Chapter 20
Two days later, the 9th graders returned from their beach trip. "Hey how was it?" asked Yumi as the group got off of the bus. "Awesome." said Angela and Odd in unison. Yumi raised an eyebrow. "What they mean is that they had a little fun. said Ulrich. Yumi knew what he meant. "You mean they did that?" she asked.
"No!" yelled Angela and Odd. "Ulrich you liar!"
"By the way, where's Kiwi?" asked Odd.
"He's in your room." said Yumi. Odd wasted no time in running to his dorm to check on his minature bull terrier(Or whatever dog Kiwi is). "There he goes." said Ulrich as he followed him.
"Any sign of XANA?" asked Aelita.
"No nothing." said Yumi. "Guess he's still recovering from his last attack."
"Good." said Jeremie. "We don't want a repeat of last time."
"We all don't." said Aelita. "Let's just hope it won't happen again."
Angela followed the two boys to their dorm. "Hey guys." she said, making them both jump and turn around. "Don't scare us Kitty-Kat." said Odd.
"Sorry." said Angela as she kissed his cheek. She wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him. "So what's Kiwi like?" she asked.
"Exactly what me, Jeremie, and Aelita said." said Ulrich.
"I told you guys it's only instinct." said Angela.
"That's what you say." said Ulrich. They both opened the door to their room and it was none other than Kiwi who jumped on Odd. "What did I tell you." said Ulrich.
"I missed you my little diggity dog!" yelled Odd. Kiwi stared at Angela and barked. Angela unsheathed her claws and said in a cruel voice "Want me to tear you apart?" Kiwi looked frightened as he hid behind Odd. "You didn't have to do that." he said.
"I want him to respect me." said Angela as she sheathed her claws and looked at the terrified Kiwi. "Besides, you know I don't want him chasing me around."
"You got a point." said Ulrich. "Since you're part cat after all."
"Exactly." said Angela as she pointed at him. "By the way, I have a question."
"What is it?" asked Ulrich. Odd knew exactly what she was going to say. "Are you still dating Yumi?" they both asked in unison. Ulrich blushed. "We're just friends damn it!" he yelled.
"That's not what we think." said Angela and Odd in unison.
"Shut up." said Ulrich, not knowing the black shadow approaching Kiwi.
Later that night, at dinner, Yumi had already went home so Ulrich, Angela, Jeremie, Odd, and Aelita were eating until a student ran in. "I need help you guys!" she yelled. "I'm being chased by some sort of werewolf."
"That's ridiculous." said Sissi. "Werewolves don't exist."
"Than how do you explain that!?" she asked while pointing to the window. They turned and out of nowhere, something that looked like a giant monstrous dog appeared. Everyone except the Lyoko gang started screaming and ran out of the lunchroom(Which is a pretty dumb thing to do when a werewolf is outside.). "XANA." said Jeremie. "Let's hurry to the factory and whatever you do, don't get bitten." Everyone nodded as they ignored the students turning into werewolves and headed to the park. "Hey look." said Odd pointing. The group looked and saw Kiwi with Sissi and her gang. "What's Kiwi doing here?" asked Angela.
"No clue." said Ulrich. Kiwi's eyes flashed with the XANA sign. "Not my Kiwi again." whined Odd. In no time, Sissi and her bunch of idiots were bitten and turned into werewolves in an instant. "Well that explains the werewolf incident." said Jeremie. Kiwi turned and ran towards them. "Uh what now?" asked Aelita.
"Scatter!" yelled Odd as he and Angela went one way while Ulrich, Aelita, and Jeremie went to the factory(At least they're smart enough to go straight to the factory instead of running around like idiots). Kiwi turned his head towards the two groups and decided to go after the cat couple. XANA didn't care if they deactivated the tower; He just wanted Lyoko's origins. During his possession with Angela, he almost had them in his grasp. He didn't want to fail again.
Aelita, Jeremie, and Ulrich step out of the elevator to see Yumi waiting for them in the lab. "Where are the cats?" she asked.
"Dealing with the XANAfied Kiwi." said Ulrich.
