Should I bump the ratings up to M for the gore?
Yes, I know, the poll votes today show that this is second highest on polls but that happened after I finished this chapter so when I went to check the poll I groaned and said, "God bleep it" =w="
"Aahhh what should we do what should we do what should we do what should we do what should we do what should we do what should we do what should we do what should we do..." Pit kept murmuring those words in pure frustration as he made his hair messier.
"Meh, it could be worse," Ike shrugged.
"'Worse'?!" Marth yelled in disbelief, "Ike, we are literally stuck in school, everyone has a 99% chance of dying, one of our friends is a main target of dying, Pit is bound to get captured, we were separated from our friends in different dimensions, and if Pit gets captured before we return to the same dimension we have a 100% chance of dying by the wrath of his overprotective sister who carries not only a taser but also a gun and whip!"
The two were silent while Pit kept continuously murmuring.
"Meh, it could be worse," Ike shrugged, making Marth literally fall down.
"Ike! You're not helping!" Marth yelled.
"Ow..." Rob hissed in pain under his breath.
"I'm really starting to worry about you Rob, you've been getting headaches and it looks like they're painful," Peach said.
"I... I'm fine..." Robin murmured.
"Maybe we could look for some pain-killer medicine," Peach suggested.
"I don't think... it will help..." Lucina murmured too.
"Well it wouldn't help to try," Zelda said.
"If I'm correct, the staff agreed to hide some pain-killer medicine in a hidden cabinet behind a mirror in one of the girls' bathroom, just in case. I'll go get some right now," Peach quickly said, then ran off.
"No- wait!" Rob then ran off after Peach.
"Hey! We're supposed to stay together!" Zelda yelled.
"Then what are we doing?!" Lucina exclaimed, anxiety clear on her face.
"Lucina?" Zelda widened her eyes a bit at Lucina's sudden outburst.
"This is bad...! Rob's...!" Lucina kept murmuring words that neither Link or Zelda could pick up, but seeing how the girl was sweating nervously could only mean something bad.
"Then why don't you go after him?"
"I can't! In fact, I'm probably the worst person to go after Rob!" Lucina yelled, clenching her fists tighter.
"'Worst'?" Zelda asked, "But aren't you usually around Rob?"
"Only if Reflet and or Shulk are around, other than that, I can't be around Rob by myself..." her voice slowly died down until she jumped up again, "J-Just go after them, okay?!"
"Okay, okay!" Zelda sighed, then ran off to find the closest girls' bathroom.
"Pit..."
"What should we do what should we do what should we do what should we do-"
"Pit...!"
"What should we do what should we do what should we do what should we do-"
"Pit!"
"What should we do what should we do what should we do what should we do-"
"PIT!"
Ike then slapped Pit across the head since it didn't seem like Marth would get Pit's attention anytime soon.
"Ow! What was that for?!" Pit yelled while holding his head.
"If you couldn't tell, while you were freaking out Princess Martha here was trying to get your attention," Ike said, pointing to 'Princess Martha'.
"Thank y- HEY!" Marth obviously took offense to that.
"I'm sorry," Pit awkwardly scratched the back of his head, "It's just that this is the first time I'm not sure what to do during the massacre stage."
"Yeah, it does seem like Samus would be more prepared than you," Marth sighed, remembering how she kept three weapons on her at all time.
"Oh yeah!" Ike thumped his fist into his palm.
"What?" the two turned to Ike.
"Can't we use your feathers to go to the same dimension as everyone else?" Ike asked.
"I would have said, 'For once you're actually thinking!', but you do realize how many dimensions we'd have to go through in order to find everyone, right?" Marth sighed.
"Not only that, but this is Medusa's magic," Pit added.
"Right, can't break the balance of everything," Ike nodded as though he understood everything.
"You don't understand any of this, do you?"
"Nope!"
"IKE!"
Zelda stopped and leaned against a locker to catch her breath. One more turn and I should be near the girls' bathroom...
"Zelda?" Rob asked, seemingly lost himself.
"Rob...? W-Weren't you with Peach?" Zelda asked between breaths.
"Er- I lost her after she took so many turns and now I'm lost myself," Rob awkwardly said, "Plus, even if I were to go into the girls' bathroom that would just be purely awkward."
"I... I see..." Zelda stood up more properly, "Go back to where Link and Lucina are, they should be in the same place. I'll go to the girls' bathroom myself."
"Okay," Rob nodded, then walked in the direction Zelda came from.
"Alright..." she took a deep breath and continued her way to the girls' bathroom.
Once she reached there she didn't see anyone inside.
"Peach...?" Zelda called out as she slowly walked in but kicked something.
She looked down to seen the opened bottle of pain-killer medicine, rolling around on the floor and spilling all the pills inside.
"That's weird..." she murmured to herself as she looked to the side to see the hidden cabinet behind one of the mirrors opened.
Before proceeding, she smelled a very familiar scent, and that was when the painful realization hit her.
"No...!" she gasped.
The brunette looked to the stalls to see all of the opened except one.
With nervous steps she walked up to the closed one and slowly opened, and that was when she felt her heart sink at the sight of what was behind the door: Peach's corpse.
A single pair of scissors was plunged deep into each of her hands to hold her against the door along with five more scissors sunk deep into certain areas of her chest. Two of the scissors made it through and helped pin her to the door but three of them were sunk half-way through and were obviously twisted just for torture the blonde. Lastly, a large sliver of her neck was missing, showing that that was the final blow that killed Peach.
Zelda screamed in hysteria at the sight of her dead friend.
