Chapter 21

Few weeks later, the gang were in the park, walking towards the school gates. "I can't believe winter break is here already." said Ulrich.

"Yea me too." said Yumi. "Aelita are you staying at Jeremie's?"

"Yep." said Aelita. "Jeremie already told his parents and they don't seem to mind."

"Don't do anything crazy." said Angela before she clung onto Odd. "I'll miss you you know." she said. "I know we're separated most of the day but this is so unfair!"

"What are you talking about?" asked Jeremie. "All five of us have classes together." Angela sent him a death glare. "I know Kitty-Kat." said Odd while everyone else looked dumbfounded. "But we'll see each other after break ok?"

"But I don't think I can live that long without you." whined Angela as she waved her tail. Where was her pendant you asked? It was in her jacket pocket. "Oh God you two." said Ulrich. "It'll only be two weeks."

"To us it would be years." the kitty couple said in unison.

"It's not fair Aelita." said Angela.

"What's not fair?" asked Aelita.

"You get to stay with your boyfriend while Yumi and I would have to be separate from ours." said Angela, making Yumi and Ulrich blush. "What makes you say that?" asked Yumi. "Ulrich and I are nothing like that."

"Stop denying it already God." said Odd. Angela put her pendant back on her collar. "So people won't notice." she explained. They reached the gate and saw a black van pull up. "There's my parents." said Angela. A car door opened and a blonde man with blue eyes walked out. "I assume these are your friends." he said.

"Yep." said Angela before she wrapped her arms around Odd. "And this is my boyfriend Odd."

"Nice to meet you." said Odd as he held his hand out. Angela's father shook it and said "Do you know about her condition?"

"Condition?" asked Ulrich.

"He means her secret." said Yumi.

"Yes we know about it." said Aelita. Angela's father's eyes widened before he turned to his daughter. "You told them?" he asked.

"I trust them." said Angela. "And they haven't turned me in."

"That's true." said Jeremie.

"Let us talk to her Dad." said a girl who is three years older than Angela and a girl behind her nodded, making Angela groan. "Alright." said Mr. Jackson. He went back in the car while the two girls walked out. "Are those your sisters?" asked Ulrich. Angela nodded. "The older one is Angelica while the other one is Angel."

"So how's it been freak?" asked Angel. "We haven't seen you in a while."

"These guys seem to like you?" asked Angelica. "I don't see why?"

"I think I know Sis." said Angel. "They want to earn her trust so they can turn her in."

"That's not true." said Angela. "They would never do that and I trust them."

"That's what you say." said Angelica.

"Actually what she says is true." said Ulrich.

"Yea right like you wanna be friends with this freak." said Angel.

"She's not a freak." said Aelita. "She's a regular human being like us."

"That's enough you guys." said Angela. "This is my problem not yours."

"But Kitty-Kat." said Odd as he grabbed her hand, but she avoided it. "See you after break." she said as she headed to the car after her sisters. She turned around, ran back to the others, and kissed Odd. "I'll see you soon ok?" she asked as he cupped her cheek. "Wait for me." he said. Angela went back to the car and yelled "I will Kitty! See you soon!" The car drove off and Angela waved to the group. "By the way." said Mrs. Jackson. "Who is that boy anyway? The one wearing purple."

"That's Odd." said Angela. "My boyfriend."

"Boyfriend!?" asked Angela and Angelica. "No way. That shrimp?"

"You must be joking." said Angel. "Who would want to date you?"

"Now now girls behave." said Mr. Jackson. "I have my thoughts about him."

"Don't worry Dad." said Angela. "He's a nice guy."

(I'm gonna skip the break part because to me, it's not important)

Two weeks later, Kadic students were coming back to the school. Out of the Lyoko warriors, Aelita and Jeremie were the first to arrive. "I wonder where the others are." said Aelita.

"Beats me." said Jeremie. Then Ulrich and Yumi came to join them. "Any sign of Odd or Angela?" asked Ulrich.

"No nothing." said Jeremie. "What are they doing anyway?"

"My guess is that they're making out in a closet right now." said Yumi. Angela ran over with a worried look. "Have you guys seen Odd?" she asked.

"He's not with you?" asked Aelita. "That's a shock."

"He's probably still at the airport." said Ulrich. "Eating his heart out."

"Highly doubt it." said Angela. "He wouldn't do that and forget about me." Aelita, Jeremie, Yumi, and Ulrich saw Odd creep up behind her and was about to say something until he put a finger to his lips, meaning don't tell her I'm here. Then he quietly whispered "Boo.", making her jump and turn around. Everyone laughed while she pouted. "Not funny Odd." she said.

"Sorry but I wanted to surprise you." said Odd as he grinned. Angela smiled and laughed before she hugged him. "Miss me Kitty-Kat?" he asked.

"Now why would you ask me that when you already know the answer?" asked Angela. "Of course I did."

"Ah kitty love." said Ulrich. "But will you guys cut it out already?" Angela and Odd gave him a death glare before chasing him around the courtyard.