"Get to the scanners." said Jeremie as Ulrich, Aeltia, and Yumi went downstairs.
"Do you think Kiwi went after the others?" asked Angela as she and Odd kept running.
"I think so." said Odd. Then out of nowhere, Kiwi flashed by them and Odd grabbed his neck. "What the hell?" asked Angela. "Did he get you?" Odd removed his hand, revealing a small bite mark on his neck. "Damn it." he groaned. Angela stepped back as he doubled in size, his nails became claws, and his teeth to canines. "Run." he said in a deep voice.
"I wish I could." said Angela. "But I can't move." Odd glared at her. "Go damn it!" he yelled before his voice turned into a howl. Since she wanted Aelita to deactivate the tower ASAP, she called Jeremie. "Please tell me you virtualized them." She begged.
"Yea why?" asked Jeremie.
"Cause Kiwi got Odd." said Angela. As soon as Odd stared at her, she started running, with hiS howls behind her. "Ok I get the picture." Jeremie said.
Jeremie hung up and said "Guys it seems that Kiwi got Odd."
"That idiot's always getting in trouble." said Ulrich. "And we're kinda busy at the moment."
"I can see that." said Jeremie as he stared at the screen. "Angela wanted you to deactivate the tower fast."
"We'll try our best." said Yumi. Jeremie, however, went to the news channel in case the werewolf students were in the city. It turns out they were. The reporter, was trying not to get attacked and announced that hunters were hired to eliminate them. "Now this is a problem." said Jeremie before he told everyone. "That gives us another excuse to hurry up." said Ulrich.
"Damn it does he ever give up?" asked Angela as she leaned against a tree. She had been running from Odd the werewolf for quite a while and the others still haven't deactivated the tower. "What's taking them so long?" she asked. She heard a growl and turned around. "God damn it." she groaned. She was facing none other than Odd, who showed that he didn't recognize her. "I wish that he'd just remember me or something." said Angela. She stepped back until her back faced a tree. "Uh Jeremie anytime now." she said.
"Sorry we were a little held up." said Jeremie.
"That's good becasue I'm in a bit of trouble." said Angela before Odd was just a hand-length away from her. "Odd it's me." she begged. "Kitty-Kat." Odd whined as he stared closely at her, then he stepped back. "Finally you remember." said Angela before she hugged him(And here we have a happy ending). Odd yelped and at the same time, a gunshot was heard. Angela looked up and saw Odd fall to the floor with a gun wound in his back(I'm the worst fucking author I'm the worst fucking author I'm the worst fucking author T_T). "Alright we got another one." a man's voice was heard before he left.
Tower Deactivated
"Well that's that." said Jeremie. "Wait what's that?"
"It's the scyphozoa." said Ulrich as the scyphozoa captured Aelita(For like God knows how many times).
When the tower was deactivated, Odd chanegd back into his regular form, but the gun wound stayed. "Odd hold on." said Angela. Odd opened his eyes halfway and looked up. "Hey Kitty-Kat." he said. "I'm glad you're the last thing I see."
"Don't say that." said Angela before she got out her phone. "Jeremie do a Return To The Past."
"I can't." said Jeremie. "Aelita's in the scyphozoa's clutches."
"I don't care!" yelled Angela. "Odd's gonna die if you don't." Jeremie could hear the worriness in her voice. "Alright." he said. "Ulrich hurry up."
"On it." said Ulrich as he threw his saber at the scyphozoa's tentacules, slicing them and freeing Aelita.
Return To The Past Now
The day rewinds back to when the 9th graders got back from their trip. Angela was going to the vending machines when she saw the gang and Odd. "I'm glad that's over." said Yumi.
"Yea same here." said Aelita. Angela ran towards Odd and hugged him, ignoring the stares from the others. "What happened?" he asked.
"Don't die on me like that." said Angela ignoring his question. "Remember when you promised not to leave me? Well I promise not to leave you." Odd smiled. "Sure." he said as he hugged her back.
Me: I have no idea why I wrote that. Just two more chapters and the story's over and then we'll have that Shugo Chara sequel.
