Chapter 18

Shinobu's POV

I am so glad. Miyagi is finally back in my hands. He finally loves me again. Now all I need to do is kill Ryuu and this will be all over.

I heard someone walk in and I turned to see who it was. It was Ryuu. He looked pissed. I wonder what happened.I saw that his skin began turning bloodshot red. He was beginning to look like a real killer.

"Well at least I have my alternative power revived. Killing him was a good idea. I can now live my life surrounded by all the men that I want. No longer do I have to wait until they die or wait until they find the knife. Ah, I will have my very own haven. No more cages. Mwahahahahaha!" he said loudly.

Wait a minute. Kill who? Is Misaki and Akihiko ok?

"Ryuu-sama!" Miyagi yelled out to him. He turned to us with greed and madness in his eyes. "What." he asked with a crazy grin on his face. "Free me." he said. He looked surprised. I was too.

"What...did you say?" he asked with a mad face. "Free me." he said with intent in backing down. Ryuu smiled very dangerously. In lightning speed, he scratched Miyagi and he was bleeding. Now I don't think that is even a human soul anymore. He is looking like a monster. He even has red claws instead of nails now.

"Arrgg!"Miyagi cried out in pain. "Miyagi!" I said and tried to think of what I could do. Do I have any healing powers? I am PANICKING! I need to calm down.

"What are you saying. You are my slave for life. I know that you have your use. You will never have the heart to kill that stupid lover of yours who has half of my powers. I won't do like I did to Misaki. If you do though, I would be so happy. Two for the price of one. I would get my other half of my power back and I would get even more of my alternative power revived. You can't escape me." Ryuu said and his teeth started to look like he had eaten somebody. They were really bloody.

"What did you do to Misaki?" Miyagi and I asked him at the same time. "Oh I controlled him with his knife and made him kill that sexy Akihiko. His knife also disappeared in the process. Too bad he had to die in order for me to get my alternative power. It will be the same for you. You will have to kill Shinobu in order for that knife to disappear."he said.

He did what? That can't be. Misaki's lover is...dead. And he couldn't do anything about it. What in the world happened while me and Miyagi were having our embracing moment?

"You bastard. You couldn't even let him enjoy his love life. You kill him just for power. How low is that!" Miyagi spat out. I heard Ryuu growl at him. If he gets hit one more time by those claws then he is dead. I can't let ourselves go crazy and make Ryuu mad.

"Let's just go see how he is now. A friend is still a friend no matter what he had done in the past. He is the one who needs comfort the most now." I said.

Miyagi grunted. He didn't seem to be satisfied in the idea of leaving Ryuu in his madness without trying to find some way to kill him or free himself from his grasp.

"Miyagi." I whined.

"Fine." he said and glared at Ryuu. Ryuu only smirked back.

I remembered that I had the power to heal since I am calm now. I concentrated my power onto my palms and thought happy thoughts about me and Miyagi. Every good past that had happened between us will be centered onto my palm.

My power poured into Miyagi's wounds softly without pain being inflicted. Once all of them were healed, we got up and headed past Ryuu. His eyes followed us the whole time.

Miyagi's POV

Damn that bastard Ryuu-sama. He is such a sick bastard. To kill off someone's love is just... too far.

The poor guy. I wonder when I became so caring. It was probably when those flashes of images appeared in my head of Shinobu and I. Was he part of my past? Did I lose some of my memories? When did I start becoming Ryuu-sama's servent.

We arrived to the room and heard some desperate pleas and cries. Shinobu opened the door and we saw Misaki on the floor in front of his lover, crying and pleading for him to come back.

"Usagi-san... come back... I will marry you... just come back..." he cried and kissed Usagi-san a couple of times. I don't blame him for kissing a dead lover. He loves him so much. If I lost Shinobu, I would do the same.

"Are you alright, Misaki?" Shinobu asked and walked up to him slowly. "Don't come any closer." Misaki said. His tone sounded a little bit monotone.

What the... is that a way to treat somebody who is worried about you, let alone your friend. "What are you talking about Misaki. We are best pals and we should share each others sadness." Shinobu said in a wavering voice.

"There is a world of us and you all should bow."he said. What the heck is this kid talking about? "What's wrong Misaki? Are you really ok? I could help you somehow if you let me."Shinobu said. He was quivering. Is he going to cry over this?

"Don't kid with me. You humans don't understand my pain. I even had to sell my whole entire being. I feel no emotions except for sadness. I will kill everyone I see so Usagi-san can be alive again!" Misaki yelled and charged towards us with his teared stained face.

"Get out of the way, Shinobu!" I yelled and dragged him with me to the other side of the room so Misaki missed us. What in the world was going on?

"You guys are just like Ryuu. You just want to take everything away from me!"he said and darted at us again. He missed again.

"He is has just lost his mind and gone berserk because of him losing Akihiko. We need to try to find a way to calm him down Shinobu." I said.

Shinobu tried to use his powers to calm him down but it wasn't working. We needed to find something to calm him down quick before he kills somebody!

Masahi's POV

Ryuu was turning into a handsome beast right in front of my eyes. I just wished that I could walk up to him and hug him and do even more stuff with him. I wonder what happened that made him change like that.

"Ryuu, what is going on?" I asked him in a concerning voice. "Ah Masahi. I killed him. I killed Misaki's lover. I now have my alternative power back. Isn't it great Masahi!" he said.

He did what? He killed Misaki's... lover? That gray-haired dude? This calls for a celebration. I put my best bet saying that Ryuu is no longer interested with Misaki. I have my chance now!

"Well uh Ryuu... that's great... he is not a bother no more and since he doesn't have the knife anymore, you can't control him... but you still have me." I said. He looked at me. It wasn't a mad face. It wasn't a sad face or a confused face. It was a caring face.

"Thank you Masahi. I knew I would you beside me no matter what I do to you." he said and patted my head. I was happy to just stay by his side. At least Misaki and that lover of his is out of the way.

I bowed. "I will serve you for as long as I live. I have to pay you back for you taking me in from Earth." I said to him. My feelings for him started on that day that he found me. That day that he was wondering around to find some kind of amusing toy. At first I thought I was a fool to be walking around the flower fields and picking flowers. It was supposed to be Misaki's job.

Of course though our whole family was sick and I was the only one that was healthy. He wondered up to me and told me to come with him. He said that if I come with him, he would cure the sickness within my family. And of course I followed him.

I really wonder what would have happened if I didn't follow him that time. Ryuu smiled at me stopped patting my head. I ran past him to see how Misaki is reacting. It would be all too amusing to see his sad face.
