over the world," Pit said, "even if killing wasn't a part of their plan, it doesn't matter, they have cruel minds."
"Wait, can't you just wish her away then?" Red asked.
"I've already tried, but, Earth needs a balance, it's a fairly balanced place and the wishes don't go as far as unbalancing the Earth," Pit said.
"So even the wishes have boundaries, then what are we supposed to do? If we let her continue then all of us will- might get killed," Marth asked.
"All we can do is fight back," Samus said.
"Maybe if we stick together when we're out in the open then we have less of a chance of getting killed because they don't want to kill Pit."
"Good idea Marth!" Peach said. "Huh? Yeah- uh- thanks?"
"Here." Pit took some feathers from his wish and gave one to everyone, "If something happens if you're all by yourself then use your wish, it will turn into dust once you've used it."
After the long day they bid farewell.
Before Pit, Samus, Peach, and Zelda left, while nobody was looking Zelda gave a quick, small kiss on the cheek to Link.
"Nice idea," Zelda said with a gentle smile and small blush, and left.
